You and Susan ,I am on my tablet and see you
Vicky eating something like a fruit cup
How long did you breast feed then ? And Weetabix
that will put the weight on
I only fed Tracie for so many months then lost my milk
so she like the boys went on National milk before starting
on solids
Blaine was putting on a pound a week for a while there
Yes he will be happy with the extra food  except he likes Spanish
food so will only eat so much turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie etc
and then go on his merry way looking for the rice n beans pork
and all the food the Puerto Ricans  make

Ok so it's time for my shower ,temps are going up to around 54f
but with the wind picking up it's going to drop fast over night
So will catch you tomorrow
BTW I thought all your suggestions for Mrs B were great funnytvprog

Bond suggest Mrs B sits either behind or in front.....and then duck .   OR OR sit next to someone else and let Mrs B sit somewhere else.....and then duck ...OR just push her on the floor,  talktohand  no you wouldn't be able to move her.

David will bring lots of food and you'll have lots left over, Blaine will be so pleased.   Smile  Carole seeing how he loves his food.   cheers

Well Margaret I've got to where Henry is driven mad with boredom, he only sees his wife at *some* mealtimes and bedtime and sometimes during the night the Queen needs her daughter, Victoria is putting more & more on her daughter, and so Henry decides to go to the Ashanti War, (though Queen Victoria forbids him at first) where he serves as the military secretary to the commander-in-chief of the British forces, General Sir Francis Scott.  Henry contracted malaria....and dies.  Sad    Beatrice is a widow at 38.

Heard and had photos from Susan....it's freezing she said but they seem to be enjoying it.....a bit like she is in her baby photo.   funnytvprog

Oh btw I breastfed all my 3 and when they went onto solid food it was weetabix and those packets of baby food we used to mix up.

Awww look at Gil all washed & shaved

Any tea in the  Bond?   I'm sure Gil would like to have a mug of tea.

Bond maybe you could suggest Mrs B sit slightly
sideways thus giving you more *cheek* room funnytvprog but
VICKY Bond needs his buns rubbed ..
Hi Marge sorry to hear Jim  had a few falls but hopefully now he
can see Melanie is getting better he will stay on course

Cannot believe Thursday is thanksgiving  where has 2017 gone to

David said he will probably bring too much food but that we will have
plenty of left overs

Spencer has been home for a while unusual as its Saturday but seems
Carmen is out selling her perfume line so he is freelancing till she is done

Watching the ice skating on tv
Back later

The masks play was wonderful and a young lad looking out for his grandmother who's got dementia, the four cast members play about 10 cast members with different masks

Well. it was a form of revenge as history will never know
what Victoria's connections to so many kings and queens
and politicians bought her way.
I have a soft back version of the diaries and have had it for
decades but it is a redacted version anyway as they chose
to pick only important points of Victoria's diary.
I am sure it would have taken many volumes to print
the whole thing.

Its a nice sunny day so far and is already 68f outside at 8:57am
Thank goodness all the rain only reached as far south as Ventura county
and missed us completely!

I asked Melanie about Jim's recovery so far and it seems he has had a couple of slips
in his recovery but is trying hard to stay clean. I don't ask very often as it
looks like I am judging him, which I am not, I just care about him a great deal.
I know it was a great strain on him to have to cope with all that Melanie went through.
He was terrified he was going to lose her. She says he is back on track now.

Melanie told me that one of the deer who she calls Nacho came around yesterday with
both her fawns. Melanie was getting worried as she had not seen one of them for days.
Not a good sign as it may mean that it is sick but she said it looked OK yesterday.
She says I won't need snow chains as the four seat truck she has, has 4 wheel drive.
They have had a small sprinkle of snow but it melted soon afterwards.

Got to put my order in at The Olive Garden Restaurant this morning for their
yummy salad. I hope I can pick it up this evening, if not, tomorrow by noon at the latest.
I am going to order for 15 people knowing that we might have 20 but with everything else
on offer I don't think we need any more than that.

