First topic message reminder :

Good afternoon all
I think Mr Mr Ray Winston would of sent the boys around to sort it out if people mest about with his granddaughter . I think back to me and if I hadn't met Mrs b on new years eve 50 Years ago I would of been off to Australia with mate who did go as both of us had no home life to speak of boat it was a £10 Pom in those days
Sorry to hear your a bit Moby Dick. Carole
I've got some Brownie points today I've gone around the inside windows cleaning them with .hot water .fairy liquid. And vinegar then polishing them with newspaper but its not like the news paper of our days but they do sparkle now
I had a phone call from M&S saying they were back safe and thanking me for doing the kitchen . Sara has gone to the shop this morning so Michael is putting the things back
I think its time for drinks then its sort out the bottle greens ready for hair cut time

Morning Bond
So many people waking up with heavy ♥️
over the theater burning down ,it had been owned
by the State since 2005 as so many organizations
over the years since the last performance 30 yrs ago
tried to come up with a plan on how to reopen it,but
it was mainly the $$$ that was always a stumbling  block

Three men began it back in 1955 when it was built, but after
one died whom I assume was the one with the funds
the place started struggling ,but it did see MANY MANY
famous names perform there as I said the main one
people think about is Katherine Hepburn who had a small
house at one time on the side of the property
where she stayed while performing ,also James Earl Jones ,Christopher Walken ?
Jack Palance Jessica Tandy etc
...SO much history all gone

https://www.ctpost.com/local/article/Shakespeare-theater-fire-a-loss-for-Stratford-13530370.php#

Linda and I were wondering if it was someone trying to find shelter
in the freezing weather we have right now ,but they will find all
that out I am sure ,cannot see the "STATE" burning it down

Coming along Vicky the wardrobe .dressing area √

Cold this morning again 13f right now ...

Have to be at the eye  DR at 240pm ,hope I can remember
how to get there as Spencer took me last time confused2
its not THAT far away ,and the saving grace is after I get it done
where the surgery facility is located a brand new building if I was in better
shape like I used to be able to years ago I could WALK TO AND FROM
it as its THAT CLOSE to our house here in a large medical building on
Quarry RD {you got it so called as it USED to be a quarry} on the top 3rd floor
of a medical building they built and where my Thyroid Dr has an office
very convenient

HUH! they are talking about possible bad weather Friday -Sunday snowy
weather man is saying though its a way off yet so things could change confused2

Alright so Blaine up in the shower
Spencer brought home a ceiling fan yesterday as it looks like Carmen
has found her flat ,brand new place one bedroom third floor with an elevator
all appliances included so being as Spencer bought her
FOUR CEILING light/fans
One Electric glass top STOVE
and a DOUBLE DOOR Fridge ,he will be bringing them here, said he will not
be leaving them for her old landlady as where she was she had to supply
her own {some places come with a stove/fridge}

So he says he will replace the ceiling  fan in the kitchen and Blaine's bedroom
and the spare bedroom as they are what he bought here years ago

He is also getting Carmen's sofa and chair as its in better shape
than his downstairs as all she is taking with her is her bedroom suite
and will be buying a new chattable  and lounge suite  for her new place

I DREAD the exchange as Spencer and Blaine have to get the fridgefood
and stove either up the front stairs or walk it around the side of the house
that is steep and come in via the deck headbanger
Think I will lock myself in a room while they do this as THESE ARE THE THINGS
THAT STRESS ME OUT

I SHALL RETURN

MORNING LADIES run run run run

As I said at the time Carole when I hear something's been burnt down and it's a place where they've talked about pulling down instead of saving I always feel suspicious .....you saying the fireman said they thought it was arson proves my suspicions correct.

Glad you had a lovely meal.....quite a lot of the   places we go to over here do breakfast, lunch or dinner all day long as well.

Vera was really good.

Ok speak tomorrow.

Another photo of a wardrobe with the door on it.....getting there.

