First topic message reminder :

Yes that's her Carole though like you she doesn't spring to mind, just have Marilyn Monroe of pop in my mindI know she had twins Paul & Barry who took up singing but Paul I think it was gave it up and just wrote songs and his brother went solo.....but I couldn't tell you the songs of either the Mum or the twins. I do remember the boys slightly

Yes it was Lily sitting at a table opening one of her Christening presents......this one is Lily getting Christened, hope you can see her ok....and the lady Vicar, who was lovely.

Your right I wouldn't of thought it had been that long but when you really think of it of course it was, I remember the area being developed and the college innervation centre being opened, I still worked at the college at the time,
There was a NHS advert about about the spreading of a sneeze on a bus it went yards and cloaked everything in its path
Your right about Nicky, this one's go e back to the USA, I think she will end up with Jack

It was opened 1999 so not that new Bond......though you wouldn't think it was that old. 19 years. And in the afternoon they don't have that many in.....stop making excuses for BUT it's true you don't know who's been sitting in that seat and the cleaners will just hoover around.....those germs last.....oh I don't know how long but LONG. I'll have a tea please. Have you noticed if anyone starts seeing Nicky they're either a bad one and get carted off to jail OR they end up being murdered.

I suppose the Cinema now looks clean as it's new nor like the old cinemas, the Scala in Nuneaton used to smell of brasso and fags
Getting ready to watch silent witness part two, like Vera there as been that many red herrings even mrsb can't guess the murderer
Right tea coffee L&L and a Maltesers drink

That's why I suggested Gil staying in Spencers place Carole, will Spencer be around on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Carole?   he could help Gil down the stairs, and Gil wouldn't need to go back up until the guy knocked off for the day and Spencer or Blaine could help then to get him back upstairs.  It's only for a couple of days Carole and if it's to help Gil   confused2  we don't want him throwing a paddy not in his state of mind.    Ok you'll have to stay with him but you do that anyway......leave the man to it.

I've just had some chicken & mushroom soup ....had a quarter of it.

Hello again
Glad to see you back on Vicky
There is a lot of the nasty flu
going  around so hope your not
coming down with something ,and
Marge has a good point about the movie houses
so there's your excuse

It's not that Spencer would object Vicky
just not a good idea and remember Barbara
Will only be here Wednesday and Friday
and this guy Marge is someone my landlady
knows and will be working on his own so have
no idea yet how long he will be working each day
or how long all this is going to take ,then after he has to do
the 1\2 bath down stairs
I know I have to suck it in if I want the work done ,it's
Gil who has to realize that as he does not like change to
His routine
Anyway have taken an early shower as I looked like I had been pulled
through a hedge backwards
Made my chicken stir fry and watching a Ton Hanks movie from 2002
Is Bond back yet

Yes the skirt is nice, I've worn it a couple of times before, once when I went to the pub with Sylvia.

I think you might be right about the BP medicine Margaret.....my blood pressure was fine so it could be my medicine.   I don't take one of my BP pills, that was making me throw up, I was sick while in the hospital, & on drips, which before I'd been just fine,  but all they kept saying was "What have you eaten?"  and looking at me sternly .....after I got home and found out I'd lost 6lb in the week I'd been in hospital MY doctor looked at the pills I was taking and said "Stop taking those" I did only to be told when I went back to the hospital a couple of days later for my first check up the Consultant said "You have to take these tablets" he then said he'd write a letter to my doctor telling him I had to take these tablets, so back on them I went and.....was sick again, went to a different doctor at my surgery and straight away he said " It's these tablets stop taking them now"  so I have.....the consultant won't like it but tough.

Oh thanks Margaret you're right about cinema's......never thought of that,  oh well she'll have to ask one of her other friends.  Veronica used to go with her often, don't know what happened.....she obviously got fedup.  But you're right you never know who's been sitting in that seat, coughing, cough into their hands and wipe them on the arm rest, and if you have someone near to you coughing & sneezing  confused2  well.  talktohand  and at the moment I feel I'm up for any germ to invade.

