Washed and blow dried my hair this morning

It's looking lovely out there......at the moment....oh spoke to soon.

Not so good news from Susan this morning, their buyer has pulled out.......so it's back to square one......they're hoping the Portbury couple will wait a month or so.

tired  was that Bond I saw run  off
must have had a  "HOT" date this morning funnytvprog

Well its bill paying day here as our  SS gets deposited
on the 3rd so what needs to be paid gets done today

Got another delivery from Hospice last night via UPS ,I REALLY
appreciate what they are supplying but I am going to speak
to the nurse when she comes tomorrow as all I asked for was
the patches I have to put on Gil's butt ,and they sent
2 packages of wipes
Gauze
2 bottles of Saline
ANOTHER box of rubber gloves
2 bottles of body lotion
and
2 bottles of hair and body wash confused2

I know some people would just keep taking all this
and say nothing ,but I am not like that and think that
someone who is REALLY in need could be getting this
when we NEED items I will tell them
Like the other day they sent two MORE packages {20 in each}of
adult diapers {I already have 4  packages ,and Gil is not incontinent
so only wears them to prevent the cream I am using from getting
all over his own undies }

Today we start off cool but warm up as the  approaches
Then tomorrow will be even warmer ,with the possibility of a
THUNDER BUMBER ,before we get MORE
Weatherman says the next couple of WEEKS are looking very
unsettled headbanger
SPRING WHERE ARE YOU Rolling Eyes

OK so heres hoping everyone had a good night
and I shall return later run run  Bond wait up run run run

Great rant Margaret same over here illegals working on the land, in hotels etc and some illegals being deported when they have been over here years working hard, paying their taxes, raising a family while some illegal thugs know how to play the system and we can't touch them, they go to prison for sickening crimes ....some against young kids....but we can't deport them. Mad

We are just a bit gloomy here today.
Its overcast and grey, standing at 56f
at present and looking forward to a high
of 61f. The humidity level is still high,
about 83% as there is a 20% chance
of showers later.

Glad you liked my little RAF salute
to my FIL. He didn't think much of me
as a future wife for his son but endured
my presence for Peter and the children's
sake.
He never knew how much we understood
about what he was going through with
PTSD, to him it was a failing or being
weak so it was never mentioned.
A very mentally strong and stubborn
man. Peter certainly inherited that
from him. I know Melanie and Ian
have as well. Its just in their nature.
Its been to easy for me in the past
to give up on things but I think I have
found my strength at last.

Was invited over to Lorna's last evening for
Won Tons and chicken and a spinach salad
followed by a small slice of carrot cake.
Recorded the latest episode of Call the Midwife
and watched it when I got home.
She is back at work this morning so no alcohol
last night.
Easter Monday is not usually observed here
business wise but the is a traditional egg
roll at the White House today.

Trump the lad put his size 12s right in it yesterday
going to church, He stated the he needs this wall
between us and Mexico as they are sending caravans
of people over the border to get in under DACA laws.
(it only applies to people bought here by their parents
and are still not able to get green cards or citizenship
as illegals) but they can and already have applied for
a place on a list to be vetted so no new people allowed.
(they had a date they had to register by)

One man (an illegal) served in the United States Army
and did two tours in Afganistan and was helping other
US veterans get the aid they needed when he was
deported. As soon as he hit the other side of the Border,
he started the same thing for other illegals who served
and were deported so the government quickly invited him
back!
It is well known that illegals can serve in the military and it
can be a way to get started on your citizenship journey
but it seems that right has been taken away now.
This was a decorated soldier for goodness sake !
The morning shows here are really on his tail about
what Trump said. He cannot take it back but I bet his
staff are pulling their hair out right now!
(we know he will put his own spin on what he said
and what he meant but its to late now).