I'm back had a lovely meal and a long chin wag

Linda had a humongous omelet with home fries
and ww
I had one of the *specials of the day*
Chicken Parmesan with  small amount of spaghetti
and a small salad ,only thing is I ate a 1\4 of the salad
all the chicken parmesan and 1\2 the spaghetti as I was FULL
along with a soft drink only cost us $12 each before leaving
a tip
That's the best thing about a diner you can get breakfast lunch
& dinner all day long

Bad news about the Stratford Ct  Shakespeare Theatre ,
someone burned it down last night ,Linda drove by on her way home
as she lives really close ,she said they are ALREADY bulldozing it
down ,and  man told her he fireman said it was arson ...

Ok speak tomorrow

True  Margaret about Ole Gunnar Solskjæer but then he was always a brilliant player for Man U and he's got the club in his vains.

As for Matthew & Laura they're two well grounded kids and I'm sure they'll be just fine.....they know that they've got the love of our family, know that if ever they need us we're there for them.   It's hard for Rob because he's got to be careful she has the power to say he can't see the kids any more .....though he has spoken out a few times but the kids know what the set up is.   But don't worry Margaret I can tell that they're handling it just fine.    Their school work isn't suffering.....are having glowing reports,       I'm not worried about them, as I said to Susan "I'm angry and I could go round and knock seven bells out of those two idiots" but Matthew & Laura will be just fine, I'm keeping an eye on them.....having like you Margaret having been brought up by an uncaring family I'm watching.   I tell them every time they are here how much they're loved and not to forget it.   They nod and say "We know"    Susan said today when I spoke to her "Wish I could talk to her but she wouldn't, she's too scared of upsetting him"    confused2

They're some really good films out at the moment Bond.

Vera's on Bond.....no she's on the box not on Bond.

What a Game!
The best I have seen in a long time.
it was basically Harry Kane against
the Man U goal keeper.
Which ever way they came at him he
deflected it, totaling about a dozen saves.
The new coach is working wonders.

I still say that emotional abuse is still
abuse.
I would like to bash those two dozy
baskets heads together!

If they think their perverted way is
going to make those kids be better
citizens then they are in the wrong
profession.
I worry about them so much as it
will have an effect on them as they
mature. They are not going to get out
of there without scars.

I am glad they have you, Vicky and David and their
Dad as normal people in their lives.

My mother and her family was the only saving grace
in my life growing up as my Fathers family were
cruel and unfeeling and I had to overcome a very
ingrained inferiority complex.
I felt I was worthless at anything I tried.
He was reared the same way so he knew nothing else.
Being cruel to be kind went out over a century ago .

It still affects me now even though with Peters
encouragement I have done many things that
I would never have done otherwise.
I grew up suffering from depression and never knew what
it was. It took an awful traumatic accident to plunge me
over the edge and I finally got treatment for it after
suffering for nearly 10 years with no one knowing,
I hid it so well.
Just getting away from such influences does not always
take care of the problem automatically , but it does help.

The two sociopaths with personality disorders will
soon find out what their children think of them ,
just give them time.

Its time to get going here after already taking my break
time watching the game. TTFN

Hello again
Well I have to say these Naproxen pills
are really the bomb ,as my aches are SO
much less ,so guess it IS arthritis I have
I had one more refill left on the bottle
that I had about 15 pills left  in ,it was good
as long as I refilled it before March 2019 ,so called
and filled it and picked it up on my way home
as I popped to Big Y AGAIN
I was telling Linda about the McCormick Grill mate marinades
She just bought an Air Fryer ,but said her husband ,the
little Greek was not happy likes everything done in an oven
Anyway she said she put in some chicken thighs and pork
chops and was raving about how it crisped  them up ,but how
they were soft inside ,she asked me what I did with my steaks
so I said I use these marinades that's all and they taste
delicious ,quick and easy ..
She did not have time to go yesterday for them so I picked
up four different ones for her that she can try on chicken
Pork or steak ,hope she did not go this morning ,but if she did an well

Yes we want to see Mary Poppins ,The Favorite, among others
but would be an evening showing ,hope I could stay awake as
the cinema near me has just been remodeled and has state of the
art reclining chairs with attached tables for drinks etc ,I can see me
 easychair  tired

Good for Laura ,that's me ,opening my mouth when
I feel I am right ,I am SURE  she is glad your there for her
Vicky ,but she always has her Dad right ?

