Well I am KNACKERED after throwing things in
the washingmachine and feeding Gil some oatmeal
in bed ,as he said he is aching ALL over and wants his
FEET left open no covers in bed so I said Ok stay there
then while I pop to the shopper while Blaine is
home ,gave him his whistle in case and warned Blaine
to listen up for him ...
Got home after going to the store in sunshine ,it was BIG
black monster clouds .....brought the bags upstairs and put
groceries away ,then folded the first load of clothes and put in the 2nd

Spencer popped home said it was POURING at Carmen's house
got here and we have NOTHING .....he came home for some warmer
clothes as its supposed to drop way down again tonight and he has a
summer tee shirt and shorts on ....

Your absolutely right about the softener Vicky ,its supposed to be a cap full
a day plus the Senna pills to make him go before bed ,I also got some
"gummy fiber" things that help you go as Spencer said Migdalia used to have
chronic constipation until he found these for her ,so yesterday I had given Gil
two to chew ......it was not so MUCH what he DID though ,its where he
WAS ,its like he cannot control it .....had to wash the bath mats etc etc Mad Mad

Its not JUST THAT its the way he is walking now and acting ,he is all over
the place worse than a drunken sailor .....just do not understand
WHY this happened so sudden as he was not like it Wednesday when Amanda
was here ,but by Friday when she signed him off he was 100% different
ah well guess I will make it ok

That is nice you met a chatterbug .....

Yes I hope June gets sorted out ,she is a lovely lady my Mum and Aunt
and I would go to her house and a few others to collect them for my party
and Nan would always send them home with a goodie bag after, along
with a slice of cake, and we would walk them all home again ,she said
she remembers my Nan's little sarnies and trifle and of course the home
made fruit birthday cake with Royal icing that she made for me
First thing she mentioned when we found each other on FB after all these years
was my parties

Well just asked Gil if he wants to get up for a while but said no not yet

Back later ....hope Ian got/gets off safe and has a good trip home

Ah so she has incidents ......a bit like when I've passed out because my blood pressure dropped. talktohand  having the monitor on for 24 hours was bad enough.....you can't have a shower etc    anyway good luck to your friend.

Oh yes Bond it's such a "WOW" room it was sad leaving it.      I want to go again next year.  Smile

Been to Whitemores the antique place.....had nibbles and then looked around.....bumped into this couple ....she talked more than me Smile   I was just looking around and I heard him say "Look just what we've been looking for" and he picked up this small table...."Ohhhh yes just the thing" she replied and then she said to me "We've been looking for a small table to put this plant on"   he said it was only £10 but he wasn't paying that he'd offer a fiver she said "Well I'm not coming with you"  and he went off with the table, she was telling me how he haggled  "Oh talk about red face"  then she told me about their cottage and how she got most of their furniture from antique shops, then she told me about their bedroom with the antique chaise longue in pink velvet I asked her if she seen the lovely pink velvet victorian nursing chair?   NO she hadn't so I told her where it was and it looked in good nick, her husband had by then returned and he had knocked it down to £8 then she told him about this victorian nursing chair  "We didn't spot that, thank you very much"   then my husband walked by "Oh that was my husband just walking by thinking she's nattering again"   I said laughing   "Oh I like a good natter" she said.....she did, got to know about the black labrador they're getting next tuesday from this centre who train dogs to look after disabled people .....this dog hasn't cut the mustard Awwww!!!   anyway they're having it and going to give it a wonderful life....it's only 18 months old.  oh and they've just celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.....so I told her all about staying at Coombe Abbey.   Oh we had such a good natter.....it was as though we'd known each other all our lives  confused2   even got a kiss off her husband.

Mix day.....  & sunny

-What my friend June told me

lovely cardiologist very thorough went through all that had had
happened have to wait 2-4 weeks to have another external monitor
fitted for a period of two weeks to try and capture what happens
when I have these incidents - if not a procedure of an implant
monitor which you can have for up to a year!
He explained quite a lot about what seems to be happening
Just have to hope that it does happen when I have the monitor
is on so that they know for sure!

