Hi, well the kids are now dressed,James has just come down stairs got himself a bowl of cornflakes and gone back to bed, Im still trying to talk the other two to put their eye pads away and come outside and go blackberrieing
Sounds very posh Vicky, we just did a day tour but pulled in alot with the new camp, the olimic areas, the harbour and finished with the dancing horses, a full day with burgers in the hard rock cafe

Oh a brill place Bond.....though our hotel was really good,   all the different stars had stayed there The Beatles, Shirley Bassey, Willy Brandt, Christen Barnard, the cast of Monty Python, Lizza Minnelli,  Margot Fontaine, Ernest Hemmingway   top top hotel.

I had Steve 6 weeks early Carole, he was a dot only 5ib 13.  ...... I have to say I certainly don't agree with all this "Shopping" for a certain look that goes on these days.

As the kids get older these days Bond I find they don't want to trot round doing things with parents or grandparents as our kids used to.....  when I think back to all the things we did with our 3, things are so different now a days.   confused2    Oh well what ever you end up doing enjoy your day.

Right........back later.

Hope your trip to Frans goes well Carole.

Avatar is the Barcelona hotel we stayed in.....going towards the reception area.

Morning Bond ,I see you made it to Bed'uth
then and cleaned your 4x4 in and out to boot
Had mine to the drive through last week for
$29.95 washed wet wax dried and vac'ed all out
windows cleaned etc ,they did a nice job scooter1

Little Linda sent me a text last night with pictures
her daughter Georgia who is gay and married to
a girl and they live in Carolina ,well her partner and her
decided to have a baby ,so the partner was artificially
impregnated and was due Oct 6th {Spencer's birthday}
but she was taken in 6 weeks early as she had preclampsia
and was delivered of a 6 and a 1/2 pound 19/ 1/2 " long baby boy
last night ,no name she said yet ,seems they picked out a donor
with similarities to them both ,funny you can "Shop" for a look a like
baby now a days ....
So that makes THREE grandsons she has as her daughter Nicole
who is married to Bill has two sons who are now 18 and 16 yrs
William Jnr and Niko

Did not get the rude awakening as they said we might early this
morning a sprinkle is all we got here in Bridgeport ,they say the
nights will be cooler from now on 80
s during the day until next TUESDAY when the
90's WILL BE BACK along with the HUMIDITY headbanger

OK Frans this morning at 10am instead of 930am so must away
and get ready

Hope the ladies had a good night ....be back later run run run

I did think that with the schools and college off it would be easy but hold ups (no not yours Vicky) traffic hold ups at Coton Arches, when I hats done they will be Wizz in around that like a pea on a drum
So now here in Bedworth and Ive already cleaned the car inside and out so now its 10:00 and coffee and tea plus large L&L

Well the sunny  has been out this afternoon.

After Rob came along we said that was it....but when I got  to 33 I thought it would be nice to have another baby, though I said if I wasn't pregnant by my 35 birthday we'd call it a day....I got pregnant straight away.      Though a friend of mine said I was being selfish, having a baby at "My late age"     as I said to her...."Gosh yes when they're around 10 we'll be in our 40's ....heaven forbid"  Rolling Eyes        Luckily all 3 of mine were really good babies, and Susan was out of nappies day & night by the time she reached 5 months, she was brilliant.    I enjoyed all the kids......cut my teeth with Steve, not having a clue about babies, so when Rob came along I felt an expert, Smile

Oh that's good news about the fire being contained then Margaret

The news is better about the Ferguson fire,
its 100% contained which does not mean its
out by any means but it is mostly mopping
up the hot spots now. I haven't heard anything
about the Dardenelles fire which is further up
the mountain but I do know it has wiped out a
number of local fishing and hunting cabins
and some camp grounds and not touched a
horse trekking business thank goodness.

It tickles me that on the official emergency
site they still have reports of loose horses and
cattle wandering along some of the roads up there.
Not because of the fires but because either someone
forgot to make sure the gates were locked or the
animals broke themselves out (its not unheard of)
Horses and cows are much smarter than we give
them credit for.
One year it was a pot bellied pig!
Lots of places up there have exotic pets like Lamas.

