PostSubject: Morning everyone..It's a new week...11/08/2014   Sun Jan 14, 2018 12:02 am

First topic message reminder :

Yes that's her Carole though like you she doesn't spring to mind, just have Marilyn Monroe of pop in my mindI know she had twins Paul & Barry who took up singing but Paul I think it was gave it up and just wrote songs and his brother went solo.....but I couldn't tell you the songs of either the Mum or the twins. I do remember the boys slightly

Yes it was Lily sitting at a table opening one of her Christening presents......this one is Lily getting Christened, hope you can see her ok....and the lady Vicar, who was lovely.

Ahh not to worry Vicky ,about the Raffinee
as I told you I would have had enough to last
me a couple of years with what I bought myself
and what Tracie sent ....feel bad though your left with it
unless you LIKE it and can wear it {then you can imagine
how I would smell if sitting next to you } funnytvprog
The thing I like about it is after squirting a little behind
each ear and wrists I do not smell it myself ,which is good
as certain perfumes make me feel quite sick to my stomach
This and White Diamonds are the only ones I have found
that do not do that

Spencer just replaced my gas cap and put some fluid in my radiator
as he told me I was down last time he checked

Keith did not get the job at the City ,so he and his son whom he
says will be leaving in a couple of weeks to do some installation
for what I do not know overseas will be helping him do next doors
12' counter , I asked if it had to be custom made he said he hoped
not watch him get a 10' one like I have and buy another 2' and put
them together as for another reason he cut mine at one end on an
angle and then put in the smaller section in the corner talktohand
don't ask WHY not only the boys but Gil asked WHY did he do that confused2
He is on the last cabinets and will finish Spencer's tomorrow he said
I SHALL BE CELEBRATING
The drinks will be on ME

As soon as he is gone I am off for a shower
and a GOOD NIGHT to one and ALL xxx

Is that the Clarkson one Bond or the new lot?

I hope most if not all your members turn up tonight Margaret, glad you had a fun night last night anyway. Good luck with the car as well.

Yes Carole I love reading about Margaret's shenanigans too. As to Keith he'll soon be finished and your kitchen will be back to normal but looking fab.

Oh Carole did you read about me trying to send you that Raffles perfume?

Ok back later.

Hi Marge ,love reading about your shenanigans

Hi Vicky sounds like your getting a bit better able
to get out as long as your well wrapped up

Yes this guy is REALLY just a handyman who happens
to know a few things .he would never make it working
at a normal 9 to 5 job ,his biggest problem as Spencer
said is he jumps from ONE thing to another ,instead of
starting and finishing one at a TIME ....

That is how our company used to be Vicky regards a
reputation for good workmanship making our machines
and why Blaine was sent out to work on the Die Sets
to companies should there be a problem and him only
a young man as I got him in there when he was 24 yrs
old he was 39 when we got laid off in 2002
Even now where he works ,no one can keep up with him
he runs whats known as Tumbling machines {our company
U.S.Baird Corp makes them} as well as a machine that makes
the parts where he is now
When he was out sick two days they said three employees
did his job and they did not get out as many as he does in
a day

As to Barbara no she has stomach problems any way Vicky
so not enough SURE it was the flu ,as she said her stomach Dr
had put her in the hospital .will know more when i see her

Had to order Wee Wah so going to eat back later

Love the picture of Buddy with his
"do not disturb" sign up
Vicky looks like the lady of the manor
in her lovely dress.

Had a fun dinner out last night with the UK
crew. (9 in all) at the Black Bear restaurant.
I had their Chicken enchiladas, three small
ones with refried beans (think Mushy peas)
a pesto dressing and little pots of sour cream
and salsa. I had coffee to drink as it was too
cold for a cold drink.
Everyone was in a good mood so no aches
and pains stories. Brian and his wife Shirley
are our oldest couple, being in their 80s but
going strong even after all the health scares
they had last year. Shirley has finally put
her foot down about Brian getting rid of all his
machine tools that have been filling the garage
and back patio for years.(need I say it, another
pack rat). Most I think are so out of date that are
of no use to anyone.

