Well we picked our car up.....I have to say I do like ours, the reason David doesn't want to update, we've looked at them but we do like ours .....though in a year or two maybe.

Went to Palmers (waiting for the garage to give David a call) I had a side salad they do do lovely side salads. Then Rob sent a text he'd been over here riding his scooter1 "But you were out" well of course we were. Came home and of course then went into the garden....it's hot out there. But we're in now.

Ok back later.....

Morning Bond ...Morning Vicky see you logged in
Going to be another lovely day here as well no rain
till Wednesday they are saying ...

See the new bride attended the Trooping of the color
yesterday ,the whole family looked very nice I must say

Glad you enjoyed your outing then Bond ,and so are you
guys going abroad this year as I saw no reply about MY COMMENT funnytvprog

Well seems my son has a few more things to do to Carmen's
landlords building {its two houses next to each other with
three apartments on each side } he is trying to sell it and
there are a number of small things its needing that he has asked
Spencer to repair like making new window screens for those broken
also a couple of cracked panes that he can take to a friend of ours
to have replaced ,a section of down spout a door trim etc ....

Anyway I have washingbasket to do this morning
Text Barb last night she STILL has no electric and HER landlord
has brought in ONE generator for the THREE apartments so all she has plugged
in is her fridgefood
She said getting ready for work is murder and its going to be waiting
on someone to inspect the work he has done then get the electric
company to come and connect them up again before she has full service
I told her there HAS to be SOMEWHERE she can get help /advise from
as this is NOT RIGHT ...
She said she will be here today so will see

Ok hope every one are well I shall return run run run

Oh Dear. I am not sure if I can keep up this giddy
round of parties and dining out.
Yesterday was wills 17th birthday so lots of noise from
the boys he had invited from his school (about a dozen
of them) It was a New Orleans type of Crawdad party!
You eat them with your fingers after breaking them open.

They were well behaved but noisy(when they were not
eating). It was funny to watch the two skinniest kids
eat the most food!
Peter and Ian used to be that way when they were young.
I kept thinking about when I started going out with Peter,
he was just 17 but was already working , would be
just as rowdy with his mates.
I met a friend of Teresa's who works at Northrop-Grumman
and I also met a man who started questioning me about
how much I knew about a certain bespoke car factory in
Malvern. And did I know about the 3 wheel cars they used to make.
I said I was very familiar with the Morgan factory and that they
were still making the little 3 wheelers.
He then said he had an original Morgan 3 wheeler built in 1936 in his garage!
(Danny's wife's father owns a new one with the "Spitfire" roundels
on it!).
This man was very impressed when I said that while Ian was playing in
at the Malvern theater I told him to call the factory to see if he could get a
tour which he did. Usually tours are booked in advance and only done at
certain times but because Ian was only in town for a few days he got VIP
treatment.
Then got their attention as the conversation turned back to airplanes.
We talked about the War Birds fly-in back in April. which led to the
story of Pops flying a Halifax bomber during the war and how the
ladies on both sides threw caution to the wind to get the silk
parachute material to either make underwear or wedding dresses!
Some still had the factory stamp on them but were very clever
about putting it where it would not show!
All In all, a great party. NO alcohol was served because of the under age
factor. I came home with some left overs as did Lorna, mainly non meat
items as the boys finished off all the Crawdads and most of the cake!
I slept in a little this morning as I was so tired from another hectic week.

School is nearly all out here so very quiet as the kids all sleep in or
leave on vacation OR hit the beach!
The sunny is out already but still a little on the cool side for the bikinis
to come out yet. Inland its a different story, up in the 100s in some places.
I still have a couple of washingbasket to wash and the cats diddledoo
boxes.
No word from Melanie but I think she has upped her number of meetings
to cope with what is going on. Its also a way of finding out where Jim is
and how he is doing as there is always one member who knows all.
Charging up my ipad at the moment while I have breakfast.

Be careful it's hot out there Bond......3/4 of an hour and that was me.....for then, off out again later though for half an hour and that was it.    It still looks good out there though.

Yes Carole it's white delphiniums.....one of the plants David put in.

