Its going to be a hot one here even at the beach!
Its already 85f at 9:15am!
High is expected to be 97f!
Its still quite humid at 63% but its dropping rapidly.
Some places in land are at 9% already.
Our City does have two cooling centers ready but
hope they have generators if the power goes out.
I have all the blinds in the shade position and curtains
drawn to keep it cool in here.

The Ti diver was a former Seal and was volunteering
to run supplies back and forth to the cave but they think
neglected to check his own oxygen.
There is another heavy rain coming. They are trying
to pump out the current water as none of the group
can swim let alone use a snorkel or scuba gear.

There was a motorcycle accident in our town yesterday
so streets were closed to a main road which is a carriageway
through the city. Lots of diverted traffic on to side streets
while the police investigated. It seems its mostly down to speed.
And even though helmets are mandatory in this state, riders in this
heat wear shorts and a light shirt so no body covering.

There has been a wild fire in Northern California for a week or so
here, luckily its much further north than where Melanie is so no
danger close to her. Its partly contained but with such dry winds
it can whip up mini fire tornados which can spread sparks anywhere.
The most northern part of the state is not heavily populated thank
the Lord but still a lot of property damage.
After the last big fire we had, the animal rescue found nearly a 100
cats wandering around of which about 30 have already been returned
to their owners because they were chipped.

When Peter was in Boarding school in Germany the youngest students
were no allowed to do cross country as they used it as an excuse to REALLY
run away. It was like a junior version of the Great Escape with 12 and 13 year
olds running loose in the German country side in the British sector.
They of course were all caught and returned to the school.
(In those days kids were not allowed to live on the UK active bases with
their parents) that's why Peter was there. They sure did get homesick
though. Some were shipped home to their grandparents afterwards.
This was in the early 50s. Peter went to 12 different schools so was
a bit more savvy about being away from his parents.

Well, all my patio furniture is still over at Lorna's and I can bring a couple
of pieces home today, the card table and one of the umbrellas along with
the bistro table from the front porch. That leaves the patio table & four chairs
and the other umbrella and a couple of wicker chairs. I wont be using them
in this heat anyway but I am sure that Lorna will want to water her grass soon.
I need to replace all the small bottles of water and cans of ice tea that I
"volunteered" from my own fridge. I do have plenty of filtered water and ice
cubes and a bottle of Robinsons Lemon Barley to add to it.
I also have two packets of ice lollypops and some ice cream.
Going to put a couple of ice cubes in the cats water feeder.
Going to watch a bit of the first game today while having my breakfast then
its off to do a few things while its still relatively cool. TTFN

The kids have gone, Rob picked them up.....they'd both been doing "Cross Country running"   affraid  in this heat....anyway both in their sports gear.   Rob was saying he always came second  though I was telling Matthew & Laura about their uncle Steve who on the days he went cross country running with his mates they all jogged to the back, then nipped into one of their friends house, sat drinking squash and eating crisps and when they spotted the class running back they joined on the back.....crossed the line puffing and panting ....with spotless running kit. Shocked    I wondered why on a wet day I was handed a clean kit....and questioned him about it  ....but he always said confused2  "I didn't go through any puddles or mud"

They could have made a go of it years ago when they were 17/18  but as now it is because they enjoy it, Rob said in the radio interview "We're not interested in setting the world on fire we just do it because we enjoy it"

As you say how on earth did the diver run out of oxygen?   they really have to get a move on before the monsoon weather is here.   Worrying for all the parents.....scary for the boys.

My mate Janice sent me a photo which her brother John had emailed her of the fires in Bolton....he was leaning on his brick garden wall.     I hope the fire doesn't get any closer.

Oh how I hate motor bikes.....every time I hear of an accident along there I think of Rob.

please and a buttered cinnamon & apple scone.

Oh went to Dobbies today and got some more plants for the tubs at the front.

New avatar is Benjie lying on the kitchen floor.....it's cooler.

Morning Vicky oh so your ALL OURS today
Well the weather has yet to make up its mind
"To rain or not to rain ,that is the question" confused2
although going towards New York {Vicky looking at the map
that is to my LEFT } in Stamford CT they said it was
a while ago ....