Got a long phone call from Gassers garage yesterday.
Seems they are having problems with the engine in
Big Red.
Its not the original to the car but an aftermarket one
meaning its reconditioned one, he has found some
quirky things like high performance pistons that
do not match the rest of the engine and some
replacement original parts which mean its not functioning
the way it should.
He cannot tell if the engine was a rebuild of the original or
if it came that way.
He asked who put the engine in and I told him it was Chris Braun,
about six years ago. I also told him that since Peter died I have
been taking it to Hillside garage and I will bet they have a good
history of what was done to the car even before Peter died.
He said he was going to call Chris yesterday and see what he
remembers and give me a call back today after getting as much
background on the engine such as where it was purchased from.

He says I can go ahead and reregister the car at the AAA and have
a notice of "smog certification to follow" attached. This is sent
electronically to California DMV in Sacramento.
My cars 2018 registration is already here and its registration month
is March. Big Reds is April.
Still need to run out this morning and get those documents copied
and put the Termite contract in the mail.
With the eye exam I can go to the DMV and find out when I am
liable to get an appointment for the driving test.
Once I get the appointment for my field vision test at the other
eye clinic the heat is off for a while.

Both cats had quite a barf festival last night while I was asleep
so four lots to clean up after breakfast.
Don't worry, I have a special cleaning solution from the Pet store
which is not only a stain remover but also a disinfectant so
no smell after cleaning it out of the wall to wall carpet.
I need to get them in to the vets to find out what's going on
with them as they do not have contact with anything outside
but they do groom each other a lot and Jagger sheds all year
long. I can comb Tabbitha and not get much fur out of her
or Jagger. Its a mystery. confused2
They are due for a check up anyway.

Current temperature here is 55f and partly cloudy, rising to
a high of 58f for the day. The low tonight will be 44f.
The humidity level stands at 49% outside but is 30% inside the
house!
Its the furnace that makes the air so dry in here.
(need to change the filter, must put that on my list).
Hark, I hear the sound of the City trash trucks coming my way.
Gardeners filled the garden refuse one to the top again!
Luckily, I already had the bins out at the curb so did not have to
wheel out that bin as it gets quite heavy to maneuver.
The other two are only half full so not a problem.

I wonder if anyone will show up tonight at the meeting.
Last week I waited for 45minutes and no one came so locked up
and came home early, three of our members are indisposed for
various reasons but it must have either been too cold for the rest
or they all got the flu bug!(or could they be watching the Olympics)
I worry about the newcomers who turn up expecting a meeting and
need help so I stay in case they come.

I don't mind running it as a drop in meeting instead of a full meeting.
It means that I can give them a directory of other meetings, a newcomer
packet and sell them a hand book if they want to go home with one and
give them an overview of what the program is about.
I don't think it will be too long before this meeting folds but I cannot make
that decision by myself I need the other members to show up and take a vote.
I had hoped to get 25 years in and I still have at least one or two more years
to go.
All I know is ,I did my best so can walk away feeling satisfied.

Well though the sunny  is out you have to wrap up warm......we went to Dobbies gosh it was packed, was lucky enough to get our favourite table though......think positive.   we both only had a cherry & coconut scone though, David had  and I had then we wandered about......looked in the freezers, it was "We could get that for when Susan & Matt come up it looks good"      I so nearly did.....next week maybe.   Then it was looking at the toys, oh the racing cars which kids sit on to drive.....and a ....then off to the soft toys, there's a notice which says for parents to please keep their children under control littleBlond  what about a grandparent "Oh look at this cute bear....Lily would like this"  confused2  then onto silk flowers...."Wow look at these tulips.....I could get some"   of course I haven't.....maybe at the end of the month  Rolling Eyes talktohand  didn't buy a thing.

I did try to post your perfume to you today Carole (Raffles one) but it turns out we're not allowed to send perfume out of the Country.....I told her I'd done it before, when I sent you the Elizabeth Taylor one, but she said yes we used to be able to but not these days.....So sorry Carole I'll not be able to send it to you.   Sigh!!!!   Sorry.

