Well still sniff & cough.....and a bit wobbly     telephone  Sylvia telling her I might not be fit tomorrow  "You must" she said not if I'm still not fit I replied......so it's all in the hands of the gods and Sir Graham's hands.  At least I'm not feeling queezy any longer.

So Bond just a cuddle gets you working for nothing.....wonder if that BIG guy around the corner realises that

talktohand  Yes Carole we know how you take on too much  Mad   Now don't we keep telling you that?

I thought the same Bond when I "Got out of bed" to look at the SUPER MOON....  "Is that it?"   confused2    run run run  "And I got out of bed for that" run run

Yes and the Germans used to use Arbury Hall in Nuneaton to guide them to Coventry as well.

I might pick up my book tonight......I should have finished it if I had of been feeling better.

Ok back later.....Bond make me a cuppa please..... run  run    Sir Graham sending me down the coal mine indeed.   run  run  run    is that a new way for curing my bug?

As if anything you do is misshapen.
I am having one of those days when
my mind is sharp and ready to work
so been taking advantage of it early.

Written down all that needs doing
before I go away, not a lot but some
things always get forgotten if I don't
write them down as soon as I think
of them.
There are two Xmas get togethers
one for the N/H group and one for
the St. Georges ladies.
I am invited out for Thanks giving
at Teresa's house with Lorna.

I have two phone calls to make today
and will need to start on the newsletters
I need to send to Peter's friends overseas.
This needs to be done early as to some
it will be the first news they have had that
Peter has passed away.
I have the Xmas card list from last year so
at least have something to work from.

The weather men are forecasting cooler weather
today, only a high of 72f. I hope we have had the
last of the pop up hot days as its tiring to say the
least.
Talked to both Ian and Melanie yesterday after
FB messaging them both. Ian couldn't help me with
my IT problems but the Kindle is working now.

Melanie says they have been hunkering down as Jim
has had a very bad case of stomach flu for a week.
She says she needs his help with her PIC line so has
been extra careful about sanitizing everything before
and after doing the procedure. The same with the
bathrooms and kitchen.
Bond, that sounds like when we lived at the college of
Aeronautics at Cranfield, our bus service on the 10
miles it took to get us into the Bedford city center stopped
in every village along the way taking nearly two hours!
It was the only bus service there was so not much choice.
It was farm fields most of the way.
I had better get back to work here, I kind of took yesterday
very slowly as I was not feeling 100%, not poorly exactly
but just not well enough to do much more than potter
around. Already started the dishwasher then it will be the
washingmachine and while that's going I can replace three
ceiling light bulbs that have burned out, one in the kitchen,
one in the office and one inside the front door.
I am still working on my catalogues, weeding out the ones I know
I won't order from and depositing them in the recycle bin.

I am still saving money back plastic bottles for Lorna along with
newspapers and the raffia string they come tied with, the same
with the metal drink cans( I have taken to drinking a couple of
cans of iced tea each day made by Lipton, it has very little sugar
in it.)I still end up with my recycle bin fuller than the garbage
can. I don't know where it all comes from. confused2
Must away to carry on the good work I am doing here. TTFN

I think I May of said this before that they drained the lake at Coombe Abbey as on a moonlit night it made a perfect arrow pointing to Coventry
Breakfast and it's Shredded Wheat and warm milk porridge and honey plus toast and marmalade Coffee tea orange juice
Just got to do a little bit around the theatre then it's off on safari to Coventry
Glad to hear Benjie is better and I hope you are on the mend but don't catch cold serving the Tea to the lads in your maids outfit it's a bit short for this weather but looks great mrbond

Hello Marge we are hoping for  a decent
amount of  tomorrow but the
weatherman is saying it all depends on WHERE
you are in the State as its not going to be State
wide but we will take anything we can get right now

Oh Silly Lorna nono ,I know I do more than I
should as probably like she does I do not always
FEEL 73 in my head funnytvprog ,but most times
I KNOW what I can handle

