Will Barbara be able to look after the catmilkbowl , feed and vets bills seeing she's short of money?

funnytvprog  Oh I used to play at being on an Island Bond surrounded by sharks when Lily was visiting, we used to run across the cushions dive onto the sofa before a shark got us.   Smile

Good afternoon all, its been a lovely day here so a bit of everything, painting the stage floor, then a bit of work in the garage then so blackberries picking but not much left now
Its the Leading Players AGM SO we should know what the Christmas show is, the general idea is its going to be about Pirates, last week they played games around this with lost on a island and sharks in the sea, to the music of( baby shark) you can find it on YouTube, its the music of the summer
I can smell food so back later

Think its time I made another meat pie
like my Avatar
Barbara says that is a thing she misses
as I always fed her while she was here
and gave her stuff to take home for later
that I had left over

Always nice having some one to "start the ball rolling"
Vicky, and I am sure Susan and Matt have their own ideas
on what they want in the new house .....

She likes Ireland a lot @ ,another place I never got to while
living in the
That is what shocked my Mum when we moved here ,she said
couldn't we have just moved to another town etc not 3500 miles
away Rolling Eyes had no choice back then as Gil was calling the shots confused2
I could have let him go alone but I would not have had the ££
to stay home pay the mortgage and raised our three who were only
then 2-4 and 6 yrs old even if he could have sent $$ home it was not
an answer so I went with him ,I know he regretted THAT decision many
times figuring if we had stayed put we may never have divorced

Don't know what Barb did with that lady Vicky {she was giving them away
did not pay anything for him} I did tell her to call her and tell her off
and to tell her she was doing wrong feeding a baby kitten whole food so young
but right now she is concentrating on working as she needs the $$$
She was married to an idiot ,has three children by him youngest is 16
and even though he could help her financially he does not
He is also a good deal OLDER than she is ,she then got involved with
a man who says he was looking for a good Jewish woman ,uses or should
I say USED Barb but treated her like dirt ,that was before I told her to
drop him like a HOT SPUD ,she deserved better ,so now she is as I said
concentrating on her career ,she is a smart woman only a few years
older than Tracie ,so I wish her well ......

They just called truck should be ready in an hour just have the
Alignment to do then he will come get me so I can take him back to
the shop and pay him

Yes David's doing the plans......he's phoned Susan's Council and started the ball rolling, they could have left it to the builder to sort out but David's done lots of planning details before over the years and knows what's what. Though it's up to Susan & Matt what they want done, they've asked David's advice about various things ....what's the best way to go about doing a certain project etc. but it's up to them at the end of the day.

Susan's working from home today......she's off to Ireland at the weekend then coming here in two weeks so she can go out with some ex work mates.

Did Barbara do anything about the woman who sold her the kitten which died, which should have still been with it's Mother?

her to find one a bit older and get it from somewhere
she knows it will be ok catmilkbowl

She will be off Monday but has work or school
for the next two weeks 7 days a week
as she signed up for some classes at the local
Community college ,still has her two patients ONE
on Tues/Thursday ,the other Saturday /Sunday
and has pulled the 7-3pm shift to start working /orientation
at the Northridge Nursing home ,where she hopes
eventually to get on full time ,as working for the agencies like
she does if a patient passes or recovers and she is no longer
needed ,she is out of a job till they did her someone else  confused2

Anyway I shall return run run

We'd said the same only last night Bond about the nights drawing in.....

Oh no you take dogs to the vet to have their nails clipped,   we always took our guinea-pigs to the vet to have their nails clipped as you say Margaret so easy to hit the quick.     When Rob was married they had 3 cats...2 were Persian so house cats but Willow was an outdoor cat.....none had ever had their claws trimmed.  The two house cats had a scratching post, which they did use.... Same goes for Steve & Claire they've always had cats.....they've only got the one at the moment, Benny, though he went missing for a month, Claire put posters everywhere even went on FB asking people to keep their eyes open for him, and then he walked in as though he'd never been missing.  They thought he'd gone for good,   they also had Coco

Oh Susan's on the phone, though David's talking to her about the plans at the moment, he's drawn them up to send off.....later.