Poor Chewy has bad tummy problem the last two days.
He must have got into something really rotten but
when you live where they do, there is always something
to get into on walks without being aware of it.
He is doing better, the vet put him on an antibiotic and
a soft diet until it clears up.
Its really overcast again today but still monsoonal in feel.
It got comfortable enough for me to do a whole lot of
stuff last evening. Cats litter boxes, mop the whole
kitchen floor and emptied out all the bins in the house
and took the recycles out to the big bins.
Going to take the 5x9 rug in the back room out today
to give it a good shake. Its surprising how much grit
gets underneath them on the hardwood floors.
I have damp mopped the floor in there after sweeping
and rolling up the rug to take outside.
I am taking lots of breaks so I don't get too sweaty.
Next up is to try once more to locate the B of A checkbook
I hid somewhere in the bedroom, if I can find it, it will give me
more time to call in for another batch of checks.
I don't write that many but the dentist and gardener like
me to pay by check and most contractors will take a check
over a credit card.

I am glad I got all mine over and done with early, I had
Melanie at 20 and Ian at 23 . Not knowing what I was in for
when Melanie had the colic for over a year and Ian turning
out to be the Energizer Bunny even then, I decided
I could not do it anymore. I have never been so tired in my
entire life. every time I easychair they were into something!

Of course Peter was a student first time round so he was off in
his study hall after classes. When Ian came he was a short course
lecturer so same problem, then it was flying in the Lincoln bomber
doing tests. I ran a 24/7 kitchen as both Peter and his working
partner from Handley-Page needed food after the flight for the day
was over before Roy drove back to his works.
Nothing changed when we came here. Its fun to look back but
I am glad we stopped at two or I would have been
Its breakfast time here and I want to get another good days work
in today. Slept like a baby last night! TTFN

Of course had we stayed in the UK that MIGHT
have happened but again it did not ,that was what
this time around SHOULD have been Sad

Glad your tum is feeling better and a spud did it

Just making dinner now ,boneless chicken strips with baby peas
and a dish made with "tater tots" cream of chicken and mushroom
soup and shredded mozzarella cheese  confused2

Morning Vicky , sorry to hear
you have an upset tummy today ,maybe
some Yogurt will help
Could be too much acid with the cherries confused2

Just looking at your "numbers" Tracie started late
having children as she was 29 when David was born
in '89 ,and 32 almost 33 when Chelsea was born in 1992

The weather girl Ginger on ABC America was saying people
in Seattle Washington were getting ASH falling on their 4x4 from Marge's side
and our weatherman here in CT said last weekend the hazy conditions
was also from the west coast Shocked

Anyway feel better off to trim some weeds ♪ WEEEEED ♪

 talking CHRISTMAS dinners in AUGUST
and now duster hoover on a TUESDAY
WHAT THE HECK BOND nono

WATCH YOUR TOES LADIES BOND
IS ON THE RAMPAGE
hoover hoover

Dry today only in the 70's but a bit more humid
the weatherman is saying ,but TOMORROW when
I see Fran headbanger  THUNDERSTORM first thing
before we slide into a few days of quiet less humid and sunny  days
Could be I get a NATURAL PERM if its as bad as he is saying

Water temp is about the same as the air temp today at 77f
that is like a warm bath ,I remember when we had the pool
in Stratford and on a day like today you would float around
feeling WET but not necessarily any  COOLER Shocked

OK so whats everyone else doing today .....I intend to trim the
side steps AGAIN of the weeds that keep growing where
the two trees used to stand that the landlady had cut down a few years
back ,its not that we USE the side steps as they are in need of repair
and she keeps saying they cannot be fixed ,I think otherwise and might
just take matters into my own hands very soon
The only one who would use the steps is the Oil delivery man in the winter
and would not want HIM to FALL dragging that oil pipe up and around
back into the inlet pipe ....

Be back later then

MORNING LADIES  whoops sorry Marge sorry ladies

CHEAT Vicky no it's just a matter
of knowing that there are so many tiles
with say six ,double six six one six two etc
and he could work out in his head what was
left to play etc etc Vicky Gil would NEVER cheat
was not his way

Marge sounds like your among some party goers lol
Good girl saying nay ,you will be getting behind on
your to do list funnytvprog

Gil cheated some how.....he wouldn't be able to know what was NOT in play (spots faced down)  or what was in your hand.   Some how or other he could see your tiles.   Ok say you and Gil were playing, you both pick 6 tiles leaving 16 tiles not in play....there is no way Gil would know what was in your hand and what wasn't in play.   He cheated, some how.   Could see your tiles.   Even if you and the boys were playing it would still leave you with 4 tiles out...spots face down.   He wouldn't be able to say which tiles were not in play and which were in someones hand.

