How's Gil this morning Carole?

Well cancelled my *Sunday* appointment.....she couldn't understand how I'd got two appointments one for the Saturday & one for the Sunday  confused2   "A case of SOMEONE not looking at my case file" I nearly said.   Anyway it's just the Saturday now.   & legs crossed.

Ok back later......wonder if Bond's made a     oh talking about ManCave that's what Bond needs or was it his shed he'd made into his "get away Cave"

They have changed the FB messenger page so you
can phone and see who you are talking to like
Face time (which they might be doing away with
and combining the two).
It seems I hit the telephone instead of the name.

I had large glass of red wine last night to celebrate
the fact that I had done all of the things that needed
doing this week. I fell asleep and didn't stir until 7am
this morning!
I wanted to celebrate once more being on the right track
after so much down time since Xmas.

Now I have to contact the Termite Inspector and arrange
for him to come in April this year instead of March.
I need some time to make sure he can completely check everywhere,
not like last year when he could only make a cursory check because
stuff was still all over the place.

Its sunny again this morning but there will be more rain on Friday
and next week. I will need to stock up again tomorrow.
At least I won't need as much as last time as I do have quite a lot
left over from the last storm but do need canned cat food along
with some other basics.

I couldn't begin to guess why Mr.S dropped out of sight so suddenly.
Sometimes some people have a hard time seeing other peoples point
of view, especially about politics or it may be something else completely.
I wish him well anyway. TTFN

I will take a slice just butter please
Sorry Marge I left you a message on FB just now
I thought that might upset you some letting go of
Peter's things but the good thing is you can imagine
someone in "NEED" will be wearing them so I am
sure pete would be pleased ....

My sister Bond works or should I say volunteers
in the Red Cross Charity shop in Plymouth ,she has
to help sort the items brought in ,but mostly they like
her on the shop floor as she interacts with the customers
so well ,that is my sister will talk to ANYONE funnytvprog

I never knew you were not friends on FB Bond with Graham
that is where I met him and invited him to our group
he is being weird though just stopping like this with no comments
at least when Larry stopped he told us he was no longer able
to post for what ever reason {I think his wife was not pleased
with him chatting to us girls but that is my opinion }
In Grahams case that could not be the case confused2

Ah well guess we will never know unless he comes back Rolling Eyes

Thought I was getting this cough under control but after
going into bed last night I coughed so much I hurt my ribs Sad
so back with the meds Mad

Its FOGGY here this morning besides being cold and all that
did manage to melt yesterday refroze so bad driving in spots
"black ice"
Would you believe its going to be 50f on Sunday though
CRAZY

Well I have to pay a visit to the eye place as my NEW glasses have
a small CRACK right under the top part of the frame ,at first I thought
it was a smudge or hair .have no idea what they will or can do as I have
not dropped them etc but its annoying

OK guess I have done enough ....Vicky guess your not chipping it again today
right as you never said Sylvia was back in the land of the living

Back later

Hi who wants a slice of toast form our new toaster that looks like it should play 60s rock and roll music? I've seen juke boxes with less bling, it's part of a set with microwave and kettle, we only need the rear end of a 57 chevy sticking out the wall and you would think we lived next to Marge funnytvprog

Sorry I did not post today but It has been one of those days.
I missed Peter so much today and seeing his clothes being
picked up meant he was really not coming back.

There were five boxes and several jackets which did
not fit in any boxes I had so did them drycleaner style
on wire hangers and covered with clear plastic bags.
I had to write on each box who was collecting them
as it has been known for people driving by to check them out
and take them without permission. I had planned to put them
in the driveway but the sprinklers were on last night so had them
sitting on the porch.

Sorry to hear that Graham has left us. he could have said goodbye.
We never know what is going on behind the scenes at home.
Will feel better tomorrow I know. XXX

Taking a nap .....I wish Vicky
Been to the bank popped into the store
for another gal of moo 4lb bag of sugar
and some onions
Very sunny here but very cold as well only in the
low 30's now was in the 20's ,but with the wind chill
it FEELS like 25f here in Bridgeport right now

Your guess is as good as mine Vicky but looks like
he has departed our site for greener pastures confused2

Bond your friends on FB right ,see if you STILL are ,you
will know as it will not let you see his "time line" ....