One other story here is about an Asian student on a
student visa has been stocking up on guns.
Someone turned him in thank goodness but how ever
he got the AK47 will keep the ATF (Alcohol,Tobacco &
Firearms)busy for a while. You see, only citizens can buy
or own guns legally in this country!
They are not supposed to vote either but no one knows
how many do, the ballot is in 8 different languages!
Some states ,Like ours, allow illegals to get drivers
licenses and that usually is what you show at a polling place
unless they have code on them which shows what their
status is.
The US census will be coming up in a couple of years and already
there is word that you will have to answer about your status on
it. You already get asked what country you were born in ,
why should you reveal your status so the Feds know where to find
you?
We do not have a lot of trouble in this state with south American's.
Most take the hard jobs that no America will do, they are agriculture
workers, hotel maids, construction workers, cooks and gardeners.
Here Endeth Margarets rant for this morning. I'll put away the soapbox

Yes today is a Bank Holiday Carole most don't go back to work until tomorrow.

I'll have a  please Bond.

Spring Carole  funnytvprog  that's so funny.........that's the reason we haven't bought any plants. yet.

told her to pack warm clothes as the day she should be here its
only going to be in the 40's and

Barb just text me wanting to know if this was an all day thing
as she has no TV after she cancelled her service after her son
ran up the NetFlix bill .....

Hi all, back from Dobbies, Ive see n on full but never this full, they have a big big carpark but it was almost full and people were parking in the over spill parts and the bit of a carpark on the right place hat you can't get in that was full of what I would think was staff cars
Yes lots of stories about Larry Grayson, he used to go into the ladies hairdressers that mrsb worked in to see the owner Ronnie and the Anker boys used to go in too but no mention of them in This is your life, but they were a big part of his life in Nuneaton
Ive put the kettle on my hands are frozen confused1

Morning.......greyish though it had  down earlier

My friend Marjorie went to school with him, (Marjorie moved into a house at the bottom of our road and we became friends, Ron was the right hand man to Sir William Dugdale) when her and Ron went to Australia with his job for a couple of years she was shocked when she came back and saw Larry Grayson on the TV.  Steve's mate lived next door to him, one day Larry was in the garden and "Stitch" put his finger across the top of the fence and said  "Look at the dust on here"  and Larry said "You'll get such a smack when I see you walking down the street"  anyway this day Steve, Stitch & Tomo were walking down the road and along came Larry in his white rolls, the rolls stopped and out he got and smacked Stitch across the head "That'll teach you" Larry said and got back into his rolls royce  (Carole & Margaret he had a chauffeur) if he ever heard someone was hard up he'd walk up to them, start talking and slip some money into their pocket.....I used help out at the Stroke Club and they all know him also Slack Alice who was Alice Slack really, Larry Grayson used to mention her in his act but oh the stories the guys at the Stroke Club used to tell about her.  Mad Smile   she married a Jeweller in the end.

We go once a month to Dobbies Carole because we get a free    Smile   we went the other day because we'd lose our drinks.....and to have a look around.

Ok back later.

High ground Bond .....well we must
be HIGH here in Bridgeport as ITS SNOWING
and LAYING headbanger
Enough so that Bridgeport schools are 2 hr delayed
that is to allow the buses to get around to pick the kids
up safely
Hope Barb gets here OK being as she comes by public
transport and then has to walk DOWN the hill to reach our street

Not going to last they are saying by the afternoon the sunny
will be out

Hey Bond Dobbies @ maybe you will run into Vicky as
that seems to be the place her and David go to a lot

So all that is left to say is
GOOD MORNING LADIES
and that I shall return later run run run run run

Good evening, I think Hinckley I have said before when I was on a exchange trip with a german college when the students left they gave me a sign ed visitors  book of German
And it said it wasn't a understanding of how the world wars started
Now I don't know how they picked people for the art show it may of been find people that couldn't paint and then show them how as I thought none of them knew the basics

Morning ladies again
Nice photo and piece you put on FB Marge
about "Pops"

Wonder if the solar string lights are what I got before Xmas
Marge on FB ,took a while to get here but worth the wait

Its REALLY long ,has three different modes where the lights
flash different colors ,I did have them in my bay window at
Xmas ,but just two nights ago I took them down and draped
them all through my Knockout roses out front ,forgot to look
the first night to see how they looked as I also have the same as I sent
you Marge out there that flash red green red .....so I looked last
night and they look fantastic twinkling among the bushes and will look
great once the roses bloom

