morning tired well looks like I may be in for
a rough day today as Gil started coughing last night
when I was ready to go in to lay down ,got so bad I
ended up calling the Hospice nurse on duty ,but by the
time she called back I had managed to quiet him down some
and had put him on his oxygen ,he takes these pills as
he has a lot of flem that makes him choke and I had already
given him one {says three times a day} and asked if I could give
another one ,but what was concerning me was the way he was
panting after an episode and he was getting agitated so I was
going to give him a "Lorazepam " pill that calms him down
She said that was a good idea or even a doze of Morphine
that I keep in the fridge.....She asked if he was running a fever
and at that time I said no {do not have a thermometer anyway
but he did not FEEL hot} but he DID later when I brought him into bed
so gave him two Tylenol ,she had said maybe he was starting with
a cold ,confused2 how I do not know ,but she said she would have
his regular nurse follow up today ..
My concern would be him getting Pneumonia as that is one thing listed
with what he has that could take him confused2

Anyway glad your STILL enjoying the nice weather over there
strange weather we are all having talktohand and Trump says there
is NO GLOBAL WARMING headbanger
I saw Renaldo headball was lucky yesterday could have been a RED card he got
Who does he think he is ? above everyone else he can get away with
a penalty ?
Ah well
Back later ....GOOD MORNING LADIES run run run

Oh you'll love the show Bond, oh so it's a matinee performance you're going to see and not the evening one......David thought the seats would be hard plastic, but as you know they're nothing of the sort.....really comfy. comfortable, padded seats in tiered rows, all of which provide a great view of the stage         You can get tea, coffee or hot chocolate at any of the bars as well as

Oh no the work will not start until Sept Carole.....so it'll be going on for months ....but as I've said to her "Just keep remembering what it'll look like when it's done"         The work couldn't start until the house is there's anyway and as I said the chain hasn't got the moving date yet.

Finished my latest book.....it's set in 1853 in Breightmet, Bolton where I lived from 18 until I got married at 22.    So it was really interesting,     I'm going to start a new one  "The real life women of Downton Abbey"

Wow five shillings a week......as I said you were really lucky.

Hello Bond.  UNDERNEATH YOU.

Oh btw Carole as I was saying We do have a path down the side of the lower lawn. The top lawn was always the lawn the kids played football etc on and then when the grandkids came along.....same thing, football, cricket, rounders etc. so it's never been flowers at the top,...though we brought that bush back from Somerset last year when we went to a garden centre. Next to the shed we have many small, mice, rats in tupperware boxes buried........further along near the lower lawn we have two guinea-pigs buried Sad

Had a brilliant weekend.....it was the Air Show at W-S-M Bond.....Saturday and Sunday.     We had gone to Sandbay, we either go to Sandbay or Uphill,  never ever Weston-Super-Mare, and a couple of planes went over and Susan told us about the Air Show,  then the Red Arrows flew over  though we were sitting indoors yesterday with the French Windows open when we heard the planes and we dashed out to see a two planes go over and boy they were that close, a Lancaster and a Dakota     IF one of us had had a  it would have been such a brilliant photo.....anyway later on the red arrows flew over in formation.      Shirley, Hannah & Becks went on the Sunday and Becks sent Susan some great photos of the red arrows....and the heart they formed with the white smoke as well as the red, white & blue smoke.      The Air Show was around 2:30/3:00.

We went on Sunday to Matt's parents to say "Hello" and then walked to the new house ....wow love it, only saw the outside of course but I love it.      They should be finding out when they'll be moving soon.   Over here the whole chain moves on a Friday.    We then went to a Craft Fair.....and I bought some jewellery.

Today we went to Clevedon ....took the dogs for a walk along the front to the Marina, which we've seen being built, we kept wondering what on earth were they doing but it looks brilliant now....little kids in canoes and boats......and a baby paddling pool.  Looks great.    We then had nibbles.....well I only had a     David had toast with apricot jam and Susan & him shared a cream tea.    Susan was working from home today.

BTW Bond you never said what time you get to the open air theatre ?     We hadn't realised how straight forward it was getting there....just 30 mins.     Just wondered how early you got there.      Rachael & Lee are going to see the performance at the end of the month also.