PS Vicky in a flu epidemic the worst place you can go is a
Cinema or theater. Cinema's are the dirtiest places as
they don't clean them often enough even though they
look clean, they are full of germs.

They have some really big earthquakes in Alaska
and this one was first thought to be an 8.4 but
downgraded to a 7.9.(that's big enough to do real
heavy damage here about's . )
it was centered deep in the ocean off Kodiak Island
so that's why the tsunami alert. Parts of the coastline up there
are at sea level like the beaches south of us. Torrance is
at about 12 feet above sea level but further south its even
lower and is in danger of flooding even from regular winter
high tides.

Been working my way through more paperwork so got the
AAA questionnaire filled out and the registration for BB done
so those go in the mail today.
Decided that the donation requests for Peter can just go in the
recycle bin and the only ones I want to join are AARP and
National Geographic. I love their monthly magazine along with
the Smithsonian magazine.
They are in demand at the imaging center where they also
do radiation cancer therapy. They usually have Hollywood
gossip magazines or car magazines so the ones I take there
go quickly. I just took a bunch up to Melanie's with me so
she can distribute them at her local medical center after she
has read them.
Still no word from them both but I am not obsessing about it
as its not my problem unless they make me part of it.
Then watch out!!
Poor Tabbitha has been spitting up lately so had to do a
search of the carpet in the front room with paper towels and a
spray bottle of animal stain remover. Most of its because she
keeps grooming Jagger and I cannot find a way to stop her.
They have to go in for their annual check up when I am finished
with the cars and the DMV. They will probably tell me to include
some more oil in her diet.
They both hate Petromalt which is the usual treatment for this.
I think they were given a lot of it when they were first rescued so
associate it with nasty things happening.

I also think you might be having some effects from the blood pressure
meds as I get them occasionally too, Vicky.

Not much you can do when you have to take the opportunity as it comes
or it won't get done at all, Carole. Its not as if they will be running a jack-
hammer in the kitchen and there will be breaks from the noise.
Ikea did mine in two days . One to tear out all the old cabinets and paint
the walls and the next day the new cabinets were installed.
I only have a galley kitchen so not a lot of work anyway.
Next on the list has to be the plumbing so going to track one down as soon
as I can.
Today is sunny again and its 55f right now ,going up to 72f for a high today
and a low of 47f tonight, it stands at 41% humidity at the moment. Its a
little hazy at the moment but that will burn off soon.
Going to get a shower and some breakfast and call the Gasser Garage to see
if they can fit me in today.

No BP was fine Carole. there is a bug going round though. confused2 ......I'll have a weak then please Bond.

Well I'm sure Spencer would put up with his Dad being in his place for just one day wouldn't he Carole......have you asked him? And you could go down there to be with him, has Spencer got a loo downstairs? When Spencer comes home the guy most likely has finished for the day so he could help Gil come back upstairs.....OR Barbara could help. confused2

Been watching "Call the midwife" it's now 1962 the coldest weather on record .....crumbs I remember that. slip sliding to work and of course no central heating in those days.....brrrrr.

just telephone "How are you?" on being told much better thanks "Oh well maybe we could go tomorrow to see 'The Darkest Hour' ?" I told her maybe next week.

Oh dear that was my next thought
"I hope Vicky is not ailing'' That sounds
like your BP again and you seem
to have been doing so well of late confused2

As to Gil going DOWN to Spencer's room nono
nope that would not be a good idea as we would
have to get him up and down the stairs number one
and if Spencer is home he would be in bed #2
No Gil will just have to have his ear phones on
so he can block out any noises this guy will be
making ...