Gil finished watching Spurs win Chelsea and is now easychair hooked
up to his oxygen
Had a sarnie of the lamb .....I said he will never die of starvation
as he eats like he is STARVING picking up the smallest crumb
in fact it drives me ,as I am trying to remove his plate
and he is grabbing these tiny pieces ...
He said yesterday when he goes it will be on a FULL STOMACH
and I THINK SO Shocked

Anyway going to relax a while before feeding him again
have the Visiting nurse coming again tomorrow she wants to see
if the stuff she put on Gil's "crack" is healing its not pressure she thinks
more sweat that is causing these in between his legs as well confused2

Fruit and nut EGG

Plenty of white rabbits today.
Its 59f at present, sunny is
out but its very misty due to
the high humidity level(81%)
High is expected to be 61f
with a 20% chance of a few
showers. Low ,56f tonight.

Hope you have all done your egg hunt by now,
mine will be indoors as we had an invasion of
tiny black ants the other night.
As usual they come in through a crack in the
kitchen door so head for the cats feeding area.
Use window cleaner in doors to kill them and wipe
them up and spray around the outside of the back door
with ant killer to stop them coming in again for a while.

Slept well last night after drinking a glass of cold milk
with Ovaltine in it and a Tylenol tablet.
My lower back and hips have been inflamed for a day or so
as I was out of Tylenol arthritis formula for a couple of days
and could not find any at a couple of other places either so
when I picked up my meds refill I found some at CVS.

I saw some of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of
the founding of the RAF on BBC world service app on my iPad.
It seems that Bomber Command was left out again.
Some of the WWI aircraft were equip to drop small bombs
even then!
British government must still be ashamed that they did that
to poor Germany.
They started blanket bombing on us for goodness sake!
Never awake a sleeping lion!

Its going to be a normal day here as I have some buying to
do online. I have seen a string of solar garden lights to run
along the top of the fence out back as the gardeners have
made mincemeat out of my stick in the ground solar lights.
(not yours Carole) with their power weed whacker, I had 9
in a row against the fence and now only 2 are working still.

If they are tied to the top of the fence, they will be out of
danger. It will take about 3 strings to do most of the fence.
Its time to take the patio chair pads out and wipe them off.
Everything fades so fast out in our strong sun but they will
be good enough for this summer.(unless I find better ones)
Have to act fast out here as we tend to do a lot of outdoor living
in the summer so things are gone in a flash.
Time to get moving here so I will say TTFN and A Happy Easter to all.

talktohand  don't tease Bond on the
Chocolate sniff sniff Sad
One of the employees at Big Y where I shop
the most is from the ,in the Midlands also
she is a front end manager ,anyway we got talking
about  chocolate yesterday when I popped in
she LOVES chocolate buttons ,her SIL it seems went
to a Brit shop somewhere over here and bought her TWO
huge bags of them for her birthday ,of course then we went
through a list of ALL we miss dislike or love
She also misses Humbugs ,I love Murry Mints ,got some on line
last year only trouble with doing that it costs you as MUCH as you
spend  in Shipping costs crying
I love Crunchie bars, Flakes, Fry's three colored cream bars
Walnut whips {ate  4 a night when pregnant with Tracie Shocked }
no wonder I went from 108lb to 158lb Rolling Eyes
Only gained 20lb with Blaine as I was then into  Jaffa oranges and salads
and CANS and CANS of Pineapple juice could not seem to get my fill,
gained less than that with Spencer and really had no special cravings  confused2

Yes nice to see my daughter but will be on tender hooks with her  :driver:
all those miles alone up and then back down ,as have no idea how long she
will be staying ,probably only a couple of days at most
I think she wants to see her Dad just in case something happens
confused2

Lamb turned out nice also the ham I cooked with it
Back later then ,Bond drinks please

We're the same Carole about every day is the same.  confused2

Been nattering telephone  to Susan her and Matt and of course Nessie went to Cornwall for the week-end, stayed at this dog friendly hotel.....everyone enjoyed themselves, they got home lunch time.

It'll be lovely for you all to see Tracie again.