Been talking to Susan....they're off to Ascot and she wanted a red fascinator but the one she got wasn't the red she wanted.....so now she's thinking of navy.       She was telling me she's been in her soon to be neighbours house, the guy they're buying the house off told them that they'd changed the house around and he was sure they wouldn't mind Susan & Matt popping in to look around and maybe get ideas.    She said they're so nice.....around 50, no children and of course Ian, the guy, knows Matt's Dad   confused2    lovely when you've got nice neighbours.    Susan's phoning the Solicitor on Monday to see how things are going on.....everyone wants to get cracking and move now.

Just had a orange jelly the iced cream would go nicely with it Bond.....and I'm good at teaching lines, ask Rob when he was "Shylock" .

Oh finished my book "Jeeves" one.....and now I'm reading "The Day She Disappeared" by Christobel Kent   her best friend sent her boss a text message saying she's met the love of her life and she wasn't coming back......nothing to her best friend though who has this feeling.

Morning guys ....
going to get ready to go to the shopper
as soon as I have checked in and drank my one
and only confused1
this morning I also feel good as I have dropped
to my lowest weight in ages ,so I am as they say
going onward and upwards {or should that be downwards}
as long as I keep going down even if its only a pound a week
I feel I am doing good ....

Slept pretty well last night after I EVENTUALLY got to lay down
as Gil called me into the living room a few times ..
Slept with the fan fan fan on as it was though a tad humid

My son yesterday informed me that he is now licensed to sell
Jewelry ,Carmen started it as it comes from a company in
her homeland of Puerto Rico ,and it consists basically of a main
piece either necklace or bracelet that has other pieces that you add
to the main one you may choose ,the add on's are only $5 and the
necklaces go from $18 up kind of hard to explain but really cute
they have one that says Nana flowers animals etc
He said a store owner has said he wants to buy some to sell
and so if he does Spencer would get not only the profit from what
he sells the items to this guy but also get 10% of what ever HE sells

Carmen is looking into opening a small store in the future she is very
adventurous sells Tupperware and Perfume among other things
Whether this is what my son will be doing instead of fixing jag
who knows confused2 but I say nothing as at 53 he is old enough
to know what he wants to do with his life ..

Glad you enjoyed your night out Bond

Vicky before I forget it that a Delphinium you have in your
Avatar ? talktohand I KNOW I KNOW ask David

OK better get on as the clock is a ticking

Morning Marge
...that first photo did look like Gil was shaking
his fist at me didn't it lol! but he was leaning on the wheelchair arm
I think he enjoyed just getting out the house as anyone would
so hoping the boys will keep this up as Spencer said we do not
know how long he will be with us for .....

Back later on after the fridgefood is full run run run

Does that mean there aren't any warning signs?      Though common sense should tell you not to go near water....though again what about the little kids playing around that area?     littleBlond Mad     And to think I don't like handbags made of croc....I've changed my tune, make bags and shoes of them ALL and snakes Margaret.     Wait until I next go to the Mulberry shop.   THOUGH I'm saving up to buy something big for Susan & Matt's "New Home" present.   They want 2 sofas & a coffee table in the kitchen for when the guests sit around nattering waiting for the food to be dished out.  SOooo I could buy a coffee table or one of the sofas, or money towards one of the sofas.   So it'll be a while before I buy another bag from Mulberry.

I do hope he's put into rehab for a long long time Margaret.....and even then I hope Melanie doesn't fall for the "I'm a different person now" and is more wary.

I think when you live where there are alligators
you get a bit too laid back about what they are
able to do. They sit like submarines with their
periscopes (eyes) up under weeds watching
for a likely catch.

We get more young men bitten by Rattlesnakes
out west, they do not listen to the
warnings because most of them are under the
influence anyway.
We have a snake called the Mojave Green which has
a mixture of two types of venom and is untreatable
with any anti venom available. You only run into them
out in the desert but there are also Sidewinders and
Rattlesnakes ,only Red Racers are non venomous.
There are Rattlesnakes up on the hill so you better
stick to the trails and watch for them sunning themselves.

I know that Jim is not usually a violent person but anyone
with as much medication in his system probably would have
died. He has a high tolerance so takes more to get the same
high but it does not work anymore and could have died long
ago from an accidental overdose.
To my knowledge Melanie is not violent either but can have
a sharp tongue!