Its REALLY raining right now so glad I went out early
the temps going to rise to around 51f but looking outside
it LOOKS RAW ....so pop the back on Bond
although I will still take my L & L please
Think I will be making chicken stir fry today ,its always a
big hit

Heard from Wendy said everything is all in one room
the large pieces of furniture they are donating to charity
and also one "tea set " and books to the National Trust
so have no idea what they are ,but asked her could they not
sell them as they might be worth £ £ confused2
The kitchen is cleared all except for the stove ,fridge-freezer
and the kettle that they are using to make a hot drink while
cleaning stuff out ....and the other rooms as well so they
have done well just her and Derek

OK now Vicky you get that sorted what ever it is talktohand
as we cannot have you MIA again
Speak soon ......
MORNING MARGE they cancelled the Tsunami warning I see

Hi gang......well I didn't got to the cinema yesterday, I wasn't feeling too good, light headed and sleepy.....sat on the sofa and  easychair  and that's not me, I never drop off   confused2  and I couldn't eat.   Went off to bed and I was out like a light until the evening, but I was still light headed & couldn't eat.   I'm still a bit weak ......very odd.

Awwww how sweet Bond......Susan had 2 little ones and 3 big ones.

Maybe your Dad Carole had said to June to not stay alone, he wanted her to remarry.  Some men, and women, don't want their partner to stay alone.   confused2    I can't see the problem......David's Dad & Anne never married because both their families (Not David & me though)  was against them remarrying .....I thought it was unfare, and the grown up children were only thinking of themselves.

Couldn't Gil go and sit in Spencers place while the work goes on?

That's a film I was dragged off to see Margaret "Victoria & Abdul"  hated it......like you I've also seen clips of the "Churchill" film but unlike you I just don't fancy seeing it.   Everyone says it's brilliant but it's not for me, I might like it when I've seen it   confused2 .     Anyway got away AGAIN going to the cinema.....though being ill is not the way I want to go to get out of it.      Yes I wish I could just say no.....I'm strong enough to say no to cigs or drugs .....but when someone phones and says "Would you?"  I hate saying "No"

Oh well might be back.

I'll have a glass of water please Bond.

Hi Carole, I can just make you out, are they red knickers you ate waving or a warning flag?
I managed a hour out on the garden there's some buds a popping and daisies on the lawn, I told her to get up that she would get her dress wet
I came in as it was wet in the air but now the sun's out
So it's batten down the hatches over so I'll make a brew and warm up the last of the mini apple pies made with our own apples last year

Morning BOND ,BOND can you see me
only a 1/4mile visibility here in Bridgeport
this morning at 5am AND LOOK OUT MARGE
8.2 Earthquake in Alaska in the sea close
to Anchorage that they are now watching
for any signs of a Tsunami along the west coast
of California and Hawaii, they just said it raised
a buoy 32ft so could see some large waves affraid

Now what's ailing Vicky thought she would have
been in by now with all the news

We are waiting on the and WIND
and THUNDER and LIGHTENING for later so I had better
get out early to run for Gil's scratch offs ....his Jag
marker number came out last night backwards 9-2-1
had we played it would have been $42 for a buck

I see the "idiot" signed a short bill allowing the Government
to reopen and run until Feb 8th ,all but 18 Democrats
voted for it and the two Democrats in CT voted NO
as they said it was a BAD bill ...so unless they sort out
a better deal in the next two and a half weeks there
will be ANOTHER Government shut down then

OK Spencer just came home in Carmen's car ,he's going to
get blood work done as when he went to the Dr's Saturday
they did not tell him to fast so the DR's office could take the
blood there
Said he will be home tonight as he has the meeting at unemployment
tomorrow to go to

Have yet ANOTHER washingbasket in the washer .....
Back later run run run

Morning Marge ....for some reason unless its
a REALLY compelling movie and unless its on
at a decent time of day {nothing after 7pm}
I tend to Sleep funnytvprog

I am sorry to hear your daughter has not responded
drugs/drink can do such terrible things to a persons mind
and her and Jim have SO MUCH to thank you for Mad

Hope the car passes this time ,I always run mine up on the
highway before getting my emissions test done ,per orders
from my son ....

Weather today is to say the least "dismal " although not
cold and with the rain coming in its not the day for HAPPY THOUGHTS
so guess Gil saw this and refused to get up when Barbara came
even to have a bed bath .....he just got up at 12:15pm
so I ended up washing his face hands and arm pits and got him
dressed ,while she made his tea and brought him the sarnie I
made him earlier and made our bed
While I went to get three refills from the pharmacy she cleaned the cabinets
under the sink out for me so that tomorrow when the guy comes all he
has to do is take the items out and put into boxes that he says he is bringing...

