| Yes I should of stopped Steve burying his dinky cars in the garden. In fact I should of said o my three "You can only look and then they go straight back in the box and we put them away" Awwww poor kids, when I see a car in it's box in mint condition I always wonder if it was for a child but they couldn't play with it. No toys are to be played with. Oh that sort of apple box I was thinking a wooden crate when the apples were delivered to the green grocers. Ok speak tomorrow. Susan turned up with a apple, haven't we just been talking about apples? anyway with a apple cake, lots of apples so it's ok I'm just eating apples. Oh Carole did Spencer's lady friend buy him a nice card? Avatar......Bet you know where this is Bond? It looks as if it's horse having a drink. | |

| I didn't have them before or just after getting married, David brought some of his when we got married, the houses we rented were fully furnished but no washing machine, fridge or record player we, or David, only bought some more records after we finally got our first house, owned by us. well on a mortgage, which was paid off years after we moved here. in fact I'm now thinking we didn't have a record player until we moved here. as for a good live, depends what we mean by a good live. Came in an apple box Bond? | |

| Oh gosh all the LP's we've got ..... I sold so many things, not the LP's, I sold some Concert T-shirts had them in the Airing cupboard for years and decided to just get rid of them, then I thought "Ebay" I'll ask Susan if she could sell them for me "Oh Mum you'll only get around £10 to £15" if that, well I thought I'll make some money....so I asked her to sell them.....well that £10 to £15 ....she said one day when we were in the car "Mum you're sitting down so....well {and she named the item} is now up to £70 and they've not finished" well everything went up and up and one item went for £300 others went for £200 and then one item went for £700......those items I was going to sling out or just sell them for £10. I've found a T-Shirt when I went to one of their Concerts of Rick Astley's ....it says Rick Astley The UK and European Tour 1988-89, then his photo and on the back it's got Rick Astley Tour 1988 . 89 Europe and all the places the tours went and dates and with him back in the music after years of him out of the record industry. and they did say he was the best act at Glastonbury You never know. She's coming up today.
I've got a signed LP of the Drifters with Ben E King, when I went with the Young Wives to Birmingham I've got 57 LP's and lots of EP's. We've got a few of Johnny Mathis, And Dusty, Carol King, about 3 of Dionne Warwick, a few of Cliff, as I said 57 LP's and lots of EP's. Our misspent youth. Though not the few single records I had before I met David, David told me to dump them.....a lot like my Gran, I remember we were in the pub one night and I went off to the loo came back and David said "What's the key you've got in your bag, I went mad at him going through my bag "It's just a key for a box I had" so he said "Put it in the ash tray" I told him no but he kept going on {I nearly put my engagement ring in instead} but I put the lovely little in. I was so used to being bullied I took it. Mad,

| My device was advertised in the AARP magazine. Not like the most advertised one, mine is better. It is for use anywhere you are, at home or out walking or shopping or on a day out somewhere. The "I have fallen and cannot get up" one is meant for home use only. Mine has a GPS connection to my cell phone. So can spot me wherever I am.
Melanie is safely back home. Ian will be leaving about noon today. Wonder of wonders, he got everything done that was on his list! The last item was the new cable box which would not let me record any programs. Ian called Spectrum, I have two cable boxes, only one had the record feature on it. After talking to a company rep all he had to do was swop the one in the living room for the one in the computer room and it all worked! It seems the tech installed them the wrong way round.
Yes, I have a new microwave oven, nothing fancy, same as the old one. It is classed as a countertop type as I have it on a built- in shelf between the stove and fridge over the unit between them. I don't have much counterspace or room over the stove to install one there.
Roofer will be here on Monday morning and Ian found the spare fiberglass tiles in the garage if he should need them. HVAC and asbestos removal will begin on the 29th of this month.
Ian has priced a new type of sun blind for the French windows. But that can wait on another list for now. The rollaway blind on there now is too heavy for me to wind up anymore. The Mountain Ash tree needs a hair trim ready for winter storms ahead. The Mexican Fan Palm out front does not have many dead fronds on it that blow down in a high wind, or I would have that trimmed as well. I think most of them came down in the last storm!
It was hot yesterday, 85f I believe. Its supposed to top out at 82f today and be bright and sunny. Humidity is at 59% so more comfortable. Moderate pollen count mostly weeds. and poor air quality. Record High for this date is 92f and average is 76f. Fingers crossed, we have had a light fire season so far. There is enough moisture in the plants from the humidity level, so grass and weeds are not as dried out as they normally are, at this time of year. I am a nit stressed out by all this work going to happen but I have been forced to put it off for so long and having both kids here has helped me get a handle on it at last. Its taking a big chunk out of my bank account but needs to be done. After the roof man has been, I can get my flu and Covid shots. Still need to take cat into the Vets office for an allergy shot. (She is doing so well dealing with all the extra people here) I think that is all for now. TT XXX

