| Hi I hadn't heard of Gas Lighting until the Atherstone Amateurs did it as a play ,with the man trying to drive the woman crazy by being able to turn down the wall gas lights from a gas tap in the he basement or even next door? Sara is in it one of the reasons to go and see it again, Hi Marg ,he's a house cat but goes out and sometimes stays out at night I would think he has had all the shots | |

| If its just an allergy, It can be treated with an antihistamine. What is important is if it is an outside cat and if it has had its vaccinations. My early group of cats were outside cats but got them to come in at night. After one or two incidents which led to big Vet bills, I started keeping mine indoors. I still got them vaccinated for Rabies and Cat flu. With the warm weather we have here, we tend to use screen doors a lot. It can lead to contact with outside cats or other small animals through the screening. No actual biting or scratching but nose to nose.
I get my rescue cats used to having their paws touched to show its part of being stroked or brushed as soon as they let me. Some like Jagger never liked it but let me do it while howling his head off. My Daughter in law is highly allergic to cat dander so can never get my house clean enough to have her here to stay.
As the Vets only see Tabbitha once a year unless there is a problem. They like to do a blood test on her every time. Yes it costs but It is worth it to make sure she has no hidden problems. She has actually put on a little weight since last year.
The tooth was a too far gone to even try to save it. So next visit He will take an xray to see if any bits are left in there. Years ago, just after we were married, Peter needed a wisdom tooth taking out as he had a very narrow jaw so his teeth were a little crowded. The four prongs holding the tooth in place cracked and he would have pieces of it work their way up to the surface and out over many years. it was like shrapnel from a soldiers wound.
It sounds like Ian is enjoying being on location in Malta. Not that the actors get to see much of it, but the places he has sent photos of look very nice. He is having to watch how brown he is getting because he cannot have a change in skin tone from the first day of shooting! Not that he gets very brown anyway with his blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. It would change the makeup he wears. Managed a little grocery shopping yesterday after the Vet visit. stocked up on soft bread and soup and bought some Pound cake slices as I cannot have any hard cookies even if I dunk them in my tea! (Thats biscuits to you ) I can manage some soft cheese on crackers that I can break them up into tiny pieces. I can eat grapes if I am careful. But not apple slices even if they are thin enough to see through. I chose all the soups with veggies in them as they are cooked already. Tomato, split pea and mixed veggies in a broth I also have a chicken and rice one to try. I got a small can of baked beans as well. vegetarian style. Eggs I can have as my version of an egg salad sandwich or as scrambled. I could go for French toast as well. As the gum heals I will be able to manage some shredded meat. Time for breakfast here with instant oatmeal and blueberries today. TTFN XXX

| Hi Carole,I never thought of antihistamines and I have a cupboard of them ,I used to use them if I worked in a private house that had cats to stop all sneezing and eye watering ,it just shows I'm getting over the cat thing or was until the attack of Teddy,I used to get hay fever to but that almost gone Carole I think they are finding more interesting things to play than cards Drinks time | |

| 04:57:02 Morning Bond .glad your boo boo is getting better allergic reaction indeed ,I was going to suggest an Antihistamine tablet would have taken the swelling down like me when I had a Cat scan for my back years ago felt this "itching" on the side of my neck but could not MOVE being told to lay STILL ,but after they finished and I got off the table {back then my hair was long remember} and when I moved my hair there was this saucer size swelling ,seems I was allergic to the Red Dye they use so was given a pill and made to sit until it started to go down so now every time I go any where that is on my LIST of DO NOT GIVE Still Spring feeling here today before we start on the weather roller coaster AGAIN but for today its going to be in the HIGH 60's As long as it stays around this I feel GOOD its when it climbs HIGHER I get uncomfortable OH dear just listening to the TV a one year old has died after being bitten by a dog ,they have no info on what kind of dog it was but saying dogs were removed from the home Bond I see a shower possible later ,but your know what they say Spring showers bring forth the Wendy informs me that her sons Dr has stepped in and he now has someone to come in and cook a meal and help during the day as they are concerned over his blood numbers etc not eating the right food She said he also came into the charity shop on Tuesday and he seemed a LOT different in his mood said he was going to look into a washing machine or get his fixed as before Wendy was lugging not only shopping but his washing up to his flat a few times a week she had picked up a shopping cart on wheels some weeks ago for him from the shop and he had it with him so he did not have to carry heavy items I told her its good he was out as still having the colostomy bag was mainly the reason he did not want to go out any where Seems they still do not have a date for its removal My son said he would feel the same way not good for someone only in their 40's I know Ok so enough of WARD 10 talk Hope every one had a good night my meatball grinders went over a TREAT last night I shall return later And what ever FLOATS your or blows your skirt up while you two are out Vicky, maybe take a pack of cards for a hand or two as well _________________ Carole B [i]