That Keith wouldn't last a day if he had been working for us when we had our company,  ALL our guys were top notch, in fact when we sold up & the guys were told all our men got a another job that very day all they needed to do was to say they were working for us.....a good name travels far.      So that Keith is terrible.    Hope you told him about the  washingmachine

Do you think Barbara came back to work to soon before?    It would be so easy for her to pick something up if she's still not 100%.

Oh Prince William was at the Mira on Tuesday, (not far from me) going around the track in an Aston Martin.

Later......Oh Buddy looks so cute.

Here kitty kitty ,cute cat your son has Bond
Well talk about difference ,today its POURING
of rain although so far this morning the temps
are still not THAT cold but will be 30+ degrees
LOWER than it was yesterday in some towns

So Leading players @ Bond we know you will enjoy that

Well Keith says he will be back EARLY today to stain the
remaining cabinets as had I said go ahead and finish
last night he would have been STILL here at 530pm
and we would have not been able to have eaten dinner
as it was I could not even get to make Gil a ALL
afternoon plus having that PONG later into the evening nono
So he will be back today and MAY be returning Friday to finish
off downstairs
Hooked my washing machine back up before he left and said
before he came back today to try it out, well that was OK except
I could have BURNT THE MOTOR OUT as he neglected to turn the
WATER ON,it sounded funny so not being a STUPID Limey I switched
it back off until Spencer came home and asked him where the water
turn on/off for it was as I could not hear it filling,he got under the
sink and sure enough it was in the OFF position Mad wait till
he turns up today

I see Billy Graham has gone to meet his maker 99 would have been 100
this year ,lots of people paying compliments to him including past presidents

Well had no reply from Barbara to MY text so wondering what the agency
will say as they said they would call me and let me know about tomorrow
Rolling Eyes its making it difficult for me to do what I normally do when she
is here watching Gil so I do not have to worry about what he is doing alone for sure confused2

Ah well better get on ,Visiting Nurse due today at 11am also had a call from
the Geriactic Dr's office last night saying Gil's OC numbers were not good
this all being as when they put the clip on your finger to measure your oxygen
he breaths so shallow its low and anything under 90 they normally stick
you on a oxygen machine ,but all he has to do is breath in though his nose
and blow it out and the number rises ,I said he does not want that as he has
said he wants no added help to keep him alive why he wears the DNR bracelet
Ah well we shall see how things go confused2

MORNING LADIES

Its a good job you don't know the jokes we women
make about dating men!
Don't ever go there. Be affraid very affraid

They have been interviewing tourists on TV from out of
town about the "cold snap" we are having at the moment.
Seems we Californians are a bunch of hot house flowers
compared to the rest of the northern and eastern states
at this time of year. Its just what you are used to.

All I have to do is remember winters in Cranfield
Bedfordshire with the frost on the INSIDE of the windows,
Sleeping with hot water bottles and socks on and a cardigan
and thick dressing gown and still shivering even with the
fur rug on the bed.
It was like that the first night in France when the house was
like an igloo because the man that was supposed to turn on the
heat before we arrived had not done so. I got the only electric
blanket that night or I would have been an Icicle in the morning.
Once the radiators got going it was OK.
The weather that winter in Provence was just like it is here now.

Carole's handy man might be on disability and is working under
the table for cash in hand. I am not saying he is not good at
what he does but when someone has Jobs piggybacked the way
he has, it make someone wonder what he is doing when he is NOT
at Carole's .
He has so many excuses which in my eyes may cover up that he might
be an alcoholic and cannot start his day without a drink or two.
Not enough to be noticeable but I suspect his behavior as I have
seen it many times as my neighbors used "cowboys" to get a job
done on the cheap. We had one that threatened Joanna when
she would not pay him extra for doing some cement work.
She is from Poland originally. She came running up to my house
because she knew I was at home.
This guy is still roaming round the neighborhood and keeps checking back
to see if I want my driveway redone every 6 months or so.
Knowing that Carole's land lady is so cheap ,it would not surprise me
in the least.
Must remember to put the bins out today as the bin men will be here
tomorrow . I think the gardeners will be here as usual today.