I am also on Lisinopril (5mg)for blood pressure and I do not get any side effects other than the odd
lightheadedness if I turn too quickly. It does not happen very often and it only lasts a few seconds.
Never had it while driving or up on my stepstool changing light bulbs.

Well, Man U is playing at the moment and I think I will go and watch while I eat my cereal. TTFN

Morning you two ,was that Bond I saw run  behind
Mrs B for the Coventry bus confused2
Yes we all or some of have secrets from our past
I never seen a picture of my dad growing up or was
told anything about him as Mum met Ron {step Dad}
when I was 4 but they did not marry until I was 9 and
almost did not after he tried to strangle her leaving her for dead
in the back fields behind our house when I was 7 or 8
He was a VERY jealous man and Mum was trying to break up with him
when he came to the back gate asking to speak with her ,and silly
her went ,I remember her going and also being brought home
and the police men in the bedroom and her neck all black and blue
where he had choked her ,he turned himself in saying he had killed
her ,but what he did not know was a man walking his two red setter dogs
found mum and got help
He would have been in jail only his mother and sister came knocking the
door begging Mum not to press charges ,and stupidly she did not
THAT was a big mistake
He started courting her again the first I remember was Mum and me meeting him
at the Empire cinema and seeing him and his BIG WHITE TEETH walking grinning
towards us
Unfortunately ALL of my half siblings have his teeth and it reminds me of him Mad

As I said could never ask about MY dad as Ron would blow a fit ,so it was
not until after I married Gil in 1959 and Dad had to come to Coventry to stop
child support {a WHOLE 10/- a week} that I saw and met him for an hour
before he and his then 3rd wife returned on the train to Newbury

Believe it or not my brother is the product of Ron stopping mum from leaving
him in the early 50's as he got wind that she had been talking to MY dad
somehow and so when Mum and I were out the house he took Wendy
who was only a toddler out to Cheslemore to his sisters house so when we came home
the house was wide open all the lights on etc ....
AGAIN stupid Mum was talked back and to make SURE she stayed he got her pregnant
with my brother Dean

OHHH yes we all have stories Bond

OK enough of that

Did you know there is a study that says owning a dog helps
you LIVE longer

Cool this morning and I THINK rain expected later tonight
High winds expected tonight and tomorrow up to 50+ mph

Gil woke me at 330am apologizing for waking me up but he needed
to pee ,went back to sleep only for Buddy to start just before 5am
as no one passed him the memo that it was SATURDAY
So between him jumping on the bed and Gil yakking saying
"well I have been awake the last two hours" I got UP headbanger

So being as I am NOT in a good mood people better give me a wide BERTH

Back later

Morning......Laura's been this morning....just gone..

Greyish this morning.

 please Bond & a  of

talktohand  I've not put down when I was around 4 and we had visitors, I was taken across to Will's house and put in the cellar a full bag of coal placed on the cellar steps and me being told the devil lived there, our Bob (my youngest uncle) used to sneak down to help me draw & colour in....or being hidden in our attic when the Cruelty Inspector came to check on me because someone had been in touch with them.....they'd obviously told my Gran they would be calling  confused2 .....and of course when my Mum was ill and her and my step father came to stay when I was 6 and he was a drunken perv....and my Mum threatening him with a knife when I was screaming and she dashed into my bedroom, he left and she collaped & the next day was taken into hospital where weeks later she died, and Will always blamed me for her death & I blamed me until I was around 14, but she was born with one kidney and that was diseased. The hospital said they didn't know how she'd lived to be 27.      Yes I could write a book alright.    But I survived.      I would have made a great cruelty inspector....they wouldn't pull the wool over my eyes.... Mad   you can look at a child & know if they're being abused even if they're saying they're not because their parents are telling them to say that .....acting all lovey dovey, smilling at the child and the child is thinking "They do love me"    been there and oh boy can I see it.

Right time for that cuppa.

Go faster stripes Bond......wheeeee.

Just you continue Bond.