Maybe its ONLY ME who knows ,Hilary is still a friend
so guess he has not told her to drop me ,and I will not
ASK her or Shelia WHY that is HIS choice

He cannot UN-Friend YOU Vicky as your not on FB ,plus
why would he your his number ONE employee

The good thing about all the snow we have had is it will
they say put a dent in the drought we were in so that is good news

Still dicey with that dam on Marge's side ,so lets hope they can do
something

♥️x♥️x♥️x♥️ Morning Bond and a very happy Valentines Day
to you
Just coffee for me right now
A bit on the nippy side here this morning ,Buddy just went out
and back in after not really going out for almost 2 days ....
He goes out on the deck and depending on the weather stays
out about an hour or comes right back in ,today it was out 15 mins
as the temps only 26f
Thank goodness the high winds we had yesterday have gone
there is a storm brewing but it will impact the State of Maine
and those north of us with up to 30" of NEW SNOW ,that is the
place to go along with Vermont and New Hampshire if you like
the WHITE STUFF .... Mad

Well DONE Marge you have gotten a lot done ,when you say you had
to tag the boxes and jackets ,with what sizes or just who was donating
the items confused2

Well Spencer will venture up north as soon as Blaine gets out the bathroom
so he can get HIS shower good job he is going north though as a 18 wheeler
turned over last night on I-91 South ,got all mangled as well causing HUGE
backups around New Haven ,thank goodness the driver was not seriously hurt
that due to all the icing on the roads after it melted a little during the day

Anyway just lay the choccy's at my feet I will be back

Just spent a very productive day catching up on all the
jobs I needed to take care of.
Wrote the check for the Gardeners service,
Went online and paid for another years fee for the cats
chips and paid the registration fee for Big Red for 2017
tag, BBs should be here in a few weeks.
Also went through all the mail from the last week or so
to make sure I had removed all the Tax information for
Brian.

Got all of Peters jacket out of the hall closet and hung
them on hangers to be put out with the boxes of other
clothes later tonight. All I have left is to put labels on
all the boxes and tie a tag on the jackets.
They are due to pick up at 8am tomorrow.
Think I can squeeze in deleting some old e-mails tonight
as I am very behind on that. TTFN

The garage has to have 12 spot lights after the ceiling has been boarded and painting so I will still have work in the summer
So is miss Vicky going or is she staying home making the late night drinks?

Sorry about yesterday.
I decided to take one of the higher prescription
antidepressants the Dr. gave me and it made me
a bit dozy all day. I couldn't wrap my mind around
anything. I won't be taking anymore of those!

Melanie called last night to let me know that the latest
bills had come in from 4 different Drs. and together
it came to $1,800. One procedure costs $200 each time
she has it done so it quickly adds up.
She is on Obama care until April so it only covers the
basics. After that she will be on Medicare but will still
have to come up with a Medical insurance to pay part B.
She will still have co-pays as well.
I have messaged Ian to wire the money to her account so
the bills do not start piling up again.
She says Jim is doing his best not to mess up again as she
has given him notice that he will be out the door if he does.
He is doing all the right things this time so its three NA
meetings a week, a NA sponsor and a mental health councilor.
Even his friends have noticed a change in him this time.
He always held his feelings very close to his chest and hid
them with humor. Fortunately they are not affected by
the trouble with the dam at Oroville but there is more rain coming
and they will have some flash floods from rising streams.
They only thing that they are hoping for is a slow melt of the
snow pack in Yosemite.
The name is a derivation of a Native American tribal name.
Here its pronounced Yo-sem-i-tee.
We had a wonderful day here yesterday and it looks like it will
be the same today. The sunny is out shining very brightly and its
running in the high 60s. its a quick shift from rain coming across the
Pacific to Santa Ana conditions with dry winds coming from the deserts!
We are told to expect more rain at the end of the week.
Hopefully by then the ground will have dried out enough to cut down
on the amount of run off.

The Oroville dam itself is still sound and has a spillway built in it at the base.
It is at capacity now so is releasing water to make way for more to come,
the problem is with the concrete spillway built for releasing more water
as an overflow. It has cracked under the weight of the amount of water
it is taking and is taking huge chunks of concrete out of it.

they had a piece of land beside the spillway to be used in an emergency
but it was never needed up until now, it is washing down dirt and trees
that can clog the river. They do have the ability to stop
the water going down the two spillways but its a question of can they
repair any of it before it rains again and the answer is NO!

they are not only evacuating people but also a fish farm further down
the river. People are helping to catch the fish and put them in big tanks
while they can. These fish are used to "salt" the mountain lakes and streams
for the fishermen. Outdoor activities are really big here so a lot of businesses
will be affected by this who rely on tourist dollars.

The area affected is about 60 miles north east of Sacramento which is north east
of San Francisco.

I am going to knuckle down today and catch up on what I was not able to do
yesterday. I have a feeling that if I don't I will regret it. TTFN

Morning Bond boy imagine the bill your
son would be paying to a private contractor
funnytvprog
I see Marge did not make it so hope she is OK
maybe just busy or tired ?
Where is Vicky this morning as well ?
ahhh maybe MORE swatches

Well we have freezing conditions here this morning
so any melting or fresh snow from yesterday is now ICE

Spencer has to travel tomorrow to Rocky Hill which is up
north near our capital city of CT to be retested to get his
inspectors license for doing emissions testing ,the State has
all operators do this every so many years to make sure they
are following all the rules etc as its not just sticking a pipe
up your exhaust into the machine funnytvprog
Anyway Spencer goes tomorrow then the other two guys he
works with go different days

Had a pretty good night not as much cough cough coughing
Going to get very windy here gusts up to 50mph which
will make it feel worse

Another snow storm in the works for Wednesday

Yes Bond there was a 12th century Benedictine nunnery which gave the town the name Nuneaton....it used to be called "Etone" before then....and then we had Nunne Eaton.  So Nuneaton.    I've got so much written about Nuneaton through the years.