Ok you two bookworms  read away I have done the lads
sarnies ready for Monday ,good job I don't cook today
but tomorrow I will have to cook early as my Drs appointment
is not till 240pm
So back later

Morning.........ohhh crumpets Bond, yum yum.       Enjoy your trip to visit the kids.

Glad you're meeting up with Linda Carole........hopefully you'll get to see those films soon also.

I think that is the problem with Laura she won't let them bow beat her....when she knows they are wrong she says so then of course she gets into trouble for saying "I haven't done that so it's unfair to punish me for something you know I haven't done"   they don't like it....both her and Matthew have utter contempt for HIM but unlike Matthew who keeps his head down and just goes along with it knowing the day will come when he'll be free and away from home.....when he goes to Uni.....Laura hates injustice and she speaks out, and so gets into trouble.....though she does hold her tongue like when HE calls her "deceitful" and "sneaky" she said to me "He calls ME deceitful and sneaky ME he was the one who broke up a family, how deceitful and sneaky was that?"  she then said "I just looked at him, he knew what I was thinking but so far I've not been punished for my thoughts"   I have said to her...."Keep your chin up and remember you've always got a home here"  and she smiled and said "I do know that"     Laura is now doing all Matthew's *housework" cleaning the kitchen, putting the dishes into the dishwasher and removing them to put into the cupboard....the washing....the bed making and the tidying up, duster hoover ironing  I wonder just what Him & Her do......and that's without the 2 hours a night school work.    No wonder his other kids want nothing to do with him.

Finished my book.....good, as classic usually are but I'm not keeping.      Going to start my next one "Belle" by Mary Kingswood.....a follow on from the first book I read of 6 sisters....this is book 2.

I always find it suspicious when a place catches fire when there's been talk of pulling the place down......    but that's so sad it couldn't become a theatre again to have shows, entertainment once again.

Yes it's grey here as well.

New avatar is the start of the wardrobes in the dressing room, spot lights in the ceiling, the door is the one going into the finished  en-suite..... grey blinds up at the obscure bathroom window grey blinds also up at the bedroom window.

Morning Bond whats that your
just over WHAT to Bedworth ? funnytvprog

Well its GOODBYE to the Shakespeare Theater
that they have been trying to reopen in Stratford
A HUGE FIRE last night I bet Linda could see the FLAMES
as she does not live that far away from it on Elm street
They have had people in trying to revitalize it for AGES
but no one could seem to get it going, and there was even
talk of pulling it down and raising a HOTEL in its place Mad
It was a beautiful theater where Christopher Plumber ,
was among the MANY famous actors who had performed
there back in the 70's cannot think of the names right now
my brain is numb talktohand I HEARD THAT Vicky

Feels like 14f right now ,but at least the☀ should be out
by the time I meet Linda

Anyway enjoy your day I will just sit here till my BRAIN clears confused1

Tip toes in,I can hear Bond zzzzzzzzzzzz
all the way over here ....

Hi Marge hope I did not wake you earlier then...
Hope you do not get too severe weather ,but it
did show three more storms close behind the one
you were getting ....
The snow storm is really bad that is coming cross country
and hitting below us up to New York ,but as I said for some
unknown reason  the best part of Connecticut has SO FAR
MISSED all the heavy presip snowy ,but we should
not speak TOO LOUDLY,as there have been years like
2015 when we had also no snow up till  Jan 31st but received
from Feb 1st 48" before winter ended that year..