Sounds like Rob is taking off hope he goes far .....

Looking good again I see {your locks } oh so they DO have that
law over there that allows you to break into a car cheers

I see a Tai ex Navy seal diver has died trying to rescue those
boys {ran out of OXYGEN} how could THAT happen being an
experienced diver confused2
But seems they are more rushed now due to the lack of oxygen
also in the cave with all the extra people there trying to get them out
using it up and bad weather is on its way....
Also watching all the fires over here
Anyway waiting on Barb so I shall return

Oh Vicky "men in black" shhhhhhhh I hung up before my number
registered

Well another HOT one, they're saying it's going to be the hottest day.     Oh dear  isn't going to be happy.

Oh I've always said I like my undies.      Same with a nightie instead of lying in the buff.....so much nicer.

No my flip phone isn't like that carole, you flip it open and press one of the lines on the right....  confused2     BTW Carole I heard you called the White House instead of me.....Shocked    you did block your number didn't you?  no calls from men in black suits I hope.

No Carole Susan, Matt & Nessie are arriving on Saturday and then she does the run on Sunday, going home late Sunday evening.

You can break the window over here also Carole if a child or a dog is left in a car.

Been to the hairdressers.....took a CD to AJ (my stylist)   and she said "Oh that's strange only the other day we were playing his CD and Angie who was having her hair done wants a CD so do you still have any of his first CD's?" which I have.....so next time I go it's 2 of the first CD's and 2 of the second CD's for Angie and Jane and a new CD for Debbie.     Brilliant.

They were all saying the sound is very much McFly but Rob sounds like Robbie Williams.....I've heard that a lot.

Ok back later......must away.

Morning Bond ,that is what I gave Barb
Wednesday a straw floppy hat I bought to wear
in the garden {but never did} as her brolly broke
that she had been using to shade her from this
heat/ sunny ,as not only does she have to walk
UP HILL from our house but to stand and wait
for the bus  with no bus shelters  around here to get
out of the sun that makes it tough going .
Hope she bought a replacement as today they are calling for
massive  until after 3pm along with lots of lightening
and thunder as this front moves through pushing the humid air
away so that the weekend should be GLORIOUS {according
to the weatherman} all I know is its 77f at 5am fan fan fan

So hope the ladies had a good night is Susan expected today then
Vicky ,guess that means we will not be seeing much of you sniff confused2

They showed a dog in a boiling hot car on FB the lady said when
she said something about it to the owners they said they did not care
as it was ONLY A DOG headbanger ,over here if you see that you can
now BREAK the window and rescue either the pet or child ....AGAIN
I cannot believe the police over there will do NOTHING

OK Spencer stayed home AGAIN last night ,nice having my sons both
under the roof ,but I hope he does not stay in bed TOO long this morning
as I have a load of washingbasket  to do

I shall be back later run run run

I used to have a flip phone also which had a
green button for answering a call and a red
button to end it but I did not give it out to anyone
as I could not answer while driving anyway.
Only Peter called me and after a call every 15 minutes,
I used to turn the darn thing off!
Then he got me an Apple smart phone, its an S5 so
its not the latest one but it does what I need it for.
The charge only last about two days but I could
delete some of the stuff on there also.
My ipad is also an Apple but is about 3 years old
so is still able to handle most updates.

Friday its Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium.
Saturday its Sweden vs England and Russia vs Croatia.

I cannot for the life of me understand how people can be so
stupid. According to news sources, 17 children have died
already this year in over heated cars in the USA.
No word on how many animals have died.
I have never left my kids in my car ever!
I took a stroller with me and if Ian was sleeping I put him
in it fast asleep. Melanie was 5 when I learned to drive so
could walk with me at the mall or grocery store.
Ian was 2 at the time and did not normally nap but he did
fall asleep in the car sometimes or he got cranky after about
half an hour so in the stroller he went.
Its hit 75f here locally at 2:45pm but its 78f inside so
windows open and fans going so its comfortable enough.