Ditto to THAT Mrs Porter ,as I said
SOME cats will not use those scratching posts
you get ,now Tabitha uses one Tracie's cat before
she left for Florida did not use every morning she comes
up here and pounds on it ,now Buddy is a different kettle
of fish ,his favorite if I do not watch him is my sofa back
as I mentioned or my NEW CARPET
And again I never TRIED to trim Saba's nails that quik
that runs thru their nails can be easily cut in fact I have had a
VET accidentally cut it and had to stop the bleeding Shocked
So NO talktohand to that ......

Well my weight is on the downwards path once more I would
like to be a little lower or what I was when I saw Lisa my Nutritionist
last and I see her Oct 3rd ,I was the lowest I have been since putting
this on the week before Gil passed ,then its been 2 to 4 lbs up and then down
{and no Vicky not chips or chocolate nono } seem to have lost my
craving for them like I used to have ...
So THAT is a good thing as I still want to lose about 20lbs ....

Once more the news is Hot -Hot-Hot weather for us today
they had thought it would be going down more but looking at
the TV screen its still got that proper temp of 92f as our high ,then
it was SUPPOSED to have dropped next week but now they are showing the
temps in the high 80's and also the 90's even here along the coast AGAIN
Normally we have started to drop off starting September , but what
is NORMAL THESE DAYS confused2 ...

Looks like your back in your "Leading Players" mode Bond
do you know whats planned yet for the next episode ?

Hope Marge had a good Sleep ,before you know it it will be
time to throw the clock BACK {Nov 4th over here }
,I just HOPE Buddy knows tired tired
As you said Bond the nights and early mornings are getting darker
already Rolling Eyes

MORNING VICKY

Ah well should get my 4x4 around noon'ish as John called me
last night said all they have left to do is an Alignment the back brakes
{as I told them to go ahead and do them now while they had it there
even though I still had some tread on mine } and to put the Travisteen
belt on {that is the belt that the engine will not run with out}
which should not take THAT long as they will get on it as soon as
they open at 8am

So belly up to the bar folks the cool {or hot drinks } are on me

My cats do not go outside so no natural way
for them to hone their claws, and they do get
like needles. They get so sharp they can draw
blood! (I only do their front claws anyway.)
Believe me they can still manage to shred a
carpet covered cat stand!
If they got outside they would still be able to
climb a tree.

I would never try and clip a dogs nails as I
would be too scared I would hit the quick,
that needs a professional.

Bond, I also make book lists of every book series
so I don't read them out of order.
Looking forward to my dinner to night chattable

Good evening all, not a bad night but it is getting dark earlier now,  I hadn't noticed until working out tonight,
A bit of a restful night now, it's been a nice day able to have a walk into town and able to pick up another Jack Reacher book, best thing I did make a list of all his books and tick them off as I get them.
Sorry about the fruit then Vicky
Carole there is a couple of nectarines

Oh nothing like real cornish pasties from Cornwall......you order them and they're packed up frozen so they're just put straight into the freezer when you get home OR into the fridge if you want the pasties to thaw out and eat the next day.       Anyway these were lovely, though in the past Susan's brought us some that John (Matt's Dad) brought back from Cornwall once......this time they did bring about 24 back, 2 for us, a couple of Matt's parents, some for Becky & Jamie and some for Hannah & Andy and of course some for themselves.

Talk of the devil.....awww, no Susan's just rang.

Oh well back later.

Oh yes took lots of photos..... they're having the house blessed by the Vicar today,

They've got some water features in the garden, one Benjie didn't like.....they had to pull the blinds down in the Conservatory so he couldn't look out and see this stone statue.   That will be going though.

No I didn't buy anything Carole.....saw a lovely bag and lots of nice dresses but I didn't spend.

As to    she wasn't happy at all......she'd phoned me   telephone    "You said you'd ring me when you got back"

I was brought up with cats Carole, never known any to show their claws .....but you'll not find a vet in this country advising an owner to cut, or to have their cats/kittens claws trimmed.     I know some in America de-claw but you'll never find that happening over here.....vets are very against even puppies having their tail docked these days never mind de-clawing a  catmilkbowl  just so they didn't scratch the furniture..... Mad

Oh yes I've had cats kneed on my tum or in my lap Margaret..... confused2  no problem.    But then our cats went out and blunted their claws on a wall, flag stones or trees.