No it's our shed you can see Carole.....and the hedge is a bush, we planted it last year....oh and some trees.      Just saying like. Smile     We do have a path down the side of the lower lawn.

Ah but Bond the bike was one for two.....a tandem.   ......couldn't you have drawn one on a board cut it out.

I've never heard of a Curry's bike either......btw Carole you had pocket money while at school?  Shocked         You lucky thing you.....I hardly got pocket money while I was working.

You're bound to be worried about the events to come Margaret....it's your daughter and son-in-law after all.

Where's Bond when you need him?

Sometimes it does not rain but pours.
I know the feeling well.

I am waiting for Jims hearing in a couple
of days to find out where we stand.
I do not like drama or chaos but I seem
to be drawn into it whether I like it or not.

Jim contacted me yesterday by text to let
me know he is working at a thrift shop and how
kind they are to him. He is also going to group
meetings and studying recovery literature.
It is to impress the judge that he is repentant
and ready to make amends.

Melanie has been given study work by her
sponsor about co dependency and she is
trying to hang out with her friends in recovery
or go to extra meetings
and not trying to even think what will happen at
the hearing or beyond.
This kind of behavior is par for the course with
Melanie too. Her relationships don't seem to last
past 7-10 years and always end up in so much drama
that they get their marching orders.
So she has a big part in what happens also.
She swears she loves them (at the time) but seems
to be able to cut the chord very quickly when it suits
her. Then its on to the next one.

She is ready to pack all his things up and put them into
storage and let him pay the monthly rental!
I told her to slow down at Xmas but addicts are just as
addicted to drama as when they were using.
Its the adrenalin rush they seek.
Her pot has been boiling since way before Xmas!

It might be a nice day here as the normal grey skies
left overnight. Not much sea mist this morning but
temps and humidity about the same.

I have a few things lined up so I can get my mind off
the turmoil up state.
I have learned to never get emotionally involved with
other peoples problems, its not that I don't care ,its
that I need to detach myself from the chaos in other
peoples minds. Meaning Melanie of course.
My choices are yes, no or wait. I chose to wait for now.
In the meantime I can enjoy the day, the flowers
and the birds and accept the love of my cats.

we had a thunder and lightening storm
last night around 830pm and again my BIG
catmilkbowl boy retreated to the stairs in the dark
laying full length on the 3rd step down
and we got some welcome down ,which is good
as by the end of this week we ARE ALL going to be in a
HEAT WAVE ,three days in the 90+ constitutes a heat wave
and its showing that starting Friday the humidity flows up
from the south and we will be in the 90's till at least Monday fan fan
they call this the H-H-H days HAZY HOT & HUMID Mad Mad

So is Miss Vicky returning today ? your radar normally seems
to know when she is around Bond confused2

Well my Aid Barb is coming back today ,cannot wait to hear
all her HORROR stories of both having no power and now her back problems
ah me life is NOT EASY they say ,and its VELLY VELLY TRUE Confucius say

So nothing left to say bar

MORNING MARGE ,MORNING VICKY
be back later run run run run run

Just put Gil's nightly snack out some bikkies and a clementine
taken my shower and washed my hair so now its time for
this limey to lay her body down , told Gil he is getting WORSE

PostSubject: Re: Morning everyone..It's a new week...11/08/2014   Mon Jun 25, 2018 4:41 am

I had a cup of yogurt with two thin granola bars,
a banana and about 5 blueberries and Raspberries
in the yogurt and followed it up with another mug of tea.

Tabbitha has thrown up twice this morning but she has
only had her usual canned cat food but me thinks she has
been grooming Jagger again as well as herself.
I can feel that their coats are slick as a whistle again.
I do have some oral ointment (like Petramalt) so
will have to start giving them both a dose each week
from now on. Its going to be tricky as they run from any
thing that smells like medicine. This one is supposed to
taste like chicken.

Wind is getting up again here.
Can't go out and vac the leaves out of BB yet because we have
a noise ordinance here, no noise before 9am on Sunday.
Oh, Look , its 5 after now!
Still have to remember there is a new baby next door, Mum
and Dad can't be getting a lot of sleep so I will wait a while longer.