Evidently he says it could be that my blood pressure drops all of
a sudden and causes this, at worst a heart valve

They could do it on NHS did have this monitor before but just for the week and nothing showed up the other implant is what I have been waiting for but there is a waiting list as usual on NHS

Just had another crisis with Gil ,he seems to have gone from 10 to a 2 in two days
too gross to say what I just had to clean up so will be back some time
later
Enjoy your out night Bond

Morning Marge

Morning.......we've got Laura this morning though David & I went up to the hospital to return the monitor......oh was I glad to get it off,   why would your friend want in on longer than 24 hours Carole?   confused2     How long had she been waiting?   I'd been waiting a month.

We said that Margaret when we looked around.....not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere.   And of course you've got all the other rooms to keep spotless & tip top.   Great place.

Steve & the family are popping round this afternoon.

Right Rob will be here for Laura in a mo so later.

Good evening all, yes I would be the first one to praise young talent but some of the work I saw at Windsor Castle after the first done by the young apprentices wasn't that good
Friday night had a Chinese takeaway and a glass of cider,

Morning Marge figured you were busy ,and I see Ian is returning
it went fast but as I said before seems you had a good visit and got a lot done
with no fighting Smile

The nurse tried to put Gil through his exersises Vicky but he was really off
today she was also wondering if his hemoglobin is down as he had his eyes
closed she said while doing them something he has not done in a while
Guess we will find out as while she was here Quest blood labs arrived so
should know the results either today or Monday
Drs liasion Jackie told me to call her if I need ANYTHING and she will
try to help now the agency has signed Gil off ,Amanda the nurse said
it would be fruitless to come back just because he is like this as it has nothing
to do with the fall and bleed in his head ,this is all this Corticobasil
progressing
Your right Bond so much of the craftsmanship has been lost ,it's mostly crap nowadays
Vicky Xmas gifts ALREADY Gil said he is giving nothing for Xmas this year
to Chelsea or Brittany as he rarely sees Brit and never sees Chelsea ,David is the
only one who comes with gifts
Any way back later

Sorry about not being on parade yesterday but everything was a bit rushed
so we could get out to the Aquarium of the Pacific for the day.
First we had to ship back the car mats as they sent us the wrong ones.
(they were plain when we asked for ones with the Firebird emblem
with TRANS AM underneath. Then it was the ATM for more cash).
We wanted to get there early while the crowds were not that big.
Its a small facility but crams a lot of exhibits in it.
Glens wife is an employee so got us passes and gave us a half tour
before she was called back to work.
The Jelly fish had Ian enchanted, their slow motion is very soothing.
There were sea otters, sea lions, penguins, rays of all kinds
and lots and lots of fish in exhibits that mimicked the ocean and kelp
forests. lots of touch ponds for the kids.
We left having had a delightful day away from the work.

The dishwasher comes today between 1 and 4pm
I have a routine dental appointment at 11am which takes less than
an hour and Ian will be here at noon to spend a couple of hours before
leaving for the airport to return home.

I also have to call my Gastroenterologist's office to get the results of my Ultrasound.

Will be staying close to home this next week as expecting a few parcels to arrive
with parts for Big Red. Might even get the license plates back ready to go on the car
then I can call Chris ,the Hot Rod man to see if he will have a look at the engine
which needs a fine tune up, its not broken in any way but it takes an expert to
get it running smoothly. I fear it will have to be towed in as it keeps wanting to die
even if I let it get warmed up. If I take my foot off the gas pedal it fades and stops.
It may just be the idol that needs adjusting.
These old cars are like us as they age, they need a bit of extra care in some departments.
I am hoping to get the weather proofing done before the rainy season starts here as it
leaked like a sieve at the beginning of the year. If all else fails I do have a cover for it.

BB now has condensation inside the other headlight pod!
Found it yesterday evening as I loaded the car for my meeting so that will have to be
replaced at some point.

Vicky, those pictures look like a sultans palace! can you imagine how much work it
takes to keep it looking that way. Shocked
Must away have some breakfast and prepare for the dentist visit. TTFN

The last time I went to visit Sylvia they had a cake stall there.  Sad

Been to M&S one of the managers there was having his hair cut off and collecting.   Bought David's Christmas present.....and while in Palmers I got Evette's Christmas present.   I'd got Bev's Christmas present the other day.....Soooo I'm doing really well.   I'm broke but doing well.   Smile   well apart from my saving up.