I'm not sure if I can have plums Bond. Sad

Susan brought us some real cornish pasties back from Cornwall so that's what we're having now..

Later......

Morning Marge ,so I did not wake you
today lol but after you have made my mouth
water I shall sit here and sulk
When Gil and I were first remarried we took a few
trips over on the Port Jefferson ferry to Long Island
as just after you get off and walk up the main street
there is a small mall and we discovered a Brit shop
ran by a family from Manchester ,one side was all the staples
I crave after ,and then the other side they had a small
area with about 10 tables were you could order fresh made
English made meals like you mentioned ,unfortunately they
closed as the wife's mother was ill and they returned to
the UK to be with her ,what a loss Sad

Barry sounds like Gil in a way ,being born in Middlesbrough
it must be a Yorkshire trait ,stubborn ....God bless him

Exactly my thoughts Marge about my  4x4 ,Spencer suggested
getting a new car when I got the insurance money ,but my
thoughts were ,I am almost 76 ,I do not travel far so WHY do
I NEED a  BRAND NEW CAR  confused2

So to me spending $2000 on  a 2005 yr old car is acceptable

Wish they would hush up about this heat ,it's nasty and I feel
for people like my son who have to labor underc jag in it ...
When Spencer worked in his last job he and the other three
employees chipped in and bought a regular sized fridge so
they could not only put their food in it but also keep cold water and
drinks and the ice pops I would buy him that come 25 in a pack
as it had a full size freezer ,where he is now it reminds me of my
FIRST  fridge where two or three boxes of Birds Eye peas  FILLED
the freezer compartment UP  headbanger so I cannot give him
them to keep frozen to help cool them down

Made dinner came out good ,love making the steak in my air fryer
healthy and comes out great

I guess you have never had a cat "knead bread"
on your tummy or thigh then Vicky.
they can sharpen their claws to needle points
and dig right in your skin!
I do trim my cats front claws only every two weeks.
Its just to take the points off.
Mine prefer sharpening their claws on my carpet even
though they have many objects that have rippled
cardboard for that purpose.

It seems my son and his wife Rebecca have decide to
stay a little longer in Provence than they told me.
His M and FIL are still enjoying the good weather and
good simple country food while they can.

Barry just turned 80 which is a milestone for him as he has
had so many health problems over the last 10 years.
He had a bad accident many years ago on his way to a
performance (in England) and was not expected to live
but he is a stubborn Yorkshire man and they are like
terriers who won't give up. How he drove all that way to Provence
I will never know! He already did it in the spring, even
though it took 4 days to get there instead of the two days it took
Ian when I was with them.

The group is off to one of our favorite coffee shops this evening, Co-Co's.
Its Pam and Michaels favorite place to eat after closing up their shop.

Its called The British Connection. The next closest one we have is Ye Olde
Kings Head in Santa Monica which is about 10 miles away. They have a
restaurant attached with real British menu items.

I love their Ploughmans for lunch with a shandy. It contains half a
pork pie and a big lump of cheese with lettuce and tomato and
a pickled onion and some Branston with a chunk of crispy crust bread.
Cornish Pasties, Fish and Chips or a Guinness steak pie or Toad in
the hole are staples on the menu.
Its all done out like an English Pub even down to the dart boards!
The original owner was a Birmingham supporter and hung his team
scarf behind the bar. He retired some time ago but all the photos
are still on the walls.

Carole, that's a whopping bill but sometimes its better to get it all
taken care of so you don't have to think about it this coming winter.
It was the same the first time I took Big Red in after Peter passed
away. so many things he had neglected that I just told them to
make it safe to drive. Fortunately Ian was still here so we got a
lot taken care of in one operation.
The Gassers Garage seem to know their way around the big engine
so that's where I will take it next time. Its running fine right now.