| I think a trip to the doctors is in order Bond, have you had a tetanus jab? Oh we used to count the chemist van's ....used to play a game I'd say we'd see 10 before we ate our meal, David would say another number........we've never grown up. when we go to Tamworth it's Ambulances we see, though we only see 2 or 3. but hey if there's nothing interesting on the radio OR some music we want to listen to, we entertain ourselves. We're watching "trigger point" really good Bond. We've recorded "Love Rat" | |

| Well, it did not go as well as it should have at the dentists. The broken tooth has only the sides left which were pretty thin. So they shattered into pieces at the first pressure from the plier type device he used The rest of the time was spent removing the pieces.
Some of the tooth is still in place but was covered with a dressing, I am a bit tender round my left jaw line and a bit bruised inside my mouth. I took two Tylenol last night which helped with the thick lip I came home with. It was going to have to be taken out anyway. it just proved a bit more stubborn than he thought. Speach is a bit slurred but its only the Vets office this morning and they are taking more notice of the cat not me. Got the next appointment lined up.
Nose bleeds are not unknown in teenagers, Melanie had them at that age. Her doctor advised a little dose of Vitamin K when we were going on a trip to the UK, so it would not happen on the plane. with the dry air from the A/C. I do not remember Ian having them.
Cats are so different from dogs, They sort humans out very quickly into lovers or haters. You Bond sound like a lover. They also know how to spot someone who has a phobia about cats. Sitting in a room full of people they pick out their target and aim straight at them. They also have lots of quirks that once you react to them will keep you doing it until they tire of it. Sometimes biting can be from them getting a bit over excited Its more a love bite not a mouth full of teeth chomping on your skin. They let you know when they have had enough play or stroking. My cat will let me stroke her sides while she is laying down on the floor but she only allows 5 or 6 strokes then she is done. I am not allowed to touch her belly! She loves having a few treats first thing while I am preparing her dish of wet food. Which she won't touch until she has eaten some grated sharp cheddar cheese! She loves laying on me to nap and at nighttime. Not always what I want, as I have to remove her to make my visits to the smallest room. She is not a very big cat and never was. She is managing to hold her own even at this age. I have to help her in the fur tangles department. Its allowed for a few minutes of cutting some out and using a wire brush to ease what's left out of her coat. Then she fights me to get away.
I have to use a lot of planning to catch her this morning. I have had to leave all the bedroom doors open so she can see that Jagger is not hiding anywhere. So gradually will start to close all the doors and corral her in the kitchen and back room with no hiding places. She only has a couple of places to go to, one is a pub stool under the breakfast bar. the other is hiding behind the ruffle on the sofa round the bottom.
I just closed Peters Office door. I have about two hours until I need her in her carrier. which is kept in the garage out of sight. She would go into overdrive if she saw that. I am not up to it at the moment. first its a soft boiled egg and some soft bread fingers. TTFN XXX