I know I shouldn't have mentioned my buying some lovely undies in the sale...... chattable  "It put him all of a quiver"

I had to think then Carole.....yes it is a flip phone.     I just use it to phone David, other features I do not have......you know if anyone phoned me on it  confused2  not that anyone knows my number ...including me  littleBlond   I haven't a clue how to answer.....well I know to say "Hi"  but I don't know what to do to answer it.   confused2   Oh dear.   Smile

The flowers are the ones in the Urns Carole in the back garden, on the steps, they do look lovely.

Dogs pads are very hard Carole.....you have rescue dogs going over rubble, over hot ground..     As for selling pads for your dog I expect they do, certain in America, not that they need to but because some owners will buy their dog anything..... .  you don't see wild dogs with wellies on do you?     As I said dogs pads are very hard.      I can just see Benjie wearing pads.....poor little thing would go mad trying to get them off.  Rolling Eyes

L&L Carole

Glad you had a good time Margaret.        As for Melanie you're right she can't live like that, wondering when he'll slip off the rails again.

You're right Margaret American Pit Bulls are banned from this Country because it's aggressive .....   confused2   seems there's aggressive  and aggressive  Mad

Why do people leave dogs or young children in cars and go off shopping?   Mad why do people leave young children alone with dog/dogs? because they haven't any sense....I remember Bev telling me a story of someone at her church who said they'd had to smack their 2 year old because she caught her smacking the dog which was lying near the sofa the 2 year old had been sitting on..."What the hell was she doing leaving a two year old alone with a dog in the first place" I said "Oh she was cooking the dinner" Bev said as though that was a good excuse. "SCREAM!!!" I said "Well you can tell her from me she wants sorting out never mind the 2 year old" I was livid. Bev couldn't see why I was so angry.

Yes the    game is on Saturday Carole.

I'll get the drinks in Bond.

Hi Marge sounds like you had a great
turn out ....

As to the headball no the game starts at 3pm
here today again and yesterday
we watched Argentina lose to France ,today its
Ronaldo vs Uruguay.....Spencer thought he saw that
plays on Saturday confused2

So its sounding more and more like Melanie does
not want to try another round with Jim ,sorry to hear
that but I guess after what she has pulled herself through
you and her or anyone do not want to see her reverse herself
which is understandable ....

You can always tell when we are going to get rain as the trees
branches across the road are flying and flapping in the breeze
but its a HOT one blowing so no relief

Anyway just wanted to say HI
Vicky should be serving the later

I am guessing we had about 30 people
show up yesterday, some only stayed
for an hour or so but the regulars were
the last to go and helped do some clearing
up but the final break down will be today.
The heat really felt draining.
We had 4 large umbrellas which in Lorna's
front garden covered enough to make it
comfortable.
One of our neighbors brought her elderly
pug in her own doggy stroller. She is
12-13 years old and has a nerve problem
in her rear end so walks a bit like a drunk.
Lisa fed her her first taste of watermelon!
She loved it! In fact she followed Lisa
around to see if she could get some more.
We did ration it though as any new food
should be.
Lorna's dogs were corralled in the back
as they would have been all over the place.
I carried a plate into the house and was met with
barking of welcome and crying when I left!
Yolanda was laughing as I came back out as she
heard them change their tune so quickly!

Was just ready to leave when Melanie called.
Seems her hearing was on Tuesday about the
order of protection and they reduced it to an
order of no violence which means they can
contact each other as they have to sort out
their finances together. Jims actual judges
hearing is later in the month.

Melanie says she did not recognize him as the
thrift store had supplied him with a suit, tie
and shirt plus he had had his hair cut and had shaved
off the straggly little beard he had.
Trouble is this is his M O every time. he is so sorry and
will never do it again type of thing. He is good for about
6 months then he loses it again. Its called a periodic
user but no matter what, Melanie cannot live with him
that way.

Our local camera store has advertised that they are buying
cameras so may have a buyer for the two Minolta film cameras
I have plus some lenses. I now use a Sony digital full size camera.
I need a telephoto lens for it so may be able to trade for it.