I did think about looking for my twin but then decided not to.....she might not know anything about being a twin, might not even know she was adopted.....why upset the apple cart.     My Cousin Carol used to tell me to get in touch with my Dad but I think that could have upset so many people....his wife & family.    I couldn't do it.....he didn't know about me but would have known I and my sister were his on learning the dates of our birth even though obviously we were born early, my Mum did go to Newcastle to tell him about me, when I was 2, but when she arrived at her uncle & aunts, where she was staying, she learnt he had just got engaged so came home not telling him....or those in Newcastle, my family in Newcastle, or Buckinghamshire didn't know I existed until I was 21 just before I got married and my Gran's sister-in-law Peg from Buckinghamshire came to visit and thought I was someone who popped in to help out.  Shocked  asked what time I was catching the bus home, it was only then my Gran said "She's Winnie's daughter"  the penny dropped with me, they didn't know my Mum had had a baby (or babies) .....all the years I was hidden when any family member from Newcastle came to visit, how Christmas cards would have the names of ALL the family but no mention of me....  confused2  my Gran would say "Oh they've missed you out"   After we got married we got a lovely cheque and a lovely letter with an invite to go and visit any time I wanted to....but  though I phoned up and spoke to a number of them I never went to see them.....though my cousin Jean (Carol's sister) did....specially the rich family in Buckinghamshire but that's not my way and after Susan was born I seem to be too busy to even phone.     I guess we all keep our secrets so not to hurt/upset people.

Oh well it's late so better go beddy byes.    Night night.

I take Lisinepril ,and that's not the correct spelling
but too darn knackered to go look at the bottle but
they all seem to be *pril's* lucky no after effects
Guess your lucky too Bond

Vicky have you tried looking for your twin ?
It's much easier nowadays ...to bad your nan  would not tell
you more
Guess we all have skeletons in our closets as it was not until
my dad and I got reunited and I went over in 1978 for Wendy's
wedding and stayed the first week with him and his then 3rd wife
and my 1\2 sister Dawn that he told me the baby boy  my mum had always told
me that she lost when her and dad broke up was not his ,said he had come home
on leave as a surprise and when mum opened the door and he saw her pregnant
guess he figured it could not be his as he had been away at sea too long for how far
she was
I never told my mum what dad had said ,she always said she lost the son he always
wanted
Ok I am dragging my feet so speak tomorrow
Marge it's lucky you can help your kids like you do ,your a great mom
Sleep tight x

We ate all ours Bond.   brought them home in our tums. Smile    but yes they do really nice tea for twos.....we didn't go for the prosecco  though. Had to give David my egg sarnies....and my chocolate covered strawberries

Shocked  I haven't got green boobies.

No what ever you do Carole do NOT let Vincent get dependant on you.....it'll be one thing and then another, lets hope you see him wearing that coat as well.

The tablets which have me throwing up is called Ramipril....it's for my BP, relaxes the muscles around the small  arteries.    Oddly enough one of the hairdressers where I go her Dad's had a heart attack and they put him on them and though he didn't throw up he felt queasy each time he had them and couldn't eat because he was so worried he would be sick, HIS GP told him to stop taking them.  confused2    When Susan heard what I was taking she said "Mum lots of people are sick on Ramipril"   and I was telling my hairdresser about them and she asked the name and before I could say one of the clients being done said "Bet tit's Ramipril"  she said her Dad had been taking them and throwing up and his GP told him to stop taking them.  Shocked