Cats are doing a good imitation of hibernating at the moment.
Wish I could too as my output has slowed this last two days.
Things are getting done but not as fast as I would like.
I think I will only take half of one of my antidepressant pills
today which was my original dose any way. I am feeling
way too relaxed. tired

Yes it's cold out there......went to the large Palmers, well haven't been out since we went to watch Laura dancing last Sunday, decided to take the plunge and go to Palmers. Didn't think I'd eat much but had a side portion of chips and some of David's salad & then a fruit scone.

Can you not do some of the exercises Carole Gil needs?

It's bad Keith is around smelling the place out. Mad

I'll have a please in a mug of course.....I always have a mug.....tea bag and mug that's me. David has a mug for his coffee.

Pass the LARGE jug of L & L Please Bond
Well here is the latest piece of the "saga''
Occupational therapist called out SICK
so down to one who will be here at 1pm
only trouble with that is Keith arrived at 1030am
and instead of finishing off what needs to be done
down stairs in the bathroom ,he is staining
the cabinets {and causing quite a PONG} over the stove
area {which means I cannot get to anything to feed us
lunch} then I suppose he will wash down the others
on the SINK side and while they dry ,well WHO KNOWS

As to other jobs Bond ,no he is actively looking for a full time
job that he may just have secured as I mentioned with the
City of Bridgeport ....no I think he THOUGHT it would be an easy "fix"
here not knowing what he was taking on confused2

Nice day here sunny and mild .....

Called the agency to see if they had heard from Barbara
they had not but would let me know and I have not heard from her either

OK so back later with another "chapter"

Good afternoon all, well that bright sunny morning turned into a bit of a grey cold day
A bloke I used to work with used to say he carried a bucket with on a date, if she was tall he could stand on it if she was ugly he could put it on her head and swing on the handel
Not politically correct now a days or then I sapose
Unless he is running another job at the same time and using yours as what we would call a hospital job,
Large L&L and ill put the kettle on for hot when the girls come in

it must be MY LUCK ,just had a
telephone   from the agency Barbara
works for she will not be coming today
as she is being TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL confused2
what the hell happened I do not know she was FINE
when we text Monday night as I was telling her about Keith
I can see I am going to have to get someone else even
though she is a very nice woman and open to what ever
I ask her to help with around the house after seeing to Gil
she even text me saying she would come over to help me
if I wanted when she was not on duty to help out BUT
as I said before she has a LOT of BAGGAGE ,that I get to hear
about when she comes .....
Her agency said they were looking for someone to come over
today in her place ,I told them to FORGET it as I have the two
therapists due today and cannot be waiting around on
another  strange "aid " to turn up that I have to instruct
all over again ,so said I would do Gil myself today
I just text Barbara saying if she COULD to text me and let me
know WHAT HAPPENED  headbanger

Bond if EVER you saw my Landlady you would know Keith
is NOT bonking her Mad  no matter HOW hard up he might be
plus he has a wife of his own .....I think what he did was told her
the price of what it would cost to do the job and what he would charge
for doing it ,even Gilly said there is no way he is getting paid by the hour

OK so there you have the LATEST from 21 Lakeview Ave

I see our queen  attended her first fashion show yesterday
she looks well for being 91 God Bless her

Back later AGAIN have to get Gil up now

hoover WHOA look out Bond
tired ,,,,you missed a spot hoover

Well I know your all waiting to hear the latest
Keith left eventually at 630pm ,reckons all the plumbing
down stairs is fixed ,and had he known what he would
run into he would have told Angie to FORGET it as
he has run into so many hiccups
I told him I was about done with all the hoo haa
and he said he knows and that {he has nothing on
his calendar today or Thursday} and so should finish
up all left to do ......WE SHALL SEE nono although
he DID make a list and said he will show me it to see if there
was anything else I can think of ,so assuming this is things
left to do confused2

MY is it mild this morning 47f at 5am and some places
are in the 50's and foggy again ....going up to 60+ in areas before we
take a DIVE down again tomorrow before the temps rise
again over the weekend Rolling Eyes
The weatherman is saying March looks to be cold and possible
SNOW storms according to the that can now predict
the weather up to 4 weeks ahead

Not sure whats wrong with my body as when I NEED my Sleep
I wake up every TWO HOURS headbanger