Thanks for the info Bond two big two little ,♪ here comes the bride ♪

WE ladies LOVE to know ALL the details

Well wonder how Vicky found the movie ...bet had popcorn funnytvprog

Patriots deserved to win, coming back the way they did
at the end of the game like that.

Accidentally saw a program on our public TV station in LA
yesterday, it was called Time Scanners and it was how
Christopher Wren designed St Paul's Cathedral.
Using all the latest technology they were able to "see"
inside the walls how the great dome is held up and
how a bomb during WW2 had exploded in mid air inside
the Cathedral instead of the cellar which had been
believed for a long time. I was glued to my TV I can tell you.
Christopher Wren was a genius!
It seems they are scanning other historic places all over the
world.

See that one of Andrews girls has announced her engagement
to her long time sweetheart.
She will keep her title of princess but has no stature in
in the royal family business.

Still no word from Melanie or Jim at this point and our
parallel programs dictate that they make amends for
all the wrongs they have done to me over the money
I have given them to help pay the medical bills.
I now doubt that some of it was used in the way it was told
me it would be used.
I am going to get the truth one way or another before they get
another penny!
That's the trouble with addicts, its too easy to slip into old
behavior when there are $$$ involved.

Watched "Dunkirk " on my VOD feature last week end and was
disappointed. It could have been so good but lost the drama
and story line for the effects. It was based on a true story of
one "Little Ship" (one of the first to respond ) but that was
mangled so badly that no one would know that.
I also watched "Victoria and Abdul" and had the same reaction,
taking a small event in Victoria's life and spinning it into a
soap opera. I was NOT amused!
The Masterpiece Theatre presentation on TV of "Victoria" is
much better done but gets a little lost in places.

Cannot wait for "Churchill" as what I have seen of the trailers seems
to bode well for the final product.

Its back to the grindstone for me this morning, I have to phone the
service station that I have to take Big Red to for a tune up.
Its called Gassers Garage! Two brothers who come highly recommended.
Then its back to the smog place to have it tested again .
Its my fault, I should have taken it in for a tune up before taking BR in,
I thought as it was working OK before Xmas , it should be OK now.
My mistake. It should pass the second time, this has happened in the past.

I need to take the registration of BB to the post office so it gets to Sacramento
on time. Then its full press on the DMV tests ,both written and driving.

Yes exactly Bond ,but you can just make
out the signature mustache of the era
I did try to fix it but cannot as you said
its in a bad spot ,upsetting as its the only
one I think I was given ,although my memory
tells me there was another one of Nan and him
at the kitchen table one day will have to look in
my old pictures when I have nothing else to do

Ahhh yes Vicky got co-horsed into going to see a movie
she did not want to go to with ,I heard it was a good film
we have to train Vicky how to say NO talktohand I do
not care to go THANKYOU rollingpin

Well looks like Gil is in rare form AGAIN ,so wish me luck
as he is I think trying to put ME in the bin

Hi Carole, that's a pity the damage is where it is! If had been higher or a lot lower it could of possibly digitally repaird but it's straight across his features
Ha ha yes always things to do
I don't know if Vicky is going to the pictures? I think know she was asked? They are saying it's a very good portrayal of Churchill as the actor looks nothing like him

This is my Nan and Grandad Osborne
{Dad's Mum and Dad} but the picture
got damaged right across Grandad's face
but I thought he looked a bit like Bonds
picture ,I think it was the tash
the other lady standing is my step mother June
dads third wife ,who informed me on meeting her after
her and Dad came to Coventry to court to end my child
allowance in 1960 that he had been paying {all of 10/- a week} back
then, that she did not believe in young marriages
She was very opinionated and was not happy I came back
into Dad's life me thinks
She used to go on saying how Dad was the LOVE of her life
and yet with in 12 mths of him passing away SHE REMARRIED
,my 1/2 sister Dawn was SO MAD and did not speak to her
for MONTHS or the man she married
Well they are ALL dead now as June died and of course my sister
4 yrs ago aged 54

nose to the grind stone I see then funnytvprog
Ah well guess it keeps you out of trouble @

Mild here this morning {37f right now} at 5am
and looks like we had a dash of the wet stuff over night
as the decks wet ,LOTS of tomorrow night
though with even warmer temps they are saying...

