Its been a little cold here about 4-5 am in the morning,
but been leaving both bathroom windows open all the time.
Shut them last night and was not so cold this morning.
The north side of the house is the coldest side while the south side
does not need warming as it is well insulated.

People hate to complain about a very popular person.
One parent who complained about him was told "You will
not be believed so why try."
(This from a police station!)
Rolph Harris was a shock to me when I heard what he
did.
I was so careful while I was in charge of troops of girls.
Being a director of encampments and skills days for
other people's children.
I was the one choosing which parents were allowed
to be helpers away from home.
I insisted on no adult ever being alone with a child
for any reason.
It's the same with Boys groups, you never know who
is grooming a child for their own purposes.
Even parents are suspect in some cases.
Fortunately, I never had it happen to any of my groups.
Kids were told to stay with the buddy system, always.
The patrol leaders were told to be alert to any child
acting strange and to report it in strictest confidence
to the adult staff. (Me and the first aiders and the
general manager).
(Dealing with some mental or drug or alcoholic  parents
was not easy anyway.)
I always had some kind of back up from a paid field staff
person.  If we were lucky, one or two of the dads were
police officers.
Especially camped for five days out in the desert!
We were in touch with a local transmitting tower
by CB radio.  (No cell phones in those days)
The world has sure changed since then.