Melanie has the restraining order in place. Jim had shown up at the
house looking like he has not changed clothes or had a shower since
the first time he left. He was due in court yesterday morning and Melanie
does not even know if he showed up. (by the way the Felony has been dropped
to a lesser charge) so he might be ordered to rehab again. He probably needs
a longer one of about 9 months instead of 30 days.
Melanie got him to leave by telling him she would pack a case for him and leave
it at his sponsors house.

She is still trying to find out how many secret Credit Cards he has, all the joint
name ones have been traced. If he is using a CC to live on , she can still be liable
for the debt even if its in his name only.
He does all his banking on line so (no paper statements) he may have been
deleting them.
She went through all this with her last husband, he switched addictions from
drugs to gambling and ran their accounts dry!
I thought she would know better this time but she is a recovering addict and
trusts people she should not.
Once again she is leaving herself wide open as California is a community
property State. In a divorce situation its 50/50 so she would have to sell
the house or pay him the equivalent amount. She promised us she would not
put Jims name on the deed as she and Rick paid off most of it and we
paid his hospital bills to get his name off.
If its in her name only, its not community property.
I get dragged into this mess whether I want to be or not and it could cost
mucho $$$$$.
If its one thing I am good at it is dealing with these people. I have had
so much experience so I will NOT be a personal ATM any time soon.

Vicky this is the email I sent you

MORNING MARGE

The body of the woman attacked by an alligator has been found,
according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

FWC spokesman Rob Klepper said in a news release that Shizuka Matsuki,
47, of Plantation, was found Friday at 9:49 p.m.

"We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and
friends of Ms. Matsuki," Klepper wrote.

Sources on Friday told Local 10 News that an arm had been recovered
from inside the alligator at the Silver Lakes Rotary Nature Park in Davie.

Klepper had previously said evidence from the necropsy indicates that the woman, who had been walking her dogs at the time, was bitten by the 12-foot, 6-inch gator.

Davie police Detective Vivian Gallinal said a man saw Matsuki walking her dogs in the park. A short time later, he said, he saw the dogs wandering alone.

"The witness who called us went to the area where he thought that they had been walking, and he immediately spotted an alligator," Gallinal said.

One of the dogs was found with a fresh wound, but Matsuki was missing.

Residents who live in the area told Local 10 News that a gator is known
to roam the lakes in the park. One woman said she let her 13-year-old poodle
out in the backyard around Christmastime. The dog vanished.

"Do you think the alligator may have gotten it?" Local 10 News reporter Jeff Weinsier asked.

"Maybe," she said.

A family friend who went to the park during the search for Matsuki said her
husband was in Chicago and had been warned by him to stay away because
of the gator.

Weinsier asked the city why there are no signs in the park, but he was referred to the FWC. The park, however, is a city property.

A spokeswoman for Broward County Animal Care and Adoption said the agency took possession of three dogs from the Davie scene.

Waiting on Spencer so back later

her arm inside the crock then later found her body

A man alerted officials after seeing her walking with the dogs
then seeing the dogs alone .....
Always a threat down there near water ,the small
animals look like dinner to the Gators /Crocks ....one reason I would
NEVER LIVE there .....Tracie is aware of this and watches
out

Vicky so what could you not have bought
a small portion ,we used to sell them by the pound
where I worked at Tile Hill .....or you could have
made Strawberry tarts etc ,just because David
did not want any .....that is not encouraging you
to put the weight back on

Did you see the post about a book called
Home Front Girls by
Rosie Goodwin
and also
The Ship Yard Girls by Nancy Revell
Both sound good

Going again Nice Rhododendron BTW

What a nice surprise for when Sara and Micheal
arrive back ,your a good Dad Bond

When did they go to Africa ?

Sent you an email from my daughter about some
lady who was just ate by a crock while walking her dogs
near the water in Florida {Tracie said Davie is only 3 miles
from her but that her and her friends do not walk their "pack"
near water }...... I saw it on the news this morning
She was on her way to a walk in urgent care as she has to get
so many hours under her belt ....