I bagged two more loads of downed leaves this morning
then ran the mower over ,that will be the last this year
as I finished up all the gas I keep in the can for it ,and I want
to take it to the Hardware Store that cleans and tunes them up
ready for the next season ,$65 plus any parts it needs ,its a
Toro and has given me no problems so I think this is a
good investment ...
So any others will have to be hand raked

Bond take your ladder  and see if Vicky is still "busy"
can you ......
New Avatar is the Super Moon Saturday night as last night
we had some cloud coverage when I went out to look ,but guess
it cleared later as there were a lot of pictures of it ,even my
daughter posted one she took from her house in Florida ,wonder
if she will be flying later as it would be AWESOME seeing it
from the  window

OK off I go run run run

Well its going to be another hot one here but the
weatherman promises that it is going to get cooler
and there might be a chance of some rain later on.

The Kindle fixed itself so they were off line for a
reason I suppose.
I found the password for my old ipad(the one with
the pink cover) so that is working now except
FB and I have the password for that in my secret place.
My desk top with my Outlook express on it is promising
all kinds of new and wonderful things if I sign in so at least
I can get that back when I have time.

Went and had a cup of tea with Lorna yesterday evening
and found out the she has hurt herself trying to remove a
small office sized fridge that had been fly tipped onto her easement
which is a pretty steep hill. She could have called the city as
they have a department who deal with this issue along with
graffiti and vandalism.
I think her mind is telling her she is still 40 years old when
she just turned 70!
I dread to think what might have happened if she had fallen.
When I told her I have two ceiling light bulbs to change ,
she asked if I needed any help!
I am in much better shape than she is and even I would not
have attempted to lift a small fridge!
I have cleared the top of the little glass fronted pantry so
I can get to the Regulator wall clock to change the time on it.
I only have to lift it off and rest it on top on the pantry to do it
so no climbing other than the little fold away step ladder I use to get
to the higher cupboards or change a lightbulb. Its very stable and has
a handle to hold on to if I need to but that's my limit and I know it.

It seems Ian had some excitement in his little close last week,
An older lady was stabbed by her son and went to her neighbors house
and they called the police and an ambulance. She was treated and released
and the son was arrested. he does not know any other details as the lady is
embarrassed about it and has only told the police and the neighbor she went
to why it happened.
They had some heavy showers up where Melanie lives and her Mini
got water inside somehow. she hadn't driven it in a few days and when
she opened the door, the inside floor and seats were covered in mould!
She says it was shut up tight so there must be a leak somewhere.
Anyway, it has been towed to the dealers where the insurance agent
will inspect it and decide if the car is salvageable.
Me? I am keeping my head down!
I don't need anymore problems at the moment. TTFN

gravel YUCK ,,,
Seems Vicky is otherwise "engaged"

No cooking for me today just have to warm through
Spencer's Lasagna ,that tastes and SMELLS delicious
{I snuck a forkful}

We are almost at 60+ weather wise .....

I see Marge logged on so will be BACK

Been having internet problems here.
My Kindle stoppedworking and I could not access
my regular e-mail site on the desk computer then
when I tried to post on here and pressed "send"
it said it could not send and to try back later.
Then I had problems with my ipad headbanger
Our local internet service -Time -Warner is changing
over to become Spectrum so lots of adjustments
being made out on our fiber optic service.
Also it is the time that a lot of people start ordering
Xmas stuff online so who knows... confused2
Luckily I have a service contract with the Geek Squad
at Best Buy so I can take the kindle and the ipad to them
tomorrow and let them sort it out.
Luckily this site is back up but the proof will be when I try to send it!
I may just need to unplug the router and let it reset itself.
I had to do that with the cable box and Bose system yesterday.
I just pull the plug for a few seconds and it resets itself.
I also have a self diagnostic universal remote so all I have to do is
press the help button and it will tell me what to do.

