First topic message reminder :

Yes that's her Carole though like you she doesn't spring to mind, just have Marilyn Monroe of pop in my mindI know she had twins Paul & Barry who took up singing but Paul I think it was gave it up and just wrote songs and his brother went solo.....but I couldn't tell you the songs of either the Mum or the twins. I do remember the boys slightly

Yes it was Lily sitting at a table opening one of her Christening presents......this one is Lily getting Christened, hope you can see her ok....and the lady Vicar, who was lovely.

Good afternoon ladies, just Back from a nice pub meal At our new old pub Steaming Billies
Good food but too much of it, I had a nice quarter pounder with cheese bacon and onion topping side salad and French fry s mrsb had warm beef club sandwiches with proper chios and gravy
There was a couple of groups of people in there that had seen the fplay and how good it was and the set was amazing, one lady that I have known for many years through the dramatic society introduced me to her cousin as the man that painted her lounge, a bit of it over the top in the snob league I thought
Afternoo Tea and a slice of cake

Oh Tony saw a lot of the people there Carole, he was a big character Carole, even the Priest said he'd met him for the first time when him and two other colleagues had gone to this pub to have a meal and Tony had come over to introduce himself, we had laughed when he said "Of all places a pub" ...... and he & Julia got around a lot, this country & abroad, and people came to their house to visit them.....he also had belonged to a Golf club and lots of his friends from the club were there, he also had belonged to the Crown Green Bowling club, which is near here, and a lots of his mates from there were in the church (I knew about people from far & wide and the clubs because the Priest thanked them for coming) ALSO people he met in the pubs he went to of course. No I bet there wasn't many people in that church who hadn't met him often. His younger brother gave a good speech about him having a good heart & he'd help anyone in need but he also talked about his bad points.....opinionated, stubborn and that was Tony too we were all nodding at that. I didn't see Maisie or Dean & Paul or the guy with the trilby and his friend who Sylvia and I used to talk to though BUT of course the church was so packed.

Hey Carole I've always said they will only fill one pew when I go..... confused2

You've not said about showing Gil some old photos......they do say that can jog the memory.

Oh well later.

Morning ,I slept in till 615am
after being woken at 330am .....
Any  around then Bond
Please wish Mrs B a  from
me,what a good husband finding something
she liked {under seat flight bag} will you be
much in the future then ?

Always nice to see people wishing a departed
one a good send off ,I always wonder though
how much did they see him while alive ...
I am afraid there will not be many when Gil goes
as he knows so few people here confused2
Same with me I know people on say FB and my old company
but they are all getting on or passed away now a days

OK enough on that dreary subject ...

BRILLIANT sunny  right now streaming through the bay window
as Mr Sun rises in the East ,going to be a decent day weather wise
Carmen came to pick Spencer up last night as he was planning
on staying home with no gas in his car ,I am getting a bit worried
over his mood as this stretches out ,never seen him this depressed

I don't like scary things Vicky so will let YOU  the book

I have a load going in the washingmachine  Blaine brings his
work pants home on Friday so thought I would get them done
while his brother is at Carmen's
Going to sit down and see what I REALLY need at the shopper
as I am SURE I can cut down on my spending THAT way a bit
as with Spencer not able to chip in his % I am going to have to
pick up the slack somehow confused2

Just seen what you asked Vicky about showing Gil pictures
unfortunately his eyes are getting worse was talking about that
with the Dr's PA yesterday as she said his right eye is REALLY bad
but as far as getting it done {cataract} would have to try and
get him to the Dr to see what they say as I can see how much he is NOT
seeing these days reading and even watching the TV
That I guess is my NEXT task

Be back later run run run run

BTW Carole do you show Gil some old photos? It could help.

Hi all, thank you for the good wishes,
It's cold and wet here and the winds picking up
Mrsb had some nice things, clothes vouchers off the big kids but a bucket of strawberry makings and a bucket of sweet peas makings from the little kids
I bought pampering things bath oils, dark chocolate with toasted almonds
And a under the seat flight bag for all her bits and she loved it.
I think it's hot drinks time, the lad will want a bovril when he gets in from football training

 Mrs B. present present present

It's raining here as well......Got Laura, Matthew training.  headball

Read some of my book .....she's driving me mad, it's spooky Carole, but you'd grab your 6 month old baby and get out of there not go....."That couldn't have happened" even when someone in the pub says "I wouldn't have a baby in that cottage" and her best friend stayed the weekend sleeping in the room the baby is going to be sleeping and she doesn't tell her friend what happen during the night to her.  sigh!!!!    talktohand  though of course it would be a short book if she did.  Smile

Later.

