Decide to pop along to the Ricoh today to see the U21’s. We took on Colchester and ended up winning 4-1. The line up was in goal Corey Addai (good distribution), the outfield players were A Trialist (played well), Haynes (got forward well) Cian Harris and Adam Jackson at the back (both solid), Ivor Lawton (a nutter in midfield threw himself in everywhere) Morris, Antoine-Fortune (another step towards a start), Elford-Alliyu (again wasn’t impressed but scored), Lameiras (took the first goal well), George Thomas (played well and scored), subs were the Kelly-Evan twins and Devon scored and finally Ben Stevenson.

funnytvprog  Don't be silly Choccy P of course the M6 will never be finished.

As to the match....well we all knew Leon Clarke would score....growl, sigh. If you had heard me "NO" when he scored the first goal.....  Great match report though.

sunny should of been a win by 2-3 goals on Saturday but 1-0 will do. Next week we have to face Chris Hussey, Nathan Cameron and Leon Clarke as we face joint top scorers Bury away.

For I change I decided to pop up to the Ricoh to watch the U21's in action. It was free entry and a entertaining game ending 3-3 with a QPR player being sent off. New player Latif scored one and George Thomas got the other two but should had more. Cian Harris looked good at the back so did Morris in midfield and Connor Thomas, left back Haynes also had a good game, they had Michael Patrasso on the bench a player we could do with. The "new" player from Middlesbrough Adam Jackson played at the back and looked good as well, so in the end good entertainment.

Great read Choccy well done

Knowing the game kicked off at 11pm here I grabbed a couple of hours sleep before kick off an I am glad I did. I actually got to see the match live
on beIN sports and for the first time in many years I saw City win away live on TV...think the last one I saw was the Man U win at old trafford where
Mifsud was our hero.

Well it was great to see City play nice attractive hold onto it football with a plan to get it wide and into the box, to say Im happy with Fleck and Vincelot is
understated....I think both are great together. Anyway I didn't get to sleep till 2.30am as I was still pumped and with the alarm set for 5am Ive had a long day
waiting to come home so I can watch it again and get some sleep....

Well done City...PUSB

Hi All from Sunny Adelaide...

Hope you are all well and enjoying a great start to the Football Season of Cov... I know we lost v Warsaw but if we win our very winnable next
two games then I will take 5 wins from 6 starts any day....PUSB

It refreshing that we have some exciting talent this year and I just hope we pick of 3 or so more to cover for injuries and suspensions cos this
squad is high on quality but low on numbers...could make or break our season...so come on Mowbray fire up and just tell those monkeys at
sisu what you need.

Here is cheers to more happy days.

Good to see you and Kev at Millwall Choccy, you both looked good... headball

Well 2 pts clear I think...working a late on Sat so will not know until I get in after 10pm...record the ch5 prog watch it after motd.

Hi there... mug

Enjoyed the match and saw enough to make the trip to Millwall this Sat...got to pick my ticket up from their ticket office...not sure which side of the ground that is...though will find it...after a couple of... .

Had some food in the vice presidents lounge before the game, not many people in there though they could have been upstairs eating in the main place... ...seats were nice and soft.

Thought the young lad from Newcastle played well and thought he was onside for his hatrick... headball

Will try to bump into you Choccy before the game but might see you at H/T...ticket office says they have sold over a thousand tickets so far (yesterday).

Hi Vicky...date for our move is the 26th of this month...

Latest news in the paper today

Tony Mowbray held a press conference this morning. here
are some key points.

On transfers: Mowbray confident that by the transfer deadline
in September the squad will be stronger than it is today.

New signing Morris won't feature against Wigan with Mowbray
planning to build the box-to-box midfielder up to speed first.

Another player slipped the net yesterday with Mogga confirming
the club are working hard to bring in new players, mainly a
centre-forward and winger.

On Wigan: O'Brien returns tomorrow although Mogga suggests
that the midfielder shouldn't expect to play every game this season.

City will take a patient approach against Wigan, with the boss
expecting a 'chess match' against the former Championship side.

On the pitch: He is frustrated with the lack of training on the
Ricoh Arena pitch but is pleased with how it is looking for the new season.

And in his pre-season message for fans he urges for a little bit of
patience with the plan to finish the season stronger.

On Romain - "If he gets a knock in training he just gets on with it.
He doesn't rub his leg for 20 minutes or sit and wait for the physio
to come and have a look at him. He's a warrior, really.

Romain Vincelot - 'If I need to take someone down, I will.'
"That's what you need, players encouraging each other rather
than shouting at each other."

On tackling - "I am just someone who likes to win. I don't like
pre-season because there is nothing to win.

"I like games and if I need to take someone down for the team
I will do it but I like to play football as well."