Going grocery shopping later and have been warned via our N/H
site that since the election ALL free plastic bags have been banned
in our state so now we have to settle for paper bags (these we still
are charged for but less than the plastic).
I have a few hundred in my garage which I use to corral recycles
till I can take them out to the big bins I also use them for quick clean ups
of the cats litter boxes.
I do have some reusable bags but will need more as sometimes Its a bigger
shop than normal.
I have never understood the bagging things like toilet roles and paper towels
anyway,I wonder if this will affect the PetsMart store as I buy all my canned
cat food there. Its 89 cents a 3oz can opposed to $1:25 at the regular grocery
store! I buy on average 24 to 30 cans a week, each can being split between
both cats 3 time a day. They get kibbled to snack on but must have some oils
to help digestion as they are indoor cats 100%.
Boy was it hot yesterday and its headed into the 80s today. The humidity
is at 36% but willget lower as it gets hotter.
The people who count such things say that it was only 26% of voters who turned
out so a lot of apathy towards the government here. There were some items on
the ballot that I did not like such as legalizing Pot and it passed but its only in this
State. I agree with medical Pot as it can be very helpful for patients who have
lost their appitite and for pain relief.
The people who wanted to vote for Hillary were blindsided by the head of the FBI
who leaked what turned out to be old e-mails (maybe he is a Republican).
In any case it was a form of voter tampering but we will never know now.
The weird thing about this system is that Clinton won the popular vote but
did not get electoral votes to qualify, that is down to the electoral college
who yearsago set how many electoral votes each State would have based on
size of population at that time so each candidate had to win certain States,in order
to get to a magic number in order to win.
It came as close to a rigged election as you can come but as its only for 4 years,
lets wait and see what happens.
I can make any color the Fairies would like but the Gnomes are stuck with their red hats
and they have to live with that. TTFN

Good evening and it's just dark here and the fireworks are going off again
It's been a full and lovely day with church service then down the the church yard memorial for 11:00 a quiet March as the Phantom Knights band didn't play? Only a single tap on the side drum, we you see to have a old boy in the next village who had a landing strip and a by plane a red one so we called him the red baron and he would fly low over at 11:00 and dip his wings
No sorry no idea I'm sorry to say

OK where did Vicky go to today ?
Bond report please

Well dropped $130 at the shopper store
I can remember when spending $50 was A LOT
picked up a frozen Turkey breast for Thanks Giving
as I am pretty sure it will only be Gil and I eating home
as the boys will more than likely be going out ,I had
said I was going to stop cooking on a holiday and eat out
but the way Gil is now ,that will NEVER happen ...
Anyway the breast was originally $13 ,Big Y gave all its
customers a coupon for $7 off ANY Turkey fresh or frozen
and I had a $2 coupon form Shady Brook Farms ,whom
the Turkey was from so only cost me $4 ....no bad

Spencer made it seems Lasagna yesterday at Carmen's
but said he bought too much to make the ones he was
doing for there today {he used to do this at Migdalia's }
so put an extra one together and brought it home for us
we can either have it today ,or keep it for tomorrow so
I do not have to cook

He just left for his job after picking up Carmen's car
as she needed a hose on her car ,and Spencer's boss
allows him to use one of the service stations bays as long as its on
his own time, and they are closed today except for
pumping gas

Blaine took a shower but has gone back on his bed

Gil just watched Brazil's ladies FIFA headball team
SLAUGHTER the host team 9-0 .....

OK Bond SEEK her out ...Marge should be stirring soon as well
Weather is lovely now ..back later run run run

A sad but PROUD day today of friends
and family who fought and suffered  for our freedom

My Dad was Navy during WW11,did not get physically
injured except for shell shock when one ship he was on
took a bomb  I guess as not seeing or knowing him till
I was much older we never got to talk about "old times"

Well a sad day also in Florida {now I know why our daughter
did not  up }
She  me last night that her cat Aries whom used to be hers and
Chelsea's developed a tumor the size of a tennis ball that was
affecting her breathing ,she took her to the vet and had to have
her put to sleep, her friend Steph helped her dig a hole near a tree
in her back garden and they buried her ,she said she was OK but did not
want to talk about it ,she is like me I am afraid very soft when
it comes to animals .now she has this huge Turtle left that comes
out his tank and does walk about around her tiled kitchen /living
room floors ,Tommy started off the size of a pack of cards

But life as we all do has to go on until its OUR turn

Bond any chance your doing a bacon butty confused1

The Festival of Remembrance was beautiful tonight . I don't think
we stopped crying .