So how did Gil get on when the nurse came?

The top of the bed Bond.

Oh you ,mean Hugh Heffner ? Bond died yesterday
age 91 in his Playboy Mansion in his sleep of natural
causes they are saying ...
Depends on how you look at seeing woman of ALL ages
naked or with {as my Nan used to say} their dumplings
spilling over funnytvprog

My sister just said that the UK is getting some of the left overs
from Hurricane Maria ,it left our side with winds around 80mph
but would imagine they dropped somewhat with the cold water
going towards the ,but still has all that rain and wind
so UP

Wendy and Derek just had Henry back to the Vet to check
on his paw ,its doing much better they still have to apply
the medication to it ,the Vet says she believes Henry is a Lab/Pointer
he is a tall boy I could see from pictures they sent me
Anyway got Gilly up but he is 100% different today Sad

Also have "Quest" coming to take his blood again as I was a bit concerned
with the Hemoglobin dropping a point in a week ,so Dr wants to keep an eye
on that

Sun looks nice out there  back later

Why is Robby the Robot in here?
Glad you two kept yourselves busy last night
I was pooped and feel the same this morning
not Buddy this time Gil ,plus I started coughing
all night ...opened the window as they promised
the temps DROPPED so no need for the A/C or fan
I think Bridgeport is the warmest at 530am at 52f
Gil is in that "crack" again acting dopey everything hurting
feet back arm etc etc Mad
Its like when you talk to him he is not hearing you and I have
to keep telling him ,like when he was going to the bathroom at
330am he was standing like a "robot" I was holding his arm that
does not do anything and he is PULLING BACK  AWAY from me
making it very difficult to hold him up Shocked
And yet when the nurse was here Wednesday he was just the opposite
alert and doing his exercises she will see the OTHER side of him again
today but will still sign him off as this is all the brain not something
else Mad

Just realized Marge never got in yesterday ,guess her and Ian were busy

We have good weather still besides the drop in temps but feel sorry for the
brides tomorrow as its going to be wet AND windy before it changes back
again Sunday to being sunny  and in the 70's ,and then ALL next week
we will be back into summer mode   CRAZY

OK so will be back later save me a slice of cake
MORNING MARGE hope they fitted your dish washer OK

Vicky were you posting from a cell phone or your
....just curious as you had a bottle of
bubbly WEARING for you .... talktohand KNEW
what you meant though pal ....
I have a very old girlfriend {not in years ,just known
her since I was about 6 or 7 she used to come to my
birthday parties every year} anyway she also has been having
problems with her ♥️ and has been waiting to get a Monitor through
NHS ,but has just gone "private" got an appointment in three
days went last Friday ,and was told SO much more from the
Cardiologist than the "nurse" she HAD been seeing and gets the Monitor
for more days than NHS would allow {NHS gave her it for two days and
nothing happened during that time } as she said unless what ever it
is going on with her happens while wearing it she is back to square one
so she is hoping THIS time they will catch it ....
We went to the same school together ...

Lets hope they figure YOU out .....

So Bond your part of the Nativity Scene ,umm lets see Joseph Mary Baby Jesus
three wise men ,and the farm animals ....come on elaborate

Well the service man came what a GRUMP .I see he is also finished with
next door as well although he was THERE longer than here ....
In his opinion this Furnace is "so so" saying it looks to be about 20 yrs old
but I do not think its THAT old ,I said well it gets a rest 1/2 a year as we have
a water heater where as next door does not so they have to run their Furnace
356X7 to get hot water ,he said the machines that run all year are cleaner
,I would have thought they would also WEAR OUT faster

OK I shall be back later

MORNING MARGE

Well certainly brightened up .....and yes Carole it was the Nurse at the Doctors just after lunch.   She said it was a bit high but nothing to worry about       It's the hospital tomorrow I've to have the heart monitor fixed for 24 hours .....

Evette  is a friend of Bev's they worked together when Bev used to be a dinner lady,  Evette still works at the school.   Bev's 62 at the end of this month.

And if you're honest you get nothing as well Bond.