Been awake on and off most of the night coughing confused2
not sure if I am sick or the results of my throat acting up
The guy called me at 8pm last night to say he would be over
TODAY affraid I said but you said Wednesday ,so he said oh
yes OK ,as he had been sick and I told him I did not want him
here with Gil bringing any germs ,so he said he is all better now
and would then be over at 10am Wednesday have to clear everything out
from under the sink and that is what he is starting with plus doing
two electrical outlets that are on either side bringing them up to code
as it seems they are not confused2
And will be doing the cabinets ,the counter top he had to have cut
to size is 10ft long and would be picking it up that day as well
I can hardly wait Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
talktohand I AM excited they are getting done at last after all these
years ,but its having Gil like this sitting a few feet away that is NOT going
to be the fun part ,and I cannot hang him up anywhere can I headbanger

OH well another day dawns so I shall away ...but I will be back run run

Been watching "Vera"  well I had everyone but that teacher as the murderer.

Oh I love Coombe Abbey Bond.......Steve & Claire had never walked along the corridors before.....when you're just in the restaurant you don't find yourself wondering about, though of course we have because we've stayed there twice, so it was lovely to watch Steve & Claire's faces.....Steve was also taking photos with his mobile not of the family but of the tombs and the chairs etc. Jack was saying "Is this all real?" knocking on the stone walls I had to tell him the history.

Well got another busy  day tomorrow and I'm  tired  so it's nighty night, speak tomorrow.

Well had a brill day......we had a room to ourselves, the library .....of course Jack, who's book mad, was "Look at all those books"  and the fireplace   "Look at the size of that fireplace you could stand in it, put your head up the chimney"    then of course he was wondering if there were any secret passages I told him I often wonder that as well and that in a place like that I expected so.      Dawn was telling us when she did some photography at  Kedleston Hall (she did photography for a number of days during her College work)   and she was shown some of the secret passages.   Jack was all agog.   She once was walking down the long drive when a car pulled up and the lady driver said  "Hop in I'll give you a lift" Dawn got in with all her    etc and was  :driver:  up the drive they nattered to to the doz but only realised after the car had been driven off with Dawn waving bye to the lady driver to be told when she walked in Lady Scarsdale had just given her a lift to the house.

We even had David's name and that today was his birthday  on the menu.

Susan and Matt & Nessie have gone home.....Dawn's also going home tonight.

Anyway it was lovely though the weather was wet.....forget the skates we all needed flippers.

Wonder if those who voted for Trump feel stupid?  and would they vote for him again?

As you say Bond they certainly got the weather wrong  the last couple of days.....  it wasn't supposed to snow today      confused2

Brilliant news that Sara's got her wedding dress Bond.     We just have to get the Mum's sorted out next.

Oops I could of brought a doggie bag back .....sorry.

Oh telephone  half the way through this..

New avatar is Benjie at Christmas once again laying on the back of the sofa.

Morning Marge ,my you sound very
motivated today lady
And that "to do" list seems to be getting
smaller
Did you get in touch with Melanie ...I see
she has been on FB a couple of times

And Bond well done Sara cheers ,see they
say that special ,dress -man or what ever is
OUT THERE somewhere waiting on a person
how many flower girls is she having then ?
I am assuming she is having bridesmaids do you
know how MANY confused2

Well Spencer finished his car ,so I popped to the car wash
for a quickie outside only car wash for my 4x4 mainly
just to get the grime off of it ,no matter that its going to
Tuesday ,it NEEDED the soap on it so its
ALL "purdy" now

Just threw together some stuffed green peppers
also have some seafood that I will make into a salad
Not sure yet what I will need to do with the guy coming
Wednesday to start the kitchen I know he wants to start
doing the cabinets and make it so I cannot cook midday
as I normally do ,and then when he removes the sink to
do the plumbing I am going to go as I will not
be able to get to make any tea OR DINNERS ,so hoping it all goes
smoothly
At least Barbara will be here Wednesday and Friday to give a hand

So pass the LARGE L & L please Bond as my team
the New England Pat's are getting ready to play the Jag's
as we are down to the last 4 teams the winners will play
in the SUPER BOWL cheers cheers

LETS GO PAT'S
......................5 times Super Bowl Champions

A bit late on parade this morning as Ian called
me. It was just to check in on me to see how I was doing
as he has been a bit busy himself (not acting though).