| Happy birthday Spencer I'm really glad we went and had the injection yesterday as two of the players were off with it One came brought by his dad asking if he could stay as he had been clear for there days It was thought best not and give it another week so he went home , The big thing about LP's is the cover and art work I've got alot of female singers I wonder why ,almost all of Dusty's even one as the Springfield's Cilla Black sing a rainbow,Nancy Sinatra these boots ,Cher some really good covers on that , I see the Beatles white album is fetching a load of morning intact with the portrait photos The one that's play all the time now when I'm working in the garage is Dionne Warwick hits of Bacharach And David ,hit after hit there must be 25 that you know the words to ,walk on by ,,any one that had a heart, trains and boats and planes ,say a little prayer,do you know the way to San Jose It's getting close to teatime over here | |

| Afternoon ........been to the dentist this morning, new dentist and I like her, teeth look good......so sunglasses on
It's an LP Bond with all the songs on that the CD's had on, just number as their CD but it's an LP.
Oh I loved "My Guy" great song.
Twice I've had really bad side affects with the Covid jab, but it's better than catching it. I don't class a sore arm as a side affect though.
Doesn't America have Maternity leave? So the mother can stay with the baby for a year and she sill gets paid? In fact in some companies Fathers got Maternity leave for 6 month.

| 04:27:37 Morning Yes Bond that was all I got from the Covid vaccine a sore arm but it does lessen after a day or two ,and my Flu shot was only a 1/3 of how the Covid felt ,never have a reaction to THAT and been having it now since starting work at U.S.Baird Corp in 1974 Well looks like yesterday will be the last day of our "SUMMER" heat as the rain and cooler temps arrive over the weekend and all next week although dry will be only in the 60's OK by me I can live with that but first thing in the morning its going to DIP down into the 40's Marge that is good Melanie will be back to stay with you when they do the HVAC nice she was able to see her brother for a few days as well and you got a NEW MICROWAVE I am sure that medical alarm will be a bit awkward at first but a handy thing to have being as your on our own Is it the one where the woman says "Ive Fallen and I can't GET UP" ??? Today 59 yrs ago I was in Kersesley hospital waiting on my son who will arrive at 3:05 pm time as he was born at 8:05 pm I always try to say happy birthday at the time they arrived so I will text him later He is taking his weeks vacation next week as he says he is feeling burned out having been with his new job a year on the 11th he is entitled to a week off with pay Another reason he wants it now is Brittany who has returned to work needs to drop her car off for some repair at the dealers and they have no loaners to give her so she is needing rides to work for a couple of days Her Mom was watching the baby for a while but I believe she now has a girl friend who she used to room with watching him for her Any way nothing to do today Telling me more clouds today than sun for you Bond same for Vicky my sister though will get today so she will be happy and another day in the 80's for Marge so good job Ian fixed your portable A/C I will check in later with you all Have a good day _________________ Carole B [i]