Watching a Sandra Bullock film "The Net" David recorded it so we're watching it.....think we've seen it before, but I like her films.

Hi Bond.....glad you had a good lunch.

Back later....

Good afternoon ladies, and a very happy Easter to you all
That was a lovely lunch on the kids in our new Gastro pub, I had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, I did have a chicken and rocket salad
Funny about this saturlite coming down and the afternoon film is space cowboys about the very same thing

And a very "Hoppy" Easter to you ALL
but as I told Barb yesterday ,every day seems the
same as the last now a days confused2

Love the Daff's Bond and enjoy your breakfast with
who is it now Sara and John ?

According to Tracie's text she is starting out to :driver:
up here Thursday ,now if you have two drivers you could make
it in a day driving straight through ,but being as she will be alone
with Timmy she will have to rest part way so will be here for late
Friday early Saturday depending on conditions as I am watching
all this CRAZY weather that is below us that she has to drive up through
I am HOPING will have passed before she leaves ....
She is working today she said

They are saying the snow we will get in the morning should be
the heavy wet kind {often wonder is there any OTHER kind besides WET}
confused2 but should only be maybe an inch ...lets HOPE so ....

You know could very well have put her FINGER on your obsession
with clothes Vicky ,being "starved" while growing up your making up for
it now
Your Nan sounds a right one though buying her wedding clothes some
where other than you did nono

I have to thank my Nan as she tried to give me everything I needed
growing up in her house till my Mum moved to a council house after
she married Ron and had Wendy ,we then qualified for housing as we
slept four in the back bedroom at 91,
Nan ran a catalog and would get me a winter coat every year
I remember one in a new color {then} called Teal with a brown fur collar
I thought it was the cats MEOW ,and she knitted ALL our sweaters
{mine Mums and my Aunt Dotty's } so never had to buy them she
was rattling off one a week ,could she knit fast ....Aunty Dot was
the same both knitted beautifully ,but not my Mum ,you would have
thought she was knitting with STEEL it was SO TIGHT funnytvprog

Just put a small leg of Lamb in the oven for Gil later so hopefully
he will be a happy bunny

We have after that beautiful day showers this morning but I believe
it should dry up before the afternoon and before tomorrows SNOW
but its certainly cooler than yesterday

The space station is still falling Vicky ,one astronaut they had on yesterday
was saying the chances of it hitting anyone was very small ,but guess
it all depends on HOW LUCKY YOU ARE lol!

The States in line as I said are Connecticut, New York ,Pennsylvania this
side and I think your out of the zone now Marge as its flown over California

OK so its HEADS UP see you later

Happy Easter to everyone.

When's Tracie coming Carole?

Today is looking much better here......tomorrow is supposed to be either snow or all day. Shocked

That's one of the things I was pleased about when David said yes to us getting married in a registry.....I hadn't the money to save up for a wedding dress etc and I got my suit with a "coupon" it was a nice suit though not really what I'd have gone for if I'd had a choice. I had to go to just one shop to cash it in. THOUGH my Gran didn't get her outfit that way ...crafty devil. Oh well such was life. once said "You buy clothes now because you couldn't then" and she has a point.

affraid Bond......and you got a bill at the end week. people just wouldn't believe it would they. Mad

That's lovely Margaret you calling Lorna over to share your goodies.

Oh I meant to say Carole I've not heard about that Chinese Space Station confused2 put the sofa upside down girls and crawl under that.

Finished my book Last Breath by Robert Bryndza ....it is good.

Back later.

Hi all, good news for our anual motor show (Marge BB & BR would look great ) they are looking to get a fly past by a Lancaster bomber:dancingladies:
We had a group of some ten Harleys go through the town and with the narrow streets it sounded like a hundred they were only just ticking over so they had that thud of a heart beat
as this marks a 100years of the RAF I should sort the photo of my grandad who finished up his first world war service in the Royal flying corps .
He then became a very smart postman
I'll refill the kettle

When my wages went up after finishing my training
at AWA, I opened a Post Office account to save a
little money after paying my Mum.
I got so mad at her for expecting me to turn over
my whole pay packet at first but six months later
she presented me with a clothing check for the
whole amount!
(I did need more grown up clothes now I was
working in an office, I had been used to wearing
a uniform every day!)

