Hi pal ,Tracie arrived OK staying over and
going to try and get back tomorrow ,HOPEFULLY
as I said it all depends if the airlines she asks
have a open seat ....and as long as she is in uniform
she free ...

Oh ok so I would do the Air Ambulance Vicky ,what
a nerve he has suggesting the nurses I know they do a good job
IF she had also been in a hospice ,I cannot WAIT to see
what he writes up in the paper so hope you find it ....

Tracie just went to buy her Dad some scratches ....
Wendy said Plymouth had 28c /82f we are at 80f but it feels
much warmer especially now the sunny is out so it feels like 85f
and the humidity is 71% fan fan

Glad David did well ...

Did not ask about posting regards Larry Vicky ,was just surprised
to see them on FB I did say we all missed him that is when he asked
how everyone was

Any way Tracie needs to use my as she has some school
work to do that she cannot do on her tablet as she needs Adobe Flash

It was HOT today about 90f .....anyway bought the cards, "Sorry Malc"  came home wrote Malc's out and it's on it's way also had nibbles at Palmers.

Had a nice email from Craig.

No it'll be in a Hinckley paper Carole.....starting from tomorrow I'm going to see if I can find it....I know some newspapers won't let you read their news unless you've signed up....at a cost.    Not sure about any of the Hinckley papers, we'll just have to see.

You know though the story ( be it the correct story or not)  of the Higham Lane school boy who took a gun and 200 rounds of ammo into school, didn't even reach the Nuneaton Telegraph, this Newspaper is Sister Newspaper to Coventry Telegraph  and Higham Lane school is a Nuneaton school....but not a word about it, it got into the nationals but not our Nuneaton Telegraph.      confused2   Not sure about Coventry Telegraph.

I'm giving half the money to Cancer & half to the Air Ambulance.....in fact I'm in two minds to give it ALL to the Air Ambulance, but anyway I'm not doing what Cliff wants me to do with the money,  he wants me to split it between Cancer and MacMillan Nurses .(We text Cliff and asked if he was allowing flowers or just donating to a charity like Cancer and he came back and said that was lovely maybe I could donate the kitty between Cancer & MacMillan Nurses)...now MacMillan Nurses do a wonderful job but in Sylvia's case they were not involved, not that makes any difference really BUT I'd rather give it to Cancer AND the Air Ambulance, or just the Air Ambulance, they do a wonderful job and have to get by on what people donate, and to sit in the Coventry University Hospital car park and watch those helicopters land on the roof, take off and then within a couple of minutes another one land again & that's just one Hospital....and as you all know it's not cheap to fly those helicopters and without them so many more people would die....but then I want to give some to Cancer as well.   To spend it on a meal wouldn't feel right Carole, no I just couldn't do it....this way it does go towards helping people.

Oh that's lovely about Tracie....a big surprise for her Dad.  Awww sweet

Oh say "Hi" to Larry then Carole.......will he be posting again?

Hi Margaret.

Steve, Claire & the kiddies (Jack & Lily) came round with money for his Dad plus a cheesecake.....he always buys his Dad a cheese cake.        It was lovely seeing them.

David got money off Rob and a M&S voucher off Susan.    So he did well.

I'm off to have a drink.....  tea Carole

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads.
and Happy Birthday to Malcolm, enjoy your day

Ian posted a lovely post about Peter
and Melanie posted a photo of her and
Peter that I hadn't seen before.
I know that he was a much better
dad than mine ever was and much
better than his dad as well.

For me today will be like any other.
I got 3 things taken care of on my list
and have 3 more today. Nothing spectacular,
just things that keep being pushed back because
something else came up.

The heat here near the coast has been
surprisingly comfortable so far but the
smog level has been and is bad inland.
(I won't be going there any time soon)

Got at least 5 envelopes to open from my
medical coverage probably telling me to
phone for an appointment for more tests.
One of them I know is for a mammogram.
Started taking  blood pressure pills last week
and no side effects yet. Dr.says I should update
my Do-not-take list to include Statins.
I have a data card which I carry with all my info
on it so I just have to contact them and my card will
be changed.
I am just off to get some breakfast, plain mini wheat
with some banana and blueberries. A couple of cups of
tea while I catch up on the world's news and its back
to work for this lady. TTFN

Larry was off fishing with Mo's brother

He asked how you all were ...