Yes Tony was well liked, even though Bev often said "Nobody can stand him you know"  that's not what I saw today and I'll tell her so......nice looking family also, his daughter and granddaughter had come over from Italy, his little grandson Dylan was there as well, lovely little fella.   People from all over came to say bye to him.    Money went to Macmillian Nurses

Ah but Jack doesn't live in Nuneaton Bond.    Oh    is in the Silver Threads Bond.....she goes away with them too, she's also learning how    isn't getting very far.   funnytvprog    sorry I shouldn't laugh but the things she comes out with,   Shocked and NO I'm not helping her she might want to join us on here.

Sorry that things aren't going right Margaret.....keep your chin up,  as for Lorna I'm sure  she'll willingly bring you home.

And things aren't looking too good in your house either Carole.

Oh well I'm off to bed......try to get a good nights sleep everyone.

Hi Marge, that was nice of Paul to buy him out, these homes do seem to favour ladies
The couple that we went into with the Leading Players only had the odd male
that was the same with the church dos again mostly women
Just the odd man doing a bit of maintenance
My dad joined the silver threads a church group and being fit he was the one with loading cases on and off the and buses
Drinks?

Well REALLY move over Marge
as things are not going good right now
here,started to this message
and Keith BLEW a circuit knocking everything
out up here....TV crappc etc
Anyway back on now long story short

Brenda Gil's GP PA just left she is coming
back in 2 mths instead of three as she said
she can see Gil is deteriorating from when she
was here three month ago ,even though his
BP etc is good as she said it is going to be Pneumonia
or something that will take him especially as his throat
and swallowing is getting worse so anything he chokes
on would stay in his lungs and that is how it all starts

His right hand and arm are also getting stiffer and Gil
says he can feel his left starting to go ,so she suggested
having Barbara being as she is so willing to help do a little
massage with his left hand etc as it will get to the point
where it will be so stiff we cannot dress him etc

Spencer once more is fit to be tied as the case he and Carmen
have over the car accident the lawyer is trying to close Spencers'
case as Carmen's will go on for longer as she has more problems
resulting from it .well first the Lawyer asked for $7000 and
they just came back with $1600 to pay the hospital bill and $1000
for Spencer ,but the lawyer takes 33% so Spencer would get nothing
and he was HOPING that would help catch up his bills along with his
income tax refund ,so he is REALLY upset

Anyway I am away as I can only take so much in one day
Back tomorrow

PostSubject: Re: Morning everyone..It's a new week...11/08/2014   Sat Jan 27, 2018 6:28 am

my late FIL moved into a retirement community
in Devon favored by retired ministry types but
after a year could not take the number of
funerals that took place each month or
the fact that the women outnumbered the men!
(lots of tea parties and card games.)
Also the talk was all about the latest gossip or
about the many ills they had.
Peter bought him a little house in the village
and he and Nancy were much happier.

Wish I was happier this morning, another exercise
in futility yesterday. I did not want to go to the DMV
at all but made myself go. Usually Thursday is their
slackest day but not now that all drivers licenses must
be "Real" drivers licenses by 2020 which means that
everyone is trying to beat the rush by being the rush
now!
First off, my eye exam did not include the state of my
cataracts so have to take it back and get it corrected
at the eye place! Only hope it will not cost me another
$25!
Then I was told there are no dates available for drivers tests
for 45 days so I had to take a 60 day extension and to
check back with them when I bring my corrected eye readings back.
The only good thing about it is I don't need to do a
written test, that's at their discretion. confused2
I was in line for 1 hour to get in the place and sat for 4 hours and got
nothing!
It may be July by the time I get my regular license!
I am one of the few people in America who have a US passport it seems.
Less than 40% have active passports over here.
On the due date we will have to show ID (real drivers licenses or
passports) to even get on a domestic flight here.
Its all in the name of security. They would do better to have an
alcohol /drug tester at the boarding gate to stop the impaired
people from getting on a plane to anywhere!