Have a FULL house today as well ,Barbara gets here at 9am
then the Occupational therapist at 1145 and the Physio therapist at 1pm
{more pills for Gil I can see} Plus Keith confused2
Spencer made it home so Tabitha was a happy cat to have her daddy
to sleep with but I can hear him coughing right now
so sounds like he is not over his Bronchitis

Hope the ladies had a good night though
and I shall be cleaning my broom run run run run

Well here is the latest ...
The PLUMBER NEVER SHOWED ,seems he
never told Keith he was doing a "closing" on a gas station
talktohand HA! and he is talking about asking HIM
to do the work NEXT door
Anyway Keith ran out at 330 to pick his wife up,said he would
pick up from his house the two things needed to replace
the taps under the new sink that are leaking ,he came back around 3/4
hour ago and asked where the shut of was for the house affraid
after I told him that Spencer WILL be home tonight and probably
the rest of the week {according to my son} cheers YAY!
as Keith was going to wait until TOMORROW to fix everything headbanger

I just told Gil I REALLY feel like telling him to put my dish washer
back so I can use it IF I NEED to as he unhooked it and took all
the lining out that makes it run quiet confused2
fix the section that is cracked on the back splash and LEAVE
the cabinets I can get the boys to stain them later
I am UP TO HERE WITH IT ALL

He is sweating the pipe first so he can get the furnace back on line
then doing the leak saying he may have to turn the water off a couple
of HOURS affraid
Looks like its going to be ANOTHER late night for me

Anyway will let you all know tomorrow
Regards people "milking the system ,I WISH I knew HOW ,getting Gil
on what is known as "Husky" you have to be on POVERTY STREET
in order to get ANY HELP ......

Ah yes he'll be on Disability Living Allowance Margaret.....with his Flat paid for, I know when Chris moved out from Bev he was getting his flat paid for and £600 every two weeks to live on, Disability Allowance  (he's an alcoholic) I would imagine Vincent will be on the same.   I know this because the letter telling him how much he'd be getting went to him before he moved and Bev read it while he was out and she was hopping mad because he'd be getting more than her..   Bev gets her flat paid for (housing benefit) and job seekers allowance, though she's been dodging getting a job for years.    ....don't be taken in Margaret, Peter made sure he was well looked after and trust me our state will be looking after him also so don't increase his allowance, he'll not be short in his pocket unless he's blown it for some reason.

It's odd, and maddening, when we go to the dentist and we get asked "Do you pay for your dental treatment?" and of course we do so you have to sign the form, person after person comes in and it's "No I'm on benefit" so David & I are the only ones paying. (and I don't mean private just the ordinary clean )   headbanger  same with glasses....we pay but those on benefit don't.    I'm all for those who need help but so many don't but they know how to milk the system, I know years ago I'd go out with Bev and she'd open her purse and it was brimming over with £10 and £20 pound nots, and she was on benefit.   confused2

Maybe one of his biker friends could get him a second hand jacket? Oh well I'm sure you'll sort it out when you talk to Ian.

Just tea please Bond.

I actually wore my Pea coat late yesterday afternoon.
The wind made it feel so much colder.
As Lorna and Yolandar picked me up, it was a cross between
big drops of rain but not a lot of them and hail!
Not much damage around here from the big blow yesterday.

Vicky, to answer your question, I have no idea what program
covers Vincent. I do know he does not have any private
pensions. He was in his 20s when he had the accident and
never fully worked again. He was left with tunnel vision and
was deaf in one ear. he had fractures all over his body including
two skull fractures. If he did work ,he was so paranoid from
the drugs he was on that he would not take orders from anyone
so no job lasted longer that a few months anyway. Or it ended
with a stand up drag out fist fight so no one would employ him.
He did a lot of repairs to his neighbors cars and got paid for it
as kind of a street mechanic. He was good at what he did including
panel work.
He has been through several examinations over the years and he is
just not fit enough to work at anything, His attitude has changed a
lot since he got clean though.
His brain is still in a state of PTSD from the accident so sometimes
he gets caught up in a delusion that it was a set up and he is trying to
find out who was behind it.
I don't encourage him in it but dare not let on that its all in his mind.
All I know is he gets all his medical care taken care of and he gets a flat
to live in and obviously get some kind of allowance.