My daughter landed in White plains NY and hopped
on a train that is just now pulling into Bridgeport
so asked Blaine to go get his sister for me

Hope your all having a good day

Morning and a happy fathers day Bond

Yes glad you will have some good memories
Vicky that is what keeps us going ,same as Ruth
I felt a little guilty the day she passed as I was
supposed to go over but she had told me not to
that day ,as I had been going over helping tidy up etc
for her ,I kept thinking IF I had been there could I have
gotten the ambulance as it was she died alone and we have
no idea WHEN as according to her husband Doug he last spoke
with her at noon ,but she was laying in between her bedroom
and bathroom door when he got home around 530pm ,so I
am hoping the Lord took her fast so she did not suffer ...

What paper will it be in Vicky ? Coventry Telegraph ?
you can access most of them on line now a days

Its foggy here at 630am and 70f not sure just how MUCH its
going to clear ,and tomorrow will not be a good day ,or Wednesday
with some ,but here's the temps that we along
the shoreline are expected to get Monday 80f Tues 80 Wed 81 Thurs 78
Frid 86 Sat 85 Sun 80 confused2

Just text Tracie to see whats happening to me its not worth all the hassle
she has to go through for a few hours here ,asked her if she was traveling
she replied "trying" confused2

Anyway enjoy your BBQ Bond ,Vicky maybe you and Bev could have a
meal with the kitty money and salute Sylvia with fond memories
I would ALSO make SURE people who knew her were made aware of
what happened ,let Cliff stew in his OWN GUILT ,he deserves to Rolling Eyes

I will be back later Vicky have a fish

Happy Fathers Day to all Fathers everywhere.

It's Malc's birthday today isn't it.....and I'm late sending his card to him.

The Funeral arrangements wont be in OUR local paper Bond.....it'll be in Bev's paper, though I'm not sure they get it, we'll have to try to get their paper, maybe on iPad confused2 and oh yes if I know the time and the date I'll be there whether I'm invited or not, same with Bev, she's coming with me. by rights she should be on the front or second row, she was Sylvia's cousin after all. confused2

Lovely day for a BBQ Bond.

Ok got some cards to buy after Benjie's gone for his so later.

Good morning all from Atherstone a bright morning here The sun's got some heat in it this early on
What can I say we all have feelings from what you have said about Sylvia
I don't think you need a invite to the funeral, Time and dates will be in the UK local paper and you go
Well I was a lovely night in the square it's when Atherstone shows its best face, lots of street food and good music and with the evening heat a comfortable night then back home to sit out under the stars and as I said thoughts of Sylvia
Breakfast and it's Shredded Wheat and cold milk toast and marmalade
We are all off to John's house for a big family BBQ
Back later

Hi guys.......I'm so hoping he's not telling people, who don't realise she must have suffered, how she didn't have pain. Susan thinks he's feeling guilty and he knows I know how he's treated her right from when she had her first Stroke, when he left her 24 hours before seeking medical help to ignoring George Eliot Hospital's advice that she needed to go in a Hospice so she'd be able to have morphine round the clock if needed. Oh well, I have memories while she was in Hospital & in that Home even which had me laughing, I wonder how many he's got?

Just realised I've still got the kitty....£40 something, well I'm not handing it over to him....I can give it to Charity. Sylvia did say to me when I once said to her "Oi you get better or I'm off to spend our kitty" and she said "You buy something nice with it" Awww!! see memories.

And it's Fathers Day tomorrow and Sylvia will be with her Father who she loved to bits. A lovely thought.

Ok guys see you tomorrow. xx

I am sorry to hear of Sylvia's passing of course but we
know that she is now beyond her grasping husbands hands
at last.
The idiot is living in another world altogether than the one
we are all on if he doesn't believe she suffered at all.
Some people don't know how to handle losing someone and
say and do things that sound crazy.
Like my sisters long time friend who controlled every aspect of
my sisters funeral at my expense. She just shut me out!
Grief makes some a little loopy., or he is a raving sociopath
who is incapable of any empathetic feelings.
Vicky. you have my deepest sympathy.

Ahh Vicky I am SO SORRY
but not for Sylvia ,I am GLAD she is out
of it and had a feeling that smile and hug
was for her best mate ....
Her nitwit of a husband sounds like he is
in denial maybe he THINKS in his sick mind
that she did not HAVE cancer at all headbanger

Sad you may not even get an invite to say a final goodbye
but you DO have that last memory more so than even Bev

Bond what you going to do in Spain if your getting too hot
in the UK

Marge ALWAYS good advise thanks

Just eating lettuce hot house tomato 2 slices of cut up ham
and some cottage cheese {with chives Vicky }

Sad news....Sylvia died earlier today.     Now I understand her opening her eyes and giving me such a big smile while she wrapped her arms around me yesterday.