So that's where you went Bond
any nectarines they are all plentiful now

Just had a call from the service station
listing what's wrong with my truck
,the bottom line it's going to cost about $2000
well I did tell them to look find and
FIX what was needed ,some things may have been
wrong with it when I bought it ,but that was 4yrs ago
next month and it's been running ok except for the a/c
problem ,so it's ball joints a control arm brakes (he said
I still had some wear on them but figured might as well get
everything done now ,wheel bearing and something that is leaking
in the sensor
So hoping all will be completed by noon tomorrow

Catch you later

Well at least I see you made
happy .....Hope you took some pictures
of the house AND GARDEN Vicky ...as you know
I LOVE GARDENS ,Malc's and Maria's is looking great
with what they have done to their new one from the couple she
posted on FB

I cannot believe its gone THAT cold over there that your WEARING
JEGGINGS AND A SWEATER Vicky .....

Some cats do not use a scratching post {namely Buddy} I have had to put
something on the back of my sofa where he climbs into the bay window
as he in and OUTS there {claws}  ...I ALWAYS trimmed Mittens claws to keep them
from digging into you ,and your right MOST cats do not claw you
on PURPOSE when being cuddled but SOME DO nono
Last night in bed Buddy cuddled up into the back of my legs
I put my hand and arm around him and he started to "nibble"
on my hand and arm not really hard but I dare not move my arm
too fast as KNEW he would then dig in ,its like he gives us "LOVE BITES"
funnytvprog

Sounds like you enjoyed your visit though and also ATE I am assuming
and did YOU SPEND  your £££ confused2

My closet is starting to get FULL

OK making steak with some oven potato's for later quick and easy
as will cook the steaks in the Air-fryer  so only have to cook the potato's
which will not take long and will not heat the kitchen up

OK so where's Bond with my LARGE L & L ........

cheers  Yeah I'm back......sorry didn't get in last night, we set off home later than was planned so by the time we got home, unpacked,  but the dirty clothes in the washingmachine  had a nibble, spoke on the telephone  to  "You said you'd ring me when you got back"    for me to have to tell her we'd been back half an hour IF THAT.  David then came on here to do some changes to the house plans.... I was then ready for my bed.

Yes it  all Sunday....but we went out anyway and had a lovely meal,  Sunday was Susan's birthday.    Monday we went to Clifton for the day....and yesterday we went to the Mall which is only 6 minutes :driver:  from Susan's house.  I love the Mall, of course we had a meal ....Susan and me still had lots of birthday money to spend,  Susan bought a cover for her Kindle but that was all.

I love love love their house....even without all the changes they want to do it's still a lovely...and BIG house.    You'd love the gardens Carole.

I remember when growing up you could leave your  :house:  unlocked.......not any more.

Jack & Lily go back to school tomorrow Carole but Matthew & Laura aren't back until next week.

affraid  NO you don''t trim a cats claws.....they wear their claws down themselves, either on a indoor cat post or they claw outside on a wall or tree....what ever, and most cats pull their claws in when they're being cuddled by their owner etc.    confused2   Cats only use their claws to fight back if they're being attacked.   Or to catch something like one of their toys.

Becks (Matt's Sister)  came round with Jos (10 month old)  Nessie is used to him and she goes up to him licks his hand and then leaves him alone, we didn't know how Benjie would be but he was so loving to Jos,  it's as though they know he's only a baby and they have to be careful with him.   .

I agree with you Bond it isn't very warm.....in fact I've got jeggings and a sweater on.

Ok back later.

Well Bond better leave a LARGE pitcher
in the fridgefood as its going to stay
in the 80's over night
The magic #'s in Bridgeport are
88f proper temp 78 humidity making it FEEL like 98f
TOO too much ,Spencer was drained

My 4x4 will be staying over night and into tomorrow
as I know for SURE it needs ball joints {my son told me
already} plus the garage says one control arm needs replacing
my brakes are still ok but there was something else ,plus
the problem with my A/C not coming out the vents is
something to do with a switch arm on the left that switches
between the defroster to vents that the idiot must have
yanked out when I took it back as there was a noise under
my dash board confused2 have no idea HOW MUCH all this will
cost but he said he will let me know tomorrow as they do things
Some I may have to go back another day to get fixed , confused2
this heat is BAD for businesses like this ...

So I am GROUNDED till at LEAST Thursday, and I HATE being with out
wheels headbanger
Good job I got groceries in Sunday ....