Spencer was a good weight seeing he was 3 weeks early Carole.     I was 3Ib 2oz....awww just a titch, I was in an incubator  of course as was my sister I found out when I was in the Prem Ward after I'd had Steve.....the Sister was telling us all about when she first started being a nurse and she was in the prem ward, she'd said it was at the end of the war.....she told us all about the twins born on the 16th Aug 45 and one of the Mums said "Were they in the papers?" the Sister shook her head and whispered (as though it was a secret)   "The Mum was only young and not married"  I thought "She's talking about me" but I didn't like to say anything.....I felt it was still something not to admit, daft now but that's how I felt then....NOW I'd be "I was one of those twins....what happened, who adopted one of the twins?"    etc etc etc.  confused2 .....didn't realise it was a girl until a couple of years ago I looked on the internet and found out twins had been born.....Victoria Ann & Josephine ......oddly enough when I was about 12 Janice & I were saying if we had children what we'd call them.....we started writing down girl & boy names we liked one of girl names I'd written down was "Josephine"  my Gran saw the paper and went mad when she saw the name Josephine screaming at me to scribble it out....I didn't know what I had done wrong, I realised when I'd found out my twin was called Josephine, not that I'd done wrong but it brought back memories I suppose.   Though what memories......guilt I suppose     Sigh!!!

But was that revenge Margaret......she took out what?  confused2  the historians will never know now what Queen Victoria wrote in those Diaries. .....we'll never know the truth about John Brown and her now.    I think she did what her Mum wanted her to.....Queen Victoria had asked/demanded others to destroy her letters to them after her death ....luckily enough most of her friends and family didn't, so I think Beatrice did what her Mum wanted her to do.....as Princess Diana's Mum & one of her Sisters did with her letters etc until they were stopped but they'd burnt enough.

Just heard from Susan, Becky ( Matt's sister) has been taken into hospital her blood pressure is up  (reason I went into hospital when I was expecting Steve)  though she's only 2 weeks off having the baby anyway.....her ankles swelled up weeks ago and I thought they might take her in before now if only for bed rest, she only stopped teaching last week. confused2 Mad

Princess Beatrice got her own revenge on her mother by
doctoring the diaries that Queen Victoria had kept since
she was a child.
She went through them all and deleted things that she
herself did not think should be made public.
(probably containing comments about her).
She practically rewrote the whole thing!
It was pretty flowery anyway but that was the Victorians
for you.
Yes, Victoria wanted Beatrice to be her companion for life
especially after Albert died. the Princess was made of sterner
stuff . She watched all her siblings get matched and married
and was forbidden to marry herself. She found someone any way.

Some Doctors are out of touch and treat every patient the same.
its what I call cookie cutter medicine, same size fits all.
I cannot take Statins, I gave it two months and could not live with
the side effects I had even at a lower dose.
I cannot take anything with Sulfa in it which I found out the hard way
after 24 hours of hell.I have not been able to take Motrin as that is what gave me this
Non alcoholic fatty liver problem because of such large doses.

Just had a chatty call from Melanie and she needs new glasses because
they think she is having eye trouble which can happen after major surgery.
Its going to cost me as her insurance only covers the lenses.
Some special lenses costing more than others.
Need to get a snack and another mug of tea , didn't have much for breakfast
this morning. TTFN

Ahh so that's where you have been
I picked up my meds and on the way I drove
by the post office where Vincent hangs out
good job I went when I did as he was on the move
I asked him where was the coat I gave him as he was wearing two
rain coats ,he said he had not wanted to get it wet yesterday
so bad worn these two coats but would wear the one I gave
him over one of the LL Bean  jackets he had and would be toasty warm
Blaine did not eat his dinner last night so I put it into a container and
took it with me along with a can of tomato soup just in case I ran into
him and glad I did as it will be his dinner tonight
I found out some lady let's him stay in a room at her house
over on the street where I get my gas
His eyes are bad and he said he needs a ride next week to the Dr as he is
going to try to get the pressure down in his right eye
I did not want to offer as #1 the day he goes is also the day I go
to the nutritionist and even though I give him help I don't want
him becoming too dependent on me ,is that wrong of me  confused2

Not sure what's on the menu today but even though the sun is out
it's nippy so it might just be soup
Vicky that consultant is nuts as I told you when my old Dr
sent in a script for my Simvastatin and put 80mg my pharmacist
called her after telling me that the dose was too high so I would follow what your
GP says
What's the meds that make you throw up ?