I've let Bev know.....he's not been in touch with her, though I suppose he's letting Craig & Lena know and having a conversations with them.....it was a text message to us.

Bev phoned Cliff to say how sorry she was and he was very snappy with her confused2  then we talked about Craig, how Cliff must have told him, then I said Lena would have got in touch  with her Dad wouldn't she, anyway I decided to phone Cliff, well after I'd said how sorry I was I said "Well she's out of pain now" and he shouted "SHE WASN'T IN PAIN, YOU MUSTN'T SAY SHE WAS" I said "Sorry Cliff she was" but he yelled at me again saying she wasn't in pain  confused2  he said Lena was upset, I said I expect she was, I then asked how Craig was and Cliff said in a dismissive  voice "Well they weren't close"  I said "He loved her, you could see that when he visited her at George Eliot and then at the Home" he then said "Well she was his mother"  I then said "Oh well she's out of pain now bye"   Oh yes he'd mentioned how we all knew she hadn't long  and I said "Yes on Thursday when she bled all over the bed I knew" and he went mad She hadn't bled all over the bed and I mustn't tell stories ....I was really taken back I said "Bev was with me as well as David we all saw the blood Cliff"   he said her gums were bleeding I said "Sorry Cliff but that blood came from her insides and it was everywhere, dripping off the bed"  he shouted I mustn't say things which weren't true ....anyway as I said my parting words were "Oh well she's out of pain now bye"   I doubt I'll even get an invite to the funeral.     At least I've been there for her and she knew it.

Later.

Got by yesterday with the windows open and just the one
fan on a stand so most of the heat must be affecting the
inland deserts and valleys.
There was some coastal fog again this morning but it is almost
burned off now. High 70s is my guess for today.
Death Valley and Palm Springs hit 112f yesterday.

The UK dentist asked for a deposit for Ian's Orthodonture
work and PayPal called me three time to OK the transfer
of the money from my account to Ian's.
It seems that all outgoing bank transfers are being closely
watched even to the UK!
Carole,
If I had told Peter to stay in bed while I went out, he would
have forgotten after I closed the front door and got up anyway!

Try not to take what he says or the mood he is in as a dig at you
personally, its not. he is expressing himself the only way he is
able to at that moment. Accept that he is only doing what his
brain is capable of on any given day.
If you know the serenity prayer you know that we accept the things
we cannot change, change the things we can and hope we have the wisdom
to know the difference.
I also use the 23rd Psalm a lot too to remind myself that my higher power
is always with me no matter how hard life gets.
An easy thing to remember is something we use in Al-Anon which is to
remember HALT. Don't get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely and Tired as you
must look after your own wellness first before you have the strength to
look after someone else. I have started to listen to a golden oldies radio
station and sing and do a little dancing as I work. It peps up my mood.
Just find what give you some joy each day.
Today is a work day for me .
I have to change the filter in the furnace, weekly clean up of the cats Karzie
and take a shower and wash my hair and go to the grocery store.
Then I can do whatever I can with the energy I have left. tongue

It's lovely out there.....a shredded wheat please Bond with cold milk....and a cuppa.  Smile

No Carole Lena's not been to see her yet.....if she doesn't soon, well!!!    I'd love to know what Cliff and even her Dad (Craig) are tell her?   All the excuses Cliff has come up with,  "She's got exams"  "She's working towards her exams"  It's Easter, couldn't she take a weekend off?  then it was "She's waiting for her passport"  "She's having to change her passport they got her name wrong"   "She's waiting for a Visa"     "Her Visa still hasn't arrived"  that's the latest.  Oh oh and one was "She's having problems because we're still in the EU"  SO'S HOLLAND.   Cliff did look  when I said that...."Er well, er" then out came the "Her Visa still hasn't arrived"    Oh it'll come quick enough when the Will's being read out.   All these people Sylvia kept saying "They really love me to bits"  Mad well apart from Craig and she hadn't a good word to say about him.

I'm out into the garden in a mo.

Hope it's good weather on Tuesday Susan & Matt are going to Ascot.