Went shopping yesterday and could not find my favorite
corn chips (they had been out for over a week)
so went to another chain market and found some there.
As I walked through their bakery department I spied
something I had not had in years, Cream Puffs!
there were two in a plastic container.
I knew who would appreciate sharing them with me so
gave Lorna a call when I got home.
I also took her a dark chocolate bunny and a small
Cadbury egg and two of my package of four Hot
Cross Buns.
She had been off work this week with all the schools
out for Easter break. As usual she was trying to get
a lot done and was ready for a glass of wine and
a Cream Puff.
Neither of us have anything planned for tomorrow
and we both are ready for an uninterrupted day
at home.
Today is cats ablutions day and a general tidy up
around the house. I still have light bulbs to replace
and three battery clocks to "spring forward"

The sunny is out but there is still a lot of mist about
because of the high humidity level(91%)
Its 53f at this moment with an expected high of 63f,
tonight's low is expected to be 55f
The forecast said party cloudy today but that may
come later.

Have not heard if the Chinese Space Station has come down
yet, we were also warned it could come down over California.
They are saying it might not be down until Monday.
Where's my hard hat, surrender

April first was Peters official retirement date which he always found
very ironic . That was 23years ago now. how time has flown.
No sign of me retiring yet, clearing up one area makes more mess
in another area. but it will all eventually go out the door never to
return if I keep at it.
I am ahead of the game unlike Lorna who spent 5 years just getting over
her physical injuries and is just now having Yolanda help her box up
all the extra stuff she doesn't need anymore.Lorna still has
episodes of PTSD as what killed her husband was so traumatic.
I find I can hold it together most of the time but special days
still make me really sad. I get so busy sometimes that I do not
have time to indulge in self pity. The last few weeks have been
an example of that.
Its that time again, Hi Ho, Hi Ho its off to work I go.

Hearing about all the a
comes to mind
♪ "The green green grass of home " ♪

Well was in the middle of changing all our bedding
after giving Gil a shower {which I have told him
NO MORE as his latest thing that this brain thing makes
him do is FREEZE in place and he cannot or will not MOVE}
So its going to be Bed Baths for him ...

Anyway as I was saying was in the middle of doing the bedding
when they called to say the lens they had to replace {no charge}
were in ,so I ran over while Blaine was still at home with his dad
took an hour so while I waited I ran up to Big Y for a couple of
items I forgot yesterday and they were ready when I got back
as its only down the street from there ....
I also took my receipt with me from the last February as I had
to PAY for them $116 ,as one attendant was trying to say they replaced
THEM for free headbanger I KNOW I paid for them as I was so mad
as the warranty had only ran out in the January
They have no idea WHY this has happened now TWO times
seems funny where I used to get them done I never in all the years
going there had THIS happen confused2

Anyway hope your all enjoying your Easter Saturday ,its ABSOLUTELY
GORGEOUS here right now so taking it all in before it changes

Now my dad put money in the bank but as the max was some thing like erm I think it was £400 or £200 he opened three accounts at different banks but when he died this all caught up with him and I had to pay money back

What stories we have to tell.       buried in the garden so the husband can't get his hands on it Smile  love it.....THOUGH I don't put my end of the month money in the bank because  it's in both our names and though I would never touch a penny of it (when I order books from Amazon as soon as they arrive I give the money back to David.....oh and my card doesn't work online, for some reason, so I have to get David to order something for me,  WE have been to the bank to find out why and have been told to do it online....David's tried but no joy so I can't even order something without him knowing )  I do save up, put my money in a lock up box and once that key is turned I don't dip in for anything.      Yep there's a story in everyone.

Yes I imagine you would grow up quickly Carole.

I'm reading a detective book, well a Kindle, it's really good couldn't put it down last night.....I can't remember the name, I'll let you know when I've finished and I can get to the title.  There must be a way of doing it but I'm clueless.   Anyway it's really good.