| I have a bunch of classic rock and roll vinyl LP records That might fetch some money, but they are all American record company ones. Even for British bands. Not played very often on the turntable we have in a tiered unit we own. It has a Bose sound system too. Peter made copies of the ones most played on CDs. Nearly 200 records all told. luckily Peter made a list of them all. Most places that buy and sell are in Hollywood which is a long jaunt for me.
We finally got Peters mysterious suitcase down and it contains only all kinds of tabletop books still in their original plastic shopping bags, untouched since bought! No sign of the wedding album yet. We just bought a new microwave and went to the bank. Ian is off to record some auditions with a friend of his and will pick up the microwave on the way back here.
Melanie messaged me that she is over the grapevine with no problem this time. It should be a straight drive up highway 99 for most of the rest of the way. She will be returning to be with me while the HVAC is installed and the asbestos removal the day before. I can handle the roofing repair. We have set up the medical emergency pendant and have 4 contacts listed. I do not actually need it yet but I need to get used to wearing it. and how to turn it off If I accidently turn it on when I do not need help. (It happens more than you think it does) Time for some lunch now and its getting hotter, its 83f right now.

| Glam photo Carole. .......btw right from Rob's first Album people asked if they did it on Vinyl, they didn't because it was so expensive to do but they're signed up a music company and they can afford it and knows what the music industry wants and that's vinyl. Yes Carole it'll sell, in fact people all over the world, and I do mean world, they were even selling to Russia and China, they have bought their music in CD's but now they're buying the 4th Album {the last one they did in CD} now in the Vinyl

| The last time we had the furnace replaced they removed all the asbestos ducts attached to the furnace but left the ones in the rafters in the attic space. The roof has such a low pitch that there is no room to store anything in there. My house is like a small bungalow. it was built in the 50s and is very basic. Its three bedrooms and living room and bathroom only that have heating and cooling vents in them The short hallway, the half bathroom and the room we added on are not connected to the system. The Kitchen just has an exhaust fan in the ceiling. The square footage of the house does not need vents in every single space. Kids are here and Melanie is going home today, Ian has a couple more days. Melanie will be returning when the HVAC goes in at the end of the month. TTFN XXXXX

| Good afternoon all Nice photo Carole lovely shoulders We went straight down to Nuneaton after the leading Players, parked in the park by the old clinic Just crossed the road ,one waiting by the time we had filled in the forms we went straight in Slight prick (stop it ) and out ,sat in the park for fifteen minutes watching a squirrel looking for the nuts he buried last week Then back A bit of a head ache but I don't know if that was the jab or the Leading Players We are in need of a couple of sheepdogs The spinning wheel looks good I've given it a light dusting of gold glitter, Asbestos they say it's fine if you don't disturb it But if there is work to be done you have to remove it , all the underboards under the facia would be asbestos, but is it blue grey or white Most like us have had it covered in with plastic now | |

| 04:34:57 Morning all Well a lot of chat I had to read back on ... Well done to Rob Vicky on the new record and album but I hope a lot of people are going back to the old record player so they can hear and buy it I got rid of mine YEARS ago so the CD you sent me I listen to in my as I do not have a player for them either here in the house Marge good thing then they discovered the Asbestos THAT is not good having it in the house I know it will be an extra charge as I have seen what they have to do on TV shows to get rid of it before making any repairs etc but it will be worth it I know for you when all is done will this be central A/C your having put in now ? I miss ours that we had at the old house Also sounds like your getting every thing sorted so the kids will have peace of mind that your OK ,I feel the same way too far away to have been a contact " I have fallen and cannot get up" Hold on Marge I'll be there in what 6 HOURS Same thing with me when I went to the DR's yesterday and they asked for contacts 'Spencer and Blaine of course were on the top of the list but had to put my oldest Tracie even though she is so far away so she would be able to ask what was wrong if any thing happened to me Well Flu shot was good only a VERY SLIGHT sore arm NOTHING like the Covid shot MAN the 2nd day I could not bear to LAY on my right arm .so I am GOOD today ! What a lot of BS going on with the republican party that if they do not get a new speaker of the house we will ONCE AGAIN be facing a Government SHUTDOWN in 44 days and in the mean time they are not doing their JOBS passing ANY THING ,also one candidate I see IF he gets in is saying NO MORE $$ for Ukraine Bond your Pig is funny looks like he is being readied for the "spit" Any way should be OK weather wise again today yesterday Hartford our Capital in land hit 86f breaking ANOTHER record for the date here in Bridgeport our high was 79f as we had the breeze coming off the Sound cooling us a bit Rain possible over night for us Looks cloudy with possible showers for Atherstone same for Vicky Nice day for Marge in Torrance highs around 80f today So that is your weather reporter signing off I will look in later _________________ Carole B [i]

