| Nouble should play some part in the next game according to Pete "The Cone Man" he is not too far off, btw Pete is City's fitness coach so he should know. Johnson can't be that far behind him if we keep on loosing with them in then we are in trouble. | |

| On height, no strength, we only produce and sign midgets, where's Baker? He would be a far better option, we need to get more players on loan if Johnson and Nouble are not fit soon and please send Allsop back to Bournemouth never seen him pull off a good save. | |

| Hi there, great reports Choccy... ... ...how come we have so much of the game only to loose ???...are they creating chances only to keep missing them or just not getting enough efforts on goal ??? Do they need new players in Jan ?? Will there be any money for them ??? Have a good day everyone.... _________________ Play up... SkyBlues | |

| Brilliant match report Choccy P.....and we march on. Well the idea of building another ground and having all the revenue ....rent from the shops as well as the hotel, casino, keep fit etc etc was brilliant AND if it had all come together we would have been up there with the likes of ManU etc Carole....but it didn't in the end. Point fingers at a few people.... I liked Highfield Road but at the time the thinking was "It's too old and dated" and a lot of clubs were moving to new stadiums. Yes Choccy P Sisu had/have the money to buy the stadium and should have done as you say. WASP's will lose a lot of fans.....we know what we thought about going and playing in Northampton....these days fans aren't thought about. I just can't see the pitch standing up to have a rugby team & a football team playing on it each week. | |

| Well Sisu could and should have bought the ground years ago but will the Rugby authorities allow the move? It would not happen in football. Will Wasps take over the football club as well? Yes money needs to be spent on the pitch if we are to have two teams on it but who will come to watch Wasps? They attract 5,000 fans at Wycombe and have just stabbed their fans in the back making our move to Northampton seem like moving next door.
Anyway match report in enjoyable night at the Ricoh, Sisu take note lower the prices and people will come

| My husband Gil says that this is all Coventry's fault as they should NEVER have given up Highfield Rd being as they did not have the ££ to build a new stadium having to go into debt and not being able to buy good players as well I cannot comment on this not living back there at the time all this was going down as he was , Guess only time will tell what will transpire _________________ Carole B [i]

| Yes it's gone ahead......though Ann Lucas was saying Sisu didn't put an offer on the table and WASPS did. Though we know what Sisu wanted .....the Stadium plus surrounding land for a pittance. Though I just can't see this being good for the football club.....business around maybe but not the club. | |

| Looks like its going to happen this was just ONE of MANY statements on Face Book today It states that the council will buy out the Higgs share to ensure CCFC have first option. I think this will benefit all 4 sectors involved; Coventry City, The Wasps, The Council and Higgs. Not to mention local businesses with additional trade. It means the pitch will most likely be maintained to a higher standard, and possibly more jobs opening up at the Ricoh. I know my statements are possibilities but I do think this will benefit more people than not. Coventry might even have to push a few games to Fridays, when tv revenue won't hurt the bank too much...

| Just got the quote from Sky Blue talk "Look forward to reading the new edition of T&S at half time tomorrow. Does anyone know what happened to Paul Mackay (spelling?) who used to sell it outside the west terrace. Got my first copy from him as a young lad."
I see this guy doesn't go to away games otherwise he would hear Paul all the time.

Oh Choccy P I was reading posts on Sky Blue Talk (I don't post of course because I'd have to put my email and they'd know it was me....even though I agree with the comments they say) and someone mentioned Twist & Shout then another poster asked about Paul saying he remembered buying his fanzine from him another poster said he still went to the games because he'd been standing next to him at the Wycombe game, they mentioned you also doing articles for Twist & Shout.

| I'll be shocked is Wasps take over the Ricoh after all there is already a Rugby team in the City the Rugby Union can't allow another one in and how many fans do Wasps attract? If they did buy into I think there might by quite a few football fans protesting. Up to darkest Greater Manchester Saturday for Rochdale. | |

| Hi there, watched Fridays game on the box in the pub as I did not have to work the Sat. City looked good for the win but as Choccy says needed that second goal. Sounded like a great atmosphere in there...27.306 was brill...guess it will drop down to about 14/1600.
Have arranged to go to the Orient game on Sat 1st Nov with one of the guys from work as he is a fan of theirs...he is a good lad, a coach driver and knows London so a few beers before and after with a bite to eat thrown in, so see ya their Choccy hopefully, he will go in his end and I will go to the visitors end and meet up after...UP THE SKYBLUES...headball headball headball _________________ Play up... | Vicky yes even in the posh seats the PA was terrible and they don't have many songs to play I heard "The boys are back in town" by Thin Lizzy three times good job I like the song. Had to laugh at half time as three people attempted to carry three pints of beer each up into the stand only to be turned back by one of the stewards, must be Ruby fans