Hi all, well it's just sitting Carole with the cold outside and nothing going on inside and me I really like to be doing something or asleep
I will have to go back and have a look I think in from Nuneaton memories, it's a tapestry from 1580 that has Nuneaton but also Weddington,  Coton and Abbey and Abbey now is only Abbey Street, St Mary church is big but when  it was the big Abbey it crossed the main road over Manor court Road,  is that where the Nuns in Nuneaton came from?
It's the Sheldon Tapestry of the churches even Caldecott but it's called Lavcot

Good afternoon all, well we have been out to Asda and over to see the kids but didn't want to stay out long it's wet and cold and the best place is by the fire,
Starting on a new canvas to give me something to do,  I really felt like rubbish yesterday with doing nothing I was thinking it was bed time and it was only 8:30 really miss not doing something to show for the end of the day
Talking of Painting it's the painting show tonight so looking forward to that, I don't know if it's the one that Rolf Harris did before they put him away
A map of Weddington 1580 sorry not very clear

Well I am back ,and its coming down fast now

Spencer stayed over Carmen's last night ,called
to ask me if I would feed Tabitha this morning IF he did
not get home as he was helping her paint her kitchen talktohand
YER SURE ,
Never realized how bad I felt till I was walking around the shopper
I feel like I am REALLY dragging my butt
Got home and Gil is mumbling in bed about how he fell back into bed after
using the urine bottle ...this thing he has has taken away his compassion
THAT is for sure ,never mind how I FEEL confused2

Think I may have a kip on the easychair as I woke with a stiff neck
as I was 1/2 sitting up all night tired

No use you Sir G Vicky ,he must be in a mardy mood

If you would please Margaret.        Everytime I read Yosemite National Park I have to smile Sylvia was telling Tony & me how when her & Cliff got back from America she was telling her neighbour about the wonderful Yosemite National Park trouble  was she couldn't say  *Yosemite " and the more she tried the worse she got.....it sounded really funny, if it was true that was  confused2

David's just been watching that Bond and I watched the last bit.  so exciting.

Nearly finished my book....it is silly though I'm plodding on.

Firm Buns eh......we can only take your word for it I think we need to test them out...I'll get the chief buns tester....CAROLE Chief Buns Tester work to be done.

I just got a message on FB from my friend Jean
in Kentucky who just came down with this bug also.

Mine seemed to settle in my sinuses and not my
lungs thank goodness.
One of the ladies in the English Import shop had it over
Xmas while her Dad was visiting and she felt miserable
but carried on because she wanted her Dad to enjoy his
Xmas as he is getting on in age.

Vicky, I will ask Ian the name of the play first as
even if it is already recorded it might not be on
for another month and that's a long time to have
the wireless on!
Did all my errands yesterday so stocked up again
so I can spend the next few days doing chores inside
the house.
I have just heard Tabbitha calling in the corridor and it
means she has one of her mice in her mouth and bringing
it for me as a gift.
Jagger is asleep on his pillow in here with me but I know as soon
as I get up he will follow me.
Yes the Motor Museum in Coventry is getting better and better every
time I go in there. I have not been in the Herbert Art Gallery lately
as the last time I was there it was closed for an complete overhaul.
(it must be at least 6 or 7 years ago.)

I used to "set" Peter up before I went out with the TV remote,
the phone, a plate of biscuits and a flask of tea and a cold drink
and make sure his urine pouch was empty. He also had his Kindle
if he wanted it. Usually he was faking being fast asleep when I came home.
He still would get up and do stuff while I was gone and hoped I
wouldn't notice! He forgot I have eagle eye eye s !!!!

A small rain front went through here last evening but it is going to be dry
for the next few days. I need it to be dry to put out the boxes for the Vets
on Tuesday.
It appears that all the heavy rain went through where Melanie lives as
all the dry stream beds suddenly filled up and there were lightening
strikes, one of which took out their power after it stuck a tree near a
power line. Lake Melonies should be full by now (this is the lake she can
just about see from her deck.)
I know they had more than 2 feet of snow on top of what they already had
in the high country in Yosemite National Park .
This is where they measure the snowpack for water content to predict how
much water will be available for the rest of the year.
there are still some dark clouds floating about here but the sunny is trying to
peak out. its in the mid 60s.
TTFN