I assume that Gil is watching a replay as the next round does not
start until tomorrow and Argentina went out already(don't worry
I wont tell him).

I though England had a law against Pit Bull dogs because of their
aggressiveness? so why not any aggressive dog?

It felt much warmer than the 75f it got to locally yesterday and which
is forecast again today. All the usual warning have gone out about leaving
kids or dogs in cars.
I took 14 bottles of water, 12 cans of iced tea, 12 cans of Mountain Dew
and 12 cans of Coke in 2 ice chests and it was all gone yesterday!

Our City has banned all fireworks but there were plenty of them going off
last night along with all the commercial displays.
I just don't like quarter sticks of dynamite going off which is what I heard.
All the hillbillies must have been in town.

Hi Bond.......thanks for the cornflakes with the hot milk. Smile

I know we had to make our own drinks didn't we Carole? "Sigh!!!" and what was Bond doing.....trying to take photos of the shed confused2 talktohand though he has done us all a lovely breakfast.....so we'll forgive him. littleBlond

Wow France is the team Matt picked out at work for Susan.

No Carole Benjie doesn't seem nervous while he's out.....still meets up with other dogs without him shying away, though it's always been some dogs he'll walk straight by while others they sniff each other, though I think he's a bit jumpy, a sudden movement seems to make him jump, look round "What's that?" but David says while he's out he's fine, which is good. I've watched him walk away and he seems ok.

Yes people stop David and say how lovely Benjie is.....Steve was saying how people who never speak to you suddenly start saying "Hello" and asking about Coco once you're out with your dog. One young guy who walks his dog and always makes a fuss of Benjie when they meet up was really shocked when David told him about the attack....made a fuss of Benjie saying "He's such a lovely dog too" and Benjie was licking his chin. Smile

That's one thing you don't get from a Yorkie, shedded hairs.

There's not much you can do about taking your dog onto pavements Carole.. confused2 Usually dogs paws are pretty hard. What do dogs do when they live in really hot countries .....not use pavements, flag stones to walk on?

You could not take a on your cell phone
I am assuming Bond ? you must have a small capacity
memory on it ,if you cannot buy a larger one may I
suggest you delete some "stuff" more often as both
Vicky and I were PARCHED last night waiting on our
night caps nono

Well its Thursday all the fireworks have been let off
{surprisingly Buddy was not upset by them as he is with
thunder ,that will be tomorrow they are still saying}
Spencer came home to roost last night as well at 930pm
as Carmen will be leaving early this morning and did not
want to disturb him so he slept home {Tabitha was happy}

Its hot and muggy at 5am I cannot WAIT till after the storm
Friday as it should feel SO MUCH BETTER even though in the high 80's
cheers

Not too bad a night with Gil who had me up twice for the waitingloo
so I think this girl will be grabbing a cat easychair later on
I see France beat Argentina headball

Hope your 4th bash went well Marge ,don't see any doggie bags yet confused2

How's Benjie when he goes out now Vicky is he showing any
signs of being nervous ?

Wendy said Henry went for his bath and nail clipping yesterday
and while Derek went into the bank Wendy stood outside with him
and said how people were looking at him ,he is a handsome
dog and getting quite big he is short haired though not like Saba
the ONLY thing you had to put up with shedding hair at certain times Shocked
but he was worth every single ONE

I send Derek all the warnings that come up on FB regards animals
and the heat related things ,yesterday it was about a dog burning
his paws on the hot pavements over in the UK with the heat you have
been having .....I can hear him now "oh not ANOTHER one" Rolling Eyes
but neither of them have ever had a dog and some of the things
they have done were a BIG NO nono NO nono
I know they LOVE him just have no "animal experience"

OK chatted enough DeDe will be here at 9am
so I shall just say

GOOD MORNING LADIES
and Bond pretty Clematis I believe I spy in your Avatar

Another reason for not returning to the UK
I cannot believe the police are like that Vicky

Do you have dog wardens as we do here ?