Just washed Gil up but he does not want to get up just yet
so its a good job Spencer will not be here until later

Will not go far Vicky but something is better than naught right

I remember all you said about not quite so many details
but the outline when Phil died ,makes you wonder why the cops never investigated
more confused2

I do not really FEEL like going anywhere today but if the boys take
Gil will have to tag along as they will have to use my 4x4 #1
I was going shopper this morning but decided to wait and do it tomorrow
not sure whats up with "ME" yet just not feeling 100%
Getting warmer here so the shoreline will feel nice as there is always
a breeze
Have fun tonight Bond guess your not starting on that
holiday "Svelte" figure YET funnytvprog

Back later run

I nearly bought some lovely strawberries and also some cherries.....but my husband said "You couldn't eat that many of either and I don't want any" so I didn't.   Sigh!!!  I've just had an individual trifle.

Had a portion of chips at Woodlands.....and I bought a top.     trouble is I've lost weight so it was "Maybe...just if I put weight on which I will....so is it this size or that size?" think I got the right one.  and I've only got around 19 pages of my "Jeeves" book.

 he's still jigging about.

I'm so glad Melanie called the police Margaret these men get away with it too many times "I didn't mean to I'll never touch you again"  HA!! until next time.   Good on Melanie.    Though women batter husbands too......my mate Janice her eldest son had a girlfriend move in with him and the nightmare started.....she's hit him with pans, rolling pins then one night while he was in bed she hit him with a golf club he ended up crawling into the garden where he was for over a day.....she went off to work and just left him in a coma, it was only Janice telephone  him that morning to speak to him and the girl told her he'd already gone to work and she'd get him to phone her when he came home.....she felt something wasn't right, and when she phoned that night to be told he'd gone out with mates but she'd let him know his Mum had phoned Janice decided to go round (didn't live very far away) walked round the back of the house to find Nat lying in the garden with his head caved in.....she phoned the police and ambulance and it was touch and go for a while,(Ben his brother flew back from Hong Kong where he works)  Nat's back working now but he'll never be the guy he was.....went to Oxford left with first class degree in English, became a Journalist, wrote a book on the murder of the two schools girls Holly & Jessica who lived in Ely (David's relatives come from there....small place and of course everyone knows everyone )  he was such a clever guy, he never told anyone about her beating him up, she went to prison I'm glad to say......but then neither did  husband until he'd been into hospital and I went with her to pick him up and as I was leaving her house I said to Phil "And you look after yourself" and he said "Well if she stopped hitting me"  and I looked at  expecting her to laugh but she didn't she looked shocked.....which made me wonder and then when he was rushed back into hospital with head injuries (And my phone was rung early in the morning but nobody there when David picked up and when I found the number it had come from it was hers, so I never phoned back  "What's she phoning this early for?"   was it Phil phoning for help?) where weeks later he died and when I went round there was blood upstairs on the landing and up the walls. and in the bathroom where he had leaned out shouting "Someone help" the neighbour heard it and went round but nobody answered it until    opened the back door crying Phil had been injured and there were golf clubs on the landing......she was never questioned, I know what I think and a couple of the neighbours also think so .        But mostly of course it's the guy battering the woman so well done Melanie.      .

Well off out......Woodlands.

Congrats for the win Carole.....NOW you can go and spend it. Also congrats to David we've always known him to be a clever guy.

Morning Bond so you were
the night away @ or cutting the rug as the old
saying goes .....
Lovely day here today bright sunny shine already
at 640am
Right now on TV they are interviewing a "special Olympics "
swimmer as she is competing later ,they do not say much
when asked a question do they funnytvprog but well done
to them that get involved in the sports etc

well my "quiet" day ended last night again with Gil going off
for NO REASON after being asked to be put into bed at 6pm
Started on about the $$ I am short right now from the State until
they put me back into the program that helps pay my Part B
insurance ,accused me of TAKING IT FROM HIS MONEY
So ended up giving him a "chill pill"

Today the boys are taking him out again ..

Marge your daughter is doing great with Jim shows how much
SHE has gotten stronger
Hope you and Lorna get together soon that must be very draining
working in the heat as the crossing guard...