Tracie text me earlier saying Timmy seemed a little better
she went to see the manager of the Winn Dixie grocery store
where she will pick up 15 hrs a week, the lady said she would
schedule Tracie between 7am and 4pm so that she can still
pick up the two young girls from school a job that pays her $80
a week ,so not like she is not TRYING to find work

Also went on an interview for a "call center " would have been great
it was  full time $12 an hour full benefits after 6mths ,the only catch
on some nights she would have to work until 1am and it was an
hour+ drive from her home so as she said it was #1 too far a drive
and no way did she want to be :driver:  I-95 at THAT time of the morning
alone ....
Hopefully something else will show up for her ...

You know Vicky that is AWFUL ,poor Laura ,not being able to stay
with you over the holidays because you might let her see her mates
what is WRONG with those two NUTTERS ,I hope she is a strong willed child
as that could send some others more faint of ♥️ into a deep depression and we
all know where THAT could lead Shocked Mad Mad
Isn't that child abuse ?

Anyway Linda called me so we are meeting up tomorrow for lunch
at the Bridgeport Flyer diner
I had her laughing as I was relating the time I took Ruth down to
the airport in New York to pick up Tracie and David when he was a
few months old ,it was raining heavily at night ,but not only did I go to the
WRONG airport ,{Laguardia instead of JFK} I turned us around
TWICE going returning to CT and had to turn around ...needless to
say Ruth was in stitches ,not sure if it was with FRIGHT or not but
she was funnytvprog funnytvprog hardheartedly
She always said driving with me was ALWAYS an ADVENTURE funnytvprog

So time for me to hit the sack as well

I shall be back in the morning

I am here Carole, even if its a bit later than usual.
I fell asleep watching TV and woke up about midnight
and then had to feed the cats and go through my
bedtime routine before settling down for the night.
Only woke up properly about an hour ago.

The main part of the storm passed in the night but
the thunder remained over the ocean.
Its still light rain at the moment as the remnants
go through although its getting heavier now.
We have had only minor mud flows in
certain areas like Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu
but the usual lazy streams are at running at a
much higher volume from the hills in that area.
I got all my shopping done yesterday but noticed
I had left a couple of things off my list after putting
it all away !
We have been without free plastic bags for over a year
here at the grocery stores and they charge 10 cents
for either a plastic or paper bag. I chose to buy
4 plastic coated carry bags and use them all the time.
(when I remember). I can wipe them out with a
antiseptic cloth each time to keep them from smelling.

The large items I tell them are better carried by hand
so large packs of paper towels and TP are best left
out of bags. Its the same with Laundry products in
big bottles. I find I unload in two stages ,one is from the car
to the porch and then I take them inside to the kitchen.
Always taking frozen products first and the items that need
to be in the fridge, then I can take a break and do the rest
a little slower.
I do not have to cope with stairs like you do Carole.
I could have everything delivered but I like to see what I
am getting as far as fresh items are concerned and I like
certain brands better than others.
I do not like having to accept substitutes.

I remember when we lived in Wyken near Walsgrave Hospital.
Once a week I shopped along a parade of shops including
Butcher, green grocer and grocery shops and took it all
home on the bus! Once had a bag of oranges let go and had
them rolling under the seats! Everyone was most kind and I
got them all back!
Not a lot of frozen stuff in those days ,maybe peas and green beans.
It was two bus rides from work and my Mum used to bring Melanie
up on the bus later so I could get dinner started.
It appears the rain has stopped for now and I am hearing my tummy
demanding to be fed so TTFN

Cute recessed lighting ,I have sensor lights
under my kitchen cabinets saves putting the big light
on if your getting a drink etc

Also have one on my stairs as with Spencer having the room down
stairs when his door is closed unless you put the light on from up here
its pitch BLACK so these light the stairs as soon as the sense you
I also have one in the small hallway between the bedrooms up here
enough light to show where the bathroom is so you do not have to'
put a big light on