All I know for certain is that he needs money for something and tried for his
mothers jewelry. When that was not forthcoming, he changed tactics to see
if he could get a raise in the allowance Peter left for him. I know Peter
raised it at least once as inflation was taking its toll on his pocket money.
Fortunately, I have already trodden this road with Melanie many years ago
so know how to handle the situation. I just needed to bounce my idea off
someone (Ian) before the next phone call comes.
Ideally , Vince wants his allowance all in one lump sum but he also hinted
that he would take a monthly increase if that worked for me.
Cheeky Monkey!
I think he wants to buy a new leather motorcycle jacket so he can put his
Hells Angels rockers on it to say he is an associate of the local club in his
area. I may be wrong but he did just get a second hand leather waistcoat
at a car boot sale which in this cold weather will not be enough when he rides
on his mates motorcycle. I may be completely wrong on this but it makes
sense to me. I know he dreams of getting a bike for himself but the big two
wheelers would be too heavy for him. But there are three wheelers!
(if he could get past the test). scooter1
I am in the Drivers seat on this issue so not a problem for me. :driver:

Its bright sunny again here after a real gusty day
yesterday. We even had some hail.
Its still quite cold here , 45f at present
going to a high of 59f. Tonight's low is expected to be
44f. Its calm right now. Temperatures were even lower
further inland.

Smelt wood smoke yesterday afternoon and found
out later that a house having some work done caught on
fire over on the next street on the other side of the hill
we are on. It was caught very quickly, not a lot of damage
done but the owners are out of town so they have been
informed. On our N/H news app someone asked why
three cop cars were speeding around our N/H and it was
because the lady who dialed 911 here is German and got
a bit confused. The cops took care of it as the fire station is
only round the corner from here.

Dinner was great over at Theresa's. Lorna and I regaled
them of our adventure with the skeleton at Lucy's birthday party.
We women get along so well together that Theresa's husband
and grandson left after we had eaten and we shared funny
stories about all kinds of things. Dwayne gives the best hugs.
He is very tall, so is Cindy, their daughter and their grandson.

Vicky, I have one more suggestion on vitamins and I promise
I won't bring the subject up again. How would you feel about
taking kiddies vitamins? I know they come in 'Gummy" form
and would not have the same potent effect as the adult ones,
end of soapbox

I am going out to Staples today to get some documents
copied so I can have copies.
One is the Termite policy and the other is the Eye exam
paperwork. The Termite policy is a three year thing but
only pay each year at a time, Its about $350 a year but
it includes any spot treatment needed. Its a full inspection
from the attic to the crawl space under the house. Inside
and outside and its for both kinds of Termite, Flying and
underground. The Eye exam, I never thought to keep a
copy of in the past but will do so from now on.

Am giving the Gasser Brothers a couple of days to see if
they got the parts they sent away for as no mail on Sunday
or Monday.
I have three checks to deposit at the bank and a big bag of
coins to put in the change machine at the market.
I do not like carrying a lot of coins in my purse as it makes
the hand bag heavy to carry everywhere. I make a point
of only keeping a $ worth of change in my purse.
(aside from the paper money).
I do most of my shopping with my credit card anyway.
Must think about sending away for more check books on
the Northrop accounts and I cannot find the one for B of A
as I put it somewhere safe in the bedroom and cannot find it
without opening every drawer and box!
At least I know its in there somewhere.

Afternoon.........it's looking so so out there but I'm still not up to going out, still fill a bit weakish, will be telephone "Have you been out?" headbanger she telephone last Saturday when I was still in bed but David had gone out with so I answered "You don't sound well" she said, I told her I wasn't, "So you're not going out?" she asked Shocked she then asked if I'd been out before the kids came, I told her I'd been zonked out.....didn't even hear the phone when Susan phoned, didn't hear the kids come in, go home, I was gone. "Ohhhh you must have been in a deep sleep" then she went on about not hearing from James etc etc any way I finally said "I don't wish to be rude but I really don't feel like talking" she said "Ok give me a call if you manage to go and watch Laura" SUNDAY she phoned in the morning "Are you going?" I didn't know at that time. around lunch time she phoned AGAIN. "Have you made your mind up?" yes I was going "Ok phone me and let me know how it went" up to me walking out of the door I was "I'm going" "No I'm not going" anyway got back and straight away the phone went NOooooo!!!! telephone "Did you go?" on being told yes she admitted she'd phoned a couple of times and I hadn't answered. she phoned yesterday......"Have you been shopping?" I haven't been out "Oh" driving me potty.