OK so could we possibly see Ms Vicky in tomorrow
Hope so otherwise Sir G might have a TANTRUM

Night Bond ...Night Marge I will try not to wake you tomorrow

OK,OK, I am wide awake after your
ping on my FB messenger Lady B. Shocked

I had a bit of a restless night , not
for any reason but finally got up and
fed the cats about 7:15am and
promptly fell back asleep!

The weather felt very hot yesterday
afternoon and I just wilted.
This morning it is cooler again and
the humidity has dropped somewhat
so no fans this morning.

Had a long talk with Melanie yesterday
on the phone. She and Jim spent Sunday
together sorting out his "man cave/office"
and after his meeting in town they went
for a walk with Chewie and to the dog park.
Most of our talk revolved around what our
animals had been up to lately.

It seems that she is feeling better than she
has in years with her Crohn's so that's good
to hear. She says that Jims progress is coming
along but it is early days yet. He is dealing with a
a problem with his smart car which is at the
dealers while he is driving a loaner car. Its put
the first bit of stress on him since he got clean.
He is due back in court in November to report
to the judge on his progress and I know he
wants this to a good report card.

He is doing volunteer work at the sober living
thrift store which is run by the wife of the man
that's in charge of the sober living place.
He is going to support meetings every day and
seeing his sponsor every week and his councilor
twice a week. so making a tremendous effort to
keep with the program. We both agree its better
to be apart to do this so they can both work on
their own issues away from each other.

She says she seeing the side of Jim that attracted
her to him in the first place. He still has to be able
to get past the 6th month mark which is his weak
point and she has said she will give him a year
and then will see how they are both progressing.

Being clean and sober is not easy by any means.
It is a conscious effort to replace old thinking with
new thinking and it is literally one day at a time.
To say that Melanie has 25 years clean and sober
is wonderful, others in the group have 35 years clean
and are setting a great example for the newbies.
I am so grateful that Melanie is still alive after all she
has been through. There have been times when I
was preparing for the worst but she is so like her
Dad with her stubborn streak. As she says ,she just
keeps swimming.
Love to all.

Here is what they are saying the weather in Bridgeport
will be for the next few days

https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Bridgeport+CT+06604:4:US

Numbers do not reflect the heat index which pushes it to 100+ /37c

Always subject to change of course ....all I know is it FEELS mighty
HOT behind my window blinds that are drawn SHUT

Wonder if Marge slept in .....

OK still waiting on that telephone  on the GMC
so will be back later

Made a LARGE jug of lemonade left it in the fridgefood

Well dropped off the truck ,Tony said they will call me
I told him what ever it needs done ,do it ....
So that should be possible ball joints ,a bearing in one wheel
as my ABS light is on ,and find out why my heat and a.c.
does not blow through the vents only through my defroster
vents and

Ahh yes so the UK still starts back in September
keep in mind over here they start back in August but
also finish late May early June

Yes the temps getting up there bond ,87f at 1030am
but with the dew point at 74% it's already feeling like
97f and the humidity is at 66%
So not a good day to be outside of having to work
at a job like Spencer is doing or Tony fixing my truck
Blaine is lucky as their factory ,American Tool and Die
has A/C

Just made stuffed red and green peppers for dinner
So just sitting watching House hunters on tv till they
call me
Wonder if Vicky is coming back late or early

Hi Carole, yes this should be our last day of sitting the kids as they start back next week
It sounds like its very hot there with over, 100 in old English
The kids are up now well dressed but still up stairs playing on their games linked in with other people so they don't have yo get out of their bedrooms
I didn't remember to bring a book but hoping to go blackberrieing later possibly on my own
Yes they have all the toys for Teddy, feathers on a fishing pole (See what I did there) even a lazer pen that he loves to Chase
Well I can hear steps on the stairs so must be lunch time

Morning to you in Bed'uth Bond
when do the kids go back to school
there still start in Sept ?
They started here yesterday and now today
most will be dismissing early because of this
heat we will be getting the next couple of days
Hartford which is the capital of CT will be feeling like
105f ......and only because we are right at the shoreline
it will ONLY feel like 97f here in Bridgeport