My sons call them Mum's gadgets funnytvprog

One of my friends on FB just posted this funnytvprog

A man lay in his hospital bed &
asks the nurse in a shaky voice

"Nurse are my testicles black"

Nurse lifts his johnny coat ,holds his penis in one hand
testicles in the other and says
"They look FINE to me Mr Brown"

To which the patient replies
"Nurse ,thanks for that, but listen closely ,
ARE MY TEST RESULTS BACK "

I'm back and glad I remembered that
my car payment was due TODAY,the 12th
as was going to be going two different ways
today one say to my east to the shopper
store ,then to my west to pay the two bills ,one the cable
{TV/phone} the other the Electric bill at a grocery store
that takes it for no charge ,as where I used to pay them
at a cash checking store near me ,they stopped taking them
and started charging $1.50c for every bill .... nono  NO WAY
JOSE ...
Anyway dropped off my car payment then drove two blocks to Big Y shopper
and while at the courtesy desk cashing my lotto ticket ,Kitty
said oh we take the UI electric AND cable no charge cheers
so saved me a lot of :driver:

Oh I know about paying out more than I have won but remember
since Gil passed I have won on at least three of the four numbers I play
and Two have come  out straight ...so that was $291.50 for my dollar spent
so I am probably still using my winnings
And as they say "If you do not PLAY ,you cannot WIN right confused2

Anyway groceries all put away so going to put my feet up for a while
I took a Naproxen 500 mg pill after I ate this morning ,cannot remember
what the Dr gave me them for ,but I remember talking them before
mowing the lawn and I did not ache so much .....something to do with my joints
I think will have to look it up as I still have a refill available, and my hips/legs/back
have REALLY been giving me JIP of late ,find I'm not WALKING I WADDLE

So you do not have a soaking tub Vicky ,Gil LOVED to soak in the bath
something he could not do after he got worse ,he HATED showering ,and of
course that even got to be nothing where we were giving him Bed Baths in the end
I am SURE he like everything else HATED THAT with a passion ,so that
is what i have to keep telling myself, that he is in a better place as I still
have flash backs ,why I was up at 4am the other morning ,been getting better but sometimes ,as Marge must as well these pictures and memories FLOOD your
brain for no reason
Sad
I keep going over and over to when did he first start making what
obviously were his death rattles ,that I did not know was THAT never having
been close to any one that had died before ,I know it does not MATTER now
but my brain goes OVER & OVER it thinking he must have been gone long
before I realized, as my Dr sat me down and said when we make those
rattles normally our "being" /"souls" have already left the physical  body
So then I wonder if he KNEW I was there wetting his forehead and smoothing
him before it all stopped  Mad  Mad  Mad

I HOPE one day it all stops ,but right now THIS is what wakes me .....

Be back later

Congrats on the win....though you can't really say "All for just a dollar" because you'll have put more than a dollar down from the last time you had a winner.    Anyway congrats.

Don't animals make you laugh..... funnytvprog

Yes it's a walk in shower, two different shower heads, light grey tiles on the walls and dark grey tiles on the floor,  the one in the family bathroom is one over the bath though they're saying *when* they do the family bathroom they'll change it to a walk in one but that's way down the list....that bathroom isn't that old, so they'll wait to change that, though they do have a walk in shower in the downstairs loo, but they're having that taken out and just have the loo. .....we have 2 walk in showers one in the family bathroom and one in the en-suite.

Do you still wear the red scarf Carole I bought you the other christmas?   I bought Dawn the same scarf which she still wears.   Glad you like the one I got you this year.....can't have too many scarves I say.  Smile

Nice shower looks like a walk in one √

We still have paper bags as when they put my heavy items
in plastic I ask for paper & plastic so i can carry them easy
Your right the reason they are stopping plastic all those
MILLIONS floating in the seas ,I see the machine they made
broke down and had to come in for repair that was floating
collecting all the plastic ,cannot remember exactly where it
was running ,maybe Marge knows
The poor fish eat it and die