Just in my last load of washing as I changed the bedding
when I got home ,now I am winding down

Hope Marges meeting went well I see someone she knows
on th said she got her power restored before 3pm
Just sliced an Apple up with some peanut butter ,filling
Back later
Oh Vicky you asked about me seeing Linda maybe after the holidays
and I will have Danny come check on Gil while we meet up as I would
be gone longer than an hour ,he said any time I needed him

Blaine was  my biggest  Vicky Tracie was 8lb ( I think mum said I was 8lb 6oz)
and Spencer was induced 3weeks early due to the high antibodies I was
making as all my kids took Gils blood type A-Pos  ,he weighed in at 7lb 5oz
Dr said had he gone full time he would have been around what his siblings
had weighed in at Smile

Good evening ladies, that was a lovely afternoon tea, we had the extra with two small bottles of prosecco I just had to pay a extra £2 so very nice, a selection of quarter sandwiches, fish, egg, ham, chicken, two scones with butter clotted cream and jam, two chocolate covered strawberries and four small cream cakes so we had a box to bring two home,
I won't ask to see the new underwear Vicky and oh OK later,
It must be be on my mind as I've just made and painted a door push bell for the emerald Castle in the wizard of oz and I keep thinking it looks like the fallen Madonna with the green boobies mrbond
OK I'll get the drinks

Been christmas shopping.....finally got Laura's and with it being Black Friday good value.  I also bought myself a set of underwear.  We also got 3 boxes of christmas crackers.

Awww love the avatar Carole......he certainly looks older than 8 days,  Susan was 7Ib 11oz....Rob was 7Ib 14oz  and Steve being 6 weeks prem was only 5Ib 3oz.   Susan didn't have any hair for ages.

Odd dream Carole.

The way we look at it is if they've not got in touch then it can't be that bad   confused2  though I'm going to get into trouble with one Consultant because I've stopped taking the tablets which made me throw up.... talktohand  "What's your GP playing at you must carry on taking these, I'm going to write a letter to him"  that was after my own doctor told me to stop taking these tablets.....so I started taking them again AND started throwing up again went to see another doctor in the surgery and he looked down the list of tablets and said "Stop taking them"  pointing to the tablets my own doctor had told me to stop taking....not been sick since I stopped taking them.   I said to the girl doing my heart scan, when she mentioned how these results would go to this Consultant  "He's not going to be happy with me" and I told her about the tablets and TWO doctors telling me to stop taking them, she said "Oh he'll be fine your own GP knows you better than the Consultant"    fingers cross.....and that Consultant had me on Statins 80mg  I'm now on 20mg

They do a good Tea For Two Bond.....that was Rachael's Christmas gift to us last Christmas.

Right.....dinner time.   Fish, Mashed potatoes & veg.

Love this photo of Susan at 5 weeks looking at her big brother Rob.

Morning not such a good night as the night before
but at least it was not Gil waking me up needing the loo
instead it was me I was having a weird dream trying to
make someone release someone else and I was pushing my feet
into their NECK
Bond I will take ANY KIND of massage ,I LOVE having my back rubbed
and when my hair was down my back I could have purred when someone
brushed it for me {the bell hop at the Holiday Inn where I worked in 1971
used to ask if he could do it when I worked the 4pm to midnight shift} prrrrr
was SO relaxing

Ahhh look at little Susan ,my Avatar is also Blaine at 8 days old all 9 lbs
of him he came out looking like he had been fixing his hair and nails the
midwife said when she delivered him funnytvprog

I just said to Tracie did she realize our "ages" were the same but reversed
this year as she will be 57 on Saturday Nov 25th and I will be 75 next month
married at 16 and 11mths and had Tracie at 17 and 11mths
Funny as Mum and I were also 20 years apart as she had me when SHE was 20 after
marrying my Dad at 17 ,would have been born earlier only he was away at sea

