| Just found this on them ,plus there are different ones Hebe Burgundy Blush Common Pests and Plant Diseases Aphids and spider mites find this plant quite tasty. Take care of that problem with horticultural oil or an organic insecticide. Fungal issues might arise if the plant is too wet. Remedy this by keeping good air circulation around the shrub and keeping the soil moist, but not overly wet. Here end'th my two pennyworth _________________ Carole B [i]

| 04:42:43 Morning Bond yes looks dry today for you but a possible shower later so if you get the two bushes in that will be good getting them watered by natural rain fall √ What kind of bushes are they will they grow taller than the Yucca We also should have another beautiful day ,one where if I were able to I would be out mowing my back grass as its just long enough now with all the rain we have had to get a trim ,but I have been TOLD NOT TO DO IT by Blaine ,only because of this STUPID KNEE of mine ,although when I was still doing it last year he kept REMINDING ME that I was 80yrs old SO WHAT ? if I felt OK doing it and I took it slow But the knee is not any better so have to be careful Marge hope the pills kick in for you sooner than later I see your granddaughter Vicky now I am on here very pretty Well not much news here today so will pop in later on to catch up I see the Boston Marathon was ran with out any incidents unlike 11 yrs ago when those two brothers set off bombs Allergies are kicking in as all the blossoms etc are popping Talk about popping ,my white& pink Xmas /Easter cactuses that I merged together that USED to BLOOM preciously but have not since I merged them have NOW decided to give me 4 blooms ,well the WHITE ONE so MAYBE this will be the start When I go see Fran she has plants around her salon and two are Cactuses and I wish you could have SEEN THEM ABSOLUTELY LOADED with pink flowers I think though its the lighting that they have all day with the florescent lighting that makes them so BEAUTIFUL I know they like partial light & a little sunlight so I only can put mine on an end table on the side of my bay windows and cannot put them in the Bay because of a CERTAIN CAT named Harry who like Tabitha USED to do goes after plants or flowers where as Buddy for what ever reason does not bother with them Ah well I shall be back later MORNING LADIES _________________ Carole B [i]

| Good morning all from Atherstone it's a bright morning here so far with a few dark clouds drifting around on the horizon, We bought two little bushes and two bags of Cotswold Stones (chippings) so that's my job this morning, the bushes are for Infront of the yuka that now have lost their leaves at the bottom making them at a bit leggy if they were palm trees along the beach on the west coast but they look a bit knobby in the back garden So breakfast cornflakes and cold milk with sliced banana Back later | |

| Well what a day so far.......rain, sun and hailstone. Yes we watched Midsummer Murders also... As Carole says I bet you were thinking of us Bond. Our boys also shot the drones down Carole Oh I've been having some weird dreams also Carole. Gosh I do hope your Creeping Phlox does grow Carole I love it. We have a blue small flower which just spreads, David cuts it back every so often, but I like it. Don't ask me the name. Trouble with the NHS Margaret is the Government give those in charge the money and they spend it as they like, Diversity Managers who have vast Salaries, who make sure diversity is practiced throughout the hospital, {nurses wear rainbow badges} Hospitals also have more Managers than Nursing staff, Managers also have vast salary's that's the top and bottom of it.....the Government are giving the money it's just not being spent in the right way. Later.....oh this photo of Lily was taken this way, artistic she said. If you say so. | |

| I think all the wet weather has finished off my Red maple in the planter out front of the porch. Its looking very seedy at the moment. Its a miniature tree, only about 4 foot tall. The planter has no source of water as it is away from the sprinklers. It get its water from a down spout from one section of guttering over the garage when its not watered by hand. So its usually much dryer in that bed. The flowers are just the opposite, blooming fit to bust!
Saw the second part of the Post Office and Mr. Bates last night. They advertised a documentary is coming to give inkling of how long its taken to come this far. It proves that there is no real oversight on any of the ministries in the government. Which explains the mess with the running of some of the NHS hospitals. The ones that are functioning should be looked at to see how they do what they are doing. The problem is that positions cannot be filled fast enough to bring them up to the strength they should have. Our hospitals are mainly run by Philippian nurses.
Places that make and sell internet programs should be held responsible for mistakes not removed before they are sold. The prime example now is Boeing Aircraft, no final inspections on paper. The US government buys aircraft knowing there will be 'faults in them to fix after they are already in active service! In the car world we call them Lemons!
Enough of that.
Its time for breakfast here. Took my first antidepressant pill last night. Told to not expect any change for at least a month. TTFN XXX