Well Spencer just left and Buddy went down stairs
to see him ,now he just strolled back up with Tabitha
close on his heels funnytvprog ,they do not
per say ,just he chases her now then she chases him
and you hear these little mews between each other telling
him or her to watch out coming through

He makes me laugh as he will never RUN past her knowing
she will jump on him ,so he walks very animated SLOWLY
past her
She has been known on a few occasions to ride his back coming up the
stairs

Light now but looks cloudy ...oh one of Gil's numbers came out last night
back up ,his Jag marker # 291 came out 921 so $41.50 for my dollar

Drinks on me

Tell Laura to HANG IN THERE

At the moment over here if you have to have a plastic bag, we do try to always have a spare one in your handbag,  while shopping you have to pay 5p  for it but they're putting the price up to 10p to try and stop people using too many plastic bags.     We always take loads with us when food shopper .......wish they'd go back to paper bags as we used to have,  too much plastic is ending up in the sea.

Oh no Carole just the one basin.....I know you can have his and hers but one is enough.

As for Susan going to live in Ireland no she just goes over to see Anne, Susan does like Ireland but she wouldn't want to live there.

Laura is still grounded, only sees her friends while at school.....she's been told she can't come here during the school holidays because I'd only let her see her friends.     Which I would of course.   littleBlond    Though Matthew was allowed to go off to the cinema with some school mates last night.     It's not right but I told her today in a few years time they won't be able to stop her seeing her friends or living where ever she wants to.

Morning you two still dark here at 545am
but gaining light a little each day so soon
be pushing those clock forward AGAIN
and losing my hours Sleep before we know it

I am sure you will have a sparkling and magical time
Bond
James does seem to grow a LOT of facial hair for his age as
well ,even though Gil always had facial hair young and a good head
of hair till the day he died ,for some strange reason he NEVER
went completely gray ,not even what Ruth used to have at 56 Salt n Pepper
as they call it ,the one place he never had much was on his chest
unlike both our boys who do have chest hair confused2 in fact
Blaine had when he emerged from me and STILL has,is  hair on his BACK
Midwife said it was a sign he had been in there TOO LONG {he was a week late}
confused2
But BOTH boys seem to take after MY dad in one area as they have receding
hair lines just like my Dad did ,something they wished they had taken after
their Dad and NOT Grandad for

Might go to the shopper today rather than tomorrow see how I feel

My store will be doing away with, as so many are starting to do over here
plastic bags by the end of the year,I bought about 6 of
the store shopping bags that are insulated but for things like big bottles
detergent etc they use paper and plastic ,so not sure what will happen
AFTER they do away with the plastic ones confused2
Fran was telling me where she goes they started giving away these
heavyweight biodegradable ones in place of plastic and said they
were GREAT could be washed and reused ,so HOPING MY favorite
store does the same

Vicky only one sink in the onsuite ?  you see SO many now wanting
DOUBLE sinks ,the woman normally saying she NEEDS her space
when they are both getting ready funnytvprog
But I am sure its going to look lovely when done
And I see Susan is again off to Ireland ,do you ever wonder
if she would like to move there
ANOTHER place I never saw only passing over in the
Gil did though as his 2nd wife Liz was from there {Donna's mother}

Cold again today but as long as they keep saying the snow storm
that will be dropping a LOT of snow is going to MISS us tomorrow
all well and good ,they telephone to remind me of Mondays appointment
yesterday ,its not until 240pm Monday

OK so ENJOY your day ....any new groundings on poor Laura Vicky Rolling Eyes

Oh they missed the opportunity there Carole with not having flyers advertising the crumpets....the ex pats would have been rushing to their store.

Oh they've got wardrobes in the dressing room Carole on both sides of the walls....spot lights in the ceiling.