Glad you all stayed dry then over there

I decided to splurge on fish n chips so popped
out while Gil was hooked up on his machine
Of course that was when Dr Chokskey's liaison
Jackie called to find out what discomfort Gil was
in as Corine the new nurse had reported to her about
I told her that is nothing new as he has these pains
EVERY single day sometimes his legs always his neck
and head ,so she is going to talk to the Dr about the Tramadol
as I told her he gets 1000 acetaminophen which is basically
Tylenol before going to sleep {he can have 4000 a day}
and that is it for pain ....

My independence came after Gil and I divorced in 1972
as being left in a strange country with three kids and no support
one grows up and independent VERY QUICKLY
I could have pushed for child support but being 3100 miles
away I figured how easy would it be to get it ,plus Gil was out of work
back then so I figured it was not worth the hassle confused2

Anyway i find my tummy is a little off this afternoon so going to lay
it down
Speak tomorrow guys

I agree when we were first married, he was an
engineer for goodness sake and prided himself
on his prowess with numbers so let him handle
every thing.
( I was so scared of messing up) like I had been
at home with my dad.
Later as I got more independent and he working long
overtime hours, I was frustrated that I was turning
into my Mum. I had a car I could not put gas in as
he had the gas credit card and wouldn't give it to me.
and they didn't take checks and I didn't have much cash
on me. I always had to wait for him to come home and
take care of everything.
That started to change when we went to St. Louis and
everyone came down with Chicken Pox except me!
I had to take a form filled out by Peter putting my name
on the account because I needed to buy a washer and dryer
because I could not use the ones at the apartment block.
I still didn't get a check book of my own until we got back to
California! I also got a gas credit card as I was having to drive
down town to the hospital where Melanie was having her
surgery and recovery every day for 2 weeks.
Peter was working 60 hours a week then so never home until
late. It just got too complicated so I became very independent.
I had to be able to take care of things while he was not there.
Its a long time ago but it was one of the only frustrations I had
to live with that taught me a valuable lesson. One never knows
when we will have to act on our own and should be able to take
care of ourselves when our men folk are not around.
Luckily for me it turned into a 50/50 partnership finally.

Lorna had a story to tell after divorcing her first husband, she
worked and worked but for some reason did not want to start
a bank account because it might be attached in the divorce
proceedings (its a community property state) so she kept
putting into a tin can and buried it in her garden.
Then she met he second husband who was an Attorney and she
was his office manager. She finally admitted to him what she had done
and when it was finally dug up the can had rusted and ruined most
of the notes but as the serial numbers were still there they sent it all
to the Treasury (US) and got most of then replaced.
Richard wrote a funny letter with them which Lorna still has a copy
of it framed on the wall in her house.
Some one on one of the Coventry sites posted a photo of the wooden cross
in the old Cathedral for good Friday so wrote a little post in the comments.
Got to go shopper as the fridgefood is looking kind of empty.

It was spitting as we headed into Leics Carole.

Ah Tramadol....yes it's the strongest pain pill you can take Carole.....that's what I was on when I had my kidney stones last year, though we aren't put on it for long it's addictive, though I'm sure they'll not worry about Gil being on it.

Oh David will buy things for the house IF HE thinks we need them Mad .....the things about me buying MY clothes he'll point something out "That's nice have you seen this?"   but let ME see something and he'll go round the houses trying to change my mind.....until I do, not because I can see his point of view but because I just give in, he's done it for years.     I remember when we first got married I was looking for a dress for an occasion, and he kept pointing out dresses which ...well something your granny would wear, I was 22 for heaven sake   confused2