My dad used say too much sun on their heads sends them funny So cases down out of the roof and sort my clothes out for the holidays as it's too wet to be outside I don't think I will need shorts but I hope we get a chance to sit out looking at the sea eating a ice-cream. Breakfast and it's cornflakes and warm milk Coffee tea and large lemon and lime Back later

| BOND you're not on holiday yet so where's our last drinks?
I bet he did laugh as well Carole, that's nice though that you enjoy yourselves all meeting up to have a gossip and a laugh. That's what I miss with Sylvia and Tony not being around we used to have such a laugh. When we drive by and I see where Sylvia used to stand waiting for me, and I can see her as plain as anything, she always got there early so she could have a smoke before I turned up.
Ok speak tomorrow. | |

| Sorry just come in with my absent note.....excuse Vicky she's not really got a good enough excuse......but she's sorry.
Oh I know Carole the prices go up and up.
Oh yes I kept meaning to say how lovely your flowers are Carole....beautiful
Oh what a shame Margaret, couldn't you get the ring fixed? I never thought about a wedding ring for David, in fact I wasn't going to bother with an engagement ring, until David's Mum said "Of cause the girl needs an engagement ring" so we went and picked one up the following week.
That wasn't taken in the mirror Bond one of her friends took it. in fact another friend was holding up a mobile phone to take a photo, when one of her friends took this.
Later........having oven chips, shouldn't but I am

| My engagement ring came from H. Samuels as well. Mine was from the branch on Trinity street where the Pub/restaurant is now. My original wedding ring came from a fancy Jewelers down near Greyfriars green. The engagement ring had # hearts on a twist and the wedding ring had hearts engraved all the way around. It was a slim line ring which did not last very long in the swimming pool in the complex we first lived at here. Its the chlorine you know, it changes the composition in gold! So it cracked in two places. I still have it. Peter went and bought me a new ring which is faceted all around it I have never taken it off since he placed it on my finger. I have an antique Ring with a band of 8 diamonds in a line for our 25 th anniversary and got another ring with two diamonds like two tulips buds over lapping which was for our 50th, got that one in York on our anniversary trip.
Peter was not one for wearing rings but I gave him a signet ring with a small diamond in the middle which much later which had to be cut off his finger after taking a baseball very hard in the hand which made his ring finger swell. It was neatly done so a jeweler could have mended it but he was so involved with work that he said he would do it later but he forgot about it. I still have it. Sometime during his MS disease I think he looked for the signet ring without telling me. Instead he bought himself a platinum ring to wear as a wedding ring But I told him, That that boat had sailed and I didn't care anymore. Peter had always been a romantic and I don't know what was going through his mind to do that. It had no loving attachment to it.
Peter would surprise me with some nice jewelry occasionally when the mood struck him. I never expected any of it, but out of the blue on Christmas, my birthday or our wedding anniversary I would receive something that he had picked out in a jewelry store. I joked that it took 50 years to get my service stripes! (Meaning the anniversary rings) This was the young man who came shopping with me in the precinct on a Saturday and disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a single rose from the florist shop. He would take me to the round cafe for a coffee and doughnut both smothered in whipped cream! As a student and trainee he was not making very much money so tried to go Dutch but he wouldn't have it. I found out much later that he had sold all his sports equipment from his boarding school days in Germany. He even sold his WW II 98cc motorbike and took to riding a regular bike Just so he could take me dancing or to see a film. I felt so guilty when I finally found out years and years later. (One of his friends told me in front of him) I had no idea! A man of many secrets! Just wish he had told me where he put our wedding album! I fear he put it in the rubbish bin. His Dad gave the same treatment to his Flying logs which we would loved to have had. I do have some odd photos from the album so i do have something. Time for breakfast here and I think Liverpool are playing at the moment. TTFN XXX

Glad your weather is looking good Bond ,we are in the 40's here right now should see 60's later but still cloudy like it was yesterday I am being told your at 51f but feeling like 48f right now your highs only in the 50's with more clouds later than sun so if its SUNNY make the MOST of it as you also have over night showers coming and Monday LOOKS WET but dry the rest of the week Yes Vicky your Granddaughters both are very pretty Had a quick text from David thanking me for the birthday wishes so at least he saw it Wendy and I were both remarking what a sad thing it is as BOTH our families are so dysfunctional,Chelsea is friends with me on FB but never reaches out only see Brittany very rarely since she had Khai {which I understand ,but as Spencer has found out the only time she reaches out to HIM is when SHE NEEDS SOMETHING David keeps in touch on holidays ,being so far away now not popping up to our State like he used to do Wendy has the same problem her daughter moved with a man who CONTROLS her and she and her son have cut ties with her parents completely Antony IS or should say coming around now with HIS 4 children having been put into foster care after his wife died and because of his PTSD could not care for them ,now Wendy has Callum living with her ,but they do not speak to the oldest child a girl who it seems got herself pregnant and the two youngest are still with foster parents We believe its a pattern but NOT of our choosing So those with NORMAL families THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS OK I need to go get ready Back later MORNING LADIES _________________ Carole B [i]