Awwww lovely catmilkbowl Bond. I remember when our cat Tim used to jump on the window which meant "Ok let me in" he was a lovely cat used to meet me from school, and when I started work I hoped he wasn't waiting at the bus stop I used when I came from school, but my Gran said he was sitting there when he usually was gone meeting me BUT when I got off the bus from work he was there confused2 and they say animals are dumb.

Cat's over here aren't usually house cats......they don't live outdoors, go out for a couple of hours and then come back. As Buddy used to when he used to visit you and then go off again.

Yes our lot are off......well Matt & Laura, Jack & Lily were off last week.

Finished my book, really good but I'm not keeping. Chose my next book "Starshine" by John Wilcox looks good. a sort of love story set around the 1st World War.

Ahh is that Teddy Bond ,he is cute and looks
a lot like Tabitha only he is a bit more "grey" where
she is a bit darker Tabby
So sounds like he is not a "house cat" then
I do not like them out as they can get so much from
all the "stuff" they get into ,the reason I was glad we
were able to convert Buddy back into a "house cat" even
though he still looks to go outside and I am SURE if someone
left the door open WIDE enough he would be OUT......

So why are the kids off school today then in Bed'uth ?
Yesterday they were off here for "Presidents Day "
Don't kids seem to get a LOT more time off school than we ever did
or is that ME ?

OK so how was everyone's night ? I slept well AFTER Keith
eventually LEFT at 8pm ,and GUESS WHAT ,he is coming back
today at 1:30pm with a PLUMBER friend of his as he is not happy
with the radiator repair he did ,does not think it will hold ,so is
having this guy come fix it ,the funny part is until he removed
the radiator cover and damaged the pipe it has been like THAT
running OK since 1974
What ever he is getting paid must be diminishing fast with all the extra
items he has had to purchase confused2

Waking up to what the "yanks" call FOG this morning which is mostly
along the coast line until 9 or 10am till the sunny burns it off
Its very mild going up to 60f this afternoon ,42f right now

OK so coffee drank ,going to check out my FB account before
having to get Gil up as his occupational therapist will also be here
at 1:30'ish she said ,glad Keith will be DOWNSTAIRS
and tomorrow I will have not only Barbara ,but this therapist
again AND his Physio therapist ,Gil is going to be POOPED

Good morning all from Bedworth yes Bedworth up and out early so the big kids can go to work,
You have got a lovely little tum just right for wobbling. Thanks for the bottle greens Vicky
I needed them this morning
It's funny with money from the government when I left the college before I went self employed I went onto job seekers allowance, not much a week but then when I did go self employed I hat I had received had to go onto my tax return so what little I had I had to pay tax on it confused2
Right let's see what we have what the Bedworth folks have for breakfast
Teddy the cat catmilkbowl has just jumped onto the window sills looking in so I think he wants his breakfast too
Back later

Is it benefit he gets or the pension Margaret.....state pension or private?    if it's a state pension or private Vince could be a millionaire and it wouldn't matter he'd still get it, benefit is different, that's what Bev is on. ....you can only have a certain amount before they would take it from you.  I'm not sure the amount,. Though you say Vince is 100% disabled so he'd get a disability benefit so I don't think they take that away.....though I'm not 100% sure of that, again Bev would know Chris was on disability.

I wondered why you'd taken a sock off and was using your bare foot to roll me up and down under the table while you had your dinner......it's a wonder Mrs B wasn't on the table saying there was a rattle snake somewhere.       Oh btw here's the head warmer.   AND Carole no I can't or WILL NOT do Shake Rattle And Roll ....oh ok then.   :   Shake  rattle and bounce  roll.