Watching the news right now after taking my shower
everyone it looks like are at the beaches trying to cool off
I KNOW that is where Blaine went but not sure where Spencer
and Carmen are as have not heard from him today ,she went for
more tests yesterday seem she may have Rheumatoid Arthritis
she knows she has regular Arthritis but because she is in so much
pain the Dr's suspects it could be this ,her body is REALLY messed
up

Have to wait for after Friday for any relief from this heat
when it should be back to normal only in the 80's

Anyway will speak tomorrow ,hope Marge brings us in a few doggie bags

Have a good evening

Tell that to the police Margaret.....a dog attacking another dog seems what some dogs do.  Where Susan & Matt are moving to a Staffie  attacked another smaller dog the other week and really injured not only the dog but the young owner.  As far as the police are concerned it's the smaller dogs fault for .....running away....and the owners fault for getting bit because she tried to save her dog.   confused2     The people of Portbury have clubbed together to pay the vets bill.    We have yet to hear what, if anything, the police have done about Benjie's attack.

We did report the attack to the police Margaret and a lady who saw the attack who lives 2 houses from the dog told David she would be reporting it to the police.        The Vet asked if we had reported it and we said we had though he did say "Not that they'll do anything"

Ohhhh yummy pitta bread.....I do like pitta bread, I get it from the chippy sometimes with salad inside.

Yes Carole as I said to Margaret we have reported it the night it happened......I did post on here the next morning saying we had reported it.

Any    going Bond?

Nice Marge I will be right there
Vicky is that the reason your not putting
the vets  bill into those peoples letterbox ?
because you don't do that back there

I hope you at least reported them as Marge said
the next time it could for some other pet  a lot worse

Ok Bond so which part did you paint today ,with or without
the window ?

I ran to get another gal of moo while Barb was here
could not wait to get home as it's awful out there
Marge as I said they are calling for LA to be at 104f
so that could be 90's for you your going to need your
Roll about a/c

Did I tell you I sent for one of those Arctic Air a/c's
for Barb and she is paying me for it weekly and she says
it's a God send it sounds like it's a mister as it takes water
that lasts eight hours ,but she said it works beautifully
her dog Aritha  lays right in front of it while she's at work
as when she had no electric her dog almost died
For only $40,that's with tax etc that might suit you Marge
I got it from walmart

Ok time to make dinner later folks ......

BAH!
just lost a post!!
Good job I had not written much yet.

Its flaming hot out there as the breeze
we had earlier has dropped.
Now I had better put out the portable A/C
unit!
I lost my shopping list somewhere so
just got what was needed for the
celebration and a few items that I needed
that I could remember.
For once I have enough Cat food to last for
a week!
I am sitting here eating an pineapple ice lollie
to cool off.
Took the flags down last night at dusk
and put out the this morning.
The two sisters ,Lana and Lisa are over the street
doing the decorations.
I even have a car flag on BB today.
Melanie is probably at a 12 step party today.
Ian said he was going to do a BBQ.
I got Pita bread sandwiches with beef in half and ham
in the other half, beef with swiss and ham with cheddar
cheese and some lettuce. They would not put
tomato on them or mayonnaise as it makes them soggy
so we are putting all the condiments on the side for them
to add as they wish .
I have had my little break so its back to the prep work
over the road.TTFN

I would not expect a dirt bag owner to care
about how many dogs his animal tears into.
There are laws about owning a dangerous dog.

And knowing that their dog is aggressive to
other dogs,I would inform the police or other
agency over there.
Not reporting is letting others take the risk
with their dogs and the result may be very
nasty the next time.
I would not expect that they would actually pay
the bill but it is the right thing to do in this case.
They know they should have a working gate and
no other way for it go get off their property.

After that, a very happy 4th to all Americans!
It will be a very multi cultural get together
today over at Lorna's.
I still have to got to shopper to
get four large bags of ice and the platters
at 10am (which is 45 minutes from now!)
and pick up some groceries for myself.
I have yet to put out my stars and stripes.