I'm going with  on Tuesday for a Birthday meal.confused2...   and I'm seeing Bev on Wednesday.

Morning Bond glad you are getting the good weather
I have been BLOWING your way >>>>>>>
Today we have a dull  but still WET day but it will
change in time for Fathers day tomorrow ,then Monday is
looking wet along with Wednesday so be warned if IF your getting
our weather it could change

Ended up putting a icy heat patch on my hip to see if THAT would help
it did a little ,but after bringing Gil into bed at 10pm I was up 7 times
in 4 hours  with the  waitingloo until it subsided
Not sure what brought THAT all on  confused2

So hope your all having a good day I shall be back in later on

Just made Haddock fillets for dinner ,and as soon as Spencer

Drizzle here ,but HUMID today supposed to be in the 80's

Yes being a strop IS SAYING IT very mild Vicky headbanger

Marge ,cannot paint the "lock" button it is an electric remote
with green and red lights ,I hear what your saying about eventually
sorting it out ,well that would be, NORMALLY if his brain was not
missing cells which seem to be getting WORSE ,sometimes of late
he acts like he is in another world along with his speech
that you cannot understand 1/2 what he is saying ,and of course
he gets REALLY angry when he cannot make himself be understood confused2

Anyway I am hot so going for a shower

Hi gang........

You'll soon have Big Red Margaret......then you'll be able to :driver:  hit the highway.

Sorry to hear you're near to tears Carole, Gil's being stroppy AGAIN.

Bond make that a LARGE L&L for Carole.

Been to visit Sylvia......in a lot of pain, though I was sitting on the floor (mats) just holding Sylvia's hand and she suddenly opened her eyes, looked at me, smiled and put her arms around me....well I don't need to tell you, tears ran down my face...then she fell asleep, I just sat there for around 20 minutes and then we left.

I've sent another email to Craig and had one back, he thanked me for the email, said he'd spoken to Cliff and Cliff said.....well I'll post the email, I've done all I can do, it seems as though Cliff has won him round.

I''l post the email.

"Thanks for keeping me posted. I did chat with Cliff about the situation and he thinks that on balance she's in the best place for now but needs to keep it under review. Since he's the one who is having to deal with the practicalities here I have to trust his judgement. I'll try to get down to see her before I go away in July.

Best wishes,"

Mad

Morning Vicky ,and we all know your
going to be so upset when she does
go ,more so with what she is being MADE
to go through ,bad enough to lose a friend
but the way she is being tortured is RIDICULOUS
Does she have her Dr there I wonder ....

Well I am still not feeling 100% ,Gil is being a
PIA ,when I asked him at 630am   to stay
in bed as he was going to get up ,so I could finish
putting everything to rights in the living room first  ,he
was in a funk ,and stayed in bed after while I ran to get
more cat food ,after asking if he was now getting up
he replied "no because you would not let me get up before"
headbanger   I want to  and I KNOW everyone
is saying its NOT GIL but BOY confused2

Well the showers arrived ,nothing heavy but the garden will be happy

Morning Marge when you get in .....

Glad you liked my Avatar Vicky ,David could make one of these SO
easy if you had three different sized containers ,one way of using
our old containers
Thanks Marge I try and YES you could make one EASY
GO FOR IT

Bond can I have a LARGE L & L please ,,be back

I love the triple decker idea Carole, something I might
try a little later. I am very impressed with what you have
done with your "patch".

Can you put a little dot of red nail polish or paint on that button ?
Give him the old spy instruction about not ever touching the red button
or it will explode in 30 seconds!
Really, its to be expected that he will play with his new toy. He will
work it out eventually.
I sometimes had the same reaction from Peter. He was the biggest tease.
He also had days when his brain was not in tune with his fingers and I
had to reprogram the TV remote on occasion. I also found that if I left
him on his own he usually got it in the end anyway.

Well, after a lovely day yesterday, the fog rolled in last night and everything
went soggy. Woke up sweating and had to put the fan on.
The fog is burning off this morning and inland the temps are supposed to hit
the 100f mark.
Dave called about Big Red and explained that he had called in a favor from
a buddy he worked with when he was starting out who did restoration work.
That guy sent my part to the people who are considered the best in the country
and it got caught up in a huge backlog. Dave explained that back east the
classic cars only come out in the summer months so everyone was looking to get
things fixed up before going to all the car events being held like on 4th of July.
It is on its way back to California by road. It should arrive by Tuesday.