Yes and that Labour woman, who had a swipe at Prince Harry saying he couldn't fly a helicopter, Mad  was on the panel who rubber stamped the cladding on  the tower block  and all the time the Labour lot have been   "It wouldn't have happened on our watch"   but it did Corbyn.....in fact she wasn't the only Labour MP who was on that panel.

BOND hot chocolate please......and a crisp sarnie.   confused2  well he was just standing there.

Avatar is the bottle of champagne which was wearing for us......we brought it home, along with the chocs & the flowers

Ahhh understand now Bond
Your right about $$ I was checking out about
going on the State in order to get Gil help all
the time not through the insurance but #1 they
want to know too much ,and as you say any assets
you cannot have ,money in the bank life insurance
Etc so the $10'000 I pay for to have me taken care of
when I go would have to be signed over to someone else
or something or the other
Gil"s that he has is only payable upon his death so would
not be affected
So I told them to forget it I will have to do for him myself
When I cannot and should he still be alive then I will have to
look into it again

The oil burner serviceman just arrived and what a miserable
SOB he is ...
Asked where the oil tank was ( it's in the garage) and because he had
to move a couple of boxes to get to it and my Xmas reindeer that he THREW
on top of the boxes he has a puss on his face
Glad when he LEAVES
In the mean time have to sit at the top of the stairs to make sure buddy and tabby
do not go out when he opens the front door Sad
Be back later .....

Hi Carole, I think the predicted text took over, it was that Bev has a flat paid for and Chris has a flat paid for and all the homeless there is, the tower was the London tower block fire with 80 bob dead but now they are saying some of the flats may have been sub let again by the tenants so not accurate numbers known? Of who was in the block, a scam you get your rent paid for then sub let it yourself to get more money and live with a friend or relative
One of the reasons I didn't get much on the job seekers alowence was that I had money in the bank from being made redundant, you have nothing you get something, you have something you get nothing

Good morning all from Atherstone a bit grey over here
yes I thought I would get more with all this talk of paying you more not to go to work,  well the only way I could manage was with mrsbs money and me jobbing so soon went self employed.
That's without running two flats one two bedroomed, the countrys going to pot, they are now saying that there may not of been so many deaths in the tower block but is it more that they just didn't know who was living in the flats

Hi, yes I can see them paying the rent but the money for herself shouldnt be that much, that's what I was getting for the short term between going self employed and the thing was what money I did get went onto my taxable income for the year
I know I'm not up with all the claims you can make, too honest!!

No Evette won't move in Bev won't get away with it a third time, she's been in trouble before having guys in this case move in and she didn't inform the benefit lot and someone shopped her, so she won't make that mistake again. It's more than £60 per week, The benefit agency pay Bev's rent. Bev gets £600 every 2 weeks.....though £200 and something goes towards the rent.

Hi Vicky, Evette sounds like she has come up trumps there, will she move in? She seems to be halfway there, she would be a good help with the rent, I couldn't se how Bev could pay for a dog wallet if she is only on jobzeekers allowance it's only about £60:00 a week?

No that's the mirror above the basin you can see Bond.

David's been doing the same in the back garden Bond.

Ah well it turns out Evette is paying for the dog walker. 7 days a week Bond,   Bev says she feels guilty having Evette paying for this and all the things Evette's paid for, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oh and TV.   Mad    "But when she says she can't afford it anymore then that's that"   Bev said  Shocked .....oh and she asked me if I could remember the website she used to go on to meet all those guys   Shocked   All those    guys.     she's gone thought all her old diaries and her old mobiles just in case the name pops up, so far nothing ....and she was only saying the other week how she'd "Learnt her lesson"  "Didn't want to have anything more to do with men"......and now she's hunting around for the website she'd met so many strange men, each one turning out to be totally off their head.   headbanger

Anyway gave her her birthday present and card......it should be useful anyway.

Glad about Melanie Margaret.....she' really doing well.

Back later...... Oh there you go Bond the mirror above the basin, and the prints also 2 old bills from 1804 belonging to Coombe Abbey....you can also see the stairs going up to the bath & the shower.