| We went over and Jess was fine Dan was there too as he had started off to school didn't feel good and came back home, Mrsb was up in Jesse's bedroom chatting I made me a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa Teddy the cat rubbing his head and back back and forth between my legs as I was making the coffee As that's the area of his food So when I sat down he came over jumped on my lap snuggled down and closed his eyes with me rubbing the back of his head and ear After fifteen minutes he got off and sat facing me with his paws out like the Sphinx I went to tap his paws and he went for bit through the flesh on my ring finger and the back of the next finger I've always been allergic to cat but not in the last couple of years with Ted about They have both come up in little spots like a dying He went off and sat on a chair under the table giving me the I'll get you eye | |

| Morning.....dry, warmer, Asda man just been. Yes I was waiting to read Bond had said he'd do the ceiling also Carole. Both gardeners charge her £20 an hour, but she's got a small garden front and back, one gardener also cuts the tree {front garden} and trims the bush {again front garden} though as you knew a tree and a bush isn't cut very often, and the gardener who weeds it only comes once every month.....and that bit was the one I was saying "Soooo when you're not having a gardener at all couldn't you have Loran then" "I can't afford it" of course you can, your're not buying cigarettes "Yes but the flaming Government have put three pound on vaper and they keep going on about not smoking" I said but Linda you smoked for years you never said you couldn't afford having Loran then, I got "No" then she said but I can't afford it, I said Linda you really don't want Loran to come to you ever two weeks, is that it? She said "No of course it isn't I would love her to come every two weeks" I said Then you can afford it, "No I can't this new one is charging me forty pound " £40 said thought you said £20, she said "yes every two weeks, but it'll be forty pounds a month" and then It was , no it's £20 every two weeks and you can have Loran the week he's not coming, no it'll be £40 , from her...NO that for 4 weeks, from me and she said "Yes but it'll be £40 from the new gardener" from her......and that's how it went on. then she said "Anyway I've told her now and she was fine" I said you can always ring her up and say you can have her and she then went on, she was the only client Loran had once every two weeks so I can't ask her.......I thought leave it don't even go there. Jacket's arrived.....love it. Later | |

| Kate wanted to release a photo for mothers day and send a message that all was going well in her recovery. I think it was just an oversight in all the rush. Shame it ended up causing a fire storm. They do have a professional royal photographer on call but prefer to take photos of their children themselves.
Next time lets hope they run a photo past a professional before releasing it to the world wide press. The Kings speech got waylaid by one of his secretaries because of not setting it up to be broadcast but being sent to the ladies computer! It was spotted quickly and sent out to all the broadcast mediums. They must be new to the job. I cannot imagine what the staff for both houses are going through trying to take care of so much information coming in and going out each day. Saw the anti royal protesters outside the Abbey with their banners. having their chants drowned out by the native drummers outside the Abbey greeting area. The Royal calendar is planned at least six months ahead for certain events such as the event at the Abbey. Its already been a full program since Charles became King. Camilla is helping as much as she can by taking on extra items so their charities (They are patrons of hundreds) do not feel left out. Its a shame that Andrew is still under a legal cloud and will be until his case is resolved. The lady he settled with $$ is now involved in this new legal case. Who is going to be punished now that the person who started the whole mess is dead? Civil cases take such a long time to even get heard. It could drag on for years yet. Yes, Andrew was a twit to think he could hide what he was up to for very long. It was his fault alone, the rest of the royal family has no knowledge of what he was doing after hours. They might have guessed but kept quiet.
An even bigger twit is Harry, now his naked billiards game in Vegas is back in the news as the woman who took those photos is trying to sell them. It might be one more black mark If he tries to switch from a visa to US citizenship. Everyone forgets that John Lennon was banned from entering the US for seven years for admitting he smoked Pot when he applied for a Green card (a permanent residents visa) You need to be squeaky clean to be granted one. They do an in depth back ground check on you.
Peter had a pen pal in eastern Europe, Never met him or any visits between them but Peter was ordered to stop communicating with him or else. They insisted that he list every school he ever attended. In his case it was 12 different schools, he was a forces brat for goodness sake! Good job his Mum and Dad remembered!
Any how, I have a dental appointment at 12:30 today and a vet appointment tomorrow so better get cracking here. TTFN XXX