Ok going to be chilly today only in the 40's with a brisk wind
but I have to make a trip to Walgreens Pharmacy as 4 of my meds were
due ,next week the day before Thanks Giving I see the Nutritionist ,then the 30th
get blood work to see how this new dosage of my Thyroid pills is working
I feel about the same so should be OK but we will see as Dr Galadi calls me the
day after my blood work is sent to her
What I said last night Vicky the time you guys have to wait on results
is RIDICULOUS headbanger

OK so GOOD MORNING EVERYONE

Catch you all later

Have to say Vicky THAT is ridiculous
Glad your seeing Bev ,and why am I not surprised
about the "LOVING" husband ,guess you should
be happy he at least MARKED her grave confused2
Hope she HAUNTS him .....

Whooo Bond PLEASE to the rub down and I will watch
what i am lifting although its the standing UP that does
my back in always has done ever since I ruptured my disc
the operation took away the pain ,but left me with other stuff

Just fed Gil and now he is tucked up under his blankie on his easychair

I want you to know I REALLY appreciate how your guys in here care
about me ,as even though I know its what he has making him the way
he is its like Gil only moans and cares about what HE has going on
never mind his wife
I heard the nurse talking to him when he was getting ready to come out the scan
she asked if he used a walker at home {NO} for a couple of reasons, one
its too tight around here to use it and where would he walk with it cannot get it into
the bathroom confused2
So was wondering what he answered the nurse ,he told me he said I use my wife
she holds my hands ....but i wonder if he KNOWS what I do for him .....
So thank you guys
Oh and Vicky ,glad the little box arrived safe hope you like them
Great trophy's BTW
Just showered going to be an early night for this Limey xxx

The nurse said Dr Small would probably get
the results tomorrow as they would be read later today
but being as it's Friday tomorrow I am not expecting to
hear from him much before Monday
The sun came out after we got home but the winds picking
up and making the temp drop from the high 50's where they
had climbed to
My back was hurting SO bad it felt like it was burning but
feeling a little better since I laid down for an hour
I shall return
Love my book hope you get to read it Vicky

So when will you get the results?

Yep it is so strange that those cheeses don't upset my tum but others do.  confused2  though I'm still careful not to over do the cheese.....just in case.

Just watching this programme about Bernie Ecclestone's daughter Tarmara.....OMG  she even chose little girls who to Tamara looked pretty enough to invite to her daughters 3rd birthday party.....the poor rich little kid's hasn't any friends to invite so this agent brings these pretty kids for Tamara to give the once over.......then they have to stage the party, confused2  one time her daughter starts eating this cake and Tamara says "Oh no you can't smile and eat at the same time"   so she took her inside and give her a *pep talk* she's 3 for goodness sake....and while she was having a pep talk the party came to a stop and the *friends* had to go on the sideline until the little kid came back.    And Tamara said "We're just an ordinary family....very down to earth"  as they climbed into their own plane.  headbanger

well we are back none to pleased either
after rushing to get him there for 1030am ,had to leave
him in front in the truck while I went into ask for a wheelchair
so much for them saying a security guard would be outside and get
one ,then I had to take him to admitting ,my question is WHAT IS
THE POINT of pre-registering on the phone if you still have to
WAIT IN admitting headbanger anyway I pushed my way forward
there saying his appointment was in 10mins (by now),then went up
to the third floor to Cat Scan where we sat and waited till 1115
before calling him in ,I had to go back down while I left him waiting
to move my truck to the parking garage
Any way at 1155 he was done then I had to leave him downstairs by
the door while I went to retrieve my truck and drive it out and then back to the front entrance ,good job I did not have to pay as it's free when you have certain procedures
Stopped at Burger King on the way home as Gil wanted a crispy chicken sandwich
called Danny who brought him back up stairs

I am pooped Shocked

Marge saw your post in fb what they doing now
Anyway I am going to put my feet up for a few before
doing dinner ,pork chops home made scallops and peas

Ok why can you eat Brie cheese and not others Vicky that's weird
He back

Oh I hate that, actors trying to sound as if they're from a part of the Country they're not & can't do the accent.... THOUGH look at Mel Gibson when he played William Wallace or when Dick Van Dyke was in Mary Poppins and his terrible cockney accent  funnytvprog   but hey it never bothered me.....I've always loved Mary Poppins....as did Susan.    Oh well we've recorded Peaky Blinders ....never watched the others, not really my cup of tea BUT we'll see.