There was an impaired young black man in the DMV while we
were all waiting, who may have been mentally ill and blew up
because he had to pay a fee for something which took his
last $5. He was really off his head shouting and had to be
escorted out of the building. I just hope he is not on the
road driving anywhere near me!
Cannot take Big Red in until Monday and the eye place is closed
on Friday. Am going to bribe Lorna with her favorite treat, Toblerone,
found 4 different flavors at Cost Plus World Market so she will drive me
home after dropping off Big Red and take me back when its ready.

Have a couple of other things to catch up on, which I can do
on the computer.
Its going to a warm weekend here they say.it was cold and blustery
last evening. A lot of dead palm fronds have come down from my tree.
which the gardeners have taken care of (they have to be cut into 4ft
length pieces to fit in the garden waste bin).
Must away, times clicking by here, TTFN

Good evening, hot drinks all round

Nice the funeral wet well and was well attended, he did have have a full and varied life
Yes they do have a junior Dramic club for two or three age groups, the next one the older ones next play is around the first World War, I think I will have a first World War trench to build plus a sitting room, it's a pity as the next play for the adults I'd ladies day at Ascot so the old victorian fireplace from "gas light" will have to come out to possibly go back later, the problems of a setbuilder/painter,
People have used the young Amiture Dramic to start their career in the theatre as there is also a full lighting and sound gallery

Well just got back from the funeral.......just went to the church service didn't go to the burial or cremation which ever it was.   It was a lovely service though, the church was packed in fact some were standing at the back.    David was right he does see Julia some mornings when he's taking Benjie for walks, he wasn't too sure.  Tony had said once that his wife often sees David with Benjie,  she thought he was lovely (Benjie) We didn't speak to Julia, didn't want to hold her up.

Well Spencers car would have to have come out as David's car did when our guys wanted to use our garage.  confused2     That's good having the lights under the cabinets     it'll be brill when it's done.....you'll be pleased.

Pity Jack doesn't live your way Bond when he was in school plays people used to come up to Steve and say "Does he go to drama classes, stage school?" on being told no they said "Well he should" and I think he should, he's just a natural.....when Steve told us he was good and invited us to the first one we'd see.....I couldn't believe how good he was, he really is.   Shame they don't do school plays where he goes to now.

Do you go through old photos with Gil?    That's an idea Carole

Right kids will be here soon..

New avatar .....when we were all taking the dogs a walk in Portishead, it was so windy I borrowed one of Susan's woolly hats.   Matthew, Susan & me.   going down in size. funnytvprog

Brrrrrr   morning Bond pass me my
hot confused1  please ,can feel the cold
this morning 23f /-5c proper temp here but only feels
like 13f / -10c ....they are saying once the sun comes up
it will warm up into the high 30's low 40's and will
not feel as bad as yesterday as the wind will
not be as gusty

Hope everyone had a good night ...always sad when
organizations cannot get enough talent Bond a lot of times
these things do not appeal to the younger generation confused2
another dying art ,but I HOPE not

I saw a glimpse of my OLD husband at 230am
he needed to go pee so standing with the "bottle"
in front of him he leaned his forehead to mine and
said "do I know you " ,I said "yes do you come here
often" I know he is in THERE somewhere ....

OK stay warm I shall return run run run run

Good morning all from Atherstone a bit grey over here and it's said to be a sunny day
Things will be good when it's all done Carole
Atherstone Amiture Dramic Society is not the power that it used to be, they have not been able to put on some plays as the lack of male members, also the lead ladies are getting on a bit so they struggle with plays with young parts
Breakfast and it's Shredded Wheat and warm milk toast and marmalade Coffee tea orange juice and L&L Back later

He never mentioned using our garage
plus if Spencer's car was in it forget it
as it fills the whole space ,and more times
than not of late when over Carmen's he
leaves his car home and she picks him
up and they use hers ....