| Afternoon.......we went to Tamworth, Costa Coffee, well to M&S first to get the sarnies, often Costa Coffee doesn't have the sarnie's we want so we go to M&S to get the sarnie's and then one of Costa Coffee cakes and a tea and black coffee....and sit in the car watching the cars etc going by. It had stopped raining when we got there but started raining as we drove home. Not sure where Morrison's are Bond. Are you sure it's Frenchie you're talking about Carole, Rizzo was the tough Pink lady, Stockard Channing played Rizzo, remember her singing "Look at me I'm Sandra Dee lousy with virginity" and Sandy came into the room and said "Are you making fun of me Rizzo?" ......Frenchie was a softy played by Didi Conn. As for that picture, so what, I don't think it's a big deal, look though any Magazine's and see the celeb's photo's being enhanced. Kate's been seen with her Mum doing the children's school run. and she was seen yesterday with William leaving Windsor Castle.....so what's all the fuss We want some Easter Wallet's for the Grandkids......though David is saying "They're too old now" they'll never be too old, we don't buy eggs now just give them money. Tea please Bond. Oh Carole the photo was taken March 2022. | |

| 05:43:59 Forgot to mention there is a LOT of WHO HAH over the picture of Kate and the children that they say now was photo shopped or altered and that Kate has admitted to doing it Maybe they should have just waited until she is 100% to be seen in public _________________ Carole B [i]

| Good evening all from a damp Atherstone I don't think it's raining but damp in the air We have just been the Tesco spending a electronic voucher for £55 that I got when changing to Vodafone broadband so a bit worried that I may swipe it off as it was on my emails But it all went well so we have £55 of meat and booze I'm getting towards the end of my good but terrible book about the first world war in the trenches, stories by the soldiers of the day Terrible terrible stories The next book is lined up ,the man that died twice By Richard Osman , about the group of old ladies in a home who solve murders ,mrsb has just finished it and says it's very funny so we will say in time ,I still have two carrier bags full to work through In Tesco I bumped into a old worker from my apprenticeship days talking about old women chatting, we could see our wives looking at us without saying a word but their eyes said it all So the pink lady will be known as Frenchie ? Vicky I don't know where you got the name from but that was slang name for a condom Sorry Vicky I have a lovely picture of you in pink leather I don't know if I should delete the line above | |

| Carole, if it was to do with some kind of security thing. The police would have not been able to say anything anyway. It took ages before we were notified about night maneuvers going on out along the coast and out at sea. It was the sonic booms that frightened everyone. (Not intended but its a large area of open ocean out in the Pacific. Just coming too close to land.)
I have said for a long time that electric cars are not yet ready for the open market. Their milage on one charge is about 250 miles max. It would mean if I drove up to Melanies place, I would have to stop half way to recharge and only just make it to Jamestown and need another one! They were meant to be for city driving only. Do you know how much one of those batteries costs to replace? I have read that its over several thousand $$
My present car has fuel injection instead of a carb. On long trips I can go 500 miles on one tank of gas in one day. For a 4 cylinder 3.2 engine not bad.
The lithium batteries are very dicey. even the scooters that have small ones have had fires, one inside a house! Others have been in parking areas under lean-to's . So not just one car burned up but a whole row. I have heard of fires caused in the overhead bins of planes from a Lithium battery in a computer. Quickly put out! I was advised to take mine out of the camera I used at the time and keep it separate while traveling. And that was a long time ago. Majority of the batteries are made in China. One Japanese car company was blamed at first but they investigated and found that the common denominator were the batteries. (You will note that none of them were being charged at the time.)
Our City vehicles are on a compressed liquid gas, an easy change over from diesel, Including buses. It was done a few at a time but each one now has a banner that says they have no emissions coming out of the tail pipe. Post Office vans are still on the old type of batteries Like the milk floats we used to have in the UK. And they tend to break down a lot. They are needed here because the routes are so huge and handle a lot of parcels. Must away to my breakfast and have things to do. TTFN XXX