Ah now if ALL the dominoes are played Margaret I get that but usually you don't play with ALL the dominoes.....usually 6 each player with the rest of the tiles spots faced down.

David is good at maths.....Matthew takes after him.

BTW Carole Aretha Franklin  was born March 42 and had her first son in Jan 55.  confused2  and then her second son 2 years later.   Two kids while she was under age, wonder she wasn't taken into care.

Yes I've also got my kids clinic cards, but of course not mine so I had no idea what I had or had not been vaccinated against.   As you say in those days they didn't keep records or were lost after a while.

Avatar is my best mate Jan, she stayed here for a week,  she is 47 in that photo....Susan is 15 and I'm 49.

Its why they forbid counting in Vegas, you can get thrown out
for counting cards.
Chances are in a game of dominos played by two people with
all the dominos it is possible to get a fair idea of what your
partner is holding as the game goes on.
Peter was also a wiz at mental math (which I am not!).

Its really overcast here this morning but it feels like the scullery
when its washing day, very humid , enough to fog up your
glasses. Presently its 72f with 80% humidity going to a high of
81f.
I cannot believe that some of the N/H ladies are having a pot
luck today, I opted out as I have so much catching up to do here
from the last round of partying. I already know what I am contributing
to the Labor Day pot luck so I have about two weeks of hard graft
to finally catch up.

I see there has been another outbreak of measles both here in
California and in the UK and Europe, mainly because parents are not
getting their children vaccinated. Its not a benign disease by any
means, it has nasty complications. People will not believe that the
mercury was taken out of the vaccination over a decade ago!

Yes, there is a danger of giving the vaccine too early to some babies,
their immune systems are not mature enough yet.
It is suggested that low birth weight babies delay having their shots
until they catch up weight wise.
I still have my kids baby clinic record books with the chart in the back
that shows what a normal weight curve should look like and how each
individual babies weight gain should be somewhere in that normal range.

My kids were inoculated twice because of a measles outbreak at one
of the big Universities here which was huge. It turned out that the
vaccine used in a particular year was not working so everyone who
had that initial shot got another one.
I had both kinds of measles as a child so I am OK.
I have no records of any vaccinations I may have had as a baby.
Being war time I guess they didn't keep track the way we do now.
Or they may have been destroyed by the incendiary bomb that hit
the baby clinic in Gulson Road.
I never found any records of that or being christened even in mums
secret drawer in her dressing table and this is where she kept all her
important papers.
My birth was registered thank goodness so I am alive!
Enough drivel for now , I need to work! TTFN

No Vicky that is HOW Gil would
sit and figure out what was left ,he would
know what he had obviously ,see what was
already down ,then count the tiles left on the table
face down and what ever number YOU had left and he worked
out what was left headbanger he DROVE ME
when he did this .....same with cards seeing how many in the suits
was already played etc

Well I splurged just now and bought a 10 bronze solar light set for
the front garden .....
I LOVE solar lights ....

Keeps clouding over and I was sweating even though they say its
supposed to be less humid today ....
Boy don't take much to fill you up these days does it confused2
you must have shriveled your stomach when you were sick

Being as Blaine did not eat his dinner last night {pork spare ribs}
that will be his dinner tonight ,took out a large steak that I have cut in 1/2
for Spencer and I ,thinking of sauteing some onions and some of the
tomato's Blaine brought home from a friends garden {I am still picking
around 10 cherry ones from my one plant} every day ...have to think
what else I can put with it
Right now I am eating left overs to get rid of them

Be back later

No no what I'm saying Carole is when the dommie dommie dommie  are *spots face down* so Gil or anyone can't see what's on the table he couldn't know what's in your hand.   You obviously have the spots on show on the table......is that the case?    The dommie  which haven't been in play should be spots face DOWN so the other players can't know what you've  picked up or what's on the table NOT IN PLAY..

Well had chips to start with and then cherry pie and iced cream.....3 cups of tea.    I'm stuffed.   And a good natter.

Finished my book yesterday.....ever so good.    I'm going to start reading the book Rob bought me   "Murder At Hartigan House"  by Lee Strauss.

Whoops sorry got mixed up about your
outings Vicky ,enjoy your lunch with
then ...