Showed me the sample of what its going
to look like and instead of using a white
back splash he said its the same as the counters
that will run all the way up under the cabinets
it will still lighten up my kitchen as right now its a nasty
green color
I am also getting under cabinet motion sensor LED lights

And you did a GOOD job as well Bond regards the play

OK large L & L please
New avatar you can see the color what it is now
The white is a stick on paper I did to try and brighten
them up ,as its ALL green
Speak tomorrow

Yes one of Susan's ex boyfriend used to belong to them Bond.....he was supposed to be really good, I know Susan said he had a great singing voice as well, he went with Susan to Dublin for a weekend to meet Anne and they all went to this pub and they were having karaoke and Paul put his name down for a song and Susan had never heard him sing and she was thinking "Oh crumbs what's he doing" when he got up and started singing she was shocked, at the end the pub stood up clapping and cheering him, asking for more, he was really good. Anyway that was her ex boyfriend. Maybe Jack might one day join a am drams'

Ok back later.

Hi Marge its scary to think what
would happen should any of the faults
decide its time to rumble .....so glad
you think your fairly safe where YOU are
As it seems the "Ring of Fire" is pretty active
again .....
Sorry your tummy has been upset ,is it something
that what my Dr gave me samples of "BioGuard"
could help your tummy feel better
maybe you could check it out to see if it would help
you ,just saying ,as its available now over the counter

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about the landlady ,I am
truly surprised  she agreed to what she is doing
Kieth says he has known her many years and feels
she is a "good egg" I have ANOTHER name for her ...

At the rate he is here though as I said it looks like
it will go WAY into next week just for up here ,and then he
has to do the down stairs bathroom ,install a vanity fix the
loo from rocking and paint a space of about 4X6' you would
REALLY not be able to swing a catmilkbowl  around down there

Well not many garages are heated Carole, ours isn't but when our guys needed to cut something but it wasn't the weather to do it they did it in the garage.   What's the top made of?

New avatar is a photo David  took while we were walking the dogs around Portishead where they're thinking of moving to.

Its kind of a water color sky this morning
like the wash you do for the sky with water
colors.
Its about the same temperature as yesterday
but northern California is getting rain now so
who knows. confused2
We did have a 4. something, quake in Orange County
south east of us during the night which was felt
over a wide area but I did not feel it here.

The earthquake faults look like veins running under
the ground so you never know which faults it will run
up. The closest one to us is an ancient one running parallel
to Pacific Coast Highway which runs north and south from
San Francisco to San Diego, If this fault was to let go it
would break Palos Verdes off into an Island and we would
be able to see the ocean! This is how we got most of
our off shore islands like Catalina.
The scientists are now saying that a fault runs directly under
Beverly Hills where they were hoping to built another arm of our
light rail system underground like the tube.
We know that there are natural methane pockets all along that
area left over from oil drilling decades ago.
I think we are fairly safe here locally.

Carole, its sounds like its more than a one man job. I am sure
that when the basics are done it will go quicker.
I think I could have guessed that your landlady was too cheap
to spring for new cabinets.
Gassers cannot take Big Red until next Monday but there is
no rush on that as its registration is not due until early March.
I do need to make an appointment for a field vision test at
the other eye doctors.
The tax statements are arriving so putting them away in a
brown envelope with TAXES written on it.
Did not feel in the mood for dinner out with the ladies last night
so gave it a miss. I do have my meeting tonight so I need to
go up there and open up anyway.
Been having a few tummy issues lately so watching what I eat
for a few days until my gut settles down again.
Its going dark here now as the incoming clouds have blotted out
the sun and the sea mist is rolling in.
Saw video of a pod of Killer whales chasing a seal yesterday right
next to Palos Verdes cliffs. there were about 15 of them (yes, the
seal got away) They show up ahead of the grey whales who go down
to Mexico where they give birth.
Our news helicopters bring us such dire news most times but they
also have "news hounds" who call when something like this happens .
there is a census point up on PV to count the whales as they go by.
They are not usually that close to shore.
Must away, things to do and places to go. TTFN

I know Vicky I AM excited to see it all spic n span
as its been a long time coming and Keith is also
going to move an outlet that was 1/2 hidden all these
years by the stove so it was a wasted outlet that I
would have LOVED to have had next to the stove
when baking etc to plug my mixer into ,as he said
there is not a lot of counter top room anyway confused2
If this was mine I would have redone the whole kitchen
area to the way its set up ,but when you rent you do with
what you have right ?