I also keep my keys on a lanyard either round my neck or tied
to my handbag. I also leave a spare at my neighbors house
"just in case" .I have keys to her place as well.
I have only locked myself out twice since my husband died
in Jan 2016 . In the olden days (when I was younger and slimmer)
I climbed in through a window or two in my time.

Last year my son installed a new hand set on the front door
(more for aesthetic reasons than anything else)
and found out he had installed anti pick locks!
so had to call a locksmith to dig out the front plate and turn the
tumblers with a pair of pliers!
Good job I had a another deadbolt in place until the regular
hand set was replaced.
Need to get a spare set of keys for both cars as I have not been able
to find any others in my clean out of his things so far.

Had one delivery of parts for Big Red yesterday but still have an ID # for
another package that has not come yet.
Think other items will be coming by regular mail.

Ian has been as busy as ever here. He got the studio unit set up in the
bedroom where my computer is which gives me a lot more space
(it was both mattresses side by side to make a king size bed).its in good shape
but needs reupholstering to do away with the 70s style orange and brown
plaid fabric!

Melanie is progressing with her recovery, she reports she is not in pain
anymore and that she is slowly introducing things like chicken nuggets into her diet.
There is a long recovery road ahead of her but she is up for it.

Have to start planning my Xmas trip so I can get a room in a hotel close to
where they live. I find that having a separate space in the evening is heaven now
that Ian sleeps at his friends house. I don't want to overtire both of them by
being around all the time.
Its a shame that Bev cannot find a lad or lassie to walk the dog after school.
That's what a lot of kids do here especially if they have a dog of their own.
In fact one enterprising collage student power walks about six dogs as a pack!

Its sunny and bright outside this morning,72f with 50% humidity which will
be less later.
Breakfast has arrived! TTFN

Hi, sorry Carole, I would be sending them back home so the sign above them said, USA black cherries, so a long way round
yes I thought that £8:00a day for 5 days £40 so a lot of money is for someone with no money and as you say she really still needs to take him out another twice or the lad will be plating he's legs
Is that Vicky in the mirror?

Yes sorry Vicky saw that after I reread your
post ,she is paying £8 a visit to have some
one walk Leo that is an expense isn't it ,and does that
mean he only gets to go out once a day

Sunny hot and humid here ,but changing tomorrow
where as the humidity should drop

I must get out and start cutting down some of my plants
the season is coming fast that I HATE ,LEAF RAKING

Waiting on the nurse so must away ...Bond either EAT
those cherries or PASS them this way don't ya

WOW Choccy almost getting put in the SLAMMER
if he had to break into the house after the game .that is WHY
I wear my car keys and house key on a lanyard around MY NECK
no more searching in my pocket book/handbag or pockets for
keys nono
My younger sister years ago when I went over to visit climbed
through one of the small upper windows on Wendy's house after
she left and locked the door AND her two kids INSIDE ...LONG STORY

OK so a fairly good night Gil and I are talking ,he said last night
that no matter what happened or was said he LOVED me Rolling Eyes
wish I could remember that sometimes when he is going on ..
Have to run to the Pharmacy this morning ,another errand I SHOULD
have done yesterday after the Dr's to get one of Gil's BP meds good job
he has three pills left ....

I do not know about Bev ,some people just seem to make the wrong
decisions all the time ,and poor dogwalk ,going to be given away
ANOTHER thing I HATE when people who should NOT have pets get
them headbanger
Guess she has been found out then @ ah well cannot play the system
for ever although there are SOME who get away with it FOR YEARS

I never tried so have no idea where to start

Sorry Vicky forgot I am older than you 1961 a year after I had Tracie
in the November I was going to be 19 the December of THAT year and Gil 22
told him when she was born in 1960 a month before his 21st birthday
that was his gift present

OH Lord Gil was just calling me from the bedroom {I am thinking
of changing my NAME } when I went in he said come on come on
I have to get up ,I said its only 547am why do you have to GET UP
he said he "HAD TO PUNCH IN" headbanger dreaming again
he has been doing that a LOT lately dreaming about his old job back home

OK better get going before I DO have to get him up
Hope Marge had a good night .....
WHOOPS watch it Bond that was my TOE hoover
still HOT and HUMID here 68f right now back later run run run