Been making a master list of repairs to the house left before I can even
think about painting. There may be asbestos in the acoustical ceilings
in this house and also lead in the paint. If so, it all has to be removed by
a specialist in those toxic materials. The paint on the walls may pass muster
if they are going to be sealed with another coat of paint. but all the
skirting boards will have to go and all the doors will be replaced with pre hung
doors so that gets rid of some of the rest of it. Den and kitchen have been done
after the date of no lead paint so should be OK.
I am leaving the paneling in place and will have it painted over so it look cottage
like. I also want the windows picture framed as it gives a finished look on the inside.
I also need new vents round the foundation (4 in all ) as they have fallen apart over
the years and can let the "critters" get under there.
I just hope that Melanie and Jim can sort things out or I will be dibbing into the
annuity. If Peter had had these things done along the way there would not be so
much to do
Andrea (one of the British ladies left with the same dilemma when her husband died
8 years ago) she is on her garage now which is the last thing to be done on her list.
I hope it won't take that long for me!

Hello early bird ...was a great game @ headball
We should be up against Belgium I think no ?
We are watching Japan right now and Senegal
and the Poland game is after that...

For some reason Buddy had me up at 3am this morning

and then at 4am I got SUCH a cramp in my ankle/foot
so ended up getting up at 5am as I normally do , I SWEAR
he can tell the clock

Just heard from my daughter she finishes her internship
for being a Medical Assistant Aug 28th ,but in the mean time
I have NO IDEA how she is managing as she cannot work her
job while doing this and that is her income confused2
I do not want to sit and worry over it ,as I know some how some
way she will work it out ......

OK so your putting the feed bag on Marge ,not sure what
I am doing for us as after that burger yesterday my tummy still
feels wonky

More L & L Bond please if you can tear yourself away from your garden

Back later run run run

The 4am start was for the run up to the game.
I wanted to have time to make a mug of
and feed the cats so they would not bother me.
WHAT A GAME!!!
England needed that score so when they go up against
Belgium they only have to draw to win their bracket.
Supposing they win their next game. 6 goals are not
easy to duplicate.
There will be lots of celebrating by the Brits tonight.

Poland are playing today so I bet Andy will be watching
that game 3 houses down.
At least with these early morning games(for us Californians)
I will have the rest of the day clear.
Its miserable again this morning but looking for patches of
sunny later.
I am getting hungry now so going see what I have for breakfast.

I think I would put a garden bench along that wall
if it were mine ,just saying Surprised

And Bond  that Bike scooter1 your showing if its YOURS
and not a picture  you found ,I would paint that
put it on a stand and put some flowers on it in a basket
on the front or back it would be a
great "conversation" piece in your garden

cheers  YEH 3 up ........... headball headball

Morning Bond ,so its a day in the garden and a BBQ @

Another overcast day here ,starting off nice , cool in the
60's but temps going to climb into the 80's and going
to get muggy  fan  fan before cooling off for the week and should get the
sunny  back

Before I forget  MARGE THE GAME DOES NOT START TILL
8am here {5am there}
so hope you checked your times
Either way Gil will have to watch it from bed otherwise its
a waste of time the new Aid coming confused2
Not sure she will work out anyway unless they cut her down to an hour
as there is just nothing for her to do after she gets him washed and up
as Blaine is here both  days should I want to go to the shopper
like I normally do
Even if I figured she could get Gil done and up on her own it still
makes it a rush for me if I go after she comes having to get back
for 11am when she leaves  ah well we will see confused2
Have not heard back from Barb yet after she said she had her power
back on and was asking how everything was here

Anyway I am sure Vicky your enjoying the shoreline ,hows the house
coming along as you have not mentioned it in a while ...