| Ah I get you.
Next photo of the record......inside the cover with all the words. People are saying they're buying it but they haven't got a player.....though Steve or Susan haven't a record deck either when it comes to it, when CD's came out people dumped the record player and now everyone is going back to LP's. Strange,

| Avatar is Rob's Vinyl Album, odd everyone used to go for CD's but now they're back to Vinyl. anyway I love the purple look.....Cool as the kids say. That's one of their last album's, which lots of people started asking if they do it in Vinyl, anyway this it it. And their brand new album has come out also. and of course it's costing more than a CD does. But that's the record industry. Rob's on his piano on this new record. You can't say they're all the same Bond.......Edinburgh has the Riyal Yacht and lots of historic buildings. Wales has the slate mines. and lots of other things.

| Guess what! Just as I said I would drop the HVAC company if they did not turn up yesterday, I got a call that he was in the area and could he come in 45 minutes time! which was 3 hours earlier than expected. Melanie arrived halfway through the evaluation and she called Ian to get his butt here NOW. We all had questions (some repeats of what I asked) Only one fly in the ointment, it seems the ductwork in the attic contains the dreaded asbestos. so decontamination will need to be done ahead of the installation. its made the price jump somewhat but I feel that it needs to be done by people who know what they are doing. I do qualify for a discount and there is a government program, giving a tax break for new better performing equipment. Its still a large sum of money but with a heat pump, operating costs should be effective. We will be reviewing the estimate today so we are all on the same page before the work starts. (which could be in a few weeks time). It should take only a few days in total. The Roofer will be here the 9th and 10th.
My new senior safety device should arrive this afternoon. It has a GPS availability so can be tracked anywhere. It asked for at least 4 emergency contacts and I think Ian has asked at least two of his friends to be on the list as well as Melanie and Cindy.( Ian is too far away to act in an emergency here.) The kids now have the details of my medical plan and my doctors. Its best to plan ahead in my situation. Be prepared is my motto. Its best to do all this planning while they are here, then they can go back home knowing that Mum is being taken care of.
This afternoon at 2:20pm a nationwide test alarm will sound on all communication devises. It is just a test as there have been problems with certain companies in the past so this should see if everything is running the way it should be. The last time this was tried, someone in Hawaii did not push the "test only" button and they panicked. We locally are used to the monthly test sirens at the oil refinery. We are up wind of the plant so not in any danger. Looking for Microwaves this morning. it's unbelievable what has been accomplished since Ian got here. He will be exhausted and sleep all the way home I think.
Its going to be hot today, its 66f already at 9 am. Going to a high of 79f they say. Its sunny but 72% humidity. Record for this date was 92f in 2014. Average for this date is usually about 75f. Going to grab some breakfast before the kids show up. TTFN XXX

| Good Bond. It's looking warm but it's not. That's something which is different over there from here you'd never ask a Doctor about his personal life, you do find out about him, but you wouldn't ask him direct.....we knew he had 4 beautiful looking girls because he used to have their photos on a shelf, as they got older the photos changed, I could say what I know but that's something I wouldn't band about, certainly not on an open forum. all I'll say was his ex wife was a pillock He was a great Doctor and a lovely man.....but he's happy now. I've never been to Scotland, Susan often tell me we should go to Edinburgh I'd love it, it's where the Royal Yacht is. Never been to Ireland either.