The best game so far has been the Japanese team
they endeared them selves to their hosts by
cleaning up their portion of the stands where they
had been sitting and left the dressing rooms cleaner
than they found them I bet. They played a very exciting game.
Both Ian and I agree on that.
The England first half was rubbish against Columbia
but were playing a team equal to their own and it
showed.
They were very lucky to get the penalty but more or less sat back
after that until I knew the Columbians would score just before
the final whistle and they did.
They have to do better than this.
Now I have 30 minutes to get down the store. TTFN

Well they haven't really played a hard team yet Carole,  ok yesterdays game was harder than the others but still not a really hard game,  when we played Panama  which we beat 6-1  "Some fans" were fooled into thinking  "Wow what a team" but it was Panama, certainly not a hard team, we never really had a hard team in our group, well we had Belgium, which we lost to, but the teams in our group everyone (media, managers,ex players etc) said "We've got an easy ride, we should do something"......Sweden will be a tough game, but hey you can only beat the teams put in front of you.

Yes I know in America they sue about anything but we don't over here.....well not much, you do hear about prisoners suing the Government (us, our money) over silly little things..

Been reading the Coventry Observer.....last weeks, they've got a brilliant review of Rob & the gangs CD.

And why not {about the bill}
You would be surprised at what some do
over here over what happened to Benjie
even taking a person to court over it to sue

The commentators at the FIFA mentioned
that a few times Vicky as I guess they have not done
well in past years and with this new manager etc
they are playing like the England of years past ,and of course
people are thrilled having Kane as Captain ,I am not
OVERLY a headball person but enjoyed these games
even Barb has been into it {rather watching this than
the gory programs Gil seems to enjoy watching while she
is here like Supernatural }
I am sure Benjie will be shook up for a while ,lets hope
he gets over it .....

Ok better get my butt in gear or Barb will be here

It's not so much not supporting  team, I'm glad we got through of course,  the World Cup just doesn't set me on fire.....even when it's the  team.      BTW I've never heard the media over here calling our team "The New England Team"  confused2

Susan's & Rachael are both doing a 5k run......Matt does a lot of charity runs in Bristol though I think he does 10k.

Benjie is still not himself,  it really shook him about poor little thing.       Doesn't look as though we'll be putting the vets bill through that door     confused2

Off out.......later.

BTW well done to the    divers who found those young lads.

Morning Vicky .....lets see what's in the fridgefood
for us then ...
I LOVE Philippa Gregory. have read quite a few of her books
WHooo bad girl you did not support the team headball
they are calling this the NEW England team ....funny
as THAT is where I live now in New England CT funnytvprog

Forgot to say new Avatar is back in 2000 shows Blaine helping his
dad to make the Gazebo that I grew my roses over {wonder if the
new people kept it} and Saba supervising

How long a run is Susan doing then ? that is something David
used to do a lot but has not in a while and Chelsea ran a 5K
last year for Cancer supposedly for ME
Dave is involved with something in Bridgeport now that
he is on the board of directors as I know he comes to Bridgeport
to attend meetings at times for it ,not sure exactly WHAT though

Spencer still waiting on his old boss to hire him or not he text again the other
day saying he would call him SOON ,Spencer thinks he is doing this
because Spencer quit him years ago ,another reason he is not really THRILLED
to be going back to work for him as he can be VERY difficult ,I read
some of his business reviews and ALL the bad ones involved the "boss"

In the mean time my son is feeling sick with worry still ,so I told him he
had better put some feelers out in case he is only stringing him along
not that there are a LOT of jobs out there

BTW Marge showing LA by Friday at 104f so looks like as the East coast
lowers a BIT the West coast rises hope you have your fan
fan fan ready

OK be back stay cool

SLURPPPPPP ahhh thanks Bond
keep them L & L's coming ....even after this
90+ degree heat wave breaks on Friday ,next
week will still be hot in the upper 80's but tolerable

I am hurting this morning ,back neck going to have
to find ME a belt as I KNOW whats causing it
not so much getting Gil UP ,its when he slides down
where he gets into a position that I cannot get him
up on my own {but have tried} confused2

The Dr's office sent two prescriptions yesterday
one for Mucinex 600mg 20 tablets to take two
a day for 10 days ,had to call the nurse though as
there was only EIGHT pills in the bottle ,now when
I went to school two a day for 10 days makes a total
of 20 right ,so here was my door bell going
last night at 9pm when the delivered the other pills
The other is for Azithromycin 250mg 2 when they came
then one a day till finished (4) pills
He had a good night anyway