That documentary was slightly off Bond
as this is from her BIO

Children Aretha Franklin

But life on the road also exposed Franklin to adult behaviors,
and at the age of 14, she became a mother for the first time
with a son, Clarence. A second child, Edward, followed two
years later — with both sons taking her family's name.
Franklin would later have two more sons: Ted White, Jr.
and Kecalf Cunningham.

Her mother died at a very young age it said ...

Well hope everyone has a good day our weather is supposed
to be a lot less humid today but some of it will return tomorrow Mad
Can handle the heat most days its the humidity that KILLS a body Shocked

I saw Melanie was posting a picture of her and Jim on FB Marge
with Chewy standing behind them ,he looks a lot like Tracie's dog
Timmy with the ears
Guess she came back early from what it was she said she was going
to be attending ,they looked happy enough ,do you think they are
mending "fences"

My sister said she lost 2lb at WW this week she is at her goal but
has to keep under that number ,she also said Derek had helped
her find a bra that fits her right to give her more uplift as she had
been wearing the wrong size ,I have been TELLING her for YEARS
she needed to do this ,as we should wear our "girls" high and proud
not at our waist lines  funnytvprog ah well she is only 65 she will LEARN  funnytvprog
My mum had the same problem with her "Slingshots" never wore
the right size or bra cup size
OK one little birdie just flew away so I can get my  washingmachine
done after Spencer {my 2nd birdie} goes

As to the dommie dommie that is EXACTLY what Gil did
they know how many are in a set ,and look at whats down on the table
and their hand then figure out whats left to play all in heir HEADS
He had such a great mind for doing all this ,same as math could
figure out anything with out writing it down on paper like I have to

That was when I knew it was affecting his brain as towards the end
he was having trouble working out numbers and would count his
$$ over and over and have a blank look on his face like it was
not registering confused2

SO MORNING MARGE

Back later run run run run

Ah Chelsea.....when Coventry City was in the Prem League we used to love playing against Chelsea because we used to beat them.  cheers

Malc is a great supporter of Coventry City of course.  cheers and of course Choccy P .....as are the Sitton Bros

Yes I still can't understand how Gil could do that....most of the dommie dommie dommie  would be face down so how did he know what was in your hand.....they could have been the dommie dommie  faced down on the table.   confused2

No Carole I'm going with  for a birthday meal today not Bev.....Bev & Evette have gone today to Blackpool coming back Friday.

Wow didn't know that about  Aretha Franklin Bond....... flippen heck.

Boy Malc will be headball
then ....Yes Marge I meet a lot of people over here
all fans of mostly MU headball
Chelsea and her fiancee James like and follow "Chelsea"
and not because of the  same name funnytvprog said
a few visits ago that they had seen them playing ...

Well Spencer washingmachine  his unforms and yelled up
he was going out but would be home early because its back to work
tomorrow ,Blaine went to visit two mates then would probably
end up down at Seaside Park where they normally do where some
of them gather to play domino's across from the sea shore ,funny they
BOTH enjoy playing the games their Dad used to do, very much so
he used to tick me off though as he could figure out what was left
in his head and knew what I HAD in my hand when WE PLAYED headbanger
same with cards

So Bev's taking you out tomorrow and aren't you going with
too this week ?

I decided to go mow the back n front grass ,its never looked SO GOOD
but did not want it getting TOO long as then it would be a harder job
to cut .....
And so YES I WILL NOW Sleep  VERY WELL Vicky lol!

Sounds like you have everything in hand Marge ,did you ever get
your locks  trimmed,I see Fran this week cannot again believe its been a month

Good morning from the left coast.
Its currently 79f going to a high of 81f
with humidity at 75% (feeling very
steamy)and the sunny is breaking through
the clouds and sea mist.
Happy Anniversary to all who celebrate one
on this day. I will be drinking a toast of champagne
to Peter and thanking him for being in my life as long
as he was. I would have been a mess without him
taking care of me.
Ian and Rebecca are in Provence WITH Barry and Sheila
it turns out(I did not know that). Melanie is on a NA ladies
campout this week end so Jim is doggy sitting once more.
I feel alright about being on my own now but I still miss
the little rituals Peter and I had for so many years.

I have more than enough things to keep me occupied though.

Bet Malc is happy, Brighton beat Man U 3-2!
Man U looked really badly organized. I am used
to see them playing a poor first half but this was a nightmare!
The commentators were saying that with the players who played
in the World Cup it is shear fatigue and with the team touring
in what should have been their off period, they got no real rest.
I guess the $$$ was a big incentive.
You would be surprised how many fans there are of English football
overseas and not just the Brits!