I don't mind Brie or Goats Cheese Margaret AND I can eat those    confused2

Wonder how Gil got on?

Oh that Queen Victoria .....what a bossy cow she was when it came to her kids....specially the youngest Beatrice,  poor girl....and woman when she got older even when she fell in love at 32 the Queen didn't like it and would have stopped her if she could....the poor girl got engaged and the Queen didn't speak to her for 8 months.....and then tried to ruin her wedding and then talked them into living with her so Beatrice would be around for her beck and call.  NO NO NO.... headbanger

Avatar is another one of Rob with another Trophy. same year.....Rob's 9

Good morning from the left coast of California.

Short and sweet this morning as the Power company will be turning off
the power in our area for the day at 9am until 5pm.
We were all given a few days warning so not a surprise.
Good night last night even Brian and Shirley made it and we have not seen them
in weeks.
Bond, I do have a friend in Arizona who is Queen Mum of her chapter and an
International Ambassador for the Red Hats. She is from Derby originally
and was co leader with me of our Girl Scout Troop.

I found out that what we think of as Gorgonzola is not the real thing.
My market has REAL imported Gorgonzola and it is more mild than
the local stuff they pass off as Gorgonzola.
I love to have an assorted cheese plate with grapes and apple slices
and a mix of crackers. Usually its Brie, Sharp Cheddar, Gorgonzola
and any other cheese be it Leicester or goat cheese or what ever I can get.

Its my meeting tonight so hopefully the power will be back on before I leave.

Yes, its good to be busy. I want to have some more stuff put away today.
Its an idea time as there will be no distractions!
Already had my shower today as there will be no hot water but I will be able
to boil a kettle on the stove top as I can light the burners the old fashioned way,
with a match!

Hi all a lovely day I did get a soaking at lunch as we had to move some stageing
No problem with boys from the black stuff but there has been complaints lately about BBC recorded programmes and mumbling but I think this was more trying to talk Brummie and not making a job of it plus mumble
this is some of the Leading Players team with some very nice cakes and altogether raised £100 for children in need

Wow Margaret you're getting about....and good for you.

Carole any chance of you seeing your mate Linda ....that's what you need.

Hi Bond.

Avatar is Rob at 9  holding another football Trophy, the kit was his teams football kit....they won so many trophy's over the years.....David & I used to go to his every game, I only missed when I had Susan....after she was a couple of months she would just sleep in the back seat while we sat in the car and watched them play....that was at our home ground, couldn't when they went away of course but when she was around 2 I used to go to the away games as well......so she grew up watching her brother & his friends playing football.  Smile  .   poor Susan. Had another evening out last night over at Lorna's.
She invited me over as she had made her lovely small
soft Tacos.  While eating we watched "An Officer and a Gentleman".
Then we found out that "Mystic Pizza" was on after it so was still there
at nearly midnight!
Lorna has a Movie channel on her cable TV and she is catching up on
all the movies she missed the last several years after losing her husband.
During the commercial breaks the dogs and her all white cat, Bobby entertained
us with their playing with each other.

Loki is still in good health  and her poor elderly stray poodle mix Yoshi is doing
so much better than he was. He still has moments when he seems to be in a trance
but we think it is because he is losing his hearing.
The youngest dog is Keaku  and she is a bouncing ball of energy anyway.
Kona is getting a white face as she ages and I cannot believe the get-up-and-go
the littlest dog Muffin has at her age, we think she is about ten and has asthma
but she is as playful as the rest of them.
The N/H watch team are planning a get together this coming Sunday and it seems
that there will be at least 20 so far. It will be held at Joanna and Andy's house
and it will be the usual pot luck. (I am down for the salad again) I got it ready made
from The Olive Garden restaurant the last time and they all liked it.
Just need to put the order in 24 hours in advance.
It seems Lorna and I are still going to Teresa's for Thanksgiving so that will be fun.