We are very proud of our son Julian Stuart Hoggarth who will be
laying a wreath at the Guards Chapel tomorrow .
We were not so lucky as a family in WW2 , Three were lost before
I was born in 1944 . Two went down with H M S Glorious which
was the first ship sunk by the Scharnhorst . It was policy not to
put more than one member of a family on a ship , but fatefully
one was crew on the Glorious , the other a Marine who was being
evacuated from Norway by the Glorious . The Glorious and her two
escorts were lost . The third perished in a Spitfire that went down
in the North Sea.

Yes Miss Vicky , the Japs were terribly cruel to their POW's , many
thousands perished at their hands, both military and civilians.

It is rumoured that Cb ib CT is to advise Trump on the economy !!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's a secret .

Nighty byes , I am full of cold again .......Toodle Pip

I think all wars brought horrors that people should never have seen Sir Graham....as I said the other day David's uncle Den was a prisoner of War in the hands of the Japs and Auntie Joan never saw his back until months after they got married.....he always wore his vest whether in bed or not until this day she came back into the bedroom and caught him without his vest on he only then told her "briefly" he was in the hands of the Japs...Auntie Joan told her sisters, one being David's Mum,  "It is a real mess"   he was a lovely man as well, a real gent.

Ah you saw Carole trying to sneak in Trump Towers with the Baseball bat did you Sir Graham......trouble was nobody would believe it was a tail that was her downfall.   "Downfall" Mmmm  good name for a record.....

It was England v Scotland yesterday Carole.....England won....and YES they wore poppies against FIFA's wishes.  cheers     Wales said they'll wear armbands.....WIMPS.

THE FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE
9 pm BBC 1

Tomorrow my Grandfathers will be very much on my mind. They saw horrors no one should have to witness . The Somme, Passiondale , Ypres, unlike so many, although both were gassed, they survived to tell the tale . Neither ever did speak much of what they saw or the comrades they lost , just a silent tear , which said it all .  I gaze in awe at my Grandads silver Benson pocket watch , which cost £3-10shillings in 1910 , and saved his life in 1917 . Complete with dent in the back it starts first time on the first wind every time . Without it I would not be here today . Such is fate .

It is rumoured that someone from CT was seen entering Trump Towers to thank Donald for the forthcoming increase in her U K  pension !!

Miss sigh Vicky has threatened to muck up my desk if I don't stop sulking , I just don't feel up to much right now .  Watching strictly , and what a show tonight !!!!!  9's and 10's tonight .

Well I'm off ... knackered .... toodle pip

Such a horrible day.......

Obama was blocked on a lot of things he wanted to do Trump will find it easier getting ideas through UNLESS Older Statesmen will stand up to him.

ME a VICTORIAN MAMA  Vicky funnytvprog
not really believe me

Ahhh poor Benjie whats he ate now nono

So you think Donkey Brains might be gone by the time
Matthew is 18 ....we can only HOPE so for the kids sake's
although the damage is being done ,and your right they
will BOTH remember how their "mother" stood up for them , NOT!
her loss as she will never regain that trust again from them

Watching all these Trump  protests going on ...what do they HOPE
to achieve NOW is what I wonder
Although I see a lot of my mates Linda included are scared at
his choice of people he may choose to help him run this country
as HE certainly does not have an IDEA ..I was surprised he said
he would seek President Obama's counsel ...
Now Trump is saying they may KEEP Obama Care even though he
said that would be the FIRST thing he threw out ,he would have to
replace it with SOMETHING ,but obviously that was ALL talk

Where is Bond I need another

You're like a Victorian mama Carole nono bad girl.

All schools go up to sixth form, they leave at 18 usually go onto Uni after then.....so they'll most likely leave home after then     Though Donkey Brains might have left himself by then.....but they'll remember their Mum didn't stick up for them.

Benjie isn't very well this morning.....something he's eaten in the garden Mad
