Well thank you ladies... ...not I.T. trained but picked up a little bit on the way...

Question was brought up on the board about 'spell check' when posting...

Any time during posting a reply or editting a post you can use the spell check facility...

Just RIGHT click on the page and an OPTIONS panel will drop down...SPELL CHECK being one of these...left click on SPELL CHECK and follow the instructions...be carefull as it will sometimes come up with more than one option or alternate word to use ???

Think I will have to come up with a new section that covers PC/Internt probs... ...lol.

Hi Vicky...spam is not harmful to your PC...just a nuisance...try this...

Left click on START...left click on CONTROL PANEL...DOUBLE left click on INTERNET OPTIONS...under BROWSING HISTORY...left click on DELETE...this opens another page were you will need to DELETE ALL 5 catagories.

This will also cause you to lose any information, such as passwords and pre filled forms you might have, so next time you visit a site you will have to re-enter the info required and away you go again.

Phantom yesterday looking in my Spam section I was shocked to see a spam message but coming from MY e-mail address.

Hi guys...a you know I have a secure IP addy protected by loads of things...if you would like to know any of my tricks to keep ahead of all the crap that can come your way...even following a 'so called SAFE addy link'///NO SUCH THING'....basic stuff will keep yoyusafe...it's up to you to ask the qestions..no charge its free....but ....nothing is gauanteed..I will help when I can...no false proms here...unlike the banks or Government of today methinks.

I am looking into why it shows the newest page as page 1 but goes back to the oldest page...what I do is click onto the 'return to forum' button...but you have to be quick...that means all I have to do is click on the same topic to get back to the latest post... ;) .

Ahhh answered my own question it takes me back to the VERY first post and only after clicking on "GO TO Page" and the box drops can I read my latest message , but its reversed Page 3 it SHOULD be and you have to ask for page 1 ..did THAT make sense :?:

Malc how come after posting on the Footie page it shows me right away my message , but after posting on Here today , it does not and I have to come back in again ,is it ME or is that what Larry is talking about not knowing enough to click back on the forums to get back in????