We talked about Melanie and Jim a little and he sees that
I need to clarify my position and set limits on what I
will give them money for in the future.
I really need to get all the plumbing looked at and the
sewer line cleaned out and a new Garbage disposal put in
sooner rather than later.

Caught up on my grocery shopping on Friday and the
laundry on Saturday so today its a few paperwork items.
I can send in the registration for BB with a check and
notify some of Peters many charities that he has passed away
so please take him off your automatic contact rolls.
If I still continue to get mail from them, its going in the bin!

I have to renew a subscription to National Geographic and AARP
but the rest can get along without my donations.

Mostly sunny here, current temp is 55f with 65f forecast high
later. Its a low of 45f tonight and humidity stands at 47% right now.
We did have a few light showers locally but not enough to even use
the windscreen wipers for.

had a banana sandwich for breakfast as my tummy feels in need
of something plain to eat this morning. Had a big mug of tea and
going to have another right now. TTFN

Hi all, well Sara has the wedding dress, Sara and the mums went to Swadlincote to a small wedding boutique and there it was, and strange the lady at the shop is known to Sara as she sends the brides and maids to the shop to get their underwear for the dresses,  so only they know the colour and the cut, I have seen the little flower girls dresses
It's turned to rain here now but that's better than ice
Drinks and hot drinks here I think and a large L&L in the fridgefood

Well I am back ,before I left Mr Bourne
informed me that he wanted a shower
as he "stinks" confused2 how he came
to THAT conclusion is beyond me as he gets
washed every day that he does not have a shower
Anyway this is certainly starting to affect his brain
as he now says when I have told him WHERE I
am going "where have you been ? when I get back
and that I was gone a LONG time ,even though I
was not headbanger
This morning I told him I had to go shopper
his reply he did not CARE where I went ,and something
else that he mumbled that I could not understand the way
his speech is getting headbanger
Got home and managed to get him in the shower
but its like talking to a three yr old asking him to SIT
down on the bath stool as I do not trust him to hold
on the shower bars while I turn on the water ,then its
YELLING about his eyes saying there is soap in them even
though I have washed rinsed and dried his face Rolling Eyes
I think I am going to go before much longer

Anyway besides all that looks like Vicky got out ,so will have
to wait on her report to find out what she wore etc

Nice outside right now here ......

Spencer is home washing some of the salt off his car
as he cannot afford to take it to the car wash like he
normally does and the stuff they throw on the roads
eats your paint and under parts away .....
He is already fretting about his meeting with unemployment
on Wednesday ,lets hope they have something he can train for
as I think he will DRIVE HIMSELF NUTS very soon ,so that
will be TWO in the house

BOND drinks please going to call the Dr Monday to get an appointment
for myself as this what ever is going on down my throat is a bit better
but not right Mad

Back later ...chat among yourselves ...who ME ? err yes OK

Morning Marge ,your right but its not true
today "Red skies" as its now up to 46f here
'in Bridgeport at 1:40pm ,and nothing bad
happening weather wise until the rain on Tuesday
that we can handle no sweat ,although the towns
that have all that ice on the rivers will be holding
their breaths as it melts the ice blockages ,lots
of pilings and such going to be damaged as they
are entrenched right now in thick ice, even cars
got caught in the flooding and then froze and cannot get
them out ...