| You're like Susan's MIL we used to see better work which Shirley does in Gallery's for high prices but she always said "Nobody would buy my work" but they would, honest she's got the loft full of work she could sell, on her stairs in the hall she's got paintings which I just love, people would buy them, but Shirley just laughs. even though people have asked her to paint various things for them or for a present for someone. She did the poppy one for us because she'd done a few and I had said how lovely they were, so Susan arrived with the painting you've seen, and then she did the church Susan and Matt were married in for us, and then one of Benjie. but she would accept any payment. It's good you can get into a tux then.....and you've signed up to our agency. We bought my rings at Samuels in Bolton Carole. Oh btw terrible about the stabbing in Australia, one a 9 month old, who's in hospital, had to have some sort of Operation, but the mother died, along with 5 others the man with the knife was shot dead by a policewoman. | |

| Vicky my first wedding ring and engagement ring bought in Samuels jewelry on Trinity st Coventry cost Gil £23 for both back in 1959 No I would never sell this wedding ring ,my mum had my old ones after we divorced I have Gils that I bought him when we remarried I wear on my middle finger I had it engraved with the following C & G -11-28-59-C&G -6-1-97-Together again (Both wedding dates ) It would have gone with him when he passed except that he had taken it off as it had gotten too tight so was in my jewelry case Have a good night _________________ Carole B [i]

| My wedding ring was £9 my engagement ring was £19......though David does say "That was expensive in those days" well I know my cousin Carol had a antique engagement and it was £400, she was engaged a couple of years before me. Bu David wasn't on high wages, well that's what he told me But anyway you can't sell your wedding ring we could sell Bond, no can't do that, Ah got it he can be an Escort.....tips he can keep but the rest is yours now why didn't I think of that before.....he's got a tux, Carole your money worries are over. Bond just sign here.........dot dot dot. Oh I had a jammy doughnut with pink incing on today. They've cut the number of horses in the Grand National than it used to be Margaret it's 34 now. .....it gets me when a horse breaks a leg, which could be fixed, but they shoot it, rather than pay money to the Vet. That is sad, if it's not running then it's not worth anything, but they could sell it, one of the "Horse and Donkey Rescue Sanctuary" would have it, no need to shoot it. Haven't had a fruit and nut for a while Margaret, Steve used to give his Dad one every year but he hasn't for ages. How much did you sell it for Bond? | |

| I did not count the rioters who had heart attacks! One police officer was sprayed directly in the face with what was thought to be a bear repellent but was some homemade mixture that poisoned him and he died a few days later. A lot of those Capitol Police were military veterans so not like rent a cops.
Notice another government department hitting the news over there. Its the DWP and unpaid carers. They are a bunch of gangsters! Too complicated for me to explain but daylight robbery again.
I am feeling so much better NOT taking the Lisinopril for BP. I did manage to get my hair cut , I was the last customer of the day. I have appointments for some on the phone counseling. ( I am doing that to please my doctor)
I can now go ahead and schedule another dental X ray in four weeks time. I now need to contact the Termite inspector or at least send him a check to keep my policy up to date. I also have an approval for a visit to a foot doctor that is good until July. Need to renew my American Passport also. Have no plans to travel but you never know.
Spring is a time for renewal they say. I need to get some work done on the garden. The hillside weed bushes need cutting back again. All that rain made them grow twice as tall as they were. The dune grass is taking over both back and front. Right now I have several flower clusters in bloom. A white one ,a pink one and a deep red almost purple one. They are a daisy like flower. i need to get the pots ready for planting. Have not done that in 3 years! Two on the front steps and at least 4 out in the back. Now I am just going to enjoy feeling normal again for the week end. TTFN XXX
Been watching a couple of Prem games on TV. we have showers due today so its pretty drab outside.
I came away with some Goodies from the Import Place that now calls itself World Market. Lots of Cadbury items. (I went in there for my Yorkshire Gold Tea bags.) could not resist a few items like Fruit and Nut bars also two Aero bars and some biscuits , lemon creams and shortbread. I also got some marmalade jam. Do not like the American version.
I think they let too many horses in that steeple chase.

| It doesn't have to be something of value Carole, There is a saying "One man's junk is another man's valuables" I don't think that is right but you know what I mean....oh Carole there must be something, if Bond was near you I'd suggest we auction Bind out to paint a room or two, we'd have those hands going up, specially when we say "Just wearing his shorts" and boots Bond it has to be boots. Any old toys Carole........old toys are worth a lot. David. Pastry Bond? So I can't invite you in for a slice of my Apple Pie......what about apple grumble? And me too Carole, pill for reflux......Bond get thee to a doctor, fingers and heartburn. Horlick's for me Bond.....please, So no lovely grand daughter Bond? Oh can you see her Carole.? | |

| Bond are you talking about Hosta ,mine are all up in my tubs gone from how yours look ( purple fingers) to green shoots but I do not have a problem with slugs ,it's the Dear who jump the wall behind us and snack on ONLY my Hosta's ,so I bought a couple of years back a spray from Home Depot that I use and it works a treat ,but I have to remember to re-spray them after it rains
As to your heart burn maybe you need a pill like Marge and I take for reflux I'll take a large L & L PLEASE _________________ Carole B [i]