Yes as Vicky said Break a Bond
be back later

BTW Bond have a square of my Mum's chocolate bar

Hi Bond was just going to say
where was Vicky but I see her
coming in with Marge ,why
are they dancing holding hands ......
did I miss a memo
Keith left to take his daughter to school
and pick up something before coming back
Cleaned behind the stove OH MY
but he said he has seen worse
Looking like this will go into NEXT WEEK
though as he says its too cold to cut the counter
top as he has to miter a corner and he is afraid
it will crack as our weather is too cold for him to cut
it outside ....TOLD you it would be a JOB
This house was built in 1974 we moved here first
in 1986 ,I TOLD him it was not THAT old as he said
he thought it was built in the '60's Angie bought it
in 1987 a little short of a year after we moved in

Be back

Carole just keep saying "When it's done it'll be lovely"   that's what I used to do......and of course when we built over the garage Susan bedroom she was a couple of months old. and then of course as we did more and the kitchen I had the 3 kids all at home.  and one lot of work we had going I was just about to go in the hospital for my hysterectomy  and oh boy I didn't want it to be down around then.....but we did, and I kept flooding ....  oh it was terrible.    Oh I was a wimp in those days.    Anyway you'll get there Carole.

Just keep an eye on things Margaret.

Break a leg Bond for tonight.....it's a good play

Just found an easy apple dish to make on FB
only takes 5 ingredients

2 cups self raising flour
1 cup sugar
3 apples, peeled, cored and diced (1cm)
125g butter or margarine
1 egg

directions

Toss apples with self raising flour and sugar in a medium
mixing bowl.

Melt butter in a small saucepan on the stovetop or in a small
bowl in the microwave. Stir in egg.

Pour butter and egg into the apple mixture and mix until combined.

Spoon into a greased and lined slice tin.

Bake at 180 C / 350f #4 gas for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top
is golden brown and a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Keeps for about 3 days.

Going to make this WHEN my kitchen is MINE again

Exactly Bond ,as Spencer said
last night when he came home to see what
Kieth had done ,Angie should have REPLACED
all the cabinets ,but he told her they were still in
"good shape" well guess what after 50+ yrs he
can see they are NOT ,so he is gluing joints where
the draws etc are coming apart and scrubbing them
down but said he can see the finish is coming off so
will end up having to give them a coat of stain and varnish
before he's finished ....a much bigger job than he anticipated headbanger

Have fun then today ,its REALLY chilly here today 13f at 5am
and going down as the WIND increases ,but dry at least
Then ANOTHER warm up over the weekend ,this is playing
havoc with all that ice in the rivers freezing then thawing

OK so its GOOD MORNING MARGE MORNING VICKY
hope you both had good nights
I came out at 10 to get Gil said he wanted to watch the end
of a movie he was watching that finished at 11pm ,so I went
back into bed and must have fell to sleep as the next thing I knew
he was SCREAMING my name as he was peeing himself Mad
I do not know whats going on as he seems to also wait till the
LAST MINUTE he has to go lately ,all the things this Corticobasil
is causing ,forgetting HOW to eat {smaller bites etc} waiting too
long to ask for the loo and his swallowing I can see is getting worse
Have to mention that to the Dr's PA when she comes tomorrow
for his 3mth check up ,its like he cannot clear his throat properly
ANOTHER reason he MUST take smaller bites headbanger
Anyway enough moaning on my part
Back later run run run run whoops almost forgot my confused1 run run

Mad Mad Mad  OH my OH me ,he has only
done as far as the stove, imagine a #
7 the top of the 7 is where my fridge and
stove are then its the sink and dish washer
a total of only 10' in length on the longest part
Says tomorrow he will be here at 9am and looking like
there will be another 6 hrs of scrubbing the cabinets
and has to pull the oven out to clean behind it
and also wants to take the Microwave down that
sits over the stove so he can give that a good steam clean
as being where it is it gets the most grease on it and no
matter if you wipe it down it gets the splatters etc from cooking
under it Rolling Eyes  you would think it had never been cleaned
in forty years Shocked
So its looking like at LEAST until FRIDAY maybe longer
Your right Vicky if Gil was not like he is it would not
be so bad ,just trying to make him a was an adventure
as he had put everything I normally have on top of the counter
into plastic cartons he had brought in ....

Marge you can only do what you can do right ?