One other problem Dave found was that the tank sits behind an exhaust pipe and
part of the pipe had been replace and welded.
Once they have the tank in place it has to be welded back on!
It should not be this way as there was a proper joint on it originally but at this stage
he wants to get it back on the road as quick as possible and we can look at other issues
later. Dave has a personal restoration project going on at home so he knows what's what.
He is aiming for next Friday as he leaves for a trip to Tennessee on the 29th for two weeks.
He has a young lad working with him but this has become a point of honor for Dave,
he wants the car to be ready by that date so he can go away with this off his shoulders.
I have already told him I will do a straight swop as BB needs a planned service doing to
keep her in readiness if I need to go up to Melanie and Jims place.
Its going to be tricky as everyone taking a car trip is doing the same with their cars so
I just told them to find room for me.
Luckily the "sending Unit" comes with a warrantee for a year which most reconditioned parts do.
He thinks that a ball park figure not including the freight charge (I think it cost them a lot
more than I have to pay ) will be around $1,550. I was expecting it to be much more than that!

I agree that Sylvia even at this stage could be moved if that is what hubby agreed with.
As I said, I suspect he has a large life insurance on her and can't wait for her to fall off the perch!
Greedy bastard probably has all the paperwork ready to go.

I must be away with the fairies, they are planning their Red, White and Blue theme for the 4th
and I think the Gnomes have been stashing fireworks that the fairies know nothing about
so I am going to sneak around after they have left the shed.

Morning and it's looking like it's going to be a sunny  day.

Mary Ann Evens Hospice next to George Eliot Hospital is supposed to be a lovely place to end your days.....I know a lot of people round here who do bits and pieces for the hospice, and one did end his days there, so she could have gone there I said to Cliff that Sylvia could have stayed in George Eliot until a room was found for Sylvia and he said "With hindsight"   headbanger  I said "NO not with hindsight, with common sense Cliff"  and he just shrugged.  I want to bang the guys head on the floor I get so mad at his smug face, knowing I can't do anything.    I'll be visiting again today.

Another email is going to Craig, he has to be kept informed.

I know guys all what I'm holding back, the tears, will come flooding out when she's gone. Only once have tears come while I've been with Sylvia, but I've soon got them under control, I can't break down in front of Sylvia.....she'll know.    I've told Bev, big gob, to be careful what she says in front of Sylvia because she can hear what's being said.

Oh well........back later.

Love the flowers btw Carole.

Glad you had A good time at the theatre last night I do love the theatre and don't go enough, we saw one of the Nolans in Blood Brothers she was very good very emotional

Gill looks good and comfortable in his new chair Carole, don't let him get too comfortable Or you'll never get him out of it easychair
I know each case is different but my dad had some of the best days of the last part of his life, when you think he only had cold water in the house and outside toilet he would of thought at the time that where Sylvia is would of been very good but what we know now about the Myton Hospice was a wonderful place to end your life in

Well it was BRILLIANT.....so good, Gareth Gates Bond was Willard you know the slow guy who couldn't dance and Ren had to teach him,  which was so funny, but it really was good....oh Maureen Nolan (Nolan Sisters) was the Rev's wife.

Glad the chair pleases Gil Carole.

The Helper said a lady in the home last year took 3 weeks to die, they'd stopped feeding her, giving her liquid, AND medication....now stopping liquid is bad enough but medication,  they can't stop her medication she's in pain as it is and you're right Margaret she should be having morphine in her arm but nobody is qualified to do it   I've not heard from Craig so I don't know if he's been in touch with Cliff and if he has what Cliff's said to him.   Cliff was saying to me weeks ago that Sylvia hadn't long to go so she might as well stay put  seeing how she is now I know I'm banging my head against the wall trying to get him to see sense, David said as soon as Cliff sees me walk in he must think "Oh no here she comes"  David agrees with all I say though, he thinks Cliff is a disgrace.   I wish wish wish I could have her moved to a Hospice where we all know she'd be looked after..