I looked up the amount of time still left for the Awning and it should be next week sometime.
The Windows are due at the end of the month, around the 30th.
BBs passenger side headlight pod should be here this week or early next week. As soon
as she comes back I can book BR in to get the weather strip taken care of.
Its all go here!
I am off out again tonight for the ladies who do dinner. We are going to a place that has been
around long before we moved here called The Hot 'N Tot. I have never been there before
but if the ladies like it enough to go back , it must be good.

The only male we have is Pamela's husband Michael who is a riot (let me say that Michaels
job before he retired was as an airline pilot for BA!) there are certain ladies he likes to tease
and one found a set of cutlery wrapped in a napkin in the bottom of her bag when she changed
bags for work. She carried them to each venue we went to, checking out if it matched the
silverware at each place before very quietly putting them back on the table before we left!  Smile
The rest of the group did not know that is what she was doing and she only admitted it
last week when we had a guest with us and we were telling her to watch out for Michael!

weather is cool and misty here again with weak  sunny peeking through the cloud cover.
It does burn off during the day and a jacket or cardigan is only needed early or later on.
Time to put my big girls panties on and get to work here. TTFN

Hi Bond.....David did the shopper  this morning, I stayed here, we were waiting for a parcel to be delivered, Matthew's Computer  bit....  confused2   it was delivered after he'd got back, so I could have gone.      Anyway we've got a full fridgefood  now.

Got the book at Dobbies    and then went to Woodlands I had a cinnamon scone, really nice. and a cuppa, we also bought some BIG batches....David said "What does that remind you of?" Awwww when we were first married on a Saturday night we had these really big batches with Lancashire cheese in.  Ohhhhh yum yum, came to live here and it was "Where are the BIG batches?"  confused2  so 50 years later we find somewhere which sold them.  cheers

Oh here comes the glam girl.....Oh dear it's a good job Danny came to check on Gil.

Yes Carole kids do seem to flit about these days, Susan's off all over the place.

Tweet tweet Bond....chirp.

Nice blue birds Bond
Well got back here at 1130am and a good job
I asked Danny to pop round to check on Gil
as it seems he was having to "GO"
and thought he was going to do it in his pants
So when Danny came up he helped him to the loo
I thanked him and he said no problem as he knows
its hard and any time I need him to just call and he
will be around tomorrow at 10am to get him down the stairs
for me ....
I feel bad he and Spencer are no longer best mates ,but it
was Danny who started that not Spencer and so its only Blaine
who is friends with him now a days

At least I had a relaxing couple of hours with a good chin wag
Fran was pleased I was taking time out for my own health
now as well

So will be back later Orange Chicken for dinner

OK pretty much ready to go ,I normally leave
the house around 9am for my 930 appointment
as her salon is  only a 12 min drive away

Thought I saw Vicky logged before I signed off
before but no posting

Got Gil up washed dressed and fed ,now he sits
waiting on me to leave when I will give him the two
scratch offs I normally have for him while I run any where
,Going to telephone  Danny and ask him to pop in on him
later to make sure he is ok before I get home around 1130am
And remind him that I need  his assistance tomorrow at 10am
They are calling for some  tomorrow ,wish it was
NOT as its bad enough getting him into my 4x4  on a dry day

I see David {my David} was in Oklahoma yesterday with Lin Sun
his girlfriend ,they went to see some NBA star who just started
a clothing line and they are caught on the video standing waiting to
go in and also you see them exiting behind another star being
interviewed funnytvprog .....I am telling you David is the
version of "Globe Trotter"

So I shall return later freshly "Quaffed" Surprised

Ahhh THERE you are Vicky and THERE she went AGAIN santa