Anyway I shall be back later enjoy your day run run run

Its nice to be by the sea side this weekend littleBlond
After we have been to the kids this his morning it's a day in the garden for us and possibly a BBQ and my Jack Reacher book
I picked up another Lee Childs one yesterday at Astley Castle church book sale so now I have three back ups
The red arrows must of been out on a jolly yesterday as they were out over Nuneaton too
I suppose they can be all over the country in a mater of minutes, we also had a prop fight over us but I couldn't see what type?
Breakfast and it's cornflakes and cold milk toast and marmalade Coffee tea orange juice and L&L on the patio,
I may go for a bike ride later

Forgot to mention I was woken up this morning
about 4:15am by the fire/ CO2 alarm shouting
that the battery was running out!
Yes, Germany just won with a very late goal.
Tough game playing with only ten men.
It was a wonderful free kick.

It seems that there is a garage sale next door
so have to be careful backing out. The people who
are looking for them are not paying too much attention
to where they are going or what other people who live there
are doing.
The wind is getting up here so better put a long sleeve T-shirt
on. Its not cold enough for a coat as it still in the high 60s-low
70s range.

Hey Marge ,same here regards weather
only it's quite cool only in the 60*s but
we should get a shower later they are saying

Feels good to have a clear out doesn't it
we really have to get into our garage don't have
a great amount but my old washer/dryer are in there
everything is packed way at the back and to the left
of the 255gal oil tank ,good job it's filled from the outside
or we would have a problem
Spencer said we will get to it when we have the $$ to
give Danny for carting it to the dump in his truck

That's what we are watching now ,Germany ,England starts at 7am
here tomorrow so that means Gil will be wanting to get up

Well glad you popped in Vicky do not remember you saying
you were travelling this weekend confused2
I would have been wondering (,again) if you were ok
but never fear talktohand ,I would not have text ANYONE

Germany is certainly pushing in the 2nd half
Ok so let's hope bonds watching the bar still
Catch you all hopefully tomorrow

Its overcast and looks like rain but
we won't be getting any. Its still
humid and sticky so working up a sweat
won't take much doing.
Been watching the Mexico game and will
watch Germany next. Of course the
major game is tomorrow. Going to get as
much out of the garage today. It will take
at least 3 trips but I need the space.
with the big box of soft toys and all the
medical equipment gone I will have more
room for sorting boxes and bags.
I did not hear from Jim on Thursday so
I texted his phone asking if he was alright,
to which I got a reply saying he is going to
meetings nearly every day and reading as
much 12 literature as he can.
He admitted
he is scared of the hearing coming up but
I know he will have to take what ever is
doled out to him.
I cannot foretell what the judge will say but
I doubt he will serve any jail time, his record
has been clean since he moved in with Melanie.
That's about 9 years ago so we wait and see.
confused2
I just asked him to text me when he has time
to let me know he is alright.

Ian is still working on his "out-of-work" facial
growth. He looks like a Swedish seaman as his
beard is a mix of blond and red whiskers.
it kind of goes with his strawberry blonde hair.
Rebecca hates it, so his friends have been telling
him to put conditioner on it to make it nice and soft.
He is hoping it won't get as long as ZZ Tops.
They were at a wedding yesterday so should be
glad they are not working today.
I really need to shopper today but I think I have
enough cereal and milk with a few blueberries and Raspberries
to garnish while I watch the game.

Ahh OK Bond your forgiven ...
Now where is Vicky today
Marge has an excuse as its still only 930am her
side of the

Anyway Gil just asked me to go get him a double cheese
burger from Mickey D's that they have been advertising
of late that is juicer as its not cooked until you order it
as most are already precooked and thrown into the machine
etc ,well all I can say is for $5+ each that they cost don't
WASTE YOUR $$$$ a regular double cheese burger or a Mac Double
tastes better and costs LESS confused2

I wanted raised beds here Bond ,but Gil could not make them
for me after we moved with his hand etc so they never got done
he would have knocked them up in no time flat ...
Didn't you do paving there ?