It looks like the cats have settled in for the morning, they are both curled
up asleep by the window in here. Hope it stays that way when I get up from
the computer or if they will follow me.
I do not want to cook anything in this heat except heat up a microwave entrée.
Its mostly salads and sandwiches or tortilla roll ups with salad on the side.
I stay away from the fast food places as much as possible. I can
have Chinese from Panda Express or Mexican from Taco Bell to vary my
diet once in a while when what I really want is a large Pizza!
Oooh, my mouth is watering just writing the word, See you all later........

Yes I did enjoy my job and was proud
of the fact that I was GOOD at it
MY immediate boss was the Controller
John Crisanti ,he would tell people he KNEW
when I was not at the switchboard {I had four
girls who relived me during the day from different
depts ,Ruth was one } as he used to get calls
put through that he did not want that would never
have been allowed if I was on duty funnytvprog
I would screen the 'bosses " off ALL depts calls
so they were not given calls that I could or someone else
could handle
The reason I was hired was the day I went for an interview
they put me out on the "board" to see if I knew HOW to work it
a call came in collect from the Treasurer Bill Berky who I found out
after was on vacation but he was calling in collect ,I could see
by the notes on the switchboard the names of the big bosses
and his was among them so with out waiting to ask if it was ok
to accept a collect call I accepted it,he wanted to talk to John Crisanti
who told me later that Bill was very impressed that I took the initiative
to do that not even being hired then just trying me out so to speak
funnytvprog
Another reason was I had this thing about remembering peoples "voices"
and names so when they would call in I would say well goodmorning
Mr So and so how are you today ,my president Woody Blaisdell
told me one time that the president of one of our biggest customers
was tickled pink that I recognized him every time he called ,he was
from Texas and told Woody ,that is a rare gem you have there better
take care of her ,and while he was alive he DID
He would probably have been spinning in his grave when they laid me
off and went to an automatic answering service , you know press 1 for so
& so etc our company was in business over 160+ yrs making machines
always had an operator and receptionist until then
He was also proud and would boast to our clients that his was the ONLY
business in CT {at that time at least} with a TRUE British operator as my
accent was stronger back then ,but over the years I guess its become
American as when i went to see Gilly in 1995 a taxi driver asked
in a VERY British accent 'Elo luv where you from in the states then?" Shocked

Well tonight I should Sleep well as my new mattress and box spring
arrived and Spencer fixed my base ,when moving the bed over to make
room for the hospital bed the little legs that were holding up the wood slats
had gone sideways when they dragged the bed over ,so he redid the screws
and all is secure once more

Hope you OK Marge we ARE ALL thinking of you

I have some boneless pork spare ribs marinating and have just
made rice to go with them and the veggies I shall cook for dinner
tonight
So far the rain has held off but a lot less humid outside than it has been'

Be back again run run run

Morning........well it's grey out there, looks like rain.

Thanking of you Margaret seeing it's David & my wedding anniversary also.

You can pop into your local chemist to discus things anyway Bond.

You're right Bond the little black dress can be worn any time,  and it's a great idea to open such a shop.   As I said I wore a black dress yesterday.

When I opened our anniversary cards this morning one wasn't an anniversary card but a card from my old friends daughter, she was telling me Betty had passed away on the 8th.   I'll have to get a card to send to Betty's daughter & son.   6 years ago she moved into a home when she couldn't manage in her own home any longer.    We exchanged Christmas Cards every year.

Good morning all from Atherstone a bit grey over here but not cold
Yes I agree the little black dress can look very glam, the ladies I was with last night were saying its the wrong time of year to open a black dress shop as ladies would be looking for bright colours and flower patterns, I said I think the little black dress can look good anytime of the year and if by magic a lady walked by looking stunning in a off the shoulder number with strappy heels and a tan, I had to point her out,
Yes talk to  the chemists is good, when they changed my tablets at the hospital from bisoprolo to Rampril the pharmasist at the hospital did say if I had any problems don't put up with them as there are others that would do the same thing, the doctor had never said that,
Breakfast and it's cornflakes and warm milk, toast and marmalade Coffee tea orange juice and large L&L and blackberries from yesterday

Vicky the instructions/info we get
is not off the box of meds it's all written up
and attached to the bag they put your pills in

I love black dresses after Gil and I married in '59
I changed into this really cute black dress it had
a straight neck line that dipped slightly in the rear
and was  a straight skirt with a black satin bow  that
sat at the waist line