The cheque book is in both our names as are both credit and debit cards but he knows I'd never use them......in fact a number of times he's taken my card just to use it to keep it going. ....though a couple of years ago when Susan & I went into town without her Dad in tow, I had a great time trying things on and buying things, though I was going to pay with cash per usual and Susan said "Use your card" so I tried and though I thought I knew my number, well it was either this way or that, I realised I didn't know what to do....Susan was at one cash desk and I was at this other punching in the first set of numbers....nop....ah then it's this way....but I was worried because I was positive I'd got the number right the first time, Susan came over (she'd bought her stuff)  and said "Haven't you sorted it yet?"  in the end she bought the two tops with her card and I gave her the money afterwards.....I haven't tried it since.    confused2 .....I know I'm daft but it's the same as I was when I was at home, my Gran ruled and I just went along with it.....David took over from her and I allowed it......no wonder she liked him from the off.  I can just image her thinking "Oh yes he'll keep her in place"      Sigh!!!!      I bought my kids things from the family allowance ....when I worked that money went into the house, I never knew for years that I was paid a fee for being a Company Director until Marilyn (my SIL) told me.....when he had a pay rise I never knew until once again Marilyn mentioned it.   So from then on I got my fee....and that's how I had £100 at the end of the month and then of course that's carried on with my pension....it goes into the house (& I get £100 at the end of the month), even though David has TWO private pensions and his state pension.....the private pensions die with him when he does.   confused2    sorry you've got me off now Margaret.....but it's good to get it off your chest.

Glad you managed to get your ipad back ok.....phew.

We've still got some hot cross buns.

It was the one thing that irritated me about Peter.
If he wanted something (like Big Red) he went out
and bought it without blinking an eye. Over
the years he splashed out on items for his pleasure
but I had to beg for everything I needed like an upright
vacuum cleaner.
I did in the end talk some sense into him but it took
years before I got new things for the house.
It took Nine years to be trusted with a check book on
HIS account and it took a further 9 years to be given
a credit card in HIS name .
I had never given him any reason to question my
responsibility with OUR money!
I got some sessions with a psychologist who explained
how to get some equality in our marriage and it worked!
She had me explain that I was an unpaid worker and that
if he paid me the wage that professional housekeepers
got , he could not afford me!
It and other thing changed the dynamic of our relationship.
to be on a more equal footing.
Don't know why I brought that up but I was dreaming along
these lines lasts night and its better to express my feelings
about it than wonder why I dreamt about it.
I do know that no matter how this DMV thing turns out I am
writing to the director of our State DMV and chew him out
(in the most polite English Way of course).I am very good
at that.
Had a small crisis last night, I took my iPad to the meeting
to show the picture of Melanie in her wet suit after she had
been surfing for the first time, I got home and started to unload
BR and could not find it, after making sure I did not have it,
I had to drive like a rally driver up the hill to the retreat and sure
enough I had left itonthe black stand that holds the TV they use
so got it back. I did not get home until gone 11 pm!
I didn't get to sleep until about 2 am.
They employ a maid at the retreat who likes to "pick up" things.
She almost got my fleece jacket a couple of years ago so it was a
bit of a panic situation.

Sun is out here but quite misty. It turned out hotter than was
predicted yesterday so may get the same today.
I have no real plans for Easter but it does not matter as I
can dive into the rest of the paperwork that needs filing
without having the phone ring countless times.

I have some English Hot Cross Buns this time around.
I also picked up some chocolate bunnies and small Easter
Eggs at the British shop so all I need is some "grass" and
small bags and give them to the people who have helped
me stay sane these last 2 years.
You guys have also been a big part of my surviving it
as well. So a big THANK YOU all round.

Must take my pills now and have my second
TTFN

Hello Vicky ,so you have rain now
and its clearing here and should be a
BRILLIANT day tomorrow they are saying

When Barb got here I :driver: to the shopper
and picked up what I would normally get Sunday
as my grocery store Big Y closes so their employees
can be at home with their families ,I know I could
go tomorrow but thought I would take advantage
of Barb being here to get out

The New visiting Hospice nurse and case manager
arrived promptly at 1130am and Corine was very nice
so she will be back next Wednesday and Babby in 3 weeks
to check on Gil's condition
His oxygen level was down again today only 87...
She is also going to talk to his GP who still has a say to
see if she can get something other than the 1000mg pain pills
I have been giving him for the constant pain he is always
complaining about in his neck head and legs etc ,something
called Tramadol ?

Its a FULL MOON Saturday Vicky nono

So did you check your PM's as I see your "boss" was logged
in AGAIN yesterday

I will do the drinks ,watching The Legend of Hercules
Back later just made grilled cheese and tomato sarnies for lunch
probably fish or pizza for dinner being Good Friday