Ok guys speak tomorrow.   Nighty night

of changing the kitchen area around ,all I have to do now is
wait until Spencer gets home as he is moving the TV and couches
for me and "hopefully" Blaine will come home early as well
as I asked him to to help his brother ....
Gil looks like he is pleased, was surprised at what we spent $600
but its fully automatic with the heat-massage and stand up feature
so with delivery charge and tax confused2
Showed Gil the stand up feature which if he does it right should HELP
when he tries to stand up from the sitting position

Oh that does not sound good at all with Sylvia Vicky ,I wonder if

Spencer was saying he is changing from when we first invited

Lovely morning here as well, working its way up to the 80s
tomorrow and again next Tuesday.
Had a lovely meal last night, I had two veggie Samosa,
Brown Rice and a Lamb Tika. Free dessert was rice pud.
Mild spice this time as its been some time since I had
any Indian food.
Slept like a baby last night, seven straight hours. Didn't
even need a walk to the little room at the end of the corridor!

Tried to hang Jane's pictures yesterday but the hooks in the
wall from the pictures I took down are just a little off so
need to measure where they need to go and make sure there
is a stud behind where I am going to put them, that's why I
posted them leaning on a kitchen cabinet so she could see
what they look like framed.
I already lost one wall clock from a shaking that made it jump
off the wall. (earthquake)
The new clock is on a big hook that is usually used for hanging
clothes on in a bathroom. Its going nowhere!

I have been looking everywhere for my cat grooming comb and
cannot find it so when I went cat food shopping at Pet'smart
I looked and could only find big combs so tried the local drug store
(think Boots) and I found the perfect brush and comb. Found out
they love being combed!  The brush they are not sure about so
just did a few strokes with it so they can get used to it.
Tabbitha is getting hairballs from grooming Jagger so much (even
though they are on food that is supposed to help with that).
So if I can cut down on the amount she is ingesting it will help.
They are both in here with me sound asleep with the sunny
streaming through the window on them.
They now tolerate having their claws clipped, only the points you
know, every two weeks(that's how long it takes for them to sharpen
them again!)
Its lovely to wake up with Jagger sleeping on me and Tabbitha tucked
in the crook of my arm. Cats have a knack of making themselves feel
light or heavy. Jagger is usually heavy but when he sleeps on me he
feels as light as a feather. Tabbitha I can feel purring against my arm.

I would not wish the treatment Sylvia is getting on my worst enemy.
She needs more TLC than she will ever get where she is at the moment.
Her so called husband needs a swift kick up the a*** h***!
I hope and pray that he suffers the same fate when its his time.

Its time for me to get started here, got some stuff done yesterday but
not as much as I would have liked, So its  washingmachine  on again
this morning while I sort and stash.

Just read your post Vicky. If she had been in Hospice she would have had a
tube in her arm so she could get the amount of morphine needed to keep
her pain in check and be able to be awake. This is torture.

Carole when I got back from visiting Sylvia "I'd had mail"   from .....Swedish Fish .....you're naughty nono  but nice  slobber slobber.   Thank you.

Well Sylvia was having a bad time....she was in a lot of pain, so Bev  (    breathe Vicky breathe )  anyway Bev, when I said "She needs morphine"  Bev says "I'll go and see the young guy Shocked  and tell him"  so off she trotted...and the young guy came back with morphine and started giving it to Sylvia with a plastic syringe, her gums were bleeding on Tuesday and they were bleeding today, she'd bled on the pillowcase when we'd got there,  anyway after a  minute if less after she'd had the morphine she didn't just bring the morphine back but blood, all over the place,  they then had to clean her up and change the bed.....then Bev started "Yapping"   "I might be just her cousin but I'm like a sister to her"    "When I came to see her on Tuesday she was nattering to me but today she's just not with it"   I looked at her and I said...."Her mouth hurt her so she couldn't talk that much"  she then went on about George Elliot Hospital as though she was visiting her nearly every day.....instead of never visiting her, which ok wasn't Bev's fault, but all the same lets have it as it was Bev don't make stories up.

Anyway off to the Theatre tonight seeing "Footloose"     "Footloose, footloose, kick off the Sunday shoes ...Please, Louise, pull me off of my knees,  Jack, get back, come on before we crack"     loved that film with Kevin Bacon.

Ok later.....maybe, if not then tomorrow.

Hotpoint called us today they're coming Monday to change the drum. cheers at long last.

Been nattering telephone to Susan, she was helping at an animal rescue centre, cleaning the cages out, taking two dogs out for a walk, and just helping out. The Firm do things like this once a year....it's various things like helping at an old peoples home, painting rooms etc last year she helped out at the Air Ambulance centre. They always have people manning the phones in Bristol when it's Children In Need every year, Susan's done that twice.

Right now shall I have a crusty buttered batch or a sugar doughnut.....I'll have a cuppa though