Hope Benjie is feeling better this morning ,David needs
to carry a BIG STICK with him

So Bond is you painting today again should have done
it RED WHITE & BLUE to celebrate

Be a LOT of people celebrating today as Banks are closed
and factories like Blaine's are off although on the other hand
a lot of places and stores are OPEN for business and paying
holiday time if worked I am sure

OK so I am away Barb is also working today ,she could have
taken it off I told her but cannot afford to so she will be here

MORNING LADIES ...HAPPY 4th Marge

Bond pretty avatar is that YOURS and what is it cannot make
it out good confused2

Well been food shopper  so that's us all stocked up......Susan, Matt & Nessie coming up  on Saturday, Susan's doing a charity run on Sunday.....hope the weather is cooler.

Well I didn't watch the match, I came in to see what was going on just as the opposition had scored  and I did watch the penalties......I haven't watched any of the matches, caught the odd 10/20 minutes of a game here and there but haven't sat down thinking "Must watch" ......I remember years ago when I was posting on a footy site, before the nasty bits started ...and WestEnd Girls and I used to say "We'll go shopping together"  when the world cup was on.  Smile    the site all thought "WestEnd Girls" were a bunch of girls in an office.....only Choccy Penguin and I knew it was a guy.  Smile

Well another hot day.

Loving my book.....she really knows how to write. Philippa Gregory.

Its getting closer and closer to penalty kicks.
I know that Melanie and Ian are also watching the game
as Ian called me at half time for a consultation!
Melanie is on FB messenger with me.
What a fiasco the first half was and they were quite content
to sit on a 1 goal lead which has cost them dearly.
Is the England goalie up to it!

My husband is LIVID letting Columbia
score like that ,and with them playing
dirty ball to boot

Just taken Ashley Young off Rose on

You should do that what Marge suggested
they would certainly do that over here

It must be that time of the month ,Marge
as Buddy has been *,yowling* first thing
in the morning like 330,am for no reason
for a few nights .once I get up he is fine

Is Bond still with the paint brush ?

It's been over cast humid and cloudy here all day
Spencer came over to do a load of washing
and was going to wash his car but they are forecasting
Lots of rain tomorrow so is going to wait

Any way back to the 2nd half of extra time

COME ON ENGLAND KILL UM !!!!!!

You know something Margaret that might make them make sure their dog never runs out again.....Susan was saying they should be fined IF nothing else SOooo Mmmm I'll have to have a word with David.

Benjie's just had his second half and once again he just took it out of David's hand and chewed it up.     He is so good.

I would make sure you send a copy of
the vet bill to that household for the
damage their dog did.
It must have put the wind up David
as well I am sure.

I need to go to the supermarket and order
two party platters of sandwiches for tomorrow.
The group decided not to do BBQ or hamburgers
and hot dogs so its all cold food.
I will get one of ham and one of beef with lettuce,
tomato and cheese. so that it can be buffet style.
There should be at least 3 different kind of salads,
Macaroni, potato and cold slaw.
I am doing soft drinks also , I have 6 small bottles
of water, 6 of iced tea and will buy a 6 pack of
cola and one other drink and ice to put in the
2 large ice chests I have.
If they want beer or wine its BYOB.
Plenty of desserts on offer also chips and salsa
and such.
The fireworks will not be until after 9pm our time
so you should allbe tucked up in bed by then.

Silly cats, just now Tabbitha followed me into the
bedroom where my computer is and sat in the window
quietly watching the gardeners next door when from the hall
Jagger started howling, Male cats like to hear their own voice
so its quite loud! In the hallway its like an echo chamber.
Tabbitha and I looked at each other as if to say "why is he
doing that when he knows where we are?"
We just ignored him and a moment later he can running in here
and is now looking out the window by her side. confused2

England game starts at 11am here so have an hour to pop
down the store and order the platters. TTFN
GO ENGLAND!!!!!