My nan said I was going from a wedding to a funeral

Hello Marge ,same here with my
scripts ,get all the info on what they are
and how they could affect you ,I am lucky that
at the Walgreens branch I go to I am on
first name basis with most and they all know me
so I can ask questions if need be

Glad your tea went well ,we seem to be suffering
from the same weather Marge ,they are SAYING
next week should not be as humid

I know tomorrow you might be sad ,but you could
instead he happy and think back on the wonderful life
you had with pete
I think our original wedding date ,,Nov 28 1959 is
going to make me feel sad knowing Gil is no longer
here with me ,but until then I am pushing forward
and thinking positive dwelling on memories sometimes
is not good I know that ...

Well looks like BOND recovered fast enough being as he's
gone off out buggying

Waiting on Spencer to finish work at 4pm
He will probably stay over carmen's tonight as there's
only two nights he can do that now

Instructions which are in the box of your medication is covering their backs by stating side effects you could have, might not, but could      Though as you say Margaret asking the Chemist for advice is a good thing to do.

Oh I do like "Little black dress"  I'll have to have a look at that shop Bond.....though I do have 3 little black dresses......in fact I've got a black dress on today.

With every prescription refill I get sheet with
all known side effects of what I am taking.
Pharmacist should be aware of any interaction
between what you are already taking and any new
drug. Here I can ask the pharmacist to take time to
explain or answer questions I have, it only takes a few
minutes of time OR you can go to WebMD on
line and most times they have the information you
need to be an informed patient.
Not every drug suits every patient, our bodies try
to tell us if we are taking something that does not
agree with us or the other meds we are taking.
As I said, if I had to choose between stop taking a drug
or taking another drug to take care of the side effects
of the first one, I would choose not to take drug #1.
We need to be aware that Drs. are not Gods to put on
a pedestal, they like to think they are but are human like
the rest of us.

The Tea went very well, 8 of us in attendance and it was the usual
tiny sandwiches and treats and a selection of desserts, all of it
finger food except for the tiny ice creams.
Nancy still has all her silver serving tea pot and hot water jugs
and we all ate off real china plates and drank our of the most
delicate china cup collection.
We kind of planned what we will do for the Labor Day get together.
If its as hot as it is now, its all going to be a cold buffet which
we will be doing in Nancy's garden. she has a corner house so her
front lawn is bigger than any of the other houses.
I think I will do a tortilla rollup platter with ham and cheese sliced
into tiny pinwheels and do the drinks again.

its so humid at the moment that I feel all sticky even after taking
a shower! Its 74f and cloudy with 83% humidity at the moment
and they are forecasting a high of 80f which will feel like at least
85f even if the humidity goes down during the day.
Ocean temps in the Santa Monica Bay is 71f, tepid bath water.
Its back to the slog today. I don't know how I will feel tomorrow
as it would have been Peter and my anniversary .our 57th one.
Time has been elastic since he has been gone, sometimes it feels
like it was only yesterday and sometimes it feels like it was a lifetime
ago. I was not ready for it to stop when it did.
I have given myself permission to start writing a new chapter in my
book of life . In looking back to where I started I am amazed that
I have come so far for a Coventry girl of very humble beginning's ,
born during war time. I think there is some truth in the fact that
we all have an inner core of City pride that bind us together as
Coventry Kids.

the feeling of indigestion can also be
a concern so don't let it go too long ok

Well my new mattress and box spring are coming
tomorrow ,just in time too as my bed broke already
THREE times when I sat on the corner Shocked
Gil had been telling me to get them for ages as
we needed them but I said we could not afford them
Any way when the boys remove the old ones
they get fix the base ...

A mixed bag today weatherwise so far it's hot humid and
dry but they say we could see more storms later popping up

Mrs B should go and get reflux tablets off the doctor....too many Rennie's are bad and every night is too many.

Went out and bought Benjie's food at Dobbies.....usually get them from the pet shop in Leics but today we just went to Dobbies, just bought the food nothing else.

Susan & Matt's anniversary today....their 5th, Matt got in touch with the florist she got all the flowers from, they said they'd look their records up and do the flowers as they had on the wedding day. So it was a surprise when they rang the bell and they were standing their with these flowers. Matt is so romantic. Going out for a meal tonight.....and a long weekend to Cornwall, early Sunday until Tuesday.