Cute kitty though Bond and you need to get one of
his toys on a string to play with him ,do they trim his claws
best to start THAT when they are little so they let you do it
I have only been able to cut one of Buddy's since he has been
inside as he will not have it ,but my old cats TZ  & Mittens would let me
hold them and trim their claws on a regular basis

Spencer is lucky as when Tabitha puts her paws on his face and head
her claws are NEVER out ,SHE LOVES HIM to death as he will hold her
in his arms belly up and she stretches her paws out and touches his
face etc funnytvprog

They are warning everyone today to drink extra water
by FRIDAY we DROP into the 70's cheers

Sir G I told you Vicky is not due back till TODAY nono

Bond make sure you shut the door after you leave ...

MORNING MARGE  hope your night was a good one again ...
are you able to garage either BR or BB ? was just wondering
after you said someone wanted to buy BR and you have them sitting
parked out front assuming you have the bar lock on the steering wheel
or alarmed as one never knows THESE days confused2

Dropping my 4x4 off at 8am so I shall be BOCK as Arnold is
known to say run run run

Saw the Swiss drum corp on U tube Bond
they were FABULOUS ,hope someone puts this years
on then ....
Spencer is home taken his shower then off to see Carmen
for a couple of hours ......
Blaine normally rolls home around 730-8pm ,he works
as I said during the summer months 10 hr days so gets out
at 530pm so seems to think he should kick up his heels
for a couple of hours down at the seashore instead of coming
home to relax confused2

We have an excessive heat warning for tomorrow and Wednesday
I am dropping my 4x4 off at 8am so they can see what ever needs
to be fixed and fix it,they will drop me home and I HOPE bring it back
when its ready as we only live a 10min drive away from the shop
So I shall be grounded tomorrow

Oh and my 6-4-9 came out as 6-9-4 this lunch drawing so that is
$41.50 for my $1 bet ...DRINKS are on ME Bond belly up to the bar
guys

I see Trump is NOT happy someone at the White House RAISED
the after it was lowered Sunday instead of leaving it down till
the person is buried which will be Wednesday when they bury him
at the Naval academy next to one of his class mates he was a TRUE hero
Guess Trump is annoyed because he was not invited to the funeral
but they butted heads a LOT so I can understand John not wanting HIM there

Anyway I am off to lay down felt tired this afternoon tired

Catch you tomorrow fan fan fan tired fan fan fan

Evening all, been watching the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2018, I always look forward to the Swiss Top Secret drums corps they have been doing Edinburgh for six years and get better each year usually ending with fire, this year the drum sticks shot out little rockets and then burst In to flames plus the ends of the flag pole turned into giant sparklers
The others that are also good are the America air force colour gaurd with the spring rifles
Its our motor show in the town streets should be a lot of classics from
Right drinks

Glad you had a better night Marge
my fans fan fan do not make the noise but my
window A/C DOES ,good job it switches
on and off when it reaches the temp you
set it at {normally 72f}
I shall be glad when the temps drop as my
Electric bill was only $60 less than last month
because of having to have the A/C's running
so much AGAIN even minus having the Oxygen
machine going 24/7 ....

Leaving your 4x4  unlocked around here is a NO NO
Marge as well as leaving things in plain view which is
a "come on" to thieves looking to break in ...
Understandably  if its by accident ,but I can remember
when we first came over here you could leave your car
AND :house:  unlocked ....NO MORE though ....

I am all done as far as making dinner, work lunches and also
the two loads of washingbasket
Seems like I am most productive in the morning so a good
thing I am a MORNING PERSON ,unlike Linda who says she
is a night owl tired tired

Sounds like Melanie is happier what say you Marge confused2

OK so lets see if Bond brings in anything tasty for afternoon snacks

LARGE L & L please sir mrbond

Good day all.
I woke up at 7:30am this morning
and only needed one fan on all night
which made it much quieter to sleep.
Highs will still be hovering in the upper 70s
to lower 80s this week and humidity is still
high but I think I can deal with it.

Had a bit of a crime on our street last night,
It seems that Russ's married daughter borrowed
his working truck to buy groceries and unloaded
it and someone forgot to go out and lock it after-
wards and a person walking by took her backpack
and other items from the cab.
Russ posted it on our N/H web site so everyone went
out and checked that their vehicles were locked or
remove stuff out off sight. He also reported it to the
Police. We think it was a kid walking down the street
looking for unlocked cars.