Anyway I am showered and cannot wait to go under
my duvet did not get a lot of Sleep  last night that was
for sure
Speak tomorrow xx

Vicky, we have to wire the money into Melanie's
bank account as that is the quickest way to get
it to her, a check takes about 3 days otherwise
if I pay the medical facility directly I have to
have her give me the address and send it to them.
I have told her what will happen if she fudges
the amount needed. I will go back to sending it
to the place its owed to directly.
I have set some limits on her already so now
will see how she handles them before adding
others. Too many at the same time are
harder to deal with for a recovering addict.
I can tell her I am more comfortable going back
to the old way until we see how Jim does.
I will talk to Ian about it as well so will see what
he thinks.

talktohand  Oh I know what it's like having the kitchen done....and the mess and having to get take a ways ....pizza or fish & chips etc   of course I wasn't dealing with a sick husband.

We've had various things done to this house throughout the years.....each time I've said "Never again" but confused2 and ok it's great when it's finished but during the job oh boy, so I do know how you are babe.

You should get it all down on paper Bond or of course  years from now your family, grandkids, might ask "What did Great Granddad on granddads side do?" and they'll be able to find out from you, what you've .......David's Dad wrote all about his Mum & Dad, Grandparents, Great Grandparents, Great great grandparents, it's really interesting reading.....I should write my story down.

Hello Marge ,so glad you spoke to Melanie
after all she has been through I would hate
to see you not have a relationship with her
SO lets all hope Jim gets his head out of his
butt sooner than later and gets the help he needs

Well my kitchen looks like a cyclone has hit it
Keith did not turn up till 12noon after I called him
asking where he was at 1030am as he DID say 10am
Barbara gave Gil a shower but not until 10am as
after he told me he wanted one when she arrived at 9am
he CHANGED his mind saying he wanted to sleep another
hour
Anyway seems the steam machine was not what Keith ordered
so he has had to re order the one he wanted ,so today he first
vacuumed all the cabinets off and now is wiping them down
with a de-greaser as there is 40+ years of build up on them
PLUS the cabinets are in worse condition than he thought so
tomorrow he has to glue them up where they need it and
said its looking like he will also need to re-stain them as with washing
them today its taking the stain off of them confused2
He is also bring in the counter top but that will be the last thing he does
up here but its looking like MORE than a couple of days ,and seeing every
thing upside down like it is is doing my head in
Had to put Gil's head phones on as there is no way he would have
been able to hear the TV with the noise he was making headbanger
No way I could get to the stove to cook dinner ,so ordered out
from Wee Wah Gil's having Shrimp Chow Mein I am having Golden fingers

OK Bond roll them drinks out lad
Nessie and Benjie are both beautiful looking dogs

Now lets look in all these fridgefood to see what goodies
we can muster up

Do you pay to the company direct Margaret and not into Melanie's Bank? That way you know where the money is going.

Seems I lost my post again but never mind.
I did talk to Melanie last evening while
Jim was at one of his meetings. He gets picked
up by his sponsor so he does not have time to
go off on his own anywhere.
Its going to be a one day at a time for now as
Jim is gradually coming out of the effects of the
Tranquilizers he took over Xmas.

We have to wait until he is in a better place
emotionally before they can talk him into getting
a medical diagnoses for the condition he is trying
to take care of with sheer willpower.
Melanie swears she did not know he was hiding
left over meds, "Just in case".
She said she tried so hard to get him to seek treatment
for what is some underlying condition but he did not
want to hear it so she stopped beating her head on a
brick wall and let him get on with it as she had her own
health to take care of last year.
She is getting stronger by the day so hopefully the PIC
line for supportive feedings will not be needed soon.

She was calling me to let me know she has had a bill for
her copay not covered by her insurance. Its about $600
but I cannot not pay it as it could mean she could have
the bill collectors at the door and losing the house for
non payment
I did tell her that speaking and acting in a truthful way
is a big part of her program. So lets not have anymore
excuses or downright lies to cover for Jim.
I explained about dealing with Vincent, another recovering
addict who cannot remember half his life because he was
thrown out of his family for violent behavior.

He is still dealing with flash backs to isolated memories
and is trying to make sense of them. I tell him what I can
without lying about anything but I cannot tell him other
things that might trigger him off. I am taking it one
step at a time.
I know he is trying to get his mothers
jewelry back but I will not give him what I was given
personally by his father. He won't understand that it
was given to me to pass on to Melanie and that she will
pass it onto Ian's wife.
He gets a monthly allowance from what was his fathers
estate and that will continue as that is what Peter wanted.
(Vince was written out of his fathers will).
As you can see. a lot more going on here than meets the eye.
Time to get to work here got things to da and places to go.