Gil watching the S,Korea game ....
The new aid is nice but not sure I need her for 2 hrs as it takes
less than an hour to get Gil bed bathed dressed and up,I did nip to the
shopper while she was here ,and got back before she left but
I only needed to pick up a few things not my normal list ,as I told her
I felt bad having her sit here doing nothing for an hour and a half
So will see as she also said she would help with household chores
like Barb does but I don't have that much for them to do confused2

OK so I shall be over there Bond when the ladies get in

keep the L & L's coming please run run run run

breeze and showers around over the weekend even some
lightening with a down pour could be in the works for
some areas

so they will have to have a "HEADS UP" to the sky
A shame really for all the weekend things going on ,Sunset cruises
on the water Musicals The 56th Irish Festival etc all going on now

Love what your getting Marge ,wish I could fly over
and help you organize the garden ,right up my street

Bet BR got some ....

WOW Vicky thought I was at Wimbledon there for a minute
very nicely done ..

Well Gil is starting to worry me now as he was looking right at
Tabitha and could not remember her name so I told him and then asked
what was the other cat's name ,he said he did not know ,after telling him
I asked if he knew who I WAS ,and he said Carole
Just before this he had asked if it was December headbanger

This is the Coritcobasil killing his brain cells .......

He ate dinner as I made a beef stir fry and he went TWO #2's
today so his Hospice nurse will be happy as they seem to want
him to go EVERY day ,and that does not always happen these
days confused2

Hope the new Aid tomorrow knows what she is doing and can handle
him
Heard from Barb she has after 13 days gotten her electricity back on
wondering how she will manage lifting Gil when she comes Monday
as according to her she will be back then confused2

Well I have had enough for today so whose making the last drinky poos
don't see Bond any where around run run

I always seem to end up with a few extras thrown in
when I take Big Red to the car wash,
The foreman knows what the finish needs to make it
look like a show car so I take his advice and it came out
looking like it was in a showroom!

Luckily my car came through before there was an incident
with a long bed truck with a cab mounted on the back.
It appears that the man who vacuumed out the back
did not latch the cab so the tail gate came open and got a certain
amount of water in it. Lots of shouting in Spanish and the
lady got a free wash and wax job and a steam clean on the inside
to remove the water. They were still there when BR was ready.

Made it to OSH and bought 2 metal egrets one with wings outstretched,
another Gnome with a blue hat and a welcome sign, a metal wall plaque
with a golden sun face to put up on the porch and a whirligig.
I have a small scale wooden bridge already which just needs a coat of
varnish. Going to keep a lot of the swaying ornamental grass as it
fits well with a beach theme. Have 3 more sets of fairy lights to hang along
the fence. Its going to take time to pull it all together as I must work when
its cool enough and do a section at a time. While still working on the stuff in
the house.

I need some distraction and the garden has always been my outlet but
have not been able to keep it up and look after Peter as well.
The gardeners keep it neat and tidy in the meantime.

No word from Jim yesterday so he must have received the order of
protection which does not apply to me.
Ian sent me a FB message saying he is not going to contact Jim for
a while as Ian is not one to hold back what's on his mind.
I said it was OK with me. The last thing Jim needs now is to have a
bunch of us gang up on him.

Carole, I am glad your son spent some one on one time with his
Dad, it must have made Gil happy. (even if it was messy).

Some wonderful songs in "Guys and Dolls".
Our public broadcasting station (like the BBC) does a movie night
every week end and the last one was" Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"
with Howard Keel. The dancing in that was incredible.(so were the songs).
Well, its Black Beauties turn today, going to wash off the bird poop before
I take it to the carwash or they will want to do a full detail on her!
She is gassed up already. I still have to vacuum all the leaves out of all the
places they settle into first.
A really thick ocean fog came in last night so the drive home was dicey.
Its overcast again this morning and muggy but it does clear up for the
afternoons before socking in again in the evening.

I get confused about Daddy long legs and Crane flies(which fly)
I don't kill any I find in the house, I catch them and release them
into the garden. I find a plastic cup and a bit of cardboard do
the trick if I can reach them.
Flies are a different matter so are wasps. I have a small spider
living in the cover of my passenger side wing mirror on BB, I take it
to the cars wash , hose it off at home but it keeps building
a tiny web over the mirror and the door. I hate to have to kill it
so let it live there as it is not bothering me but I have had some
passengers complain!
It is a tiny spider for goodness sake not a black widow!
Time to work here. TTFN