Good evening all.yes time is shooting by .James is 16 now .he likes his catering course but it is only a three day a week course and we all know catering can be long and hard hours so I think the college course is not a true idea of how the job is without true work experience then we will see if he really can do it
Large L& L Carole
I just spotted Marge a the door

I was going to ask the same question Vicky
about Bonds grandson
Yes that was the problem not a lot of "yanks"
would have liked the pikelets /crumpets so they
probably would have sat on the shelf longer than
they should have
They should had advertised them in their flyer ,where
I am sure any Brits would have seen them as who
doesn't like them with melted butter and cheese on them

Heard from Barb ,she's still on the list ,but higher because
she told them how her man friend Marc called the cops on
her then allowed her back ,she said his neighbors were even
banging on his door when he was yelling at her
The nursing home she went for training in is looking
good so maybe if she can find somewhere to rent  she will be ok

Well I just ordered a thin crust mushroom/onion with extra cheese
pizza ,and he just delivered so I shall be back

Vicky I am assuming the dressing room will have hanging
places each side ??

Morning Marge Belgrades site said they opened in '58
I met Gil in July of 1957 just before leaving Broad st school
My half brother Dean was born Aug 7th the same year
remember mum wanting me to take both Wendy and him
out with me when I went to see him ,I sais
Be back slurppppp

Ah, the Belgrade theater.
I was dating a King Henry VIII boy
for about a year and his Mum owned
a Chocolate Cabin shop.
His Mum used to get free tickets to the
Belgrade so Jeff and I went to see
'The Ice Man Cometh" in 1955/56
That date must be the official opening date.
I know that I started work in June of 1957 so
would not have been dating Jeff after that
as he was still at school then.
By November I had met Peter.

Its the same with the old Walsgrave hospital.
My mother was in there when the Queen came
for the Royal opening but the hospital had been up
running for at least a year and a half before that.

Crumpet!! I went into Pam's British Connection
yesterday and she had some in the deep freeze!
How she got them I didn't ask but have 4 in MY
deep freeze now. Smile
I also got some raisin scones as well as the usual
Branston Pickle and Yorkshire Gold tea bags.
No custard creams this time.

Pam and Michael are off to the UK today as one
of their children who are based in Bolivia are in
London for a friends wedding so they are taking
a quick trip in order to see them after 2 years.

One of her other children runs a British Import
shop in Seattle. so they travel in their little
camper RV (with the 2 cats) at least twice a year
to exchange items that they order for items that
their son has ordered that sometimes are not
available from the regular suppliers.

Ian made noises about shaving off his full beard a couple
of days ago but have hear nothing since.
Peter had a Van Dyke for a few years but it got
harder for him to shape it so off it came.
He did look very German with it. Ian looks like a
Swedish fisherman with his.
I do not like the "lost in the forest" untamed
kind of beard. It has to look tidy and shaped
like Prince Harry's.

Got to sleep in this morning as the cats did not
wake me to be fed. It was a good sleep, it always
is after a meeting I find. Its like I have cleared
my brain of all worries and concerns. I
have a plan but I may not follow it the way its
laid down but I always have a plan in place.

Its either drizzling or really wet fog this morning.
We are waiting for the rain to arrive at any moment.
Its not a big storm but even 1" of rain at this time
inland will cause a lot of problems.

The corps of engineers has money in their budget
to help fix storm barriers and other projects and Trump
now saying they should spend it on his wall!
Leaving people in other parts of the country waiting
another year or so to get their life saving projects
done.
He is using his presidential power to become a
tin pot dictator. I bet there is not one person in
the White House who is willing to tell him he is
delusional. I don't know if this country can take
another 2 years of this.
There is a legal group who are looking into
what it takes to impeach him like Nixon.
So far he is walking a very thin line but
let someone put all the facts together
and lest get rid of him.
Only thing is ,his vice president is no better
bargain either!!!

A full beard Bond, wow, how old is he now then? The years do pass so quickly.

No I didn't get the crumpets, maybe I'll pop into the co-op tomorrow......no they don't have a long shelf life....maybe 5 or 6 days, but that should be suitable unless the store hasn't got enough customers for crumpets to keep them on the move so they're not going off so soon.