Yes your right about the "fat cats" too bad THEY do not
get their pay checks frozen as well
As you know Gil and I are still "aliens " and all our kids
were until Gil came back over in '96 and Tracie was the only
one who was able to give up her citizenship and became
a citizen in order to petition to get her Dad back here
as naturally his alien card from back in the '60's was no longer
valid after 25 yrs and she was the only one who could do
it being over 21 and a blood relative ....I never thought about
giving up my green card in fact to me it was ,during our break up
and divorce like my "life line" talktohand don't ask me why
so we now have to pay the consequences with such large
amounts in order to renew our cards
When I was divorced and had to do it I remember it only cost
$70+ to do it ,now its almost $700 ....but a
bit late now to think about giving it up confused2
and the only thing as you know in not being a is I cannot
vote for idiots like Trump ....pay my SS etc just like any other
US citizen in my case since 1970 when I started work here and which
gave me 32 yrs after being laid off from US Baird ,+ the couple
of years AFTER that I had to work at what ever I could find before
applying for my SS as I was only 59 when I got laid off and as
you know Marge over here we have to be 62 in order to get
your Government pension so had to fill in two years before I could apply
and in being laid off when I did I lost a lot of full time income
that made my final amount a lot less had I worked until I was
65 yrs and 10 mths which is what I was supposed to do ,{my three
have to work to 66/67 + yrs now} before they can retire with
a full pension ...ah well as I say what you never had you don;t miss

Vicky please tell Susan and Matt not to make a mess in "MY ROOM"
you know how I keep it so spic n span duster

So what did you decide to wear color wise I mean ?

Why do you let TALK you into doing things you
would rather NOT DO nono

BTW I have lost a little over 15lbs now

Back later

You know what they say about red sky in the morning,
Shepherds warning.
Its crystal clear here this morning bright sunny
but on the cool side at 55f with 47% humidity.
High for today will be 63f and the low tonight will be
43f. there is a nice little fresh breeze blowing at the
moment. You will need a wooly or light jacket.

So the US government is shut down as they fight
over passing a new budget so anyone working for
the feds will not get paid including all the military!
Of course this does not apply to the fat cats running
this country!
They are blaming the President as the Republican party
is in majority in the house and do his bidding.
They do not want to pass a short term solution to give
themselves more time to work things out.

The federal building down town had lines
around the block with people applying for new passports
as they are planning their trips for the summer, all US
citizens now need a passport to go even to Canada!
All airlines are planning on demanding passports to travel on
ANY airline foreign or domestic starting in a couple of years.
It seems that very few people have one at the moment.

Trump wants a long term budget NOW but is including
a lot of other things like what will happen to children
brought by their parents to this country as nippers, who
grew up here and know nothing about the country their
parents came from. Deporting them seems cruel and unusual
punishment to me. These kids or young adults are now in school
or University trying to educate themselves to be good Americans.
The only way they can get citizenship is by signing up for the military!
There is no visa or green card they can apply for that will let them stay
in this country legally.
Its all just scare tactics at the moment. Under the Bushes terms they
wanted to only have US citizens be eligible for Social Security at
retirement age. Asusual clearer heads prevailed as anyone here
on a green card (permanent resident) was paying taxes into SS
for years like we were, its the reason I gave in and finally
got naturalized after 30 years in this country.
Got Man U on the TV so going to watch while I have breakfast.

NO CAROLE I'm moving a lot of dresses OUT of your wardrobe so that Susan & Matt can hang things up.  it'll only be a shirt & trousers for Matt & a dress or skirt and top for Susan, not a lot. I only hang dresses in your wardrobe Carole no other wardrobe.   I have a system....only certain clothes in certain wardrobes......YOUR wardrobe only has dresses hanging up.

talktohand  If I was wearing blue Bond then I'd have gone for lilac nails not red.....my nails has to go with my dress, or skirt & top/sweater.    confused2  which ever.   Smile  I was saying to   .....oh yes she  telephone .....anyway I was saying to her I'd moved some of my dresses OUT of Susan & Matt's wardrobe and you never know I could wear one of those    affraid "BUT BUT you said you were going to wear the red dress!!!!!"  yes I said but I might change my mind   confused2  she wasn't happy......THEN she phoned back and I've to go to the cinema on Monday with her    headbanger  it's that Winston Churchill one.....I don't want to go.

Snow easing off and it's not settled