| Afternoon.......and it did rain early this morning Carole, dried now but "Global Warming" try moving into the ice age. Yes yes Carole I know Bond was talking about his son, they are there testing out cars and I was talking about various Electric cars, and the problem people are having, dangerous problems. Bond talking about his son just reminded me about these various stories I'd heard and read about......a TV guy this morning was talking about him being locked in his Electric car and not being able to control it and him screaming to the police to stop the car and get him out.....another guy was saying we shouldn't worry, just report the fault to the dealer/garage a bit too late if you can't stop it and you are killed, or it catches fire and you can't get out. Oh started reading one of Susan's 2 books she gave me, I'd read a number of pages and then realised I'd read it.....not sure if I've read the second book which followed it on, will try it and see. It's the author of the Verity book, Rob was saying Dawn had almost read the one I gave Dawn, she reads it every night and is saying "It's really good your Mum was right" Ok back later........oh sent for my pink leather jacket. I'll be called "Frenchie" Carole | |

| A dangerous thing driving an electric car no matter where you are.....I think the Government {which ever party} will start to question whether it's wise to push Electric cars. An electric Jag was driving along the M62 when suddenly the guy driving it couldn't slow it down and it started going faster and faster......he couldn't slow down or even brake, managed to phone the police who caught up with him and got in front, the car rammed into the back of 2 police cars and slowly the car started to slow down and finally managed to stop. We've heard time and again about Electric cars locking doors and the people not able to get out of the car, electric cars catching fire. Right I'm off to bed. Nighty night. | |

| Afternoon/evening. Yes Bond Saturday certain was the best day to have your BBQ. Oh David did enjoy putting the law down Margaret, and I was daft enough to go along with it. Well got some lovely flowers and also money in my cards to put in my saving up box.....I've got £1,205 saved up so far. Though I'm thinking of buying a leather jacket, pink leather jacket with some of the money. I was also going to say you sounded so well Margaret but I read you've got a migraine, well hope that clears soon. Avatar.....the lovely photo of Laura {red} and Codie {blue} when they had the leavers party at Coombe Abbey. | |

| I forgot about the time change. Happy Mothers day to our UK mothers. Ours is in May this side of the pond. Finally getting back on track here. The upset tummy threw my BP meds off completely. it was like starting from scratch all over again. I posted on my Torrance web site about the jet flying over my house (I am under one of the takeoff paths) No one commented until this morning! One other event might have caused a flight pattern like this and it could have been a rehearsal for a Fleet week in San Diego which would have included Marine fighter jets. I have not been able to clarify that yet. San Diego is about 100 miles due south and is known as Navy Town. Its also the base of the Top Gun school for pilots. What a fighter would be doing this far north I do not know! Unless it was a stunt like some pilots do when they are not engaged in military games. Camp Pendelton is a huge Marine training base just North of San Diego (which one of our freeways runs right through). They have a runway too, Shaped like the deck of an aircraft carrier. (Well, they have to practice somewhere) Cannot have planes missing the target out at sea. Those planes are expensive! Not been doing much at home. Had a mild Migraine yesterday. It looks funny but wearing my sunglasses indoors helps. Cannot read or watch TV. Just have to roll with it and settle for a nap and sleep it off. Thank goodness its not as bad as it once was. That took a strong pain reliever and a hot water bottle on my tummy and a nap of about two - three hours. I used to miss classes at school and had to make them up. At work it was time taken off my workday so not very popular. Nothing anyone could do about them in those days. Well, its time I had some breakfast and reset my watch and clock. As Carole said everything wired to a wifi changes automatically. TTFN XXX | |