I have done NOTHING this year with my planters etc have had no time
#1 and not wanting to go outside leaving Gil in here and I cannot now he
is not walking get him out on my own ,plus have not had the finances
so whats growing out there is from my perennials confused2

One good piece of news I asked Blaine yesterday to play my daily
lotto number 6 4 9 for midday and night ,and it CAME OUT 9 6 4
last night so for my $1 investment I will get $42.50
Its been playing games with me for WEEKS now so about time

The other piece of good news is David yesterday got his Masters
from M I T
and did it it seems in THREE years cheers
My smart grandson
So now he has two Masters and a Bachelors.........

OK I have to get going as if Gil is being taken out I need to get him ready
so will say only

Good morning at last, bit late as the Edison Co.
(electric) showed up and needed me to clear the driveway
so they could get one of their huge cherry pickers
up to my power pole.

They all noticed Big Red and wanted to know all about it.
I did move it to next doors curb and moved BB over to the
other side of the drive way so they had a clear shot down the
side of the garage .
As long as they don't turn the power off I can at least get on here.
Its never dull round here.

More sunny today as the temps are slowly going up and the humidity
going down.
Don't know what happened to Lorna but she did not call me yesterday.
She gets so fatigued working the school crossing twice a day in her
full guard kit which is totally polyester. and a Hi Vis vest that she comes home
and falls asleep. I was not going to disturb her.

No word from Melanie about Jim yet and it would have to come through
someone else who is still speaking to him. Her brain must be thinking of all
the different ways this could go at this point and if she will need to give
evidence in court at his hearing. In this state the wife does not have to charge
her husband with assault ,its done automatically by the police and prosecutor.
(too many wives drop the charges under duress from the husband so the cycle
starts again).
I know he would not have reacted the way he did if he had not been under the
influence of a mixture of drugs. That does not get him off the hook but it may
give him the eye opener he needs to get his act together.
She said he looked shocked that she would call the police on him!
Hopefully I can wipe down the Patio table and chairs and put the pads on them
and put up at least one of the umbrellas today.
I saw a stand for a round wire planter on sale at Armstrong Nurseries which would
look nice out there. I am still trying to work out how I can fit Peters wooden lounger
into my garden landscape. It is the kind that has wheels on it so it can lean on something
or be level like the ones at the fancy hotels. It has an adjustable back rest but the does
lay flat also. With a strap to anchor it to a wall it would take several small pots hanging
from it or grow a vine on it.
The men are still out there but its suddenly gone quiet., it must be coffee break time!
Must away to my chores like a good little girl, now where did I put my Pinny?

Morning not too bad a night although
being as Blaine is now off for the summer on Fridays
I COULD have laid in bed a bit longer except Gil
kept giving me a clock  check every 20nins headbanger
but at least he seems to be in a "good" mood
Just asked for a sarnie as he has been "hungry" for
over an hour confused2 ..
Then I get a telephone  from barb ,she has some MAJOR
issues at home ,now it seems her electricity was turned off
yesterday as her landlord is having solar panels put on the
building and the electric company turned off the power yesterday
as they could not read the meter ..

Sorry had to leave this as Gil was eating his sandwich and got too big a
piece in his throat and was CHOKING AGAIN ,THAT is it NO MORE sarnies
for HIM .good job Blaine was here as he pulled him out of bed so I could
do the Heimlich again .......
After that I went out and cut the grass .......

Anyway so starts off ANOTHER exciting day in the Bourne household
I shall be back later ....nice hair do Vicky and Bond whats those lines
"stand up straight lad" confused2

Morning Marge hows YOUR AGENDA going today santa santa

Hello guys SOOOO tired my eye lids felt
like they were made of IRON
Dede came and washed Gil up who said he
again wanted to stay in bed {stayed in all day
yesterday) but before I went back into the living
room Gil said he was sorry for swearing at me and calling
me a word I have never in 65 yrs been called
I know its not my husband but my it hurts
Gil said he would get up later ,and so I had to dress
him and get him into the living room via his wheel chair
cannot even think about trying to get him down the stairs
now like I was able to do a few months even ago ,like last
December when Barb Danny and me got him to the
Motor Vehicle Dept to surrender his license and get a CT identification
card
Anyway I did get to take a 2 hr easychair on the sofa then made
something for dinner for us both fed him and have just taken my shower