Hi all, Nessie is a lot darker than Benjie almost black and tan.
We have just done the big shop on the fridgefood is full, 1:00 must be a good time to go to Aldi the car park was only 3/4 full, usually your looking for a space
Talking of bed warming have I ever told you About my great uncle? He was in the antique business, and he got hold of a load of copper warming pants but they were just the flat pans no wooden ones handles so he and my Dad made and fitted wooden Broom handles that with a bit of work, stain and polish with a loop of leather thong to hang them on the wall with they sold for four times what he paid for them,
I must find the paper clipping of him buying a sedan chair, I think the photo is of him in it and two men carrying him
I never met him and my dad never spoke of him only he had a long scar from a cockspur from the days of cockfighting. I think my brother knew of him, and he moved his business from Liecester to Blackpool,

TEA LATER!!!!!!!   huh I'll get my own,   Oh hi Carole you in the kitchen too.....I know no  or   not even the  on.    talktohand  THOUGH he did do us some breakfast.....and my bed was lovely and warm.  Better than any water bottle.

Not sure about a PM Carole I've got 2 but they could be from you or Bond......or my BOSS.   I should really polish his desk.....inch of dust the last time I  shimmed  shook.

Went to do the food shopper  shopping, not a nice day to be doing it .....  it down.....and my brolly blew inside out, luckily it's one which just goes back normal, but I couldn't walk with it up the wind would just have blown it inside out again.  Luckily I had decided to put my woolly hat on as well.  My hair is still looking ok.

I've still got a tickle & a headache but I am better than I was.

Hope you start to feel better and I so hope things go well with Gil......explain to him it's only for a short while.

Later.......oh finally I finished my book about George the third & his family......he loved his family, but he loved them too much......he wanted them to only marry into a royal family, and that was the boys, only the prince regent decided himself  that it was time to marry and he, not the King,  looked around and plunked for Caroline of Brunswick, the King was delighted, though the Queen had heard not very nice things about her, very crude sort of person and wasn't chaste, well she was but not that sort of chaste, but she never told him the king had spoken loved the idea so the marriage went ahead......and the prince hated her.  Another son got married but didn't ask the king for permission and so the King wouldn't have anything more to do with his son even when his wife had a son, but it's his daughters who were treated worse......they had to stay with their parents only Princess Royal (the eldest daughter)  finally could take no more and begged her father to let her marry......the other daughters had to wait until they were late 30's or even middle 40's until they married, the parents couldn't bare to have the girls leave them (Queen Victoria was slightly the same, she hated her daughters leaving her and the youngest never did).......and that was because the Queen wouldn't allowed them to, the King by then was in la la land.   Interesting book

Ah there you are Bond.......hope you were careful with my greek figure?

New avatar is Nessie at Christmas.

WOT ya mean no tea or coffee YET
Boy its something when one has to get your
own  in the morning ...stands with hands
on hips pouting ......

Ahhh look at that the "Phantom poster" paid us
another visit yesterday at 556pm ,must have heard
you were not feeling well Vicky  did
he leave you a PM
Silly sod not posting publicly any more

Well the temp dropped as promised and with the gusting wind
we have black ice around this morning so watch-a your step please
So we are once again back in "winter" mode until the weekend
when they say the temps will rise once more ...wheeee like
a roller coaster
They have three coast guard cutters now trying to break up
the ice jams on the two rivers here ,CT has never seen anything
like it ....

Blaine in the shower  right now then Spencer will be getting up
for his 830am appointment at the unemployment  job office
Next Barbara should be here at 9am and then the guy at 10am
to start the kitchen

Hope your feeling improved Vicky ,I had to get up at 1am and
take a pain pill as the pain in my hip/left leg would not let me
fall to sleep ,then Gil woke me at 3am calling out saying
Carole come on lets go {he wanted to pee} so I am afraid
I am not feeling my best this morning and would probably
have gone back to bed had no one been coming tired

Anyway will just say
GOOD MORNING MARGE MORNING VICKY   back later