I had a guy come to the house earlier and ask if I wanted
to sell B R. I told him its not for sale.
It seems that this guy who lives locally had a muscle car
of some kind years ago and yearns for the need for speed.
I could not stand the thought of seeing it drive around our
N/H with it not belonging to me anymore.
That is my piece of Peters memory. Its become my hobby
to finish what was started. Sun visors need replacing and the
front seat belts, they work but the buckles are going home.
It also needs mats on the floor to protect the original carpet
that is still in there. It must have been tough stuff when it was
installed 33 years ago, not a wear patch anywhere,
Its light grey in color, not a mark on it so far.
There is a leather like insert under the pedals and drivers feet
area and that is in good shape also but it has always been covered
by mats. It originally had carpet mats but I favor black rubber ones.
(with a firebird emblem on them or ones that say TRANS AM.)

Time for breakfast hereso its a Geek yogurt with blueberries
and raspberries on top and a banana and a oat and honey bar
on the side. Then its my second mug so I can take
my pills. going to watch Man U play while sorting the statements
into piles with rubber bands round them so the cats do not spread
them out again like yesterday! TTFN

Morning Bond ....
well I know I should not dwell on a subject
but Vicky tells me that Sir G does NOT read
the posts only comes in to text her a PM ,well he has been
in TWICE since she has left for Portbury so WHY does he keep logging
on with out giving us a HIGH FIVE at least {he must be obsessed }

Ok enough on THAT subject ....
Starting off warmer here today in the 70's at 5am Mad ,here along the
coast it will reach just under 90f but inland will be IN THE 90's ....

Its our Labor Day next Monday {marking the end of summer} Sept 3rd
would have been my Nan's 124th birthday ,as she died the February
of the year we came here ,cannot believe that has been 51 yrs ,and she
was 73{cancer}

Spencer came home early and made his version of bread pudding
in a Tuppaware dish that you can make cakes in the microwave in
He puts a LOT of different stuff in to how I MAKE IT ,very fattening
condensed milk evaporated milk 4 eggs cinnamon pinch of salt
sugar raisins ,it tastes good but I have to stay away from it talktohand
Then he made a home made pizza ,with bacon and onion  red sauce
and Mozzarella cheese ,he takes after Gil for cooking who could
swish a mean spatula
I only had one slice as my tummy is still recovering ...

OK its washingbasket washingmachine  for me today  so get them
clothes off ......

MORNING MARGE hope its cooler your side this week as I know THIS SIDE
will not be headbanger

Back later run run run

There was a short clip yesterday that was in a place called Babcock I think was in up around by you Marge the whole place is a town built with saving energy

Breakfast and it's cornflakes and cold milk toast and marmalade Coffee tea orange juice and large L&L Back later

I know Marge ,it's just that these thoughts
keep popping into my brain at times
A friend who works at my local grocery store
just said her sister in law who lost her husband
last year was saying she was doing the same thing
until she had a dream where as she said there
we're three different things that happened
that all ended the same way ,so telling her she
had done all she could for him ,that made me
think that I did take care of Gil the best way I could
as the nurse once told Gil when he said I loved the aid
more than I did him ,if I did not love him I could have
stuck him in a home to die ,but I chose to keep him
home and look after him myself
Anyway enjoy your  maybe Bond will serve us
another one later with some peti-fores  ? one you know
them little marzipan cake  things

I am up early again (for me)
so getting my first mug of

Chelsea are playing Newcastle on the
box.

Please Carole, don't try to make any sense
of what Gil said or what you said to him.
There will always be things we wish we had
said or done differently.
Learn to forgive yourself, You were under a lot
stress. No one is perfect but we are amazing in
our own way.
Try to remember the days when he was doing well
like his trip to the ocean with you all.

Its the same cloudy skies here this morning, turning
sunny later.
I am hoping that if I can find a puddle jumper airline
service that will drop me off in Modesto I can visit Melanie
and Jim more often. That is only a 90 minute drive for them to
pick me up.
Train or bus service take two days just to get from here to there!