I also did not give Gil a pain pill and what they call Lorazepam that
calms him when he gets up tight and so far he seems to be OK
as I think all these extra pills on top of everything else he takes
for BP could be making these moods worse I intend calling
the Dr's office about it as well as he takes 4 other BP pills and one for reflux
Of course if he complains about his arm and neck hurting I will give him a pain pill

Weather here was over cast to partly sunny Marge but only in the high 60's
with a breeze so would have been a good day to have mowed the grass
but I just had no strength today .....

Vicky I could call Linda if I needed to or even my sister but do not ,
when I see Linda she lets me vent and I can call Corine his Hospice nurse
she has told me , she likes ME a lot and just yesterday said she
worries about my health as she has seen how Gil has gotten
at times like when he was SCREAMING at Barbara to get out ,she
was the one who calmed him down and Gil responds to her which is
good to know as she will I guess be here when its his time

Anyway there you go have spoken my piece ....Bond your too good to
Mrs B lol

Looks like Sara and Micheal are having a nice time

Marge one step at a time right

Glad you are starting to feel better Vicky keep up the good work
have you ever thought about getting some Ensure drinks to help
put back what you lost .....

So speak tomorrow ,they say its going to turn HOT Rolling Eyes fan

I too have the England friendly on while doing
some spot cleaning on the living room carpet
as it seems that Tabbitha has been hiding where
she spits up now. I think I got them all.
Now I am nice and sweaty I think I will go and
have a peach iced lolly.

I know its hard Carole but try not to take it
too much to heart what Gil is saying as he
probably does not even know he is saying it
half the time.
But he is lucid enough to tell you that he loves you
and that is to be treasured.
I told Peter I loved him and I was surprised when
he said it back to me before he went to sleep for the
last time.

Had a lovely time at the Olive Garden, we had a full
house for the birthday girl.
Its Michaels birthday on the 12th of June so will get him a card
and a little something and drop it off at the shop.

No further news from up north so guess its going to be quiet
until Jim goes before the judge.
I am with holding any opinions about what led up to his mental
crash until I know more. I just know that a mixture of drugs
were involved on his part.
Its a tricky situation when one of the couple has been clean
and sober for so long and the other one is trying to get clean
and sober. I have the same situation in my support group.

The husband has been sober for five years but is still behaving
a little immature at times but its much better than it was.
She on the other hand is well versed in her 12 step program
so is a little too willing to quote program at him when he
does something she does not think is program. Its a bit
like getting recovery 24/7 instead of 1 or 2 days a week.
We do tell them to take what they like of the program and
leave the rest if it does not apply to their situation so we
all use a different way of getting where we need to be.

Some things cannot be fixed in a volunteer group setting
and needs a professional to be consulted. ASAP
Mental illness seems to always be part of the reason that
many addicts and alcoholics self medicate.
I can only wait and see now.

Instead of being partly cloudy today, its partly sunny as
we build up to a hot weekend here. (I think the sunny
is winning at the moment), The temps are still in the same
range but feel different went the sun is out.

Lorna and I will be doing our water melon run later.
Its like watching a Laurel and Hardy movies , she will
pick the ones she thinks are the ripest and I will be
the muscle who puts them in the cart and unloads them at the
check stand and then puts them in the car.
She always fights me for pushing the cart when its obvious
I am bigger and stronger than she is but give way because
she is so intent on showing how independent she is.

Many months ago she called me to take her to urgent care
because she needed stitches in her hand but she drove ME to
urgent care and home again!!! I was not about to argue with her
because she was in a very agitated state but at least she was not
doing it alone!
Luckily it was not far to go.

Hopefully there will be no more social gatherings until July 4th
so I can get a head of steam going about boxing and bagging and
offloading stuff. I know I will feel better to be making more progress
than of late. I also need to get control of my filing. affraid

Meeting tonight (at some point I need to do an inventory of the
literature and forms).
Its all go here but at least I now feel up to doing more as the days
go by. TTFN
